Abstract

This study aims to provide solutions for Islamic education in addressing the transformation of pesantren in the digital era by exploring collaborative approaches to building a balanced digital pesantren, where technology integration is carried out without sacrificing Islamic values. This research design uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The source of informants of this research is the caregivers and students of Mabadiul Ihsan, which is to explore their role in supporting the transformation of pesantren in the digital era. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observations, and document studies to provide a comprehensive and in-depth understanding in the research of Pesantren Transformation in the Digital Age Solutions and Threats for Islamic Education. The data analysis technique in this study uses Miles and Huberman, this analysis process involves three main stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. digital technology allows the adoption of modern learning methods, such as blended learning and distance learning, thereby increasing access and effectiveness of education. However, this change also presents challenges in the form of reduced direct interaction and the need to strengthen character education to maintain the traditional values of pesantren. Keywords: Pesantren Transformation; Digital Era; Islamic Education; Digital Technology; Islamic Values.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi bagi pendidikan Islam dalam menyikapi transformasi pesantren di era digital, dengan mengeksplorasi pendekatan kolaboratif untuk membangun pesantren digital yang berimbang, di mana integrasi teknologi dilakukan tanpa mengorbankan nilai-nilai Islam. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Sumber informan penelitian ini adalah pengasuh dan santri Mabadiul Ihsan, yaitu untuk mengeksplorasi peran mereka dalam mendukung transformasi pesantren di era digital. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen untuk memberikan pemahaman yang komprehensif dan mendalam dalam penelitian transformasi pesantren di era digital solusi dan ancaman bagi pendidikan Islam. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Miles dan Huberman, proses analisis ini melibatkan tiga tahap utama, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Teknologi digital memungkinkan diadopsinya metode pembelajaran modern, seperti blended learning dan distance learning, sehingga meningkatkan akses dan efektivitas pendidikan. Namun perubahan ini juga menghadirkan tantangan berupa berkurangnya interaksi langsung dan perlunya penguatan pendidikan karakter untuk mempertahankan nilai-nilai tradisional pesantren. Abstract

This study examines the transformation of organizational culture in pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) in response to the challenges and opportunities of the digital era. It explores how pesantren can become centers of innovation while preserving traditional values. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research gathered data through interviews, observations, and documentation from pesantren leaders, administrators, teaching staff, and students. The data were analyzed using an interactive model, including data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that visionary and inclusive leadership plays a crucial role in driving innovation within pesantren, despite facing internal resistance to change. Pesantren that manage the process of change effectively demonstrate the potential to become hubs of innovation by integrating digital technology with traditional Islamic education. These pesantren preserve their core values while adopting new tools and approaches to enhance learning and administration. The study concludes that pesantren can thrive in the digital era by strategically managing cultural transformation, fostering innovation, and staying true to their educational mission. The results suggest that pesantren leaders must prioritize flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability to create an environment conducive to innovation and digital transformation. Abstrak Penelitian ini mengkaji transformasi budaya organisasi di pesantren sebagai jawaban terhadap tantangan dan peluang di era digital. Guna mengeksplorasi bagaimana pesantren dapat menjadi pusat inovasi dengan tetap melestarikan nilai-nilai tradisional. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dari pimpinan pesantren, pengurus, staf pengajar, dan santri. Analisis data dilakukan dengan model interaktif yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan ini mengungkapkan bahwa kepemimpinan visioner dan inklusif memainkan peran penting dalam mendorong inovasi di pesantren, meski menghadapi hambatan internal terhadap perubahan. Pesantren yang mengelola proses perubahan secara efektif menunjukkan potensi untuk menjadi pusat inovasi dengan mengintegrasikan teknologi digital dengan pendidikan Islam tradisional. Pesantren-pesantren ini melestarikan nilai-nilai inti mereka sambil mengadopsi alat dan pendekatan baru untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran dan administrasi. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa pesantren dapat berkembang di era digital dengan mengelola transformasi budaya secara strategis, mendorong inovasi, dan tetap setia pada misi pendidikannya. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pimpinan pesantren harus memprioritaskan fleksibilitas, kolaborasi, dan kemampuan beradaptasi untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif bagi inovasi dan transformasi digital. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi pengembangan sumber daya manusia dan menemukan strategi yang tepat diterapkan dalam inovasi pendidikan di Pesantren Darussalam Blokagung. Pendekatan yang digunakan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan datanya wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisisnya menggunakan interaktif 3 model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi pengembangan sumber daya manusia di Pesantren Darussalam Blokagung dilakukan oleh pimpinan melalui beberapa kegiatan yaitu: melakukan perencanaan pegwai yang tepat melalui rekrutmen dan seleksi sekaligus penempatan sesuai bidang keahlian, pembinaan pada pegawai baru untuk mengenalkan budaya organisasi dan Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) pekerjaan, pelatihan sesuai bidang keahlian pegawai untuk meningkatkan kompetensinya serta pelatihan di luar bidang keahliannya untuk memberdayakan pegawai, merekomendasikan studi lanjut untuk peningkatan mutu sumber daya pegawai yang berlaku kepada seluruh pegawai. Abstract

