Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of digital technology on marketing strategy development and its effect on the competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. In an era of rapid digitalization, adopting digital technology has become a crucial factor in enhancing the competitiveness of MSMEs. The research utilizes a quantitative approach with a survey design, where data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 MSME entrepreneurs who have integrated digital technology into their marketing strategies. The findings indicate that using social media and e-commerce platforms significantly contributes to increased brand awareness, sales, and customer loyalty for MSMEs. Approximately 68% of respondents reported a sales boost after utilizing digital platforms, while more than 60% noted enhanced brand visibility. On the other hand, despite the great potential of SEO and email marketing to improve competitiveness, the application of these strategies remains limited. Multiple linear regression analysis suggests that the more intensively digital technology is used, the greater the competitiveness of MSME products in an increasingly competitive market. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating digital technology into MSME marketing strategies to strengthen their position in domestic and global markets. Therefore, MSME entrepreneurs are encouraged to expand their understanding and implementation of additional digital marketing strategies and seek more significant support from the government and related institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between technological innovation, business decision-making, and sustainability in the context of Society 5.0. Mixed methods approaches are used to gain a deep and diverse understanding of these complex interactions. The data collection was done through online surveys and in-depth interviews. Quantitative analysis uses regression to examine the relationship between technological innovation adoption and sustainable business decision-making. Qualitative analysis was performed using a thematic approach to interview transcripts. The results of the analysis show that there is a positive and significant correlation between the level of technological innovation adoption and the effectiveness of sustainable business decision-making. Qualitative results reveal stakeholder views on the impact of technological innovation on business implementation and decision-making challenges. The conclusion of this study highlights the important role of technological innovation in achieving sustainable business goals, providing guidance for the development of adaptive business strategies in an age of technological change and society.

Abstract

This community engagement aims to develop human resources (HR) based on smart user principles in utilizing social media and E-wallets in the digital era, specifically for parent guardians in Desa Durian. The digital era demands individuals to become smarter and more adaptive in using technology, including social media and E-wallets. Social media is an effective tool for communication and information, while E-wallets facilitate financial transactions efficiently and reduce dependency on cash. Increasing digital literacy is expected to enhance the abilities and understanding of parents and guardians in leveraging technology optimally and securely. The methods of this community engagement include training sessions and direct mentoring designed to provide an in-depth knowledge of social media and E-wallet usage, covering technical, practical, ethical, and security aspects of digital technology. The outcomes of this engagement demonstrate that with appropriate training, parent guardians in Desa Durian can effectively use social media for communication and information-sharing, and utilize E-wallets for financial transactions more efficiently, thereby enhancing their daily life efficiency and effectiveness. In conclusion, developing HR based on smart user principles is crucial in facing the challenges of the digital era. Improved digital literacy enables parent guardians to better adapt to changes, harness technological opportunities, and positively impact the local community. From the evaluation results of the community engagement, it was found that 82% of participants were able to understand the training materials delivered by several speakers.

Abstract

RETRACTED (double submission) This article discusses the reconstruction of the history of the struggle of the kyai and santri in fighting for and defending Indonesian independence. This is important to do because recently the spirit of nationalism of the Indonesian people has begun to erode and some even consider it as an understanding that is contrary to Islam. By using a qualitative approach and data collection techniques through literature studies and historical facts, this paper shows that the true spirit of Nationalism needs to continue to be instilled in the souls of all the nation's children, because it is the result of the jihad of the kyai and the santri. This paper does not intend to deny the struggle of the heroes who did not come from the kyai and the santri, because those involved in the struggle are fighters who have sacrificed everything for the independence of Indonesia, of course in this case regardless of religion, ethnicity and race. The results of this study can at least provide input to policy makers that it is necessary to continuously instil the spirit of Nationalism by reviving the spirit of jihad to defend the State because it is still relevant to the condition of the nation. Jihad does not mean physical warfare against fellow children of the nation who are against the ideology of Nationalism, but providing continuous guidance on how the spirit of Nationalism is an inseparable part of Islamic teachings. Abstract

