Abstract

The number of social media users could be an opportunity to be used as a means of social media marketing for businesses in promoting their products. Warung 1000 Kebun is one of the online stores in Bandung that uses marketing through social media specifically Instagram. This raises the problem of whether choosing Instagram as social media marketing by Warung 1000 Kebun is effective and received a good response from Instagram users, especially followers of Warung 1000 Kebun in purchasing organic vegetable products. In this study, the effectiveness of social media marketing was measured using four social media marketing indicators according to Chris Heuer in Solis (2010), namely context, communication, collaboration, and connection on purchasing decisions of organic vegetables from Warung 1000 Kebun. This research uses a quantitative research design with survey methods. Sampling in this study uses a non-probability sampling technique and uses purposive sampling method with the number of samples set to as many as 100 people. A questionnaire with a Likert scale rating system of 1–5 was used to collect the data. Multiple linear regression carried out using SPSS 20 was the data analysis method.  The results showed that of the four social media marketing indicators, the connection indicator was the most influential followed by the context indicator which had a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions for organic vegetables at Warung 1000 Kebun.

Abstract

The use of plastic bags has become a habit, there is no day without a plastic bag. Seeing the importance of this problem, the government established a regulation for paying plastic bags in supermarkets in 2015, which is Rp. 200,- per sheet, and it is up to May 31, 2016. This policy did not work well and since 2016 supermarkets have returned to using plastic bags without paying for them. The aims of this study were (1) to analyze consumers’ willingness to pay more for plastic bags, (2) to analyze the cluster of consumer knowledge about plastic bags which damage the environment, (3) to analyze the most important factor that consumer will pay more for plastic bags . The study was conducted from May- June 2021 in Bandung, with simple random sampling. The results showed that generally consumers are willing to pay more for plastic bags (willingness to pay) between Rs. 500, - to Rs, 2.000, -, .Consumers who aware that plastic bags destroy the environment was 14.70 %, the medium knowledge was 63.39 % and the low knowledge was 21.91 %. Although the respondent’s knowledge is high, waste disposal is often practiced using plastic bags. Thus, it is not directly proportional to respondents’ knowledge and behavior about plastic bags. The most important factors that consumers are willing to pay for plastic bags are gender and family. This study can be considered for Ministry of Environment, Modern Retail, stakeholders and other market agents in considering the use of plastic bags.

Abstract

Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan kerusakan lingkungan hidup yang sampai kini tetap menjadi masalah besar bagi Indonesia adalah limbah plastik yang sulit dikelola. Sampah plastik memerlukan waktu puluhan bahkan ratusan tahun untuk membuat sampah bekas kantong plastik untuk dapat sepenuhnya terurai. Salah satu sumber sampah plastik berasal dari kemasan produk. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan edukasi sebagai upaya meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat sehingga tim pengabdian masyarakat Departemen Sosial Ekonomi Pertanian Fakultas Pertanian dan Fakultas Teknologi Industri Pertanian Universitas Padjadjaran melakukan edukasi kepada para pelaku usaha yang tergabung dalam Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Sawargi Desa Darmawangi Kecamatan Tomo Kabupaten Sumedang tentang penggunaan green packaging.

Abstract

Green Packaging merupakan sebuah inovasi baru untuk masyarakat agar dapat mengurangi sampah plastik yang ada di muka bumi. Dengan mengurangi sampah plastik diharapkan dapat pula membantu bumi ini untuk lebih baik ke depannya. Adanya sosialisasi dari ahli pun sangatlah penting dalam kelancaran penggantian plastik kepada bahan-bahan yang ramah lingkungan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) merupakan wujud nyata dari tugas dosen dan mahasiswa dalam melaksanakan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi yakni aspek pengabdian. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat desa Lembang, maka terjadi sinergi antara perguruan tinggi dengan masyarakat sebagai wujud knowledge demokrasi. Dalam kegiatan KKN Integratif ini bertujuan mensosialisasi penggunaan green packaging dan pengelolaan Bank sampah untuk masyarakat di Desa Lembang, Kabupaten Bandung. Sasaran utama dalam kegiatan iniadalah masyarakat Desa Lembang. Kegiatan ini KKN Integratif ini antara lain kegiatan Penyuluhan kepada masyarakat pentingnya mengurangi sampah plastik, penyuluhan pentingnya bank sampah, sosialisasi bisnis online, branding product dan penyuluhan pola hidup bersih dan sehat.

Abstract

With the largest population in Indonesia, Bogor Regency in West Java Province has agricultural potential. One of the prospective regions in Region V with agricultural populations that grow both fresh and processed agricultural products, from rural to urban. Problems in the promotion of agricultural products were discovered by the Government of Bogor Regency through the Agricultural Extension Center of Region V. To solve these issues, a platform called Kiosagri.com in the form of a marketplace has been introduced. It is required to quantify usability, which is influenced by the usability dimension, for this market to be useful. As a result, the purpose of this study is to examine the usability factors that influence the usability of the farmers that utilize the Kiosagri.com agricultural marketplace. This reserach employs a cross-sectional survey design and a quantitative methodology. Farmers who have been introduced to Kiosagri.com were the only respondents in the census. 32 respondents' data were analyzed using multiple linear regression tests and descriptive statistics. The findings demonstrated a substantial relationship between usability and the usability factors of learnability, efficiency, memorability, error, and satisfaction. Only efficiency, which has a substantial impact on usability, is the dimension that dominates this relationship.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the prospects and challenges for implementing smart villages using a case study of Genteng Village in West Java, Indonesia, according to the sustainable development perspective and the enabler factors of socio-economic factors, village’s technology, and environmental aspects. This research uses a qualitative approach to assess the potencies and challenges from social, economic, environmental, and infrastructure perspectives. This research conducts a field survey with in-depth interviews and observation in Genteng Village, Sukasari Sub-district, Sumedang Regency, West Java Province to tap the information needed. Interviews with stakeholders were conducted with informants representing the rural stakeholders consisted of village official government, village local champion/leader, and farmer group representatives. Researcher involvement in nearly two years in regular visits and observations before this research has enriched and validated the information obtained. This research found prospective local social capital components and economic potencies to develop using the smart village framework. Environment and infrastructure are relatively still the challenges to be overcome towards the smart village. This research concludes that Genteng Village is on the right track, though early-stage to develop as a smart village. External factors, mainly information and communication technology, will be one of the main driving factors for optimism in implementing a smart village in Genteng Village.

