Abstract

This study aims to analyze the feasibility of beef cattle farming in the Perbaungan area, North Sumatra, and to develop sustainable business development strategies. The approaches used include financial, technical, and market analysis, with data collected through field surveys, interviews with farmers, and secondary data analysis. The results of the study indicate that the beef cattle farming business in this location is economically feasible with a significant level of profit. Recommended development strategies include optimizing feed management, increasing human resource capacity, and product diversification to expand the market. These findings are expected to help local farmers improve their business productivity and contribute to national food security.

Abstract

The current parking system still uses a manual parking system, vehicle owners still have difficulty finding an empty parking space because they have to go around the parking area so it is less efficient and takes a long time. This study aims to help car drivers save time in finding parking locations and knowing the availability of parking spaces. In this study, there are two types of input used: infrared sensors, which function to measure the capacity of the parking space, and RFID sensors, which are used to detect cards. The data processing process is carried out using Arduino Uno, while the LCD is used to display the number of available parking slots and the location of the slot. In addition, the servo motor functions to open the barrier. This system operates in a way, when a car enters and attaches a registered card, the servo motor will open, and the number of parking slots will decrease. The driver then selects a parking slot, which will be automatically marked as "full" on the LCD screen. When the infrared sensor detects a car that wants to exit, the servo motor will open again, and the number of parking slots on the LCD will increase.

Abstract

Penulis menjelaskan mengimplementasikan media promosi Program Studi Teknik Informatika Universitas Islam As-Syafi'iyah berupa buku animasi pop-up yang dianimasikan, hal ini akan meningkatkan popularitasnya di wilayah Jakarta Timur dan Bekasi. Pemilihan media tersebut dilakukan karena animasi grafis lebih menarik dibandingkan dengan iklan statis. Ada beberapa tahapan dalam proses desain motion graphic, diantaranya tahap pra produksi, tahap produksi, dan tahap pasca produksi. Desain grafisnya informatif, khususnya program studi Teknik Informatika di UIA. Grafik gerak ini menggunakan animasi gaya buku pop-up untuk mengilustrasikan promosi produk sebagai bentuk penyampaian Desain Datar yang berbeda. Tahap evaluasi akan dilakukan secara online melalui Google Forms, dengan publikasi berdasarkan hasil insight Instagram dan Youtube penulis. Aspek evaluasi terdiri dari 2 aspek yaitu aspek metode dan aspek animasi itu sendiri yang terbagi menjadi aspek tampilan dan aspek isi informasi. mampu menentukan pilihan profesional masyarakat umum dan memperoleh skor sebesar 87,5% untuk hasil. Skor 94% untuk tampilan dan 93% untuk konten informasi.

Abstract

This community service aims to increase the knowledge of the community in performing the first treatment of health problems experienced, especially by using warm compresses and cold compresses. The socialisation method uses lectures and questions and answers, power point media, projectors and props. This community service was carried out in collaboration with the Diploma III Nursing Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Abulyatama University in collaboration with Miruk Lam Reudep Village, activities attended by 50 people. The results of the service provide increased knowledge to the community about using compresses in various health cases properly and in accordance with health conditions. The conclusion that this socialisation is very good for dealing with health conditions experienced at that time.

Abstract

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are chronic diseases that cannot be transmitted from person to person. Deaths from NCDs are expected to continue to rise worldwide, with the greatest increase occurring in developing and poor countries. Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) cause the death of approximately 35 million people each year. Non-communicable diseases can be prevented by doing regular physical activity. The purpose of community service activities is to increase public understanding of routine physical activity to avoid non-communicable diseases. The activity was carried out on Thursday, January 18, 2024 for 60 minutes. Participants in community activities are mothers. The activity was held at the Lamglumpang village mosque. The implementation of this activity with the opening of the event by the village head, introductions, distribution of pre-test questionnaires, provision of material for 30 minutes followed by a question and answer discussion and distribution of post-test questionnaires. The results of the pre-test and post-test showed an increase in community understanding of physical activity against non-communicable diseases. Understanding of physical activity pres-test amounted to 1.40% and post-test understanding amounted to 1.53%. understanding of physical activity increased after being given socialization to the community.

