Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas sosialisasi pembuatan arang batok kelapa berkualitas tinggi kepada petani kelapa di Tanjung Jabung Timur. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan studi literatur, penelitian ini mengumpulkan dan menganalisis informasi mengenai teknik produksi dan pengolahan arang batok kelapa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi dan pelatihan yang diberikan secara langsung kepada petani berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mereka dalam memproduksi arang berkualitas. Penerapan teknik pembakaran yang tepat, seperti pengaturan suhu dan manajemen kelembapan, terbukti meningkatkan kualitas arang, yang selanjutnya berimbas pada peningkatan harga jual dari Rp 2.400 menjadi Rp 4.200 per kilogram. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kualitas produk tidak hanya meningkatkan pendapatan petani tetapi juga membuka peluang ekspor, berkontribusi pada perekonomian daerah. Abstract

This study aims to determine the marketing strategies implemented by fashion stores in Air Hitam Laut Village and their effectiveness in attracting consumer purchasing interest. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of store owners, employees, and regular and regular customers. The results indicate that the marketing strategies implemented include: (1) Product Strategy, namely providing a variety of clothing tailored to consumer needs and current fashion trends; (2) Pricing Strategy, through competitive pricing and seasonal discounts; (3) Promotion Strategy, carried out verbally and digitally such as word of mouth, WhatsApp, and Facebook; (4) Location Strategy, with stores strategically located on main roads and near densely populated residential areas; and (5) Service Strategy, in the form of friendly and communicative service, which strengthens consumer loyalty.

Abstract

The study purpose was to analyze the role of Rumah Makan Uda Nasrul in improving the welfare of its employees in Kelurahan Mendahara Ilir, Kecamatan Mendahara, Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur. This study explores how a single small-scale food business can significantly contribute to the economic and social well-being of its workers, particularly in rural areas with limited employment opportunities. The focus is on income stability, working environment, and the indirect social benefits gained by the employees. Materials and methods. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Primary data were gathered from in-depth interviews with employees and the business owner, while secondary data included relevant documents and local employment statistics. The analysis used interactive techniques involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The selection of Rumah Makan Uda Nasrul as the research site was based on its consistent employment of local labor and its established reputation within the community. Results. The findings indicate that Rumah Makan Uda Nasrul provides a reliable monthly income ranging from Rp1,200,000 to Rp1,800,000 per employee, along with daily incentives and meal allowances. The work atmosphere is characterized by a strong sense of kinship, flexibility, and mutual respect. While formal social security programs like BPJS are not yet available, employees report increased financial independence, skill development, and improved quality of life due to stable employment. Conclusions. Rumah Makan Uda Nasrul plays a meaningful role in elevating employee welfare through stable income, a supportive work environment, and opportunities for informal learning. This case demonstrates how small local enterprises can serve as effective agents of community-based economic development.

Abstract

This study employed a qualitative approach. The data used in this study were primary and secondary data. The field research technique used was file research. 1). Observation, conducted by the author directly by observing various matters related to the writing. 2). Interviews, where the author conducted the writing through an individual approach and directly asked several informants. 3). Documentation, or data collection, conducted by the author by going into the field to collect data or documents that could provide an overview of the location and object. The results of this study showed that many customers gave tips to J&T couriers. From an Islamic perspective, tipping J&T couriers is essentially permissible, especially if the giving is a form of appreciation for good service and not coercion. Tipping J&T couriers is not an obligation, but rather a form of appreciation for the service provided by the courier to the customer, so that the customer feels satisfied with the courier's performance. These tips are given voluntarily without any request or coercion.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high level of competition among entrepreneurs, especially traders, in attracting consumer attention in order to increase sales. One solution that can be applied is an effective and efficient marketing strategy. This marketing strategy focuses on four main elements known as the marketing mix, namely product, pricing, distribution policy, and promotion. The marketing mix has an important role in ensuring the survival of a business. However, in practice, marketing strategies are often still based on conventional economic principles. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the application of marketing strategies in increasing sales. This study uses a qualitative method with a type of field research. Primary data were obtained through interviews with business owners, employees, and prospective business successors, namely the children of the owner of the banana chips business "Merasa." Meanwhile, secondary data were obtained from various relevant written reference sources. Data collection methods used in this study include interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of data analysis show that marketing strategies in increasing sales can be seen from three main aspects, namely: product strategies that focus on quality and innovation, pricing strategies that set competitive prices, and promotional strategies carried out to expand market reach. Thus, the right and targeted marketing strategy can be the main key in increasing sales and supporting the sustainability of the "Merasa" banana chips business.

Abstract

Tunas Dwipa Matra continues to innovate to improve competitiveness and customer satisfaction through the implementation of effective strategies. One of the strategic steps introduced is the Periodic Maintenance Coupon (KPB) program. KPB is an exclusive service in the form of service claims aimed at new motorcycle buyers as a form of appreciation and an effort to maintain long-term relationships with customers. In this program, new motorcycle buyers get facilities in the form of four periodic maintenance services as part of the vehicle purchase package. In the implementation of the first KPB, customers receive benefits in the form of free service accompanied by the provision of engine oil at no additional cost. This provides a double benefit, namely optimal engine maintenance as well as reduced maintenance costs for customers. Meanwhile, in the second, third, and fourth KPBs, customers are still entitled to free service even without additional engine oil. Thus, this program not only helps customers in maintaining their vehicles in prime condition but also encourages them to carry out routine maintenance. This KPB program is designed with a clear goal, namely to provide added value to customers and build their loyalty to Tunas Dwipa Matra products and services. By providing consistent and useful services, the company hopes to create a mutually beneficial relationship between the company and customers, while improving the brand image in the eyes of consumers. This strategy is expected to strengthen Tunas Dwipa Matra’s position as one of the best automotive service providers in the market.