Abstract

The role of small-scale business (UMKM) is source of income and job for the people. The problem of the industry is low quality of product packaging. The purpose of PKM are: (1) How to increase the knowledge and (2) how to raise packaging practice. PKM activities took place from June 24th until July 24th, 2024. The activity was done by companionship of lecture, demonstration and practice. Participant knowledge and practice increase were analysed based pre-test before activity and post-test after activity. The result of activity showed us there were increase significantly about packaging product knowledge and packaging product experience.

Abstract

Sacha inchi oil is a new product derived from the sacha inchi plant. Despite its numerous benefits, its sales in Indonesia remain low. This study aims to analyze the relationship between product knowledge and a healthy lifestyle on purchase interest in sacha inchi oil in Bandung City. The research method used is a survey by distributing online questionnaires to respondents who meet the criteria and reside in Bandung City. The data were analyzed descriptively and using Spearman's rank correlation to examine the relationship between product knowledge and a healthy lifestyle on purchase interest in sacha inchi oil. The results show a relationship between product knowledge and purchase interest in sacha inchi oil with a correlation coefficient of 0.528, indicating a strong relationship. Additionally, there is a relationship between a healthy lifestyle and purchase interest in sacha inchi oil with a correlation coefficient of 0.319, indicating a moderate or fairly strong relationship.

Abstract

Green packaging menghadirkan solusi potensial untuk polusi lingkungan yang terkait dengan limbah plastik dari kemasan. Kemasan berbahan dasar kertas dianggap lebih mudah didaur ulang sehingga lebih baik untuk lingkungan. Namun demikian, banyak bakeri yang belum mengadopsi kemasan ramah lingkungan, yang menandakan terbatasnya minat untuk memanfaatkan opsi berkelanjutan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi produse$n usaha bakeri terhadap kemasan plastik dan kemasan kertas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan yang didasarkan pada prinsip-prinsip positivisme. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan green packaging pada produsen masih rendah, yaitu hanya 25,00% untuk produk roti dan 15,00% untuk produk kue bolu. Produsen memiliki persepsi bahwa kemasan plastik dapat membuat produk menarik karena dapat terlihat tanpa harus membuka kemasan disebabkan sifatnya yang transparan, kemasan yang menarik. Sedangkan bagi produsen yang lebih memilih menggunakan kemasan berbahan dasar kertas menganggap bahwa kemasan kertas sebagai pengemas produk roti dapat tahan terhadap suhu yang tinggi. Bagi produk kue bolu, produsen menganggap kemasan kertas merupakan kemasan yang dapat melindungi produk lebih baik dan dapat mengurangi sampah plastik. Banyaknya persepsi positif terhadap kemasan plastik dibandingkan kemasan kertas mengindikasikan bahwa minat produse$n menggunakan green packaging belum tinggi, sehingga produsen masih harus diberikan sosialisasi tentang kebiasaan yang ramah lingkungan, bahaya sampah plastik dan penggunaan green packaging untuk meningkatkan daya saing usahanya.

Abstract

Perspektif agribisnis memandang dalam usaha pertanian hortikultura, benih merupakan komponen input penting yang menentukan produktivitas dan kualitas hasil. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui perilaku adopsi petani dalam menerima benih cap panah merah, dan keputusan pembeliannya serta faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian petani. Metode pengambilan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah survey. Lokasi penelitian dipilih dengan pertimbangan bahwa Kec. Sukaraja merupakan lokasi Pilot Project program Closed Loop dari Kementerian Koordinator Bidang Perekonomian yang berhasil membangun rantai pasok petani dari hulu hingga hilir. Sampel Desa lokasi penelitian adalah Desa Sukamekar, Desa Cisarua, Desa Langensari, dan Desa Margaluyu dengan pertimbangan penghasilan utama masyarakat di desa tersebut dari bertani hortikultura sayuran. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara simple random sampling dengan jumlah 90 responden. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif menggunakan SEM PLS. Perilaku adopsi petani di Kecamatan Sukaraja dalam menerapkan benih cap panah merah berada pada tahap trial atau tahap percobaan, dimana petani sedang mencoba menggunakan benih cap panah merah dengan skala yang kecil, dan 90% petani menyatakan bersedia membeli dan menggunakan benih sayuran cap panah merah dengan alasan benih cap panah merah berkualitas, mudah didapat di toko pertanian, dan banyak digunakan di kalangan petani. Adapun faktor yang berpengaruh langsung adalah Motivasi, Persepsi, Sikap, Dukungan Keluarga, Dukungan Rekan dan Dukungan Petugas. Sedangkan faktor yang berpengaruh tidak langsung adalah Produk, Promosi dan Harga. Hasil ini dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan jejaring bagi PT. East West Seed Indonesia dalam melakukan pengaturan harga sehingga dapat dirasakan manfaatnya oleh semua kalangan petani.
