Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of implementing AI in improving the quality of religious learning and students' moral achievement at madrasas. This research is driven by the challenge of increasing the effectiveness of in-depth religious learning, which requires a broad and contextual understanding, amidst the limited access to education. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach, involving observation and interviews with students and teachers, the results of which are then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman approach. The research findings show that the application of AI in religious learning can provide relevant and personalized materials, increase accessibility, and support flexible learning. In addition, positive reinforcement has been shown to increase students' self-confidence which contributes to increasing their participation and academic achievement. Emotional resilience supported by an empathetic approach from teachers has also been shown to increase students' mental resilience, help them cope with academic and social pressures, and play a role in achieving better morals. The contribution of this research is to provide insight into the importance of integrating AI, positive reinforcement, and emotional resilience in improving the quality of religious education and students' moral achievement, which can be used as a model for the development of religious education in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji kepemimpinan adaptif dalam Islam sebagai respons terhadap perubahan sosial di masyarakat multikultural, dengan fokus pada penerapan nilai-nilai Islam untuk menciptakan harmoni sosial. Tujuan utama penelitian adalah untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik kepemimpinan adaptif dalam Islam, memahami strategi pemimpin dalam membangun kepercayaan dan kolaborasi lintas kelompok, serta mengeksplorasi peran nilai-nilai Islam dalam mempengaruhi sikap dan perilaku pemimpin. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus di komunitas multikultural. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara mendalam dengan pemimpin komunitas dan tokoh lintas agama, observasi partisipatif pada kegiatan dialog antar agama, workshop sosial, dan kampanye toleransi, serta analisis dokumen terkait kebijakan dan program kerja komunitas. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola utama seperti keadilan, empati, kolaborasi, dan pemberdayaan kelompok marginal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan adaptif dalam Islam mengedepankan nilai-nilai keadilan, empati, dan kolaborasi untuk mengatasi tantangan keberagaman. Pemimpin Islam memanfaatkan dialog terbuka, mediasi konflik, dan kolaborasi lintas agama untuk menciptakan lingkungan inklusif, sementara nilai-nilai Islam seperti toleransi dan keadilan menjadi panduan utama dalam merumuskan kebijakan dan prakarsa. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman kepemimpinan adaptif dalam konteks Islam sebagai model untuk mengelola keberagaman di masyarakat multikultural.

Abstract

English is a subject which for some students is a difficult subject. There are several factors that cause this, whether from students, teachers or the learning environment. This condition must be addressed immediately so as not to disrupt student learning outcomes. In facing challenges to problems in learning in this class, the author applies a model Problem Based Learning by applying learning media from wordwall and quiziz to increase student learning motivation. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The impact of action on the implementation of learning steps was obtained from the results of a student survey carried out at the end of the lesson, showing that the learning that had been carried out felt enjoyable. By implementing innovative and fun learning, it encourages students to be active and creative, able to convey their thoughts and ideas both individually and in groups to achieve the expected learning goals

Abstract

This research aims to enhance students’ speaking skill using problem-based learning integrated with online game (word wall) and worksheet (office online). An observation was used to capture how students’ attitude during the teaching and learning process using problem-based learning integrated with word wall and office online. Students’ result of learning, particularly their speaking performance was also used to support the data. The data were then analyzed descriptively to know how students’ learning of speaking in the classroom. The result showed that through problem-based learning integrated with word wall and office online, students learnt comprehensively with others about how to ask for and give a response of telling time. During the teaching and learning process, students performed actively either in their own group or in front of the class.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate in depth the implementation of the quality management system in an effort to improve school accreditation while encouraging academic transformation. to what extent the implemented quality management system has been effective in optimizing the quality of education in the madrasah, especially in meeting higher national accreditation standards. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method to evaluate the implementation of the quality management system in improving accreditation and academic transformation. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation and documentation study. In-depth interviews provided insights into stakeholders' experiences, while observations enabled understanding of hands-on processes. Documentation helped analyze important documents, such as accreditation reports and strategic planning. Through a combination of these techniques, this study produced comprehensive findings for recommendations on improving the quality management system in schools. The results of this study show that the implementation of the Quality Management System at MA Al-Amiriyyah Banyuwangi still faces significant challenges. Firstly, although the policy is in place, its implementation has not been consistent, especially in assessment and evaluation. Secondly, stakeholder involvement is still limited, so more intense collaboration between internal and external parties is needed. Finally, the utilization of evaluation data to improve the quality of education is not yet optimal. To achieve higher accreditation and better academic transformation, it is necessary to improve the consistent implementation of the Quality Management System, wider stakeholder involvement, and more systematic utilization of evaluation data.

