Abstract

The primary issue addressed in this study pertains to the diminished levels of engagement and suboptimal learning outcomes observed among students in mathematics instruction highlighted by ongoing difficulties in understanding the material. This research seeks to explore the impact of differentiated instruction on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at UPT SPF SDN 43 Mattirowalie. This study employed a quantitative research approach, utilizing a pre-experimental design characterized by the One Group Pretest-Posttest methodology. The research procedure included the initial stage, implementation stage, and evaluation stage. The subjects in this study were 24 fifth-grade students of UPT SPF SDN 43 Mattirowalie, Kindang District, Bulukumba Regency. The results indicated that the implementation of differentiated learning positively impacted students' mathematics learning outcomes. The average score for students' mathematics performance improved significantly, rising from 31.74 (very low category) in the pretest to 64.78 (fairly good category) in the posttest. The significance value demonstrated a notable difference (0.010 < 0.05). Furthermore, the N-Gain analysis demonstrated an average normalized gain of 0.4749, categorizing it within the moderate range. These findings suggested that differentiated learning significantly influences the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at UPT SPF SDN 43 Mattirowalie.

Abstract

This study is a classroom action research aimed at determining the improvement in alphabet recognition skills with the help of alphabet cards. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the use of alphabet cards in Indonesian language lessons can improve students' alphabet recognition skills. This result can be seen and proven from the average results of the calculations in cycle I and cycle II. The average score in cycle I was 54, while the average score in cycle II was 76. Therefore, the analysis of students' alphabet recognition skills proves that the use of alphabet cards can improve the alphabet recognition skills of first-grade students at UPT SDN 29 Banyuanyara in Indonesian language lessons.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the Wordwall application in improving the understanding of fifth-grade students at SD Muhammadiyah Perumnas regarding the concept of plane geometry. The research employed a quantitative pre-experimental approach with a one-group pre-test and post-test design involving 20 students. Data analysis was conducted using a paired sample t-test and N-gain score calculation. The results showed that the average pre-test score of 25.70 increased significantly to 88.45 in the post-test. The paired sample t-test indicated a significance value of 0.000, which is lower than 0.05, meaning that there is a significant difference between the results before and after the treatment.

Abstract

Pendekatan disiplin positif merupakan metode pengelolaan perilaku yang berfokus pada pembentukan hubungan saling hormat dan percaya antara pendidik dan peserta didik. Pendekatan ini penting untuk diterapkan di sekolah-sekolah karena mengedepankan kesadaran diri, tanggung jawab pribadi, dan pemecahan masalah secara konstruktif tanpa menggunakan hukuman atau ancaman. Disiplin positif diyakini mampu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman dan nyaman, sehingga relevan untuk mendukung program Sekolah Penggerak. Lokakarya ini menggunakan metode partisipatif, melibatkan pengawas sekolah, kepala sekolah, dan dua perwakilan guru dari tiga sekolah dasar, yaitu SD Negeri 85 Labettang, SD Negeri 92 Panaikang, dan SD Negeri 103 Bontompare di Kabupaten Sinjai. Kegiatan yang diadakan pada Sabtu, 6 Mei 2024 ini menghasilkan dua produk utama: keyakinan kelas sebagai pedoman perilaku dan rencana dukungan implementasi disiplin positif bagi guru dan sekolah. Hasil lokakarya ini sangat penting karena membantu guru menciptakan suasana kelas yang kondusif, memperkuat hubungan antara pendidik dan peserta didik, serta meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Dukungan ini diharapkan mampu mendorong keberhasilan Program Sekolah Penggerak di tingkat sekolah dasar. Secara keseluruhan, lokakarya ini memberikan dampak positif dengan membekali guru dan sekolah strategi efektif dalam menerapkan disiplin positif. Implementasi berkelanjutan dari produk yang dihasilkan akan mendukung terciptanya budaya sekolah yang lebih inklusif dan mendukung pengembangan peserta didik secara holistik.

