Abstract

In 2024, Indonesia will hold an election for head of state which will be the pinnacle of democracy in its political system. In the context of democracy, active community participation plays a key role in making general elections successful. However, there is still a tendency for people to only follow election procedures without actively participating. Therefore, this research was conducted to analyze public sentiment towards the 2024 presidential candidates, using data from social media Twitter. Social media, especially Twitter, has become the main platform for Indonesian people to express their political opinions, views and preferences. With the number of social media users reaching 170 million in 2021, Indonesia has great potential to gather various opinions and sentiments regarding general elections. This research aims to analyze sentiment using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method on tweets containing hashtags related to three presidential candidates, namely Aniesbaswedan, Ganjarpranowo, and Prabowosubianto. The results of sentiment analysis show that the SVM method can be used to analyze sentiment with an accuracy of around 78.3 % overall. This accuracy is influenced by factors such as the amount of data used and the composition of positive and negative data. The sentiment data analyzed came from 1719 tweets from Twitter users, with a distribution of around 597 data for Aniesbaswedan, 627 data for Ganjarpranowo, and 495 data for Prabowo Subianto. This research provides insight into how Indonesian people convey their sentiments regarding the 2024 presidential candidates via social media. . This sentiment analysis can be an important reference in understanding the public's political preferences ahead of the upcoming general election.

Abstract

Gold is a type of investment that is starting to be popular with many people. Gold price forecasting has an important role for investors and business people in making smart investment decisions. The problem in this research is displaying the price of gold in the market which influences many factors, for example global supply and demand, fluctuating exchange rates, the global situation, and the US dollar exchange rate. And another problem that can be taken up is forecasting gold prices which change from time to time which results in potential losses for investor trading in terms of profit risk in the market. Therefore, it is necessary to create a system that can determine gold price forecasts for investors in the market. uses the Box-Jenkins ARIMA comparison method with precise Moving Average and careful analysis to forecast gold prices. The comparison method is used to determine the trend pattern of the series and provide accurate data, namely the ARIMA Box-Jenkins method, while the Moving Average method determines the movement of the average value to estimate the next value. By calculating the prediction results of the Moving Average and ARIMA, then comparing the accuracy values of ARIMA and Moving Average, we get the accuracy value of ARIMA, namely 98.74% and Moving Average, namely 97.73%. It is known that the difference is not too different, but ARIMA gets the highest accuracy. The role of the application was carried out by conducting research at the H. ST Gold Shop. Martua by collecting gold price data, after the collected data is calculated for coding then entered into an application that has been built using the Moving Average and ARIMA methods.

Abstract

Stunting is a physical health disorder caused by a deficiency or imbalance of nutrients necessary for the growth and development of children. This article examines the problem of stunting in children in Kerajaan sub-district, with a focus on the Sukaramai village of Pakpak Bharat district. In 2021, Pakpak Bharat District saw an increase in the number of toddlers in North Sumatra, who were diagnosed with stunting, reaching 21.25%. This occurs due to socio-economic factors and socio-cultural background which have a lot to do with diet and nutrition. According to the Indonesian Toddler Nutrition Statutes (SSGBI), in 2019, the stunting rate in Indonesia increased to 27.7%. The impact of stunting on children includes physical growth disorders, delayed brain development, and the risk of chronic disease in adulthood. Recognizing the urgency of this problem, the government has taken various steps, including the designation of funds for stunt prevention programs. This study uses the K-Means Clustering method to group stunting status in children into three categories: normal, stunting, and rapid growth. Therefore, a method is needed to group stunting status in children, namely using the Clustering method with the K-Means algorithm. The aim is to assist the government in adopting appropriate policies related to reducing the prevalence of stunting in children based on the status and problems of each cluster. The data used primarily comes from the Sukaramai village. The results of the research showed that around 30% of the 101 children studied experienced stunting in the Kerajaan sub-district, including 0 total, 43 children with normal status, 1 total, 31 children with stunting, and 2 total children. 27 children who had not yet developed rapidly did not start early his umur. This study makes an important contribution to the management of data on the nutritional status of children in the remote area and can be a reference for future research. By applying the K-Means Clustelring algorithm, this study helps understand stunting patterns and design more targeted solutions.