Abstract

Curriculum changes in Islamic higher education are a strategic step to answer global challenges and the needs of a growing society. This article examines the trend of curriculum changes that occur in the context of Islamic higher education and its impact on integrated quality management. Through a qualitative approach, this study analyzes various factors that drive curriculum changes, such as technological developments, globalization, and industrial needs. The results of the study show that an adaptive and responsive curriculum not only increases the relevance of education, but also contributes to improving the quality of teaching and learning. The positive impact of this change can be seen in improving academic performance, student engagement, and stakeholder satisfaction. In addition, integrated quality management applied in the curriculum change process is able to create a more effective and sustainable evaluation system. This research recommends the need for collaboration between various parties, including lecturers, students, and the community, to ensure that curriculum changes can be implemented optimally and contribute to improving the overall quality of Islamic higher education.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the role of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum in shaping students' morals and ethics in Junior High Schools (SMP). The background of this study focuses on the importance of integrating religious values in education for the development of students' character amidst the challenges of globalization and social change. The research method used is a qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques and curriculum document analysis. The results of the study indicate that the PAI curriculum significantly contributes to the formation of students' morals and ethics, with the integration of moral values in each PAI subject strengthening positive behavior and building students' character. The main contribution of this finding is to provide a basis for the development of a more effective PAI curriculum in facilitating the development of students' character and offering guidance for policy makers and educators in improving the quality of religious education in schools.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi implementasi sistem penjaminan mutu internal akademik yang efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan prestasi mahasiswa secara berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus untuk menganalisis implementasi manajemen penjaminan mutu internal akademik dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi mahasiswa di Darussalam Blokagung. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen, melibatkan berbagai pihak terkait. Analisis tematik digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi tema utama seperti efektivitas kebijakan mutu dan dampaknya. Validitas data dijaga dengan triangulasi untuk menghasilkan wawasan praktis dalam pengembangan sistem mutu akademik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Penjaminan mutu internal berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas pembelajaran, motivasi mahasiswa, dan keberhasilan akademik. Efektivitasnya terletak pada pengelolaan kurikulum terstruktur, evaluasi yang adil, dan pengawasan berkelanjutan, menciptakan lingkungan belajar kondusif. Transparansi evaluasi akademik membangun kepercayaan mahasiswa, memberikan umpan balik objektif, dan memotivasi mereka untuk berkembang. Selain itu, fasilitas modern seperti laboratorium, perpustakaan digital, dan teknologi memadai mendukung aktivitas akademik sekaligus meningkatkan motivasi. Kombinasi sistem mutu yang konsisten, evaluasi transparan, dan fasilitas modern menciptakan ekosistem akademik yang inovatif dan inklusif, menghasilkan lulusan kompeten dan pendidikan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka terhadap keterlibatan siswa, kreativitas guru, dan pengembangan keterampilan abad 21 di SDN 8 Sumberagung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus untuk mengeksplorasi perubahan dalam pembelajaran setelah implementasi kurikulum. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan temuan utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka berhasil meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa melalui pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari mereka, seperti eksperimen praktis dan diskusi kelompok. Selain itu, fleksibilitas kurikulum memberikan ruang bagi guru untuk lebih kreatif dalam merancang pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan bermakna, dengan mengintegrasikan aspek budaya lokal dan kebutuhan siswa. Pendekatan ini juga terbukti efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan abad 21 pada siswa, termasuk berpikir kritis, kolaborasi, dan komunikasi, melalui aktivitas kolaboratif yang menekankan pada pemecahan masalah nyata. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, meskipun menghadapi keterbatasan fasilitas, dapat menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih bermakna dan relevan, serta membekali siswa dengan keterampilan penting untuk masa depan. Hasil ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi kebijakan pendidikan untuk terus mendorong pembelajaran kontekstual yang fleksibel.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis proses evaluasi dan akreditasi di MA Tahfidz Al-Quran Al-Islami sebagai indikator mutu pendidikan, dengan menyoroti tantangan, dan dampaknya terhadap pengelolaan sekolah. Penelitian ini Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara observasi, dan Adapun analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis interaktif yang mencakup reduksi, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan karakter religius siswa menjadi keunggulan signifikan dalam proses akreditasi. Namun, keterbatasan fasilitas fisik menjadi hambatan utama dalam memenuhi standar yang lebih tinggi. Dampak akreditasi terlihat dalam peningkatan motivasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, meskipun tekanan administratif sering mengurangi fokus pada pembelajaran langsung. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan keseimbangan antara pemenuhan standar akreditasi dan prioritas pada pengajaran untuk menjaga mutu pendidikan. Dengan demikian, sekolah dapat meningkatkan kualitas secara berkelanjutan tanpa mengorbankan fokus utama pada pengembangan akademik dan karakter siswa.