Abstract

HAJRAWATI. 2026. The Effect of Puzzle Media on Student Learning Outcomes in Mathematics Learning in Grade III of SD Negeri 155 Inpres Galesong. Thesis. Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. Supervised by Andi Husniati and Kristiawati. This study aims to determine the effect of using puzzle media on students' mathematics learning outcomes on fractions in grade III of SD Negeri 155 Inpres Galesong. The type of research used is a pre-experimental study with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study were all 25 grade III students of SD Negeri 155 Inpres Galesong, consisting of 17 female students and 8 male students. The research sample was all 25 grade III students. The sampling technique used a saturated sampling technique, namely the entire population was used as the research sample. The instruments used in this study included learning outcome tests in the form of pretests and posttests to measure improvements in student learning outcomes, as well as documentation to support the research data. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics using a paired t-test. The results showed that the average pretest score for students was 57.20, categorized as low, while the average posttest score increased to 85.44, categorized as high. Hypothesis testing was conducted using a paired sample t-test. Based on the analysis using the paired sample t-test, the calculated t-value was -13.034 with a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000. The t-table value at a significance level of α = 0.05 with df = 24 degrees of freedom was 2.064. Since the calculated t-value = -13.034 > t-table = 2.064 and the significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of puzzle media has a significant influence on students' mathematics learning outcomes on fraction material in class III of SD Negeri 155 Inpres Galesong."

