Abstract

This research examines the effects of credit risk, liquidity risk, operational efficiency, and green banking on the profitability of state-owned (Badan Usaha Milik Negara or BUMN) and privately owned national (Badan Usaha Milik Swasta or BUMS) commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2020–2024 period. Credit risk is measured using the Non-Performing Loan (NPL) ratio, liquidity risk is measured using the Loan-to-Deposit Ratio (LDR), operational efficiency is measured using the Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO) ratio, and green banking is measured based on the level of sustainable banking implementation, while profitability is proxied by the Net Interest Margin (NIM). This quantitative descriptive-verificative study uses secondary data obtained from annual reports and audited financial statements. The sample consists of 14 banks selected through purposive sampling during the 2020–2024 period, resulting in 70 panel observations analyzed using panel data regression with EViews 9. The Random Effects Model (REM) was selected as the most appropriate model based on the Chow, Hausman, and Lagrange Multiplier tests and fulfilled the requirements of classical assumption testing. The results show that NPL has a negative and significant effect on NIM, whereas LDR has a positive and significant effect. Conversely, BOPO and green banking have no significant effect on NIM. Simultaneously, the four independent variables do not have a significant effect on profitability, with an Adjusted R² value of only 6.84 percent. State-owned banks also outperformed privately owned banks across all six indicators examined. These findings indicate that effective credit risk and liquidity management remain key determinants of banking profitability, while the benefits of green banking are more likely to emerge over the long term. The findings provide valuable insights for bank management, regulators, and future researchers.

Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique through SmartPLS 4 software. The results show that Financial Literacy has a significant positive effect on the Decision to Use. Friend Influence is also proven to have a significant positive effect on the Decision to Use. Furthermore, Perceived Ease of Use has a significant positive effect on Perceived Enjoyment, and Perceived Enjoyment has a significant positive effect on the Decision to Use. The findings are expected to provide theoretical contributions to the development of technology adoption models as well as practical contributions to the banking industry in formulating appropriate marketing strategies to increase digital bank usage among young generations. Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital banking services has led financial institutions to strengthen user interaction through user experience and gamification strategies. This study aims to analyze the effect of user experience and gamification on user engagement in the Livin by Mandiri application, with user satisfaction as a mediating variable. This quantitative study used primary data collected through online questionnaires distributed to 234 users in the Jakarta area. Data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with SmartPLS 4 software. The results show that both user experience and gamification significantly influence user satisfaction, while user satisfaction positively affects user engagement. However, user experience and gamification do not directly influence engagement. The study concludes that user satisfaction serves as a crucial mediating factor linking system design and motivational features to sustainable engagement in digital banking services.

Abstract

This study aims to design and build a local web-based application that prepares the financial statements of Nur Hidayah Rusmaniah Foundation, an Islamic education foundation managing three units whose finances were previously recorded manually without a standardized accounting cycle. The application applies SAK EP for recognition and measurement and ISAK 335 for the presentation of five financial statement components. Development followed the Modified Waterfall with Prototyping method, combined with the ADDIE model to produce a guidance module for a treasurer without an accounting background. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, document analysis, and literature study. Testing consisted of batch-based dummy testing with historical transactions, Black Box Testing, and a user understanding test. The application generated all five statements required by ISAK 335 with results identical to manual reconstruction, passed every functional scenario, and the revised module enabled the treasurer to begin operating the system independently.

Abstract

Student Collaboration is one of the essential 21stcentury skills included in the 4C competencies (Creativity, Critical Thinking, Communication, and Collaboration). This skill is important to be developed in the learning process because it can enhance students’ communication and collaboration abilities. However, preliminary observations indicated that students' collaboration was still not optimal, as shown by low participation in group discussions and limited communication among students. This study aimed to improve students' collaboration through the implementation of the Team-Based Learning (TBL) model. This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was conducted in two cycles using a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects consisted of 34 class XI Accounting students at SMK Negeri 2 Jakarta. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with purposive sampling based on predetermined criteria. The results showed that the implementation of Team-Based Learning was able to improve students' collaboration in each cycle. The average collaboration score increased from 75 in the pre-cycle to 84 in Cycle I and 93 in Cycle II. The improvement was indicated by increased students' active participation in group discussions, communication skills, individual responsibility in completing group tasks, and mutual respect among group members. Therefore, the Team-Based Learning model was proved effective in improving students' collaboration in Accounting Practice learning.
