Abstract

Guru berperan sangat penting dalam proses pembelajaran salah satu denganmemilih media pembelajaran yang tepat. Pada masa sekarang ini guru masih banyakmengalami kesulitan dalam menjelaskan materi pembelajaran yang disebabkan olehmateri yang terlalu banyak dengan waktu yang singkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengetahui Pengembangan Media Pembelajran E-Learning Berbasis Edmodo PadaMata Pelajaran Biologi. Ini Penelitian dilakukan dengan mereview beberapa jurnalberskala nasional di Indonesia. Jurnal yang digunakan sebanyak 2 jurnal yang ISSN.Hasil yang didapat dari review jurnal adalah bahwa media pembelajaran berbasisedmodo layak untuk digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar. Hal ini dibuktikandengan penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Megawati Apriliyana (2017), Epinur, Yusnidar,dan Lestrai Eka Putri(2013)Teachers play a very important role in the learning process, one of which is bychoosing the right learning media. At this time, teachers still have many difficulties inexplaining learning material caused by too much material in a short time. This studyaims to determine the development of Edmodo-Based E-Learning Learning Media inBiology Subjects. This research was conducted by reviewing several national-scalejournals in Indonesia. The journals used were 2 journals with ISSN. The resultsobtained from the journal review are that the Edmodo-based learning media isfeasible to be used in the teaching and learning process. Abstract

Implementation of learning is one of the main tasks of teachers to teach students. The intended learning is the creation of conditions that allow it to occur in students. Learning will improve cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities, these abilities are accompanied by experience gained during the learning process that applies anywhere and anytime and can be applied in everyday life. One of the materials for class XI that is difficult for students to understand is the material on the digestive system. One way that can be done is to make it easier for students to understand the material on the digestive system by developing Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) oriented student worksheets teaching materials, with this worksheet students can relate learning materials to everyday life. Student worksheet (LKPD) development is carried out using 3 stages of 4-D model development. The stages are defined, design, and develop. The data collection instruments used were validity and response questionnaires. The student worksheets were validated by 3 validators and a response test was conducted on 25 students of class XI and one Biology teacher at SMA Negeri 2 Lembang Jaya. This research produces student worksheets with Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) orientation on the digestive system material for class XI. The results of the validity of the student worksheets obtained 91.78% with very valid criteria both in terms of the feasibility of content, language, presentation, and graphics. The results of the teacher's assessment of the practicality of the student worksheets obtained an average of 93.28% with practical criteria and an average student assessment of 86.65% with very practical criteria in terms of ease of use, efficient learning time, and benefits. It can be concluded that the student worksheets (LKPD) oriented to Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) with a valid category and the responses of teachers and students about its practicality are included in the very practical category.

Abstract

The use of good and appropriate learning media will provide benefits for teachers and students because it can help smooth the teaching and learning process and is very beneficial for students because it can help improve the introduction and understanding of the material being taught. Based on the observations of researchers at SMA Negeri 2 Padang Panjang and interviews with biology teachers, information was obtained that the biology learning media used were Powerpoint, modules, supporting books such as encyclopedias, learning videos from Youtube, and Student Worksheets (LKPD). From the results of the interview, it was revealed that the students had difficulty in understanding the protist material. This type of research is development research using the Instructional Development Institute (IDI) model. The research subjects were two biology lecturers, FMIPA UNP, one teacher and 30 students of class X SMAN 2 Padang Panjang. The object of this research is learning media using the emaze application about protist material for class X students. The research data is the validity data obtained directly through the provision of validity questionnaires to the research subjects. The results showed that the learning media using the emaze application about protist material for class X high school students was very valid with an average validity value of 90.23%. So it can be concluded that the learning media using the emaze application about protist material for class X high school students is very valid