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of using PhET-based interactive technology on students' learning outcomes in mathematics operations. This study is quantitative in nature, using a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population of this study was all fourth-grade students. Saturated sampling was used, with a total of 21 students consisting of 11 boys and 10 girls. The data collection instruments used were student activity observation sheets and tests to measure students' learning outcomes in mathematical operations. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive and inferential analysis, namely the t-test. The descriptive statistical data results show that the average score for learning outcomes in mathematical calculation before using PhET-based interactive technology was 53.80, while the average score for learning outcomes after using PhET-based interactive technology was 87.14. This shows that there is a difference in learning outcomes in mathematical calculation before and after using PhET-based interactive technology. The t-test analysis data shows that the t-count = 2.429 and t-table = 1.725, so t-count = 2.429 > t-table 1.725, which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of PhET-based interactive technology has an effect on the mathematical calculation operations of second-grade students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Malengkeri 1.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre eksperimen dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV UPT SPF SD Inpres Barombong 3 pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2023/2024 dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV yang diambil secara acak dengan total 25 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Tes Hasil Belajar (pretest dan posttest), Lembar Observasi Aktivitas Siswa, Angket Respons Siswa dan Lembar Observasi Keterlaksanaan Pembelajaran. Analisis data penelitian ini meliputi analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil yang diperoleh dari analisis statistik deskriptif adalah sebagai berikut : (1) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan Problem Based Learning berbantuan LKPD Liveworksheet berada pada kategori baik dengan rata-rata 3,8 (2) skor rata-rata tes hasil belajar matematika siswa setelah diterapkan pendekatan Problem Based Learning berbantuan LKPD Liveworksheet adalah 82,48 dari 25 siswa  atau 92% telah mencapai ketuntasan individu dan menunjukkan bahwa ketuntasan secara klasikal telah tercapai. (3) rata-rata persentase frekuensi aktivitas siswa selama pembelajaran yaitu 81,6 %. (4) respons positif siswa terhadap penerapan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan LKPD Liveworksheet sebesar 91%. Hasil anaslisis statistik inferensial menunjukkan bahwa untuk tingkat keyakinan 95% diperoleh informasi; (1) skor rata-rata postest siswa melampaui nilai KKM, (2) skor rata-rata gain ternormalisir minimal berada pada kategori “sedang” (3) ketuntasan klasikal siswa lebih dari 80%, dan (4) para siswa merespons positif penerapan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan LKPD Liveworksheet dalam pembelajaran matematika dikelas. Dengan demikian penerapan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan LKPD Liveworksheet efektif diterapkan pada siswa Kelas IV UPT SPF SD Inpres Barombong 3.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to explore students’ mathematical resilience in overcoming learning barriers through AI-assisted mathematics learning at SMP Negeri 2 Tombolopao. Methods: This study employed a qualitative case study design involving junior high school students with varying levels of mathematical ability. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, field notes, and documentation of students’ interactions with Artificial Intelligence-based learning systems. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis through coding, categorization, and theme identification to examine learning barriers, adaptive strategies, and the role of Artificial Intelligence in supporting mathematical resilience. Findings: The findings revealed that students experienced multidimensional learning barriers, including difficulties in conceptual understanding, mathematics anxiety, low self-confidence, and weak self-regulation. AI-assisted learning supported students by providing immediate feedback, flexible learning opportunities, and emotionally safe environments that encouraged persistence, reflective thinking, and adaptive problem-solving strategies. Students demonstrated increased confidence and willingness to retry mathematical tasks after interacting with Artificial Intelligence-based learning support. Research Implications: This study contributes theoretically to the development of mathematical resilience in digital learning contexts and provides practical implications for integrating Artificial Intelligence into mathematics instruction to support adaptive and student-centered learning at the junior high school level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan E-LKPD berbasis REACT (Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang didukung oleh data kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah satu orang guru matematika dan 91 peserta didik kelas VII di SMP Negeri 53 Makassar. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket berbasis google form. Data kualitatif dianalisis secara reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan, sedangkan data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan persentase. Hasil observasi dan wawancara menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika masih didominasi metode ceramah dan latihan soal rutin sehingga keterlibatan aktif peserta didik belum optimal. Hasil analisis kebutuhan peserta didik menunjukkan adanya kesulitan dalam memahami matematika dan menyelesaikan masalah matematis. Peserta didik mengharapkan pembelajaran yang interaktif dan kontekstual, serta menunjukkan kebutuhan yang tinggi terhadap pengembangan E-LKPD sebanyak 89,2% dengan fitur interaktif, gambar dan video pembelajaran. Analisis kebutuhan guru menunjukkan perlunya bahan ajar digital yang interaktif, kontekstual dan mampu mendukung pengembangan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Selain itu, peserta didik menunjukkan kesiapan yang tinggi dalam penggunaan perangkat pembelajaran digital ditunjukkan dengan kepemikikan smartphone sebanyak 96,8%, akses internet sebanyak 95,7%. Berdasarkan hal tesebut, pengembangan E-LKPD berbasis REACT dinilai relevan dan diperlukan untuk mendukung pembelajaran matematika yang lebih kontekstual, interaktif dan berpusat pada peserta didik serta berpotensi meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil pemahaman konsep penjumlahan dan pengurangan pada siswa diskalkulia di Sekolah Dasar, serta mengidentifikasi strategi berhitung dan kesulitan spesifik yang dialami. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah satu orang siswa kelas II SD yang teridentifikasi memiliki karakteristik diskalkulia berdasarkan kriteria yang ditetapkan. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes tertulis (12 soal penjumlahan dan pengurangan), wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan observasi perilaku. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña yang mencakup kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek mampu menjelaskan makna penjumlahan dan pengurangan hanya dengan bantuan benda konkret, dominan menggunakan strategi counting all dengan waktu detik per soal, serta mengalami kesulitan signifikan pada teknik menyimpan ( dijawab ) dan teknik meminjam ( dijawab bergantian ). Lima kesulitan spesifik yang diidentifikasi meliputi pemahaman nilai tempat yang lemah, ketergantungan pada jari, pemahaman instrumental (hafal prosedur tanpa memahami makna), kecemasan matematika tinggi, dan inkonsistensi strategi. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa profil pemahaman subjek mengonfirmasi teori diskalkulia sebagai gangguan neurokognitif spesifik yang memerlukan pendekatan pembelajaran terstruktur, konkret, dan suportif. Saran penelitian ditujukan kepada guru, orang tua, sekolah, dan peneliti selanjutnya untuk mengembangkan intervensi yang tepat sasaran berbasis pemahaman profil kognitif anak diskalkulia.