This research aims to analyze and understand financial management in fulfilling Islamic boarding school-based campus education facilities at KH University. Mukhtar Syafaat Blokagung Banyuwangi. This research uses a qualitative case study type approach. The data collection technique uses in-depth interviews, participant observation and corroborating documents. The data validation uses triangulation and data analysis uses Miles and Huberman's three interactive models, namely data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The research results show that financial management innovation at KH University. Mukhtar Syafaat consists of; 1) Integrated Syahriyah 2) SIS as a payment information application. 3) Payments using financial digitalization, namely BRI virtual account (BRIVA). 4) Cashless as a non-cash transaction tool. Payment transparency at KH University. Mukhtar Syafaat can be tracked and accessed. Budget transformation at KH University. Mukhtar Intercession; 1) Budget evaluation every 2 years. 2) Increase the budget according to needs. Strategy for fulfilling educational facilities at KH University. Abstract

This study aims to identify an effective model of pesantren leadership in strengthening unity and creating social welfare through the integration of traditional pesantren values, such as ukhuwah Islamiyah and mutual cooperation, with a modern approach based on technology and crisis management. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection techniques used include in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies, with informants consisting of pesantren caretakers, administrators, senior students, and local community leaders. Data analysis was carried out using Miles and Huberman's interactive TIGA model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that leadership at the Darussalam Blokagung Islamic Boarding School plays a strategic role in maintaining religious, moral, and social values amidst increasingly complex social challenges. Leadership based on the values of togetherness, mutual cooperation, and inclusiveness has proven effective in building solidarity and social resilience in the pesantren community. The pesantren has also succeeded in integrating traditional values with modern strategies, including the use of technology and economic empowerment programs, to create sustainable welfare. Thus, the leadership in this Islamic boarding school can be a relevant model in overcoming social emergencies and building harmony in the contemporary era.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi model kepemimpinan pesantren yang efektif dalam memperkuat persatuan dan menciptakan kesejahteraan sosial melalui integrasi nilai-nilai tradisional pesantren, seperti ukhuwah Islamiyah dan gotong-royong, dengan pendekatan modern berbasis teknologi dan manajemen krisis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi, dengan informan yang terdiri dari pengasuh pesantren, pengurus, santri senior, dan tokoh masyarakat sekitar. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan interaktif TIGA model miliknya Miles dan Huberman, yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan di Pesantren Darussalam Blokagung memainkan peran strategis dalam menjaga nilai-nilai agama, moral, dan sosial di tengah tantangan sosial yang semakin kompleks. Kepemimpinan berbasis nilai kebersamaan, gotong-royong, dan inklusivitas terbukti efektif dalam membangun solidaritas dan resiliensi sosial di komunitas pesantren. Pesantren juga berhasil mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai tradisional dengan strategi modern, termasuk pemanfaatan teknologi dan program pemberdayaan ekonomi, untuk menciptakan kesejahteraan berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, kepemimpinan di pesantren ini dapat menjadi model yang relevan dalam mengatasi darurat sosial dan membangun harmoni di era kontemporer.

