Abstract

Abstract: Dental and oral health is sometimes a priority for some people, even though dental and oral diseases have a serious impact on general health, because the teeth and mouth are places where germs and bacteria enter so that they are likely to interfere with the health of other organs of the body. Periodontitis is a gum disease caused by bacteria that damages the supporting tissues of the teeth and causes tooth loss. This disease can be avoided if you come to the dentist early. However, the problem that often occurs is that many people only start treatment after periodontitis reaches a chronic stage, so an approach is needed that can assist people in diagnosing periodontitis early, quickly and accurately. An expert system is a system that seeks to implement human knowledge on computers so that computers can solve problems as experts do. Fuzzy Logic Sugeno and Backward Chaining methods are used for calculations because these methods can solve the hypothesis of a problem by measuring one's beliefs. The results of this study are an expert system that can have an output in the form of the name of the disease periodontitis and the degree of certainty of the user's disease. Keywords: expert system, fuzzy logic sugeno, backward chaining, periodontitis Abstrak: Kesehatan gigi dan mulut terkadang memang merupakan prioritas ke sekian bagi beberapa orang, padahal sebenarnya penyakit gigi dan mulut berdampak serius bagi kesehatan secara umum, sebab gigi dan mulut merupakan tempat masuknya kuman dan bakteri sehingga kemungkinan besar dapat mengganggu kesehatan organ tubuh lainnya. Penyakit Periodontitis adalah penyakit gusi yang disebabkan oleh bakteri yang merusak jaringan penunjang gigi dan meyebabkan kehilangan gigi. Penyakit tersebut bisa dihindari apabila datang ke dokter gigi lebih awal. Akan tetapi permasalahan yang sering terjadi adalah banyak masyarakat yang baru mulai berobat setelah penyakit periodontitis mencapai tahap kronis, sehingga diperlukan sebuah pendekatan yang dapat membantu masyarakat dalam mendiagnosis penyakit periodontitis secara dini, cepat dan akurat. Sistem pakar merupakan sistem yang berusaha mengimplementasikan pengetahuan manusia pada komputer agar komputer bisa menyelesaikan masalah sebagaimana yang dilakukan oleh para ahli. Metode Fuzzy Logic Sugeno dan Backward Chaining digunakan untuk perhitungan dikarenakan metode tersebut dapat menyelesaikan ketidakpastian terhadap suatu masalah dengan mengukur keyakinan seseorang. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem pakar yang dapat memiliki keluaran berupa nama penyakit periodontitis dan tingkat kepastian terhadap penyakit yang diderita pengguna. Kata kunci: sistem pakar, fuzzy logic sugeno, backward chaining, periodontitis

Abstract

Sekolah Luar Biasa merupakan tempat pendidikan bagi anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus. SLB memiliki beberapa jenis yang dibedakan sesuai dengan kelainan yang disandang oleh peserta didiknya. Banyak informasi mengenai fasilitas pendidikan umum yang telah diketahui oleh masyarakat, namun tidak dengan informasi mengenai sekolah khusus seperti Sekolah Luar Biasa(SLB). Informasi bagi masyarakat umum tentang jenis, lokasi, jumlah guru, jumlah tenaga kependidikan, jumlah peserta didik, dan profil SekolahLuar Biasa pada SLB masih dianggap minim informasi. Karena masalah tersebut dilakukan analisis untuk membangun sistem informasi geografis sebagai media teknologi informasi dalam menampilkan tata letak lokasi sekolah luar biasa di Kota Medan dan menggunakan algoritma A Star untuk memudahkan masyarakat dalam memperoleh rute terdekat menuju lokasi tujuan. Dengan adanya rute terdekat pada sistem ini, penulis juga berharap agar memudahkan masyarakat KotaMedan dalam mencari lokasi Lokasi Sekolah Luar biasa yg terdekat dari tempat tinggal mereka khususnya masyarakat yg memiliki Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK).

Abstract

Student organizations are an interpretation of organizations that accommodate students in carrying out and developing their roles. The benefits of organizations for students include as a forum for honing soft skills, fostering a sense of concern for the social environment, and increasing student selling points as provisions to support the future. One of the student organizations at the university is the Department of Student Association. The problem that often occurs in major student associations is selecting potential new members who determine the success of the association in the future. So a decision is needed in selecting the existing criteria as the best prospective member who will be selected as a new member or who has high loyalty to the student association of one's own department. However, during the selection process for selecting the best member candidates, the department's student association experienced difficulties because there were so many candidates to be selected. The author conducted research and combined two methods, namely Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Promethee II. This merger aims to overcome the problem of determining the criteria for the best administrator candidates in the UINSU Computer Science Department Student Association. Next, the author will build a decision support application that makes it easier to process data, compare criteria, and produce the best alternative. Overcoming the problem of criteria for being the best candidate for major student association administrators, namely by combining the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method in collaboration with the Promethee II method. To test the criteria and eligibility for prospective administrators of the UINSU computer science student association. Design and build applications that can support decisions with several conflicting criteria and alternatives that will produce the greatest value which will later be selected as the best alternative. Decision support system and makes it easy to select recommendations for the suitability of candidates for departmental student association management. The selection results are obtained from the alternative results with the highest final value. The system that has been built can be used by UINSU, so that UINSU can select prospective association administrators as departmental student association administrators.

