Abstract

The quality of education in schools is a major concern in efforts to build superior human resources. However, in practice, various obstacles are often encountered that hinder the achievement of these goals. Some teachers may have good academic knowledge but lack effective teaching methods. Therefore, professional training and development programs for teachers must be improved so that they can provide more interesting and effective learning for students. Lack of Accurate Data: Often, data on teacher needs is inaccurate or not well integrated. This causes difficulties in making proper planning. Qualitative research methods are an approach that aims to explore the meaning and deep understanding of a phenomenon. This study uses a case study design which is one form of qualitative research that focuses on in-depth investigation of a particular unit of analysis, such as individuals, groups, organizations, or events. The results of this study indicate that Data serves as an important basis for planning teacher needs effectively. Through data analysis, we can identify specific teacher shortages, uneven distribution of teachers across regions, and gaps in teacher qualifications. Ultimately, data-based planning ensures that every student has access to qualified teachers and high-quality education.

Abstract

Environmental design management is one of the management concepts that PAUD educational institutions believe is crucial and should be taught to students. environmental design for both indoor and outdoor spaces. This demonstrates that the early years of education are the golden era since brain development happens so quickly throughout this time. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of PAUD Darussalam Blokagung Banyuwangi's environmental design activities and management process. This type of research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Research findings show that the early childhood education activity program at PAUD Darussalam Blokagung has an effective environmental design management system for all stages of planning, organizing, implementing and assessing. Meanwhile, the form of environmental design management consists of an indoor learning environment and an outdoor learning environment. The indoor environment consists of a study room, office and toilet. Meanwhile, in the outdoor environment, educators not only teach students through pictures and narratives, but also teach verbally to the views of the surrounding environment.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find a model of literacy reading values in shaping the moderation of digital era education at the Pesantren Darussalam Blokagung. Using a qualitative approach with a case study type and a post-positivistic paradigm. The data collection technique is in-depth interviews. Participant observation and documentation. The data validity checking technique uses triangulation and data analysis uses three interactive models. It was found that the model of literacy recitation values at the Pesantren Darussalam Blokagung is patterned on the salaf as-shalih concept, namely al-muhaafadhatu alal-qadimiis-shalih wal-akhdu bil-jadiidil-ashlah, the substance of which is adaptive, innovative and competitive, meaning a new media for literacy recitation of the Koran. assessment-based perfecting the study method that is commonly used. Abstract

