Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find a model of pesantren that survives in moderation of education and nationalism and analyze the role of pesantren in overcoming the humanitarian crisis in the era of disruption. This type of research is a case study with a qualitative approach. The results showed that as the largest pesantren in Banyuwangi Regency, Pesantren Darussalam Blokagung exemplifies its success in integrating religious and general education values in educational moderation, building a spirit of nationalism by actualizing a sense of love for the country, rejecting radical ideologies and opposing terrorism, and helping to realize pluralism in the context of security. Pesantren Darussalam Blokagung also plays an important role in multicultural education that teaches religious tolerance and moderation, mutual respect and appreciation in simplicity and independence. In addition, it also helps to overcome humanitarian crises by establishing the Darussalam Social Institute (LBD) which provides scholarships to underprivileged students, the Darussalam Counseling Center (DCC), a therapy center for mental problems and the provision of special dormitories in pesantren for students affected by humanitarian crises and social problems.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pola kepemimpinan transformasional kepala Madrasah Tsanawiyah al-Amiriyyah Blokagung serta upaya kepala Madrasah Tsanawiyah al-Amiriyyah Blokagung dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang dilaksanakan di Madrasah Tsanawiyah al-Amiriyyah Blokagung dimana dalam mengumpulkan informasi data yang bersumber dari kepala madrasah, dewan guru, karyawan, dan siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah al-Amiriyyah Blokagung. Untuk memperoleh data penulis melakukan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, keabsahan data, analisis data dilakukan dengan memfokuskan pada hal-hal yang menjadi pokok bahasan, kemudian dipahami data tersebut kemudian disajikan dan selanjutnya disimpulkan. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan mengadakan tringulasi data. Hasil dari penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pertama: sebagai pemimpin yang transformasiol yaitu kepala madrasah berperan dengan menerapkan empat dimensi kepemimpinan transformasional yakni: 1) Perilaku Idealized Influence, 2) Inspiration Motivation, 3) Intellectual Stimulation, 4) Individual Consideration. Kedua: Guru Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Amiriyyah Blokagung sudah memiliki beberapa indikator profesionalisme, Di samping itu guru di Madrasah Tsanawiyah al-Amiriyyah Blokagung juga mampu mengaplikasikan empat kompetensi untuk meningkatkan kinerjanya yakni: 1) kompetensi pedagogik, 2) kompetensi kepribadian, 3) kompetensi sosial, 4) kompetensi profesional

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yakni untuk menganalisis pendekatan kontemporer terhadap pendidikan terpadu di pesantren. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan teori milles dan hubarman meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pesantren Darussalam Blokagung Banyuwangi menerapkan sistem pendidikan terpadu yakni penggabungan antara sistem pendidikan salaf dan modern dengan menggunakan beberapa langkah yaitu: Penggunaan Teknologi Digital untuk Peningkatan Akses dan Kualitas Pendidikan melalui adanya BLK (Balai Latihan Kerja), Sistem Pembayaran terpadu menggunakan virtual account, saluran pengajian menggunakan TV diberbagai asrama; pendekatan multikultural dalam pengajaran dengan menerapkan kurikulum multikultural diantaranya terwujud pada kegiatan bahtsul masaail; dan Inovasi Metode Evaluasi Pendidikan dalam bentuk: program evaluasi pengajian kitab ihya’ dan tafsir melalui program LTIT (Lajnah Taftis Ihya’ dan Tafsir) dan juga pengadaan program Evaluasi Akhir Tahun (EAT).

Abstract

Tujuan dari studi ini yaitu untuk menganalisis peran kepemimpinan visioner dalam transformasi yang sedang berlangsung di Universitas Nurul Jadid (UNUJA) Paiton Probolinggo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan dan dokumen yang menguatkan. Adapun validasi datanya menggunakan triangulasi dan analisis datanya menggunakan interaktif tiga model milik Miles and Huberman yakni reduksi data, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkkan bahwa Kyai Abdul Hamid Wahid sebagai rektor Universitas Nurul Jadid (UNUJA) Paiton Probolinggo menerapkan kepemimpinan visioner dengan mengunakan 4 peran meliputi 1) penentu arah 2) pelatih dan pembimbing 3) agen perubahan 4) juru bicara. Kyai Abdul Hamid Wahid melakukan tranformasi kelembagaan dimulai dengan Visi dan misi, struktur organisasi, sytem keuangan, kultur kampus, sarana dan prasarana dengan sangat cepat, dengan menempatkan orang yang tepat pada posisi yang yang tepat, sehingga dapat mewujudkan output (lulusan) mahasiswa yang berkualitas, berkompoten dan daya saing global. dengan tidak harus melepas identitas sebagai pendidikan Islam berwatak rabbani dan untuk menjadi perguruan tinggi Islam yang unggul dan dikenal dunia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the nature of leadership in building competitive advantages in Madrasah Diniyyah Educational Institutions with the aim of winning competition between institutions. The research location was conducted at the Madrasah Diniyyah Al Amiriyyah Blokagung Banyuwangi educational institution. A qualitative case study approach was used to uncover the phenomena that occurred in the field. Interviews, observations and documentation were used as media to collect data. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the institution uses nature leadership in building competitive advantages through precise and effective strategies. Strengthening commitment, work ethic, vertical efforts and strengthening partnerships are effective strategies for leaders in leading their organizations. This study provides implications about the importance of competence, skills and other complementary aspects that must be possessed by a leader in managing their organization in order to be the best of several competitors.

