Abstract

Teacher professionalism is a key factor in improving the quality of national education. Teachers play a role not only as implementers of learning but also as strategic actors in character formation, student potential development, and the achievement of national education goals. This article aims to comprehensively analyze teacher professionalism in the national education system, emphasizing the position of teachers, their duties and responsibilities, their rights and obligations, and their competencies as professional educators. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a library research approach. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis techniques by critically examining the substance of regulations and literature to identify the relationship between the normative framework and the practice of teacher professionalism in the context of national education. The results of the study indicate that teachers have been normatively recognized as professionals with a strategic position in the national education system. Teacher professionalism is reflected in the implementation of pedagogical duties, moral and social responsibilities, the proportional fulfillment of rights and obligations, and the mastery of four main competencies: pedagogical, professional, personality, and social. However, the implementation of teacher professionalism still faces various challenges, such as unequal working conditions, high administrative burdens, limited ongoing professional development, and educational policy dynamics that do not fully support strengthening the role of teachers. This article concludes that teacher professionalism is not only determined by the quality of individual teachers but is also greatly influenced by support from the education system as a whole.

Abstract

Tri pusat pendidikan adalah tiga pusat pendidikan yang secara bertahap dan terintegrasi mengemban tanggung jawab pendidikan bagi anak. Tiga pusat pendidikan yang dimaksud meliputi pendidikan dalam lingkungan keluarga, pendidikan dalam lingkungan sekolah, dan pendidikan dalam lingkungan masyarakat. Ketiga pihak yang bertanggung jawab atas pendidikan tersebut dituntut untuk melakukan kerja sama yang komprehensif satu sama lain. Lingkungan keluarga, yang merupakan lingkungan pertama dan dianggap sebagai fondasi pendidikan anak, yang juga merupakan awal dari pendidikan yang akan dijalani kemudian, juga memainkan peran yang sangat penting dalam pembentukan kepribadian. Lingkungan sekolah adalah lingkungan kedua yang dihadapi anak-anak. Pendidikan dalam lingkungan sekolah memiliki dasar, tujuan, isi, metode, dan persyaratan lain yang disusun secara sistematis dalam bentuk kurikulum. Oleh karena itu, sekolah dianggap sebagai fondasi pengetahuan ilmiah. Sementara itu, dalam lingkungan masyarakat, anak-anak akan mewujudkan sejumlah teori pendidikan dan pengajaran yang telah diajarkan di lembaga pendidikan sebelumnya. Karena pada akhirnya, anak-anak akan mengaktualisasikan dan melibatkan diri mereka dalam lingkungan masyarakat.

Abstract

Family disharmony or broken home conditions  are a serious challenge to the emotional development and psychosocial resilience of students in the elementary school environment. This study aims to find out the school program and the form of psychological support provided to students who come from disharmonious families. Qualitative approach with case study design. Data collected through interviews with 5 informants (principals, homeroom teachers, Islamic religious education teachers, school committees and students), observation and documentation. Data analysis through reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. Data analysis using Nvivo 12 Pro. The credibility of the data is ensured through the source triangulation technique. The results of the research show that the development of students at SD Inpres Bontobuddung is carried out through the role of teachers as functional counselors, the application of a humanist approach based on parental figures, strengthening character through spiritual activities, and partnerships with parents through the RUKOKU program to support student development holistically.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the principal and teacher strategies in strengthening religious tolerance at Hang Tuah Senior High School in Makassar. The focus of the study is directed at understanding how the principal's leadership contributes to creating an inclusive school environment, as well as how teachers implement learning strategies and role models in instilling values of tolerance in students. The urgency of this research is based on the school's religious diversity, yet it lacks a structured program to strengthen tolerance.The research method used was qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, and students. Data validity was tested using source and method triangulation techniques. Data were analyzed using the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.The research results show that the principal acts as an educator, motivator, innovator, and role model in strengthening religious tolerance. The principal also promotes a culture of mutual respect, fosters dialogue, and provides guidance to teachers on integrating tolerance into school activities. Meanwhile, teachers implement values-based learning strategies, model behavior, promote inclusive religious programs, and develop communication that prioritizes mutual respect both inside and outside the classroom. The combination of the principal's role and teacher strategies significantly influences the development of tolerance in students.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze in depth the description of student management in preventing student delinquency at SMP Negeri 5 Takalar. In addition, this research is directed to identify various supporting and inhibiting factors that influence the effectiveness of student management, as well as to find strategic solutions in increasing the success of preventing student delinquency. This type of research is qualitative using descriptive analysis methods. The author specifically uses a phenomenological approach. Data were collected from primary sources, namely the principal, Vice Principal for Student Affairs, Guidance and Counseling Teachers, Parents and Students. Secondary data were collected directly from the research location through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed through three stages: reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity was maintained by triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the study show that: (1) Student management is implemented through planning an integrated coordination system, implementation through direct supervision and patrols of the school area for early detection of bullying, as well as synergistic evaluation between homeroom teachers, Guidance and Counseling teachers, and the principal. (2) Forms of student delinquency include administrative violations, time discipline (truancy), to serious violations of social norms such as verbal bullying. (3) The main supporting factors are collective commitment to the school's vision and clear regulations, while obstacles arise from the dynamics of impulsive student behavior. (4) The solution implemented uses a multidimensional approach that combines spiritual and psychological aspects, and intensive collaboration with parents to create sustainable behavioral changes. The results of this study provide important implications that include theoretical and practical aspects in the realm of educational management. Theoretically, this study emphasizes that the success of student character development is not sufficient to rely only on formal regulations, it requires a managerial approach that is humanistic, emotional, and spiritual.