Abstract

This study discusses three main problems, namely the role of MSME assistance in increasing the productivity of aid recipients, the process of distributing MSME assistance carried out by the Cooperatives and MSMEs Office, and the obstacles faced in distributing the assistance. This study uses a qualitative approach with primary and secondary data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The study was conducted on 15 business actors who received MSME assistance in Geragai District. The results showed that 80% (13 business actors) experienced business development, while 20% (2 business actors) showed no development. The results of the analysis concluded that the role of MSME assistance was very helpful in increasing income, product quality, production capacity, profit and loss, and business performance of aid recipients. The aid distribution process was carried out according to the rules stated in the Decree (SK), involving the village and sub-district, and collecting aid recipients at the sub-district office. The main obstacle faced was inactive NIK data, so cooperation with the Dukcapil Office was needed to activate the data online. In addition, village and sub-district officials are expected to be more careful in sending data so that all aid recipients can be contacted properly.

Abstract

As time goes by, human integrity is increasing and becoming more varied. One of the needs is electronic goods. However, to get this, of course there is an exchange rate that must be paid to get an item. Price is one of the factors that influences consumer decisions, because price is also sometimes a consideration for many people. It is not uncommon for valuable electronic items to be set at high prices because sometimes they look at the quality and usefulness of the item. This research aims to determine the effect of price on consumer decisions when purchasing electronic goods at the French Jaya Muara Sabak Barat store. This type of research is quantitative, the population is 134 people, the sample was determined using purposive sampling, namely the sample was determined using the Slovin method, the sample size was 100 people. The data analysis technique uses simple linear regression analysis using the spps 25 program. The results of this research state that the prices offered by the France Jaya Store have a significant influence on consumer decisions when purchasing electronic goods at the France Jaya Store. The coefficient of determination value which is the result of r square is 0.839. These results show that 83.9% of the influence of the price variable (x) on consumer decisions (y). Meanwhile, the remaining 16.1% of the price value is influenced by other variables that are not yet in this research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of skills on the wage level of construction workers in Rano Village. This study uses a quantitative approach with a population of 75 construction workers. The sample determination was carried out using the Purposive Sampling technique, while the number of samples was calculated using the Slovin formula, so that 63 respondents were obtained. Data collection was analyzed through a simple linear regression technique using SPSS version 25 software to ensure the validity of the results. The results of the study indicate that skills have a significant effect on the wage level of construction workers. This is indicated by the coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.595 or 59.5%, which indicates that skills explain 59.5% of the variation in wage levels. The remaining 40.5% is explained by other factors outside the scope of this study, such as work experience, education level, and labor market conditions. This study provides important insights into the importance of improving skills as an effort to improve the welfare of construction workers. These findings are expected to be a reference for policy makers and related parties in designing more effective training and skills development programs in the region.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas praktik keharusan menyumbang dalam hajatan pernikahan yang terjadi di Desa Pematang Rahim, Kecamatan Mendahara Ulu, Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur, dan meninjaunya dari perspektif hukum Islam. Tradisi menyumbang dalam acara pernikahan yang awalnya dilakukan secara sukarela sebagai bentuk gotong royong dan solidaritas sosial, mengalami pergeseran makna menjadi suatu kewajiban sosial yang tidak tertulis. Warga desa merasa harus memberikan sumbangan, baik saat menghadiri maupun ketika tidak dapat menghadiri undangan hajatan, dengan harapan akan mendapatkan timbal balik di kemudian hari. Kewajiban sosial ini diperkuat oleh adanya praktik pencatatan amplop sumbangan oleh penyelenggara hajatan serta sanksi sosial bagi mereka yang tidak menyumbang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan tokoh masyarakat, tokoh agama, tokoh adat, ketua RT, serta warga yang menyelenggarakan dan mengikuti tradisi hajatan. Selain itu, studi kepustakaan juga digunakan untuk memperkuat analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik menyumbang dalam hajatan pernikahan di Desa Pematang Rahim merupakan tradisi yang telah mengakar dan menjadi bagian dari norma sosial masyarakat setempat. Dalam perspektif hukum Islam, tradisi ini dapat dikategorikan sebagai 'urf shahih (adat yang sah) jika dilakukan secara ikhlas dan tanpa paksaan, karena mengandung nilai solidaritas dan saling membantu. Namun, apabila pelaksanaannya disertai tekanan sosial atau paksaan, maka tradisi tersebut bertentangan dengan prinsip syariah dan dapat dianggap sebagai tindakan ghashab (pengambilan secara paksa).Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya edukasi kepada masyarakat untuk menjaga nilai-nilai keikhlasan dalam tradisi menyumbang serta membatasi unsur paksaan agar tetap sesuai dengan ajaran Islam yang menekankan kebebasan dan ketulusan dalam memberi.