Abstract

Lembaga Pendidikan pada umumnya menjadikan strategi branding sebagai Teknik dalam pemasaran, seperti halnya Lembaga satuan Pendidikan muadalah di pesatren Darussalam blokagung. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis strategi membangun branding image. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan oleh peneliti diantaranya observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan teori milles dan hubarman meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dalam penelitian ini dalam membangun strategi branding image di satuan Pendidikan muadalah Pesatren Darussalam Blokagung menggunakan kurikulum berbasis kitab kuning,metode pembelajaran model syawir dan  tugas akhir berupa karya ilmiah selain itu terdapat adanya program akselerasi dalam kenaikan taraf Pendidikan.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of an emotional intelligence-based mentoring program in developing teaching skills, collaboration, and academic careers of young lecturers at KH. Mukhtar Syafaat University, Banyuwangi. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis involved data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, with triangulation for validity. The findings show that the emotional intelligence-based mentoring program effectively supports the professional growth of young lecturers. The program focuses on empathy, self-awareness, and social skills, which enhance teaching, academic communication, and adaptation to institutional dynamics. Positive mentor-mentee interactions foster an environment conducive to personal and professional development. Additionally, the program successfully cultivated a culture of mutual support through continuous mentoring, including collaborations in author programs, research, Community Service (PKM), and Lecturer Performance Reports (LKD). However, challenges such as time limitations and generational experience gaps persist, offering valuable feedback for future improvements to the program.

Abstract

In the digital era, SIMPT is expected to improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability in managing educational data and information. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness and complexity of the implementation of the Integrated Education Management Information System (SIMPT) in educational institutions, especially in SMP Plus Darussalam. This study uses a qualitative approach with observation methods and in-depth interviews with stakeholders, such as principals, administrative staff, and teachers who use the system. This study will analyze: Improving Administrative Efficiency and Decision Making, Positive Impact on Learning and Communication Quality, Importance of User Training and Support, and Influence of Leadership and Organizational Culture. The results of the study indicate that SIMPT has great potential in supporting school administration processes more efficiently, reducing data duplication, and accelerating the flow of information. However, its implementation is not without challenges. Some of the main obstacles found include limited technological infrastructure, such as unstable internet networks, low digital literacy of some users, and resistance to changing manual to digital systems. In addition, the need for ongoing training for system users is also an important factor in supporting successful implementation. Therefore, a strategy is needed to strengthen user capacity, policy support, and improve infrastructure to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of SIMPT in the long term.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to find an pesantren model that is resilient in the transformation of humanistic educational institutions and to analyze pesantren innovation in its mutual development to realize futuristic education. Using a qualitative research approach with a case study type, primary and secondary research data sources, data collection techniques using in-depht interviews, participant observation and documentation, data validity checking techniques using triangulation and data analyze using tree interactive models. The result of the research show thst the Pesantren Darussalam Blokagung is  model pesantren in Banyuwangi distric wich able to maintain diniyah education as a fearless pesantrenthe midst of its efforts to carry out institutional transformation that still considers humanism with independence, tolerance and high moral education in curriculum integration according to the need of service users and graduate users through early education, muadalah and ma’had aly. Pesantren Darussalam Blokagung also innovates in futuristic educational activities through  the motto that the pesantren is market to meet all the needs of society by providing education from early childhood to tertiary education,  all of which is quality oriented, as evidenced by the achievement of its accreditation rankng  and the graph of the number of students which continuous to increase, showing the high level of public trust, as Juran’s concept  of continuous quality improvement with a trilogy of planning, controlling and improving quality, coaching of education politic, so that Pesantren Darussalam Blokagung is currently recognized as the largest pesantren in Banyuwangi district is an anti thesis to the opinion of some people who say that pesantren are educational institutions that are not future oriented, outdated because not innovative.

Abstract

Abstract The rapid development of digital technology requires educational institutions to adapt quickly, including in the management of Human Resources (HR). SMP Plus Darussalam faces challenges in the form of low teacher productivity, high levels of work stress, and lack of adaptation to technology. To overcome this, the school applies a neuroscience-based leadership approach (neuroleadership) as a strategy to strengthen Human Resources (HR) management. This study aims to analyze the application of neuroleadership in increasing Human Resources (HR) productivity in the digital era, using a qualitative approach through a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model and triangulation of sources and methods. The results of the study indicate that the school designed a neuroscience-based Human Resources (HR) development policy, including training for principals and teachers on emotional regulation, social relationships, and stress management. The principal applies a leadership strategy that supports work autonomy, empathetic communication, and a positive work atmosphere. Teachers experience increased productivity, creativity, and engagement in technological innovation. This study provides theoretical and practical contributions to the development of neuroscience-based leadership that is relevant to educational and modern organizations. Keywords: Neuroleadership, Brain Strategy, Human Resources, Digital Era Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi digital yang pesat menuntut lembaga pendidikan untuk beradaptasi secara cepat, termasuk dalam pengelolaan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM). SMP Plus Darussalam menghadapi tantangan berupa rendahnya produktivitas guru, tingginya tingkat stres kerja, dan kurangnya adaptasi terhadap teknologi. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, sekolah menerapkan pendekatan kepemimpinan berbasis neurosains (neuroleadership) sebagai strategi penguatan manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan neuroleadership dalam meningkatkan produktivitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) di era digital, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis dengan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman dan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekolah merancang kebijakan pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) berbasis neurosains, termasuk pelatihan kepala sekolah dan guru mengenai regulasi emosi, hubungan sosial, dan manajemen stres. Kepala sekolah menerapkan strategi kepemimpinan yang mendukung otonomi kerja, komunikasi empatik, dan suasana kerja yang positif. Guru mengalami peningkatan produktivitas, kreativitas, dan keterlibatan terhadap inovasi teknologi. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoritis dan praktis dalam pengembangan kepemimpinan berbasis neurosains yang relevan untuk organisasi pendidikan dan modern.
