Abstract

The research aims to analyze in depth the description of student management in preventing student delinquency at SMP Negeri 5 Takalar. In addition, this research is directed to identify various supporting and inhibiting factors that influence the effectiveness of student management, as well as to find strategic solutions in increasing the success of preventing student delinquency. This type of research is qualitative using descriptive analysis methods. The author specifically uses a phenomenological approach. Data were collected from primary sources, namely the principal, Vice Principal for Student Affairs, Guidance and Counseling Teachers, Parents and Students. Secondary data were collected directly from the research location through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed through three stages: reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity was maintained by triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the study show that: (1) Student management is implemented through planning an integrated coordination system, implementation through direct supervision and patrols of the school area for early detection of bullying, as well as synergistic evaluation between homeroom teachers, Guidance and Counseling teachers, and the principal. (2) Forms of student delinquency include administrative violations, time discipline (truancy), to serious violations of social norms such as verbal bullying. (3) The main supporting factors are collective commitment to the school's vision and clear regulations, while obstacles arise from the dynamics of impulsive student behavior. (4) The solution implemented uses a multidimensional approach that combines spiritual and psychological aspects, and intensive collaboration with parents to create sustainable behavioral changes. The results of this study provide important implications that include theoretical and practical aspects in the realm of educational management. Theoretically, this study emphasizes that the success of student character development is not sufficient to rely only on formal regulations, it requires a managerial approach that is humanistic, emotional, and spiritual.

Abstract

This study aims to explore educational values ​​in the Quran, Quranic learning methods, and their relevance to modern learning theories. Using a descriptive qualitative approach based on literature review, this article analyzes Quranic verses related to educational concepts, such as Surah Al-Baqarah, Surah Ali Imran, Surah Yusuf, Surah An-Nahl, and Surah Al-Mulk, as well as interpretations by scholars such as M. Quraish Shihab, Jalaluddin Al-Mahalli, and Ibn Kathir. The results show that the Quran offers a holistic learning method that includes parables, stories, targhīb-tarhīb, dialogue, role models, practical exercises, and advice. These methods align with modern learning theories, such as Behaviorism, Constructivism, and Experiential Learning. Another finding of this study is that the integration of technology in Islamic education can be achieved by considering Quranic values, such as lite racy, information validation, trustworthiness, and digital etiquette. Quranic education can address the challenges of the modern era by integrating intellectual, spiritual, moral, and social dimensions.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the planning and implementation of the Strategic Management of the Madrasah Principal in improving teacher performance at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Annuriyah Bontocini, Jeneponto Regency. The research findings indicate that the madrasah principal has successfully implemented strategic management principles regularly and gradually. This process involves three main stages: strategy formulation (internal-external analysis and setting measurable targets), strategy implementation (through comprehensive programs such as training, workshops, academic supervision, and work ethic development), and strategy evaluation and control (periodic monitoring). The implementation of this strategic management proved to bring positive and significant changes to teacher performance. The improvement in teacher performance is notably seen in pedagogical and professional competence, work discipline, initiative, and commitment. Teachers feel more directed and motivated, supported by open communication and clear work direction from the madrasah principal acting as a strategic leader. The madrasah principal plays an important role in aligning all resources with the madrasah's vision and mission and creating a positive work culture. Nevertheless, there are some constraints, such as limited budget, resources, execution time, and variations in individual teacher readiness/motivation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja pegawai dalam perspektif kepuasan masyarakat pada pelayanan administrasi kependudukan di Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil (Dukcapil) Mal Pelayanan Publik (MPP) Barru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi untuk memahami pengalaman dan persepsi masyarakat serta pegawai dalam proses pelayanan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model analisis interaktif yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja pegawai Dukcapil MPP Barru secara umum telah mencerminkan kualitas dan profesionalisme yang baik, ditunjukkan melalui ketelitian dalam verifikasi data, sikap ramah, koordinasi internal yang efektif, serta responsivitas terhadap kebutuhan dan keluhan masyarakat. Namun demikian, ketepatan waktu pelayanan masih menghadapi kendala akibat tingginya jumlah pemohon dan keterbatasan sistem jaringan yang terintegrasi secara nasional. Tindak lanjut evaluasi pelayanan dilakukan melalui respons cepat terhadap keluhan, peningkatan transparansi informasi, serta penguatan prosedur dan pengawasan pelayanan. Simpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja pegawai yang profesional, responsif, dan beretika berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kepuasan masyarakat terhadap pelayanan administrasi kependudukan di MPP Barru.
