Abstract

Abstract. The tourism sector, the economy, and the industries that support it have all been severely damaged by the worldwide pandemic. Several of the tourism industry's market segments, such as lodging, dining, and travel agencies, are at saturation. To maintain a sustainable competitive advantage and achieve the intended results, companies need to have a well-defined plan of action to navigate the constantly shifting business landscape. This study will examine the mediating role of organizational strategic orientation in the performance of travel agency companies in the face of environmental uncertainty. The data is collected via a questionnaire and then PLS-SEM analysis is performed. The results show that the choice of an organization's strategic orientation, which includes market and entrepreneurial orientations that can impact learning orientation and organizational performance of travel agency companies, is influenced by technology uncertainty. As a component of a vibrant and alluring travel industry, travel agency businesses must be flexible and inventive in the face of ongoing technological advancements. This can be achieved through organizational strategy orientation, which emphasizes market and entrepreneurial orientations to boost the performance of travel agency businesses. Abstract

This research aims to analyze TikTok's role in delivering marketing messages effectively to younger generations, particularly Generation Z and millennials. A qualitative approach was employed through a literature study method to explore relevant theories and findings comprehensively. The study investigates how TikTok’s unique features—such as short-form videos, algorithmic personalization, and high interactivity—contribute to the effectiveness of marketing communication. Through an in-depth examination of existing literature, the research reveals that TikTok functions not only as a promotional tool but also as a platform for brands to establish emotional engagement and long-term loyalty with consumers. The findings indicate that TikTok’s interactive nature, combined with influencer collaborations and user-generated content, significantly enhances brand visibility and trust. Brands that leverage these features are more likely to connect with their audience authentically, resulting in increased engagement and stronger brand-consumer relationships. Furthermore, TikTok campaigns are shown to drive viral trends that amplify marketing messages organically, offering cost-effective exposure

Abstract

Conflicts between community organizations (ormas) and retired military/police personnel in several cases have led to legal violations, including hate speech, incitement, and physical violence. This article aims to analyze the aspects of constitutional law and criminal law related to these conflicts, as well as the state's responsibility in ensuring public order. The research employs a qualitative method with a statutory and case study approach. The analysis shows that weak law enforcement against community organizations and related actors reflects the state's inconsistency in upholding the principles of the rule of law. The state has a constitutional obligation to ensure that freedom of association is not misused for political interests and violence.

Abstract

Flooding is one of the most frequent natural disasters in Indonesia, particularly in densely populated areas such as urban regions. The main cause is the delayed response in anticipating rising river water levels. One contributing factor is the continued use of manual river water monitoring systems. However, these systems often face challenges under various lighting and weather conditions. This study presents a comparison of two segmentation models, YOLOv11 and Mask R-CNN, for river water level detection. These models are evaluated for their application in real-time water level monitoring systems for dams and rivers under diverse lighting conditions. Data was gathered from publicly available sources, including river monitoring CCTV footage and social media content related to river activities, followed by annotation for model training. The YOLOv11 model, implemented using the Ultralytics framework and PyTorch library, achieved a mean Average Precision (mAP) at IoU (Intersection over Union) 50-95 of 99.657% and recall of 99.930%, demonstrating exceptional detection accuracy. The Mask R-CNN model, developed with Detectron2, attained an Average Precision (AP) at IoU 50-95 of 98.620% and a recall of 99.200%, also exhibiting high accuracy. Both models were tested in real-time scenarios, where they accurately detected water-level objects, although challenges arose under complex environmental conditions such as low light or water turbidity. To further enhance model performance, future work will focus on incorporating diverse environmental data and optimizing model parameters. In conclusion, YOLOv11 model offers higher accuracy and better resource efficiency, making it more suitable for real-time water level monitoring applications.

Abstract

Extracurricular activities are an important part of the holistic development of students which includes the formation of character, interests, talents, and social skills. However, many educational institutions still manage these activities manually through spreadsheets and printed documents, resulting in data duplication, information delays, and low transparency. This research aims to design and develop a web-based extracurricular information system to support the administration, monitoring, and evaluation of activities in an efficient and structured manner. The development of the system uses the Waterfall model chosen for its sequential and well-documented workflow, suitable for systems with predefined needs from the outset. The development stages include needs analysis, system design using UML, implementation with Laravel 9 and MySQL, as well as testing through the Black Box method and direct evaluation by the end user. The results of the Black Box test show that all system features are working according to specifications. Additionally, feedback from users shows a high level of satisfaction with the ease of use, navigation, and relevance of the features provided. This system successfully overcomes administrative challenges in managing extracurricular activities and is able to improve operational efficiency and user engagement. With the support of features such as automatic periodic assessments, PDF reports, notifications to parents, as well as a multilingual interface, the system has the potential to be more widely adopted by educational institutions that have similar contexts.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of night sports on reducing stress levels in housewives. The study used a one group pre-post test design experimental design. The population is all housewives in Sumberkepuh Village, Tanjunganom District, Nganjuk Regency with a sample of 22 respondents, using a purposive sampling technique. The independent variable is night sports (aerobics) and the dependent variable is the level of stress. The data analysis used the Wilcoxon statistical test. The results showed significant results (p = 0.001 and mean rank 11.50), which means that there was a decrease in the stress level of housewives after exercising. It is hoped that housewives will have free time to exercise to avoid stress due to prolonged and monotonous household chores.

Abstract

The enactment of Law Number 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (PDP Law) marks a significant milestone in safeguarding individual human rights in the digital sphere in Indonesia. This law responds to the urgent need for a comprehensive and unified regulatory framework to replace the previously fragmented sectoral approach that lacked standardization and legal certainty. The PDP Law establishes clear principles for data processing, defines the rights of data subjects, imposes obligations on data controllers and processors, and outlines systematic mechanisms for supervision and law enforcement. This legal framework provides legal certainty not only for individuals as data owners but also for institutions managing personal data, emphasizing transparency, accountability, and data security. However, the implementation of the PDP Law still faces several challenges, including the formation of an independent supervisory authority, institutional readiness, and the public’s limited awareness of data protection rights. Therefore, synergy among the government, private sector, and civil society is essential to ensure effective enforcement. The PDP Law is not merely a normative instrument but also reflects the state’s commitment to upholding citizens' privacy rights as part of broader human rights protection in the digital era.

Abstract

The escalating ecological crisis caused by climate change, pollution, and resource depletion demands urgent and transformative responses through a transition to a green economy. The green economy is viewed as a strategic solution to achieve sustainability and economic resilience by promoting responsible patterns of production and consumption. In this context, environmental communication plays a crucial role in disseminating sustainability values to the public, particularly through online media, which offers wide reach and interactive engagement. Local green communities, as grassroots actors, actively contribute to spreading green economic values by using digital communication strategies. This study aims to examine how local green communities use online media to convey environmental messages and raise public awareness of the green economy. Using a qualitative approach, this research seeks to contribute to the development of effective and contextual environmental communication strategies that support the broader transition toward sustainability.