Abstract

Seorang guru harus bisa memilih media pembelajaran yang cocok diberikan ke peserta didik agar mudah dimengerti oleh peserta didik, serta mampu meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik. Inovasi pembelajaran dapat memudahkan peserta didik mempelajari materi yang disampaikan oleh guru. Salah satu inovasi media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan dan dikembangkan yaitu puzzle. Penelitian ini betujuan untuk menganalisis praktikalitas penggunaan puzzle terhadap guru dan peserta didik. Praktikalitas merupakan kemudahan penggunaan produk yang dikembangkan. Meta-analisis dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan artikel sejenis dengan cara mencari artikel dari beberapa jurnal melalui internet. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 15 artikel terkait penggunaan puzzle. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa rata-rata tingkat praktikalitas penggunaan e-modul oleh guru sebesar 90,26 dengan kategori sangat praktis, sedangkan rerata tingkat praktikalitas oleh peserta didik sebesar 90,35 dengan kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis praktikalitas puzzle yang dikembangkan dapat dikategorikan praktis sehingga layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research aims to gain insights into the influence of the Project-based learning model on the enhancement of creative thinking skills among high school students in the subject of biology. The low creative thinking skills of high school students and the teacher-centered learning model, which typically involves lectures, have prompted the need for a more active learning process that involves students in the learning process. The Project-based learning model has been identified as a suitable approach for this purpose. To conduct the research, an expost facto method was employed, involving a review of relevant literature on the topic. The findings of the study indicate that the Project-based learning model has a positive impact on the creative thinking skills of high school students, as evidenced by an increase in the average scores of the students. This research adds to the body of knowledge on effective learning methods and has practical implications for educators seeking to enhance the creative thinking skills of their students. Further research could be conducted to explore the potential of the Project-based learning model in other subjects and at different educational levels. Additionally, it would be valuable to examine the long-term effects of the Project-based learning model on the creative thinking skills of students, as well as its potential to foster other desirable outcomes such as critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Abstract

Biology learning is a field of science that requires students to think critically, creatively, and analytically in order to solve problems in each material they study. It is important for students to have the right strategies for learning, and teachers as professionals who teach students must be able to develop effective and efficient learning for students. According to various research, the implementation of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) based learning has a significant impact on students' learning skills. STEM is a suitable alternative for 21st century learning. Through the interconnections of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, students can solve real-life problems in a systematic manner. The purpose of this article is to analyze the effect of implementing the STEM approach on biology learning. The method used in this article is a literature review method through a review of literature from various sources relevant to the discussion. The results obtained from this article are the influence of the implementation of the STEM approach on biology learning, namely, in improving students' learning outcomes, students' science literacy skills, students' critical thinking skills, students' creativity, and students' scientific thinking skills. Therefore, the application of STEM-based learning can be used as an alternative solution to empower 21st century skills of students, especially in biology learning.

Abstract

Keberhasilan belajar peserta didik tidak telepas dari pemilihan model model pembelajaran yang inovatif, kreatif dan juga memberikan stimulus kepada peserta didik agar lebih aktif dalam pembelajaran, yang mana akan diterapkan guru dalam proses pembelajaan. Proses pembelajaran yang dipusatkan pada guru atau masih menggunakan model pembelajaran ceramah akan berdampak pada peserta didik dan akan menyebabkan rendahnya keterampilan proses sains peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk megidetifikasi pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dalam mengembangkan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional yaitu model pembelajaran ceramah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Systematic Literature Riview. Artikel yang digunakan harus relevan dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dalam mengembangkan keterampilan proses sains pesesrta didik. Artikel ilmiah yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu berjumlah maksimal 20 jurnal. Hasil penelitian dari analisi Systematic Literature Riview menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dapat megembangakn Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) peserta didik. Model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing memiliki kelebihan yang membuat peserta didik mampu megembangkan kemampuan intelektual psesrta didik dan dapat menyelesaikan masalah. Model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dapat memberi peningkatan dalam megembangkan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik.   kata kunci:  Model Inkuiri Terbimbing, Keterampilan Proses Sains The success of student learning cannot be separated from the selection of innovative learning models, creative learning, and  also make  the students stimulated to be more active in learning, which the teacher will apply in the learning process. The learning process that is centered on the teacher or still using the lecture learning model will have an impact on students and will cause students' scientific process skills to be low. This study aims to identify the effect of the guided inquiry learning model in developing students' science process skills compared to the conventional learning model, namely the lecture learning model. The research method used is Systematic Literature Review. The articles used must be relevant to the guided inquiry learning method in developing students' science process skills. The scientific articles used in this research are up to 20 journals. The results of the analysis of the Systematic Literature Review show that the guided inquiry learning model can develop students' science process skills (KPS). The guided inquiry learning model has advantages that enable students to develop students' intellectual abilities and can solve problems. Abstract