Abstract

Social media plays an important role in student learning, offering a range of opportunities to access information in a fast and engaging way. However, uncontrolled use also presents challenges that can affect learning. This research aims to analyze the influence of social media on current students' learning styles, highlighting the opportunities that can be leveraged to support the learning process as well as the challenges that need to be overcome to minimize its negative impact. The research was conducted at Nahdlatul Ulama Sudirman Vocational High School. This research used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis, and involved students, teachers, and the principal as the main participants. The results show that social media provides significant benefits in supporting independent learning, expanding access to information, and facilitating collaboration between students. However, distraction from irrelevant content is the main obstacle that affects learning focus. The implication of this study emphasizes the importance of digital literacy, time management, and guidance from teachers to optimize the use of social media as a learning tool. This research provides insights for educators in designing learning strategies that are relevant to students' needs in the digital era.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find a model of pesantren that survives in moderation of education and nationalism and analyze the role of pesantren in overcoming the humanitarian crisis in the era of disruption. This type of research is a case study with a qualitative approach. The results showed that as the largest pesantren in Banyuwangi Regency, Pesantren Darussalam Blokagung exemplifies its success in integrating religious and general education values in educational moderation, building a spirit of nationalism by actualizing a sense of love for the country, rejecting radical ideologies and opposing terrorism, and helping to realize pluralism in the context of security. Pesantren Darussalam Blokagung also plays an important role in multicultural education that teaches religious tolerance and moderation, mutual respect and appreciation in simplicity and independence. In addition, it also helps to overcome humanitarian crises by establishing the Darussalam Social Institute (LBD) which provides scholarships to underprivileged students, the Darussalam Counseling Center (DCC), a therapy center for mental problems and the provision of special dormitories in pesantren for students affected by humanitarian crises and social problems.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the rapid development of science and technology in the current era of modernization which has a great influence on various areas of community life, especially in the fields of education, social, and culture, including in Islamic boarding school education. With a focus on knowing the implementation of Islamic boarding school-based madrasah management and to find out the development of students. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. The data collection techniques are interview, observation and documentation methods. The results of this study indicate that the Implementation of Islamic Boarding School-Based Madrasah Management that is applied has an impact on the activities of students at Ma'had whose concept is directed to carry out activities related to Islamic boarding school education and curriculum, the development given to students is given with various methods, namely through approaches and motivation, accompanied by three development indicators, namely, attendance level, ability and encouragement.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pola kepemimpinan transformasional kepala Madrasah Tsanawiyah al-Amiriyyah Blokagung serta upaya kepala Madrasah Tsanawiyah al-Amiriyyah Blokagung dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang dilaksanakan di Madrasah Tsanawiyah al-Amiriyyah Blokagung dimana dalam mengumpulkan informasi data yang bersumber dari kepala madrasah, dewan guru, karyawan, dan siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah al-Amiriyyah Blokagung. Untuk memperoleh data penulis melakukan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, keabsahan data, analisis data dilakukan dengan memfokuskan pada hal-hal yang menjadi pokok bahasan, kemudian dipahami data tersebut kemudian disajikan dan selanjutnya disimpulkan. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan mengadakan tringulasi data. Hasil dari penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pertama: sebagai pemimpin yang transformasiol yaitu kepala madrasah berperan dengan menerapkan empat dimensi kepemimpinan transformasional yakni: 1) Perilaku Idealized Influence, 2) Inspiration Motivation, 3) Intellectual Stimulation, 4) Individual Consideration. Kedua: Guru Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Amiriyyah Blokagung sudah memiliki beberapa indikator profesionalisme, Di samping itu guru di Madrasah Tsanawiyah al-Amiriyyah Blokagung juga mampu mengaplikasikan empat kompetensi untuk meningkatkan kinerjanya yakni: 1) kompetensi pedagogik, 2) kompetensi kepribadian, 3) kompetensi sosial, 4) kompetensi profesional

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yakni untuk menganalisis pendekatan kontemporer terhadap pendidikan terpadu di pesantren. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan teori milles dan hubarman meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pesantren Darussalam Blokagung Banyuwangi menerapkan sistem pendidikan terpadu yakni penggabungan antara sistem pendidikan salaf dan modern dengan menggunakan beberapa langkah yaitu: Penggunaan Teknologi Digital untuk Peningkatan Akses dan Kualitas Pendidikan melalui adanya BLK (Balai Latihan Kerja), Sistem Pembayaran terpadu menggunakan virtual account, saluran pengajian menggunakan TV diberbagai asrama; pendekatan multikultural dalam pengajaran dengan menerapkan kurikulum multikultural diantaranya terwujud pada kegiatan bahtsul masaail; dan Inovasi Metode Evaluasi Pendidikan dalam bentuk: program evaluasi pengajian kitab ihya’ dan tafsir melalui program LTIT (Lajnah Taftis Ihya’ dan Tafsir) dan juga pengadaan program Evaluasi Akhir Tahun (EAT).