Abstract

This study aims to explore educational values ​​in the Quran, Quranic learning methods, and their relevance to modern learning theories. Using a descriptive qualitative approach based on literature review, this article analyzes Quranic verses related to educational concepts, such as Surah Al-Baqarah, Surah Ali Imran, Surah Yusuf, Surah An-Nahl, and Surah Al-Mulk, as well as interpretations by scholars such as M. Quraish Shihab, Jalaluddin Al-Mahalli, and Ibn Kathir. The results show that the Quran offers a holistic learning method that includes parables, stories, targhīb-tarhīb, dialogue, role models, practical exercises, and advice. These methods align with modern learning theories, such as Behaviorism, Constructivism, and Experiential Learning. Another finding of this study is that the integration of technology in Islamic education can be achieved by considering Quranic values, such as lite racy, information validation, trustworthiness, and digital etiquette. Quranic education can address the challenges of the modern era by integrating intellectual, spiritual, moral, and social dimensions.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the planning and implementation of the Strategic Management of the Madrasah Principal in improving teacher performance at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Annuriyah Bontocini, Jeneponto Regency. The research findings indicate that the madrasah principal has successfully implemented strategic management principles regularly and gradually. This process involves three main stages: strategy formulation (internal-external analysis and setting measurable targets), strategy implementation (through comprehensive programs such as training, workshops, academic supervision, and work ethic development), and strategy evaluation and control (periodic monitoring). The implementation of this strategic management proved to bring positive and significant changes to teacher performance. The improvement in teacher performance is notably seen in pedagogical and professional competence, work discipline, initiative, and commitment. Teachers feel more directed and motivated, supported by open communication and clear work direction from the madrasah principal acting as a strategic leader. The madrasah principal plays an important role in aligning all resources with the madrasah's vision and mission and creating a positive work culture. Nevertheless, there are some constraints, such as limited budget, resources, execution time, and variations in individual teacher readiness/motivation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja pegawai dalam perspektif kepuasan masyarakat pada pelayanan administrasi kependudukan di Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil (Dukcapil) Mal Pelayanan Publik (MPP) Barru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi untuk memahami pengalaman dan persepsi masyarakat serta pegawai dalam proses pelayanan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model analisis interaktif yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja pegawai Dukcapil MPP Barru secara umum telah mencerminkan kualitas dan profesionalisme yang baik, ditunjukkan melalui ketelitian dalam verifikasi data, sikap ramah, koordinasi internal yang efektif, serta responsivitas terhadap kebutuhan dan keluhan masyarakat. Namun demikian, ketepatan waktu pelayanan masih menghadapi kendala akibat tingginya jumlah pemohon dan keterbatasan sistem jaringan yang terintegrasi secara nasional. Tindak lanjut evaluasi pelayanan dilakukan melalui respons cepat terhadap keluhan, peningkatan transparansi informasi, serta penguatan prosedur dan pengawasan pelayanan. Simpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja pegawai yang profesional, responsif, dan beretika berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kepuasan masyarakat terhadap pelayanan administrasi kependudukan di MPP Barru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengelolaan administrasi sekolah melalui arsip digital berbasis Google Drive di UPT SMP Negeri 1 Amali. Penelitian ini didorong oleh kebutuhan akan manajemen dokumen yang efisien, aksesibilitas, dan keamanan data. Penelitian ini berfokus pada tiga aspek utama: (1) perencanaan pengelolaan arsip digital, (2) implementasi oleh guru dan staf administrasi, dan (3) evaluasi efektivitas Google Drive dalam manajemen administrasi. Metode deskriptif kualitatif digunakan, dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam dengan staf sekolah, dan analisis dokumen. Analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan untuk menilai efektivitas Google Drive dalam mengelola administrasi sekolah. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa Google Drive meningkatkan pengorganisasian dokumen, efisiensi kerja, dan mengurangi penggunaan kertas. Namun, masih terdapat tantangan, termasuk konektivitas internet yang terbatas, pelatihan yang tidak memadai bagi staf, dan risiko keamanan data. Penelitian ini juga mengungkapkan bahwa meskipun hak akses terhadap dokumen telah terstruktur, masih terdapat kekurangan kebijakan standar untuk pengorganisasian dan perlindungan dokumen.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tantangan yang dihadapi guru fisika dalam menyiapkan perencanaan pembelajaran mendalam pada Kurikulum Merdeka di sekolah penggerak Kabupaten Takalar, serta upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru fisika menghadapi beberapa tantangan dalam menyusun perencanaan pembelajaran mendalam, di antaranya kesulitan memahami konsep pembelajaran mendalam, keterbatasan waktu dan fasilitas, perbedaan kemampuan siswa, serta kendala dalam menyusun asesmen dan mengintegrasikan delapan dimensi profil lulusan. Tantangan tersebut memengaruhi efektivitas perencanaan pembelajaran sesuai tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka. Untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, guru fisika melakukan berbagai upaya, seperti meningkatkan kompetensi melalui pelatihan, menerapkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, memanfaatkan teknologi pembelajaran seperti simulasi virtual, melakukan pendampingan kepada siswa, berkolaborasi dengan rekan guru, serta mencari referensi pembelajaran melalui teknologi.