Abstract

Article history: The use of technology is an important need for society, so that data security is also increasingly stretched by crimes in the form of destruction or theft of data by irresponsible people. Securing the contents of data in a folder, for example, will keep the data safe and confidential so that it cannot be seen by anyone other than the intended recipient. Therefore, one way of storing data in folders must be treated in a special way, namely by using cryptography. Cryptography is the science and art of protecting the confidentiality of communications involving data and information. The Rivest Code 4 algorithm, a cryptographic technique, uses binary operations (XOR) to combine plaintext with stream ciphers that use the same key for bitwise or byte-by-byte encryption, so that security is maintained.

Abstract

The development of computer technology has increased the demand for the right choice in buying an SSD (Solid State Drive) for a laptop. This research is intended to develop a decision support system (DSS) that uses a combination of the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) and SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) methods in selecting laptop SSD at a Medan computer shop. This research consists of several stages. The first stage involves identifying relevant criteria in selecting a laptop SSD, such as price, capacity, speed, durability, and warranty. The AHP method is used to determine the relative weight of each criterion. The second phase involves using the SAW method to assign a value to each criterion and the SSD alternatives available in the store. The suitability score for each alternative is calculated and the system generates recommendations based on the highest score. The decision support system developed in this research is expected to help computer shop owners and customers choose the most suitable laptop SSD according to their needs and preferences. By using a combination of AHP and SAW methods, more objective and accurate results can be obtained in selecting a laptop SSD at a computer shop in Medan. In the context of laptop hardware selection, this research is expected to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This tracer study collects information and analyzes the profiles of alumni of the Computer Science undergraduate study program at UIN North Sumatra. The method used in this research is a descriptive method that will describe the alumni profile. Data collection in this research used an online survey method by distributing a questionnaire consisting of several questions as the main instrument. The aim of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of the UIN North Sumatra Computer Science undergraduate study program in providing education and preparing graduates who are competent and ready to work and to evaluate the quality of education received by alumni during the study period. This research analyzes the suitability of alumni to market needs by distributing questionnaires to assess the Cumulative Achievement Index obtained by alumni at the end of their studies, the length of the alumni's study period, the length of the alumni's waiting period to get a job, the suitability of the alumni's field of work and the scope of alumni's work. The results of this research can provide a better understanding of how study programs can produce graduates who are competent and ready to face challenges in the world of work and can also provide recommendations for institutions to improve the quality of education and relevance of the curriculum to better suit the needs of the current world of work. Abstract

This research aims to improve the security and efficiency of network use in government environments, especially in relation to access to social media sites. This research also aims to implement a healthy internet and avoid the negative impacts that come from pornographic websites. The research method used in this research is state general problem, conduct literatur research, desain methodology, implementation,analyze data, and report result. The results of this research show that the implementation of Filter Rule Performance using the Raw Method and Layer 7 Protocol on the Mikrotik Router at the Communications and Information Service of North Sumatera Office has been successful. Filter Rules with the Raw method are used to process packets before Connection Tracking is carried out, so that they can reduce the load on the CPU. Meanwhile, Layer 7 Protocol is used to perform filtering based on the application protocol used in data packets. However, using the L7 Filter Rule also has a weakness, namely that it can consume Router resources if used for Filtering all types of Traffic.Keywords: Filter Rule, Raw Method, Layer 7 Protocol, Router Mikrotik

Abstract

Kelas Ekslusif adalah kelas yang mengajarkan program-program spesifik untuk peserta didik yang termasuk unggulan, dengan pengembangan bakat dan kreativitas yang ada didalam dirinya agar potensi yang ada bisa keluar dan bisa tumbuh dan berkembang sesuai dengan tingkat kecerdasan dan kemampuan peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyeleksi siswa yang mampu masuk ke kelas ekslusif di SMP N Perisai Kutacane yang penyeleksian sebelumnya masih bersifat subjektifitas menjadi objektifitas. Untuk itulah perlu adanya sistem pendukung keputusan dengan menggunakan kombinasi metode Profile Matching dan Technique For Others Preference By Similarity To Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). Metode ini dipilih karena mampu menyelesaikan penyeleksian siswa ekslusif berdasarkan kriteria dan bobot yang sudah ditentukan oleh SMP N Perisai Kutacane yaitu,  berbadan sehat, rekomendasi dari sekolah asal, nilai raport minimal juara 1 sampai 5, sertifikat prestasi (akademik maupun non akademik), hasil test tertulis, dan hasil wawancara, yang nantinya akan dijadikan acuan dalam penyeleksian siswa. Sistem ini dikembangkan dengan bahasa pemograman PHP. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa penerapan kombinasi metode Profile Matching dan TOPSIS kedalam sistem dengan proses perhitungan manual disimpulkan memiliki hasil yang sama pada tiap-tiap prosesnya, sehingga sistem yang dibangun ini dirasa berhasil dalam menyeleksi siswa baru untuk masuk kedalam kelas ekslusif.