Abstract

Along with the times, computer technology has increasingly developed its use and is widely used in various fields such as in the fields of health, automotive, economics, education and so on. The rapid development of technology provides many conveniences in solving problems and satisfying work demands for human life. One of the uses of information technology has been implemented in schools. The Intra-School Student Organization (OSIS) is an organization at the school level in Indonesia, starting from junior high school (SMP) and high school (SMA). The Student Council is taken care of and managed by students who are selected to become the Student Council committee. Currently, to accept new student council members, it is only determined by the student council president and several teachers. The assessment process tends to be subjective, so it is not fair. To solve these problems, a decision support system can be applied. with the current development of information technology this research will develop a system that can determine the acceptance of new student council members and apply decision support system techniques using the TOPSIS and SAW algorithms. The research objectives put forward in solving the problem are as follows. Determination of acceptance of OSIS members using the TOPSIS and SAW methods. Designing an application for accepting OSIS members using the TOPSIS and SAW methods using the PHP programming language system and MySQL database.

Abstract

Sharia Retail Business is a type of business that sells goods with a sharia-based retail system. The increasing number of expert systems made by westerners, it is a challenge to create an expert system that is in accordance with Islamic law. The number of Islamic people who like retail businesses such as Carrefour or Alfamart is a reason to create an expert system about retail business. The expert system was chosen because it makes it easier for users to master the concept of Islamic retail business through a knowledge base that is in accordance with sharia teachings. Regarding forward chaining, what is applied is reasoning based on rules that are made and selected to help users choose facts about retail businesses first that suit them, then conclusions are made on previously selected facts. The certainty factor applied is a method that defines belief in a fact and is used to overcome uncertainty in retail businesses. Sharia is applied to the retail business to make it easier for people to purchase goods in unit quantities. The problem in this study is that it is difficult to ascertain whether a retail transaction is sharia-based or not if only seen from the naked eye, in addition to going to a retail store at a cost, there is another solution, namely implementing an expert system in conducting sharia retail transactions. In conducting Islamic retail transactions, a method or algorithm is needed in building an expert system, this study uses Forward Chainning and Certainty Factor algorithms.

Abstract

Public transportation is currently based on applications and the internet, so it is called online transportation. Grab and Gojek are two online transportation service providers who want to provide the best service. Users provide responses, experiences, criticism and suggestions via Twitter. This research will use the LDA algorithm to map topics that users frequently discuss regarding Gojek and Grab. Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) is an unsupervised learning algorithm used to detect topics in a collection of text documents. LDA assumes that each document consists of a mixture of several topics, and that each topic consists of a probability distribution over words. LDA works by modeling the generative process of documents. This process begins by selecting a topic for the document, then selecting words from that topic. The probability of selecting certain topics and words is determined by parameters learned from the data. Data was obtained via Twitter with the keywords "#grabid" and "#gojekindonesia". From the research results, it was found that the best topic mapping results for Gojek objects were 2 topics, namely promotions and orders. Abstract

Abstract This research details the development of Android-based Attendance Application for D-III Accounting Lecturers (ABA DOA) using Appsheet platform and utilizing LATLONG() and DISTANCE() functions for location validation. The development method applied is Rapid Application Development (RAD). ABA DOA provides convenience for lecturers with a self-photo feature as proof of validation, while integrating GPS and Google Maps to validate the location of attendance. The application results show efficiency in academic management with an optimal level of security. The LATLONG() function is used to determine the location coordinate point, while DISTANCE() is used to measure the distance between the authorized coordinate point and the attendance location. This research highlights the importance of technological innovation in supporting academic activities and campus management. The conclusion of this research is that ABA DOA successfully optimizes the attendance process with a high level of validation and security, making a positive contribution to the efficiency and effectiveness of study program management.

