Abstract

Outing class-based contextual learning in developing language skills in young children needs to be done to avoid boredom in the learning process. Outing class learning provides an opportunity to express children's language skills. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of outing class-based contextual learning in improving early childhood language development. This type of research is qualitative research. The results of this research indicate that the outing class learning method is effectively applied in contextual learning to improve aspects of language development in early childhood. In the new normal period, this method is suitable to be applied in learning because it can eliminate the boredom of studying during the pandemic and can add direct experience so that it can improve children's language skills.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the handwashing strategy in stimulating children's patience implemented at RA Ma'arif NU Plus 001 Samarinda. The social-emotional development of children aged 5-6 has been able to show tolerance and show empathy. Patience is a form of emotional expression that exists in every child, with patience will be able to control emotions, each child will be different in expressing his emotions, with the activities in washing hands together we will understand the values contained in hand washing activities together. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach, as for the data sources, namely teachers and kindergarten B children, and used data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. And using data analysis techniques, namely data condensation, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study show a joint handwashing strategy in stimulating children's patience through several activities, namely providing an understanding of good hand washing procedures before washing hands, then children are directed to queue, then children wash their hands using hand soap to make it cleaner, and after those wiping hands using a tissue so as not to be careless when wiping hands.

Abstract

Spiritual well-being is the ability to develop harmonious relationships with himself, others, the universe (environment), and transcendental aspects. In the Islamic perspective, these values are reflected in the way of view, attitudes and behaviors called morals (akhlak). The implementation of moral values in everyday life, will form a person who has personal piety, social, environmental, ritual and spiritual. This multidimensional piety arises because of the encouragement of the person who has nafs mutaminnah, namely a calm soul, sincerity, and based on the values of faith.

Abstract

The Erau Festival in Kutai Kartanegara is a traditional ritual that represents gratitude and the multicultural local wisdom of the community. This festival has the potential to serve as a bridge for strengthening religious moderation, particularly among the younger generation. This study aims to develop teaching materials based on the values of the Erau Festival, which are aligned with the four pillars of religious moderation, and to examine their implications on students' mindsets and cultural awareness. The research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The developed teaching materials were implemented and tested in two multicultural schools. Data was collected through observation and interviews, and then analyzed qualitatively. The results indicate a significant increase in cultural awareness, rising from an initial 28% among participants to 58% post-implementation, and the initiative received support from the schools. Furthermore, an observable improvement occurred in social interactions among students. The study concludes that the local wisdom values within the Erau Festival can be transformed into effective teaching materials to instill religious moderation and multicultural awareness in the Alpha generation. The implication of this research provides a practical model for integrating local wisdom into formal education.

Abstract

The strategic plan model is to explain the actions in the process of achieving the goals to be completed. This study aims to examine the strategic planning model. This study uses the library research method by collecting materials containing content about the strategic planning model. This study describes the meaning of strategic planning models, strategic planning components, and strategic planning models. The strategic planning steps include the following: 1) Set organizational goals and direction; 2) Learn about the environment inside and outside; 3) Formulate strategies; 4) Implement strategies; 5) Evaluate and monitor strategies. The strategic planning models are as follows: 1) "Basic" Strategic Planning Model; 2) Planning model based on problems or objectives; 3) Alignment or Alignment Model; 4) Scenario Planning Model; 5) Organic or Self-Organization Planning Model.