Abstract

Washing hands 6 steps is one way that can be used to overcome disease problems such as diarrhea or intestinal worms. This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge of children in Village Lamteube Geupula in carrying out hand washing. The socialization method is carried out by counseling and demonstrations, this activity is carried out for approximately 2 hours and evaluation. The results obtained from this community service are changes in children's knowledge about 6-step hand washing. This community service activity was carried out on June 27 2023 in the village multipurpose hall, at 10.00 WIB until it finished at 11.40 WIB. Intervention activities were carried out by lecturers and students. Activities carried out directly with counseling and demonstrations. The target of community service activities is 26 children in Village Lamteube Geupula.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran karakter personal guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas V SD Inpres Bulogading I Desa Bontobiraeng Kecamatan Bontonompo, untuk Mengetahui minat belajar siswa kelas V SD Inpres Bulogading I Desa Bontobiraeng Kecamatan Bontonompo dan untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas V SD Inpres Bulogading I Desa Bontobiraeng Kecamatan Bontonompo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif karena mengutamakan data tentang analisis karakter personal guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu teknik pengumpulan data melalui teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakter personal guru pendidikan agama Islam di SD Inpres bulogading I yaitu berbagai macam karakter, antara lain disiplin, jujur, sabar, adil, teladan, istiqomah dan beribawa. Dari semua karakter tersebut harus dimiliki oleh setiap guru agar dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas V SD Inpres Bulogading I. Adapun minat belajar siswa kelas V SD Inpres Bulogading I ditandai dengan siswa mengikuti proses belajar mengajar dengan perasaan senang dan bahagia, bersemangat dalam belajar, siswa hadir tepat waktu dan siswa berpartisipasi aktif di kelas dengan guru melakukan 7 karakter personal guru yaitu disiplin, jujur, adil, sabar, teladan, istiqomah dan berwibawa. Hal ini disebabkan dengan adanya beberapa upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa yaitu guru menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan, guru yang humoris, guru mengikuti pelatihan, serta mengukur minat belajar siswa dengan memberikan evaluasi. Adapun Faktor pendukung dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa yaitu guru yang selalu sabar, adil dan berwibawa yang dapat menjadikan siswa selalu bersemangat dalam belajar di kelas. Adapun faktor penghambat dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa yaitu faktor siswa yang susah diatur dalam kelas dan fasilitas yang kurang memadai.

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the global public health issues with serious implications as it may lead to severe complications such as stroke, coronary heart disease, and kidney failure. Elderly individuals are among the most vulnerable groups, with the highest prevalence found in the age group of 65–74 years (57.6%) and those over 75 years (63.8%). Non-pharmacological treatment for hypertension includes regular and consistent elderly gymnastics. This study aims to examine the effect of elderly gymnastics on blood pressure among elderly individuals with hypertension at the Rumoh Sejahtera Geunaseh Sayang Nursing Home, Ulee Kareng, Banda Aceh. The study applied a quasi-experimental design with a deductive approach. The population consisted of 55 elderly individuals, and 17 were selected as the sample using total sampling technique. The elderly gymnastics intervention was conducted three times a week, from April 17th to 22nd, 2025. Blood pressure was measured before and after the intervention using a pre-test and post-test observation sheet. Data analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon test, suitable for non-parametric data. Results showed that on the first day, there was no significant difference in systolic and diastolic blood pressure (p = 0.091). On the second day, systolic blood pressure showed a significant decrease (p = 0.003), while diastolic pressure remained non-significant (p = 0.161). On the third session, a significant reduction occurred in both systolic (p = 0.000) and diastolic (p = 0.001) blood pressure. Conclusion: Elderly gymnastics has an effect on reducing blood pressure in elderly individuals with hypertension. This intervention may serve as an effective and applicable non-pharmacological therapy in daily life.

Abstract

The suitability of a building is determined not only by its physical condition, but also by the environment in which it stands. One example is the 26 Ilir Flats, which was initially touted as a modern area in Palembang City. However, the current condition is actually the opposite, where the flats have turned into a slum and are considered uninhabitable. However, these flats are still rented out. This study aims to determine the implementation of the ijarah contract in the 26 Ilir Flats in Palembang City and analyze it from the perspective of Islamic economic law in the context of uninhabitable houses. The research method used is qualitative with an empirical juridical approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation with related parties, both apartment owners and tenants. The results of the study indicate deviations in the implementation of the ijarah contract, particularly in aspects of residential suitability that are not in accordance with Islamic principles, such as clarity of benefits and security of the leased object. In a review of Islamic economic law, the implementation of the ijarah contract in uninhabitable houses does not fully meet the requirements for a valid contract due to the lack of clear benefits and security guarantees for the tenant. Therefore, this study recommends the need for supervision and improvement by authorities to ensure that rental contracts are carried out in accordance with the principles of justice, welfare, and transparency as stipulated in Islamic economic law.

Abstract

The admission of patients to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Intensive Cardiology Care Unit (ICCU) often occurs suddenly and under critical conditions, causing family members to experience psychological pressure such as anxiety, stress, and fear of losing their loved ones. This study aims to analyze the relationship between family knowledge and the level of anxiety among family members of patients treated in the ICU at Meuraxa General Hospital, Banda Aceh. The research employed a quantitative method with a descriptive correlational design and a cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of 114 patient families, with 35 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The instrument used was the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS), which demonstrated high reliability (α = 0.897). Data were collected from June 18 to July 5, 2025, and analyzed using univariate and bivariate methods with the chi-square test. The results showed that 19 respondents (54.3%) experienced moderate anxiety, while 14 respondents (40%) had low knowledge regarding ICU/ICCU care. Statistical analysis revealed a p-value of 0.005, indicating a significant relationship between family knowledge and anxiety levels. These findings highlight the importance of healthcare professionals in providing education to family members to improve understanding and help reduce anxiety during the patient’s treatment period in the ICU or ICCU.