Kualitas pendidikan di indonesia saat ini tergolong buruk, hal tersebut ditandai dengan rendahnya hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran yang menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa juga rendah. Hal yang menjadi penyebab rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa adalah karena penggunaan model pembelajaran yang kurang tepat. Model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning diduga mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning yaitu model yang menjadikan suasana belajar aktif dengan membimbing siswa untuk menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan dan mencari solusi untuk permasalahan tersebut secara berkelompok. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Métode penelitian yang dipakai adalah métode studi literatur. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder yang didapatkan dari artikel-artikel yang relevan. Dari hasil rekapitulasi data beberapa artikel terkait, dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran Biologi. From the results of the data recapitulation of several related articles, it can be seen that there is an effect of using the Problem Based Learning thinking skills. Abstract

Bahan ajar merupakan salah satu kompenen penting dalam pembelajaran. Namun, dalam pengembangan bahan ajar yang tepat dalam membantu peserta didik untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran menjadi salah satu masalah penting pada saat ini. Apalagi pengembangan bahan ajar yang harus sesuai dengan karakteristik kurikulum 2013 berbasis pendekatan  saintifik. Namun, pada hasil penulusuran penulis menemukan bahwasanya masih banyak kendala dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar yang terintegrasi pendekatan saintifik diantaranya pemilihan dan penentuan bahan ajar yang tepat sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran, mendesain bahan ajar, tidak semua sekolah yang memiliki distribusi  prasarana dari pemerintah ke lembaga pendidikan, dan kurangnya antusiasme tenaga pendidik dalam mengupayakan solusi untuk permasalahan tersebut. Oleh karena itu, penulis mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis  artikel yang memuat bahan ajar yang layak dan relevan terintegrasi pendekatan saintifik agar lebih mudah untuk diketahui oleh guru ataupun pembaca untuk dijadikan referensi dalam pengembangan bahan ajar yang terintegrasi pendekatan saintifik. Artikel ini ditulis dengan menggunakan metode literatur review dengan menganalisis beberapa artikel yang relevan dengan judul. Dari hasil studi literatur dan analisis penulis diketahui bahwasanya sudah ada beberapa bahan ajar yang terintegrasi pendekatan saintifik telah dikembangkan baik dalam bentuk cetak seperti LKPD, Modul, dan buku ataupun dalam bentuk elektronik seperti E-Modul. Dari hasil studi literatur ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar yang terintegrasi pendekatan saintifik diantaranya buku ajar, modul, E-modul, dan LKPD yang telah dikembangkan sangat layak digunakan dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to provide scientific information and knowledge concerning to the update of the immune system topic which is closely related to COVID-19. This activity provides health information toward science and biology teachers regarding efforts to maintain immunity during the COVID-19 pandemic. Teachers need to develop the learning process, so that teachers are able to present learning that is innovative, interactive, interesting, meaningful, and fun. The approachment taken by providing training in the case method learning, case method provides stimulation to teachers on how to create development in the learning process. This activity took place in Aka Barayun, Harau, Lima Puluh Kota regency. This activity was attended by 50 teachers of Science and Biology Lima Puluh Kota regency. Most of the teacher's agree with the implementation of the case method as an innovative learning method integrated with the COVID-19 pandemic phenomenon. This case method training can increase teacher knowledge in developing learning method. Based on the results of the pre-test questionnaire given to teachers before the training began, 64% of teachers did not know the case method learning. Most of teacher 57% strongly agree and the rest of the teacher 43% agree to integrate cases in the learning process as the starting point of the learning process.
