Abstract

The education sector is currently entering an era of modernization, marked by numerous innovations in the learning process. One aspect of modernization in education is the emergence of various types of media used throughout the learning process. From the meeting mechanisms, lesson planning, to the learning materials—everything can now be facilitated by media and technology. This study aims to develop a series of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning applications for vocational schools, specifically at SMK Negeri 2 Sebulu. It focuses on the development of Android-based learning media for Islamic Religious Education in vocational high schools and evaluates its feasibility for use. The research method is based on product development using the Borg and Gall model. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The data collected from the questionnaires were analyzed by converting the average score results into percentages. The main subjects in this study were 10th-grade students of SMK Negeri 2 Sebulu. The research findings, based on data validation results, show that media experts provided scores of 87% and 80%, both indicating that the media is feasible for use. Meanwhile, the material evaluation received a score of 86%, also indicating that the media is suitable for use in the Islamic Religious Education learning process.

Abstract

Pemindahan ibu kota negeri merupakan upaya untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan akses pendidikan yang berkualitas. Salah satu lembaga pendidikan yang harus mendapat perhatian secara khusus adalah lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini. Lembaga ini memiliki peran penting dalam menempatkan nilai-nilai dasar karakter peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini harus memiliki kompetensi yang dibutuhkan untuk mewujudkan sekolah yang berkualitas. Dinamika di lapangan menujukkan bahwa sebagian besar guru belum memahami pentingnya karya ilmiah untuk mendukung kompetensi diri, rendahnya motivasi dan belum memiliki kemampuan untuk menulis karya ilmiah. Maka perlunya kegiatan pendampingan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru. melalui pendampingan penulisan karya ilmiah. Kegiatan ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Parsipatif. Metode pendampingan dilakukan dengan ceramah, diskusi dan praktik. Hasil pendampingan menunjukkan para peserta memahami pentingnya karya ilmiah, memiliki motivasi yang tinggi untuk menulis karya ilmiah. Peserta mampu menulis dan mengirimkan artikel.

Abstract

Abstract: The era of globalization, accompanied by advancements in information technology, the dominance of popular culture, and the massive use of social media, has reshaped how young people perceive religion. This article aims to analyze the impact of modernity and globalization on the religiosity of young generations and describe the urgency of the sociocultural approach in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) as a response to contemporary challenges. This research adopts a qualitative method with a literature review approach, utilizing scientific sources such as journals, books, and relevant academic articles. The findings show that modernity and social media have fostered individual spiritual expressions, weakened the authority of religious leaders, and resulted in partial and textual religious understanding. These developments highlight the need for a new approach in PAI that is not only normative but also contextual and communicative. The sociocultural approach views religion as a dynamic social phenomenon, allowing students to understand Islam within the social and cultural realities they face. Historically, this approach has proven effective in spreading Islam in Indonesia, as seen in the methods used by early Islamic scholars who integrated local cultural elements into their teachings. In education, this approach significantly contributes to enriching PAI materials to be more relevant to social realities and more effective in instilling values of tolerance, empathy, and social awareness. Therefore, integrating the sociocultural approach into PAI is a c rucial strategy to shape a generation of Muslims who are faithful, adaptive, and actively involved in building a harmonious multicultural society.Keywords: Cultural Sociology, Modernity, PAI, Pluralism.Abstrak: Era globalisasi yang diiringi oleh kemajuan teknologi informasi, dominasi budaya populer, dan penggunaan media sosial secara masif telah membentuk cara pandang baru terhadap agama di kalangan generasi muda. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak dari modernitas dan globalisasi terhadap keberagamaan generasi muda, serta mendeskripsikan urgensi pendekatan sosiologis budaya dalam pendidikan agama Islam (PAI) sebagai respons terhadap tantangan zaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka, memanfaatkan literatur ilmiah seperti jurnal, buku, dan artikel terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modernitas dan media sosial telah melahirkan fenomena spiritualitas individual, pelemahan otoritas tokoh agama, serta pemahaman agama yang cenderung parsial dan tekstual. Hal ini menunjukkan perlunya pendekatan baru dalam PAI yang tidak sekadar normatif, tetapi juga kontekstual dan komunikatif. Pendekatan sosiologis budaya memandang agama sebagai fenomena sosial yang dinamis, memungkinkan peserta didik memahami Islam dalam konteks sosial dan budaya yang mereka alami. Historisnya, pendekatan ini telah terbukti efektif dalam penyebaran Islam di Indonesia, seperti yang dilakukan oleh para wali dengan mengintegrasikan budaya lokal dalam dakwah. Dalam konteks pendidikan, pendekatan ini memberi kontribusi besar dalam memperkaya materi PAI agar lebih relevan dengan realitas sosial dan lebih efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai toleransi, empati, dan kesadaran sosial. Oleh karena itu, integrasi pendekatan sosiologis budaya dalam PAI menjadi strategi penting untuk membentuk generasi muslim yang beriman, adaptif, dan aktif dalam membangun masyarakat multikultural yang harmonis.Kata Kunci: Modernitas, PAI, Plurarisme, Sosiologis Budaya.