In the era of digital disruption, digital literacy is not just about technical skills, but also about ethics and media responsibility. The Gen Z generation, which has grown up with technology, needs a strong foundation of values. This study aims to critically analyse the role of Ḥadīth as a source of values and ethics in shaping Gen Z's digital literacy awareness, so that the use of technology is not only smart, but also moral and responsible. The background of this study is the increasing use of social media and digital platforms that are often misused, such as the spread of hoax news, hatred, and other unethical behaviour. Ḥadīth as one of the authentic sources of Islamic teachings can be used as a guide in shaping critical, ethical, and responsible attitudes in the digital space. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature review approach and content analysis. Data were collected from various Ḥadīth texts related to communication manners, social responsibility, and ethics in conveying information. The results showed that Ḥadīth has a significant role in building digital literacy in the Gen Z generation. Values such as honesty, responsibility in conveying information, and the obligation to verify the truth of information (tabayyun) are very relevant in overcoming the challenges of the digital era. By taking Ḥadīth as a guideline, the Gen Z can be wiser in using digital technology, so that they are able to utilise digital media productively and positively.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan potensi lokal dalam upaya pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat, khususnya ibu rumah tangga, menjadi salah satu strategi penting dalam mendorong kemandirian dan kesejahteraan keluarga. Di Kelurahan Simpang Baru, Kota Pekanbaru, limbah batang pisang (gedebog) yang selama ini belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal ternyata memiliki potensi ekonomi yang cukup menjanjikan jika diolah menjadi produk makanan ringan, seperti keripik gedebog pisang. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan ibu rumah tangga dalam mengolah limbah lokal menjadi produk bernilai jual, serta menumbuhkan semangat kewirausahaan. Kegiatan ini menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang menekankan partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam seluruh tahapan kegiatan, mulai dari identifikasi masalah, perencanaan, pelaksanaan pelatihan, hingga evaluasi dan rencana keberlanjutan. Selain pelatihan teknis pembuatan keripik, kegiatan juga mencakup edukasi tentang pengemasan, pemasaran sederhana, dan pengelolaan usaha kelompok. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa para peserta dapat menambah  pengetahuan, keterampilan teknis, serta kepercayaan diri untuk memulai usaha rumahan secara mandiri maupun berkelompok. Antusiasme peserta juga terlihat dari rencana lanjutan untuk memproduksi keripik secara kolektif dan menjalin kerja sama dengan pelaku usaha lokal. Pengabdian ini juga mendorong munculnya kesadaran akan pentingnya inovasi produk berbasis sumber daya lokal. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pemanfaatan potensi lokal secara partisipatif tidak hanya memberikan manfaat ekonomi, tetapi juga memperkuat kohesi sosial dan memberdayakan peran perempuan dalam pembangunan. Oleh karena itu, hasil ini penting untuk dijadikan model replikasi di wilayah lain yang memiliki karakteristik serupa.

Abstract

The research attempts to consider swept-away (transformational) leadership and interpersonal communication and their effect on job discipline of subordinates. Good work discipline is vital to improve production performance and organization effectiveness. Transformative leadership offers the possibility to enrich employment and provide motivation, leadership, organizational objectives. Good interpersonal communication helps create better connections between managers and subordinates. A survey research method was undertaken in calculating this data study, with 200 XYZ Company employees being respondents. The data was acquired on the basis of questionnaire scales used to gauge variables such as transformational leadership, interpersonal communication in their work group and work discipline. These tests all showed data that was both reliable and valid. The analysis of data used multiple linear regression. The findings have shown that efficacious leadership and good interspecialty communication bring a beneficial result. The experiment showed coefficients of 0.220 and 0.345, respectively. A manager who is able to both motivate and provide open lines of communication can raise staff discipline. This study proposes that organizations need to lay more emphasis on leadership quality and interaction within the workplace to increase employee discipline levels and effectiveness of work.

Abstract

Aceh, a post-conflict region in Indonesia, continues to face challenges in fostering social cohesion and reconciliation through education. Despite its crucial role in peacebuilding, peace education remains insufficiently integrated into the formal curriculum. This study investigated the systematic incorporation of peace education within the junior high school Social Studies curriculum in Aceh through a Research and Development (R&D) design. The research consisted of three phases: (1) curriculum mapping to identify opportunities for peace-related themes, (2) development of a structured peace education module, and (3) evaluation of its effectiveness through classroom observations, focus group discussions (FGDs), interviews, and pre- and post-tests involving 70 students and 9 teachers in Pidie Regency. Findings showed that values such as tolerance, mediation, and conflict resolution are implicitly present in existing materials but lack structured pedagogical integration. The developed module, validated by experts and teachers, significantly improved students’ understanding of peace concepts, empathy, and conflict resolution skills. Embedding peace education into existing curricula, rather than introducing it as a separate subject, proved more sustainable and contextually effective. The study highlighted the importance of comprehensive teacher training and supportive policy frameworks to enable large-scale implementation, this research supports Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4 and SDG 16), advancing quality education, peace, and strong institutions. The model offers a scalable framework for integrating peace education into Social Studies curricula in other post-conflict regions.