Abstract

Abstract: Dental and oral health is sometimes a priority for some people, even though dental and oral diseases have a serious impact on general health, because the teeth and mouth are places where germs and bacteria enter so that they are likely to interfere with the health of other organs of the body. Periodontitis is a gum disease caused by bacteria that damages the supporting tissues of the teeth and causes tooth loss. This disease can be avoided if you come to the dentist early. However, the problem that often occurs is that many people only start treatment after periodontitis reaches a chronic stage, so an approach is needed that can assist people in diagnosing periodontitis early, quickly and accurately. An expert system is a system that seeks to implement human knowledge on computers so that computers can solve problems as experts do. Fuzzy Logic Sugeno and Backward Chaining methods are used for calculations because these methods can solve the hypothesis of a problem by measuring one's beliefs. The results of this study are an expert system that can have an output in the form of the name of the disease periodontitis and the degree of certainty of the user's disease. Keywords: expert system, fuzzy logic sugeno, backward chaining, periodontitis Abstrak: Kesehatan gigi dan mulut terkadang memang merupakan prioritas ke sekian bagi beberapa orang, padahal sebenarnya penyakit gigi dan mulut berdampak serius bagi kesehatan secara umum, sebab gigi dan mulut merupakan tempat masuknya kuman dan bakteri sehingga kemungkinan besar dapat mengganggu kesehatan organ tubuh lainnya. Penyakit Periodontitis adalah penyakit gusi yang disebabkan oleh bakteri yang merusak jaringan penunjang gigi dan meyebabkan kehilangan gigi. Penyakit tersebut bisa dihindari apabila datang ke dokter gigi lebih awal. Akan tetapi permasalahan yang sering terjadi adalah banyak masyarakat yang baru mulai berobat setelah penyakit periodontitis mencapai tahap kronis, sehingga diperlukan sebuah pendekatan yang dapat membantu masyarakat dalam mendiagnosis penyakit periodontitis secara dini, cepat dan akurat. Sistem pakar merupakan sistem yang berusaha mengimplementasikan pengetahuan manusia pada komputer agar komputer bisa menyelesaikan masalah sebagaimana yang dilakukan oleh para ahli. Metode Fuzzy Logic Sugeno dan Backward Chaining digunakan untuk perhitungan dikarenakan metode tersebut dapat menyelesaikan ketidakpastian terhadap suatu masalah dengan mengukur keyakinan seseorang. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem pakar yang dapat memiliki keluaran berupa nama penyakit periodontitis dan tingkat kepastian terhadap penyakit yang diderita pengguna. Kata kunci: sistem pakar, fuzzy logic sugeno, backward chaining, periodontitis

Abstract

Sharia Retail Business is a type of business that sells goods with a sharia-based retail system. The increasing number of expert systems made by westerners, it is a challenge to create an expert system that is in accordance with Islamic law. The number of Islamic people who like retail businesses such as Carrefour or Alfamart is a reason to create an expert system about retail business. The expert system was chosen because it makes it easier for users to master the concept of Islamic retail business through a knowledge base that is in accordance with sharia teachings. Regarding forward chaining, what is applied is reasoning based on rules that are made and selected to help users choose facts about retail businesses first that suit them, then conclusions are made on previously selected facts. The certainty factor applied is a method that defines belief in a fact and is used to overcome uncertainty in retail businesses. Sharia is applied to the retail business to make it easier for people to purchase goods in unit quantities. The problem in this study is that it is difficult to ascertain whether a retail transaction is sharia-based or not if only seen from the naked eye, in addition to going to a retail store at a cost, there is another solution, namely implementing an expert system in conducting sharia retail transactions. In conducting Islamic retail transactions, a method or algorithm is needed in building an expert system, this study uses Forward Chainning and Certainty Factor algorithms.