Abstract

Gratitude is teaching about morality that concerns all aspects of human life. This study aims to determine the spiritual values of gratitude in the Qur'an in relation to character in Islamic education. Through a subjective-cum-objective hermeneutic approach, the research results show that gratitude contains several character values that are needed in Islamic education. These character values include, amanah, qonā'ah, istiqāmah, tawāḍu', tawakal, optimistic, creative, hard work and social care. The results of this study indicate that gratitude is the main character that contains religious and social character values based on belief and faith in God. These character values are needed in achieving the goals of Islamic education.

Abstract

Akreditasi merupakan salah satu kewajiban bagi setiap penyelenggara satuan pendidikan, termasuk Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. Rendahnya animo beberapa satuan pendidikan dalam mengikuti proses akreditasi, kurangnya pemahaman tentang proses akreditasi dan instrumen akreditasi berpotensi menghambat pelaksanaan akreditasi. Tujuan pendampingan ini adalah untuk memfasilitasi satuan pendidikan agar memperoleh pengetahuan dan mampu mempraktikkan proses akreditasi mulai dari penyiapan dokumen sampai pada tahap pelaksanaan visitasi. Metode pendampingan yang dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research, dengan 5 tahapan yakni: to know, to understand, to plan, to act, to change. Pendampingan ini dilakukan terhadap 4 Kelompok Belajar (KB). Kegiatan pendampingan dilakukan dengan diskusi dan praktik dalam menyiapkan dan mengunggah dokumen akreditasi, serta persiapan visitasi. Hasil pendampingan menunjukkan asesi memiliki pemahaman yang baik tentang proses akreditasi, mulai dari tahap pra-visitasi sampai tahap visitasi. Kegiatan pendampingan ini berhasil membantu lembaga yang semula belum terakreditasi, setelah dilakukan pendampingan berubah statusnya menjadi terakreditasi B dan C.

Abstract

Kurangnya perhatian akan penanaman nilai-nilai agama pada anak usia dini membuat penurunan yang begitu signifikan akan nilai keagamaan dalam diri anak. Pondasi awal penguatan terhadap nilai-nilai agama pada anak ialah sejak anak masih kecil bahkan ketika anak berada dalam kandungan. Perkembangan agama dan moral erat kaitannya dengan budi pekerti seorang anak. Salah satu lembaga yang dapat mengembangkan nilai-nilai agama dalam diri anak ialah Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPQ). Kegiatan lomba keagamaan antar TPQ di Kota Samarinda diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kreativitas anak, memotivasi anak untuk selalu meningkatkan potensi yang dimiliki, dan sebagai sarana penanaman nilai-nilai agama islam bagi anak-anak di TPQ. Terdapat beberapa jenis perlombaan yaitu lomba adzan, mewarnai, da’i cilik, hafidz qur’an, cerdas cermat islam, serta kaligrafi yang diikuti oleh 91 peserta. Dengan adanya perlombaan antar TPQ, diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif serta motivasi bagi anak untuk mengaji dan mengikuti kegiatan keagamaan lainnya serta meningkatkan kecintaan anak-anak terhadap agama islam.