Abstract

AbstrakPeran alumni sangat dibutuhkan untuk berdedikasi membangun masyarakat. Khususnya Alumni Prodi PMI memiliki tanggung jawab sosial untuk melakukan aksi inovasi dalam memberdayakan SDM dan SDA yang ada di sekitarnya. Tujuan Kajian ini untuk mengetahui pengalaman alumni Prodi PMI yang menjalankan perannya sebagai Konsultan bidang pengembangan masyarakat untuk membantu BUM-Nag. Metode kajian kualitatif kritis, penentuan subjek menggunakan purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan Teknik FGD. Pengolahan data menggunakan Teknik Content Analysis. Temuan kajian menyimpulkan bahwa Alumni prodi PMI sebagai konsultan           Pengembangan Masyarakat Islam dilapangan telah menjalankan perannya sebagai edukator, motivator, manajerial program dan fasilitator. Meskipun demikian peran alumni masih belum optimal dikarenakan masih terdapat faktor penghambat berupa faktor internal yang berasal dari alumni itu sendiri sehingga masih banyak hal yang belum dapat diimplementasikan oleh Alumni Prodi PMI di lapangan secara maksimal.Kata kunci: Peran, Alumni, Pemberdayaan, BUM-NagAbstractThe role of alumni is very much needed to be dedicated to building society. In particular, PMI Study Program Alumni have a social responsibility to carry out innovative actions in empowering human resources and natural resources in their surroundings. The purpose of this study is to find out the experiences of PMI Study Program alumni who carry out their roles as consultants in the field of community development to help BUM-Nag. Critical qualitative study method, determining subjects using purposive sampling. Data collection through observation, interviews and FGD techniques. Data processing uses Content Analysis Techniques. The study findings concluded that PMI study program alumni as Islamic Community Development consultants in the field have carried out their roles as educators, motivators, program managers and facilitators. However, the role of alumni is still not optimal because there are still inhibiting factors in the form of internal factors originating from the alumni themselves so that there are still many things that PMI Study Program Alumni cannot implement optimally in the field. Keywords: Roles, Alumni, Empowerment, BUM-Nag

Abstract

Saat ini sedang marak nya wabah penyakit yang disebut covid-19, yang penyebarannya dengan cara menginfeksi saluran pernapasan, virus ini menular melalui percikan dahak (droplet) atau percikan air liur saat berkomunikasi langsung berhadap hadapan. Untuk antisipasi mencegah penularan virus dapat dilakukan dengan selalu menggunakan alat pelindung wajah seperti masker atau face shield. Penggunaan face shield memang lebih optimal akan tetapi akan dapat lebih baik lagi bila fungsi dari face shield ini sendiri dapat berfungsi tidak hanya melindungi bagian area wajah saja tetapi akan lebih optimal bila ditambahkan sebuah sensor seperti lm35 dan pulse sensor yang berfungsi dapat dibuat menjadi pendeteksi suhu tubuh dan detak jantung. Pengukur suhu tubuh termometer inframerah memang sudah banyak dijual di pasaran dan praktis dapat dibawa kemana saja, tetapi pengukuran suhu menggunakan termometer inframerah harus memastikan alat ukurnya sudah terkalibrasi dengan baik dan cara pengukurannya perlu di sesuaikan agar tidak salah dalam mengukur suhu tubuh. Cara kerja dari face shield ini yaitu dengan menghubungkan sumber listrik dari sebuah Baterai ke Arduino Nano yang berfungsi sebagai otak sebagai pemrogram jalannya sensor dan penghubung dari komponen-komponen elektronika, Sensor LM35 sebagai pendeteksi suhu tubuh pada manusia hasil dari sensor suhu tersebut akan tampil pada sebuah LCD, Pulse sensor berfungsi sebagai pendeteksi detak jantung cara kerjanya dengan menempelkan bagian tangan ke sensor tersebut setelah itu akan tampil output di sebuah LCD. Pada penelitian ini menghasilkan Prototype Face Shield Pendeteksi Suhu Tubuh Dan Detak Jantung Berbasis Arduino Nano. Dengan adanya alat ini dapat mengetahui suhu tubuh hendak saat akan berpergian atau beraktifitas, jika suhu tubuh tinggi maka dianjurkan untuk tidak beraktifitas terlebih dahulu. Dengan demikian secara keseluruhan sistem pada alat Face Shield Pendeteksi Suhu Tubuh Dan Detak Jantung ini berfungsi dengan baik.