This study aims to provide a deeper understanding of about how ethical leadership in Islamic education management in madrasah. The method in this study uses qualitative methods at MTs Al Amiriyyah Blokagung Banyuwangi. This research design uses qualitative research with a case study approach. Qualitative research with a case study approach. The sources of information in the research are the Principal, Teachers and Students. This data collection technique uses observation, interviews, and documentation. This data analysis uses data collection data collection, data reduction and categorization, data appearance and conclusion drawing. The results in this study that the transformation of ethical leadership in Islamic education management in madrasah through the Development of Work Ethic and Professionalism of Teachers, Development of Social and Emotional Skills of Students and Improvement of Madrasah Image and Reputation. development of work ethic and professionalism of teachers with Commitment to Duty, Teaching Quality, Self-Development, Discipline and Work Ethics, Involvement in the School Community, Self Evaluation and Reflection, Cooperation and Collaboration, and Adaptability and Innovation.  The development of social and emotional skills is realized through extracurricular programs. Improving the image and reputation of a madrasah is key in attracting prospective students, gaining community support, and building strong trust.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of women in the revitalization of Islamic boarding schools, especially in strengthening spiritual values, inclusivity, and community development at the Darussalam Blokagung Islamic Boarding School. This topic was chosen because women's leadership is considered strategic in supporting the transformation of Islamic education. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach, involving observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that women's leadership plays an important role in creating an environment that supports the strengthening of the morals and spirituality of students through an empathetic approach and role models. Women also lead inclusive programs such as skills training and social empowerment, which involve the surrounding community. Social challenges related to traditional norms were successfully overcome through the success of these programs, which strengthened community acceptance of women's leadership. This study contributes to the development of Islamic education strategies that are relevant to the needs of the times. The findings indicate that women's leadership not only enriches spiritual education but also builds an inclusive and sustainable Islamic boarding school community.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis akar perdebatan antara konservatisme tradisional dan tuntutan globalisasi edukasi dalam pendidikan Islam. Pendekatan  yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data model milles dan Hubarman meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adaptasi pendidikan karakter yang dilakukan oleh Satuan Pendidikan Muadalah Ulya Blokagung Banyuwangi menjadi  kontroversi antara menjaga pendidikan tradisional dan tuntutan global dalam lembaga pendidikan khas pesantren tersebut, kemudian integrasi nilai Islam dan ilmu pengetahuan modern menghasilkan prinsip-prinsip etika, moral, dan spiritual yang diajarkan di lembaga inI dengan metode ilmiah kontemporer; dan Penerapan metode pembelajaran inovatif dalam manajemen kurikulum pendidikan Islam “Muadalah” dengan mempertahankan konservatisme tradisional dan menyesuaikan diri dengan tuntutan globalisasi edukasi untuk mencapai pendidikan yang lebih komprehensif dan relevan. Selain itu, kontroversi dalam manajemen kurikulum pendidikan Islam di era globalisasi menjadi sebuah isu kompleks yang ditangkap oleh pimpinan lembaga ini dengan melakukan kajian mendalam dan menghasilkan solusi yang komprehensif melalui branding muadalah sebagai pendidikan khas pesantren yang semakin diminati. Oleh kaena itulah, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi yang berarti dalam memahami dan mengatasi kontroversi tersebut, sehingga dapat tercipta sistem pendidikan Islam yang berkualitas, kontekstual, dan mampu mempersiapkan peserta didik menghadapi tantangan globalisasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penjaminan mutu terpadu terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dan reputasi melalui akreditasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus, melibatkan wawancara, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penerapan penjaminan mutu terpadu berkontribusi signifikan terhadap akreditasi yang lebih baik, peningkatan kepuasan mahasiswa, serta hasil akademis yang positif. Selain itu, penerapan standar kualitas yang jelas dapat membangun citra positif dan meningkatkan kepercayaan publik. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa akreditasi yang transparan dan responsif terhadap umpan balik dari pemangku kepentingan memperkuat reputasi institusi. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi penjaminan mutu dalam strategi pendidikan untuk memperkuat identitas dan daya saing di era globalisasi. Rekomendasi diberikan untuk penerapan praktik terbaik dalam penjaminan mutu pendidikan, sehingga institusi dapat mencapai keunggulan dan relevansi yang lebih besar di masyarakat.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to design and implement a holistic and sustainable education strategy to improve the quality of learning, student achievement and school competitiveness in facing global challenges. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive design to explore the factors that influence the quality of education at SMPN 3 Rogojampi. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation and document analysis involving teachers, students, principals, parents and the community. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques, involving reduction, presentation and conclusion drawing. Triangulation of sources, methods and time was used to ensure data validity. This research aims to provide a comprehensive picture and strategic recommendations for improving education quality. The results of this study show that improving teachers' competencies, synergy between schools, parents and communities and the integration of character education in the curriculum are the main factors in improving the quality of education at SMPN 3 Rogojampi. Training and workshops for teachers improve the quality of learning with innovative and interesting methods that encourage student motivation. Active collaboration between the school, parents and the community strengthens support for student development. The integration of character education instills moral values that help students not only succeed academically, but also form resilient characters. All these efforts create a conducive and effective learning environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara Total Quality Management (TQM) dan kepuasan siswa di Madrasa Aliyyah Al-Amiriyyah Blokagung, Banyuwangi. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dalam studi ini dengan metode survei terhadap 150 siswa sebagai responden. Variabel TQM mencakup komitmen manajemen, keterlibatan staf, fokus pada siswa, perbaikan berkelanjutan, dan pengukuran kinerja. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linier untuk mengukur pengaruh TQM terhadap tingkat kepuasan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi TQM secara signifikan berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kepuasan siswa. Fokus pada siswa dan perbaikan berkelanjutan menjadi aspek yang paling berpengaruh. Temuan ini mengindikasikan pentingnya penerapan TQM yang terintegrasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan pendidikan dan kepuasan siswa di lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi pengelola madrasa dalam mengembangkan strategi peningkatan mutu pendidikan berbasis TQM.

Abstract

This research focuses on the role of ethical leadership in creating a positive school culture and facing challenges in the Islamic educational environment, especially in madrasas. This study aims to identify and analyze the leadership strategies used by school principals in applying ethical values as part of a leadership strategy to increase motivation, solve problems, and shape student character. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach in MAN 2 Banyuwangi. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation with key informants consisting of principals, teachers, and quality control teams. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing validated by triangulation techniques. The results of the study show that school principals who apply ethical leadership through example, an inclusive approach in problem-solving, and the formation of a collaborative culture are able to create a harmonious school climate and support the development of students' character. The implications of this study highlight that ethical leadership plays an important role in facing the pressures of globalization and maintaining moral values in the Islamic educational environment. This research makes a practical contribution by providing guidance for school principals and other Islamic education leaders in implementing ethical leadership that not only focuses on academic achievement but also the formation of strong moral character among students.