Abstract

Abstract: Public information disputes often pose challenges in realizing the principles of transparency and government accountability. This study analyzes the effectiveness of mediation as an alternative dispute resolution method at the Information Commission (KI) of East Kalimantan. Mediation was chosen as the focus of this research because it offers a more flexible, faster, and non-litigation approach compared to adjudication. The study employed a qualitative case study method, with data collected through in-depth interviews with KI Commissioners, mediators, and disputing parties (applicants and public bodies). Document analysis of dispute records and KI East Kalimantan annual reports was also conducted. The findings indicate that mediation at KI East Kalimantan is highly effective, with an average success rate of 75% per year over the past three years. Key success factors include: (1) mediator communication skills and neutrality, (2) willingness of parties to negotiate and reach agreements, and (3) a clear regulatory framework empowering KI to facilitate mediation. Nevertheless, challenges remain, such as limited understanding of mediation procedures among disputing parties and constrained human resources within KI East Kalimantan. Despite these challenges, mediation has proven effective in reducing costs, expediting dispute resolution, and preserving good relationships between parties. This study recommends enhancing public awareness of mediation procedures and strengthening mediator capacity to optimize the Information Commission’s role in promoting transparency in East Kalimantan.

Abstract

This study analyzes methods for instilling religious moderation values in public elementary schools to foster tolerance from an early age. Education can introduce students to values of diversity and inclusivity at a young age, as elementary schools serve as a strategic platform to cultivate an understanding of differences. Using a literature review method, data was collected from various relevant sources, including scholarly articles, books, and related documents discussing religious moderation education and tolerance attitudes. Data collection was conducted through literature searches in scientific databases and other credible sources using specific keywords to ensure the relevance of the gathered material. The data was then analyzed descriptively using a thematic analysis approach to identify key themes, such as the integration of religious moderation values into the elementary school curriculum, the role of teachers in guiding students to understand moderate values, the use of extracurricular activities to reinforce tolerance practices, and the creation of an inclusive and diversity-supporting school environment. The study's findings indicate that collaboration among schools, teachers, and parents plays a crucial role in shaping attitudes of tolerance and inclusivity through religious moderation education in elementary schools. The study concludes that instilling religious moderation values at the elementary level is a practical approach to fostering a more peaceful and harmonious society in the future.

Abstract

Early childhood is prime time, a very important time to provide the right stimulation to maximize growth and development, but there are still many teachers who ignore their parents. Age appropriate equipment is required. So that young children remain interested in learning, appropriate early childhood learning media are needed, one of which is interactive multimedia. This type of research is development research (R&D). The data collection method uses . Observations, interviews, documentation, LKA tests. Data analysis includes testing, interactive multimedia design with power points and percentages, efficacy, descriptive analysis. Findings: (1) interactive multimedia design in Early Childhood learning, (2) interactive multimedia is effective in pre-test evaluation as seen in the results, the learning process in the classroom achieved an average of 80% complete learning outcomes from 2.07 to 2.73 posttest, increased significantly from 2.73 to after the test, from a total of 50 respondents with a standard deviation of 0.799 before the test increased a standard deviation of 0.438.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the concept of personality gratitude in the development of Islamic education is described in the Quran. This research is included in the type of library research that uses qualitative data types. e main data source in this research is the Koranic verses that discuss gratitude. This study uses a subjective hermeneutic approach that emphasizes the interpreter's role in understanding and determining the meaning of the text about the verses of gratitude in Tafsr al-Misbah. According to the findings of the study, a grateful personality is synonymous with the term 'abdan syakuran. The term refers to a personality that always appreciates, recognizes, and uses God's grace in every situation. A person with a grateful personality has a noble character, which contains the character values of trustworthiness, qan'ah, tawadu', hard work, creativity, and prosocial actions. A grateful personality is needed to realize Islamic education's goals, namely the creation of religious and noble human beings. Therefore, we need the right strategy for instilling these values. The internalization of the gratitude personality in Islamic education can be carried out through several strategies, including tazkiyah, tazniyah, tadabburah, and tarabbutah.