Abstract

Japanese is one of the most challenging languages in the world, yet it is one of the most popular languages in Indonesia. As many as 711,732 students in Indonesia are learning Japanese. In the process of learning Japanese, a dictionary is needed as a tool to help users expand their Japanese vocabulary. In this article, an Android-based Indonesian-Japanese dictionary application has been designed using a comparison between two algorithms, namely Berry-Ravindran and Reverse Colussi. In the development of this application, there are two algorithms used, namely the Berry-Ravindran and Reverse Colussi algorithms. Both will be used to compare the average running time of 10 tested words. The running time results for the Berry-Ravindran algorithm are 22.3 ms and for the Reverse Colussi algorithm are 16 ms. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Reverse Colussi algorithm is faster and more efficient than the Berry-Ravindran algorithm in terms of search time.Keyword: Japanese Language; Berry-Ravindran; Reverse Colussi; Android  AbstrakBahasa Jepang merupakan salah satu bahasa tersulit di dunia, namun merupakan salah satu bahasa yang paling diminati di Indonesia. Sebanyak 711.732 pelajar di Indonesia mempelajari bahasa Jepang Dalam mempelajari bahasa Jepang, diperlukan sebuah kamus sebagai media untuk membantu pengguna dalam menambah kosakata bahasa Jepang. Pada artikel ini, telah dirancang aplikasi kamus bahasa Indonesia-Jepang berbasis android dengan menggunakan perbandingan antara dua algoritma, yaitu Berry-Ravindran dan Reverse Colussi. Dalam pengembangan aplikasi ini, terdapat dua algoritma yang digunakan yaitu algoritma Berry-Ravindran dan Reverse Colussi. Keduanya akan digunakan untuk membandingkan rata-rata running time dari 10 sampel kata yang diuji. Hasil running time untuk algoritma Berry Ravindran adalah 22,3 ms dan pada algoritma Reverse Colussi adalah 16 ms. Abstract

Extracurricular activities are vital for developing students' personalities, talents, and abilities beyond the standard curriculum. However, a lack of effective information dissemination about extracurricular activities poses a challenge. To address this issue, a decision support system using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) methods is needed, along with increasing students' awareness of the importance of extracurricular activities. This research aims to recommend extracurricular programs to students in vocational high schools. Specific issues include developing a literature review, designing a user-friendly system, tools for web-based decision support system development, and implementing AHP and TOPSIS methods for extracurricular recommendation systems. The research will be conducted at SMK Muhammadiyah 9 Medan, focusing on 93 selected Class X students. Recommendation criteria will include intelligence level, interests, concentration, memory, commitment, willingness, creativity, health history, and parental consent, based on the results of students' psychological tests. The AHP method will be used for criteria weighting, and TOPSIS will rank recommended extracurricular programs based on priority values. The research aims to provide 9 recommended extracurricular programs tailored to students' interests and talents, enhance researchers' skills in implementing AHP and TOPSIS methods, improve extracurricular program management efficiency, and increase student satisfaction with extracurricular activities. The decision support system developed in this research will benefit researchers, school administrators, and students, improving program management and student participation in extracurricular activities.The implementation results of extracurricular recommendations using the AHP and TOPSIS methods achieved an accuracy of 74%. Changes in accuracy may be influenced by the criteria used and inputted, as well as the minimum extracurricular activities inputted by the user.

Abstract

The ease of obtaining information and having complete functions in one hand makes an individual tend not to be separated from a smartphone even for a while because the individual has felt dependent on the smartphone function. Excessive smartphone use in children can have a negative impact on their psychological health, especially in terms of aggressive behavior. Excessive use of smartphones can make children more impulsive, irritable, and prone to aggressive actions. Therefore, a system is needed that can detect the tendency of aggressive behavior in children due to the influence of smartphones to prevent the encouragement of aggressive behavior in children that can make these children capable of committing criminal acts and other negative actions using an expert system. The methods used in this research are the certainty factor method and the Bayes theorem method. Bayes theorem is used to classify and calculate the probability value of a child's tendency to aggressive behavior due to the influence of smartphones. While the certainty factor method is used to determine the confidence value of the probability value obtained using the Bayes theorem. The results of this study illustrate the feasibility of the proposed framework in correctly recognizing the tendency of coercive behavior influenced by smartphone use among children. By utilizing Bayes' theorem and certainty factor, it is expected that this research can help in conducting early detection of the level of aggressive behavior tendencies due to the influence of smartphones. Based on the research that has been done, the system successfully detects 3 (three) levels of tendency, namely low, medium, and high with a percentage of 100% with the results of the Bayes theorem and certainty factor calculations showing in class P3 with a combination of CFcombine(CFold_4,CF_13) has a percentage of 94.17% confidence level and judging from the results of the calculation of the certainty factor combination formula above, it can be concluded that, the child has a tendency to High aggressive behavior.
