Abstract

Eksistensi media sosial TikTok telah mempengaruhi interpretasi dan representasi remaja khususnya di RT 04/RW 12, Kelurahan Pagambiran Ampalu Nan XX, Kecamatan Lubuk Begalung, Kota Padang. Adapun tujuan dari tulisan ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana interpretasi dan representasi diri remaja di RT 04/RW 12, Kelurahan Pagambiran Ampalu Nan XX, Kecamatan Lubuk Begalung, Kota Padang dalam penggunaan media sosial TikTok. Berlandaskan pada teori interaksionisme simbolik Herbert Blumer serta menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif peneliti menentukan informan dengan teknik purposive, dimana pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menemukan bentuk interpretasi remaja terhadap TikTok adalah sebagai sarana eksistensi diri, sarana upgrade diri dan sarana menambah relasi. Adapun bentuk representasi diri yang dilakukan remaja adalah mengunggah video, menggunakan barang-barang yang dibelinya melalui media sosial TikTok, mengunjungi tempat-tempat yang lagi trending, mempraktekkan apa yang telah dilihatnya melalui media sosial TikTok seperti memakai make up, memasak, dan lain sebagainya. Dari penelitian tersebut memperkuat bahwa interpretasi remaja terhadap media sosial TikTok telah mempengaruhi bentuk representasi diri yang ditampilkannya melalui media sosial TikTok, hal itu turut mempengaruhi kehidupan nyata yang ditampilkannya, dan bahkan terjadinya degradasi moral pada remaja.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the crucial issue of low character among students. So in addressing this, the need for student character education. Along with the development of the times at this time, many students appear to have low character, coming to school late, sleeping during class hours and others. This study aims to determine how the process of applying ice breaking as an effort to develop student character through sociology learning, what characters develop in students through ice breaking. This research uses B.F Skinner's theory with a descriptive qualitative approach, this type of research is field research. The technique of selecting informants in this study is purposive sampling technique. Data collection methods in this research are participant observation, semi-structured interviews and document studies. The data analysis used in this research is the Miles and Huberman (1984) model. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the current condition of student character is very clearly declining, it can be seen that students lack respect for their friends, cannot solve problems peacefully, lack of active participation in class, sleep during the learning process. Ice breaking activities can develop students' character values, namely tolerance, hard work, creativity, independence, curiosity, respect for achievement, friendship/communication, peace love and responsibility.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of grade XI F4 students in Sociology at Adabiah 2 High School, Padang. The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes using the Teaching at the Right Level (TARL) learning approach. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) formulated by Ari Kunto, which consists of four components: (1) Planning, (2) Action, (3) Observation, (4) Reflection, using a mixed methods approach. The research data consisted of information about the results of the actions obtained from observations of teacher activities and student learning outcome tests. This research was conducted in two cycles. The results of the first cycle of research showed that the average student learning outcome score remained around 70.6, with only 39.5% completing tasks and 59.9% not completing tasks. In the second cycle, student learning outcomes increased to an average of 84.8, with 83.5% completing tasks and a decrease of 16.6% not completing tasks. This indicates an improvement in learning outcomes, as seen in the second cycle, with an increase in average student scores. This demonstrates that learning outcomes improve with the use of the TaRL approach in sociology.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi mahasiswa dalam mengatasi hambatan pelaksanaan Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan Kependidikan (PPLK) pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Sosiologi Angkatan 2021 Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat. Hambatan yang dihadapi meliputi pengelolaan kelas, penyusunan perangkat ajar, keterbatasan sarana prasarana, dan komunikasi dengan guru pamong. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik purposive sampling terhadap enam mahasiswa dan dua guru pamong. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen, lalu dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mahasiswa menerapkan strategi kreatif, kolaboratif, dan adaptif, seperti penggunaan ice breaking, diskusi dengan guru pamong, komunikasi profesional, dan penyesuaian metode dengan fasilitas sekolah. Strategi ini mendukung pengembangan kompetensi pedagogis dan keberhasilan pelaksanaan PPLK.

Abstract

Permasalahan sosial seperti banyaknya pengemis di Pantai Padang "Tapi Lauik" (Taplau) memerlukan intervensi yang tepat sasaran dan strategis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami faktor-faktor mendasar yang berkontribusi terhadap kehadiran pengemis di Pantai Padang, menelusuri alasan di balik kegigihan mereka dalam profesi ini, pola gaya hidup yang mereka terapkan, dan dampak yang lebih luas terhadap pengunjung Pantai Padang. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan wawasan mendalam tentang fenomena tersebut. Temuan mengungkapkan bahwa kehadiran pengemis di Pantai Padang didorong oleh kombinasi tantangan sosial ekonomi, kurangnya kesempatan pendidikan, dan kurangnya jaring pengaman sosial. Alasan untuk berhenti dari profesi ini sering kali terkait dengan intervensi eksternal, seperti program bantuan pemerintah atau inisiatif dukungan masyarakat. Pola gaya hidup pengemis di pantai mencerminkan siklus kemiskinan dan kelangsungan hidup, yang ditandai dengan kondisi hidup sementara dan ketergantungan pada sedekah sebagai sumber pendapatan utama. Kehadiran pengemis juga mempunyai dampak sosio-ekonomi yang signifikan, termasuk memperburuk kesenjangan sosial, menurunkan produktivitas masyarakat, dan menambah beban pemerintah daerah untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggarisbawahi perlunya upaya komprehensif dan terkoordinasi antara pemerintah dan masyarakat untuk memitigasi fenomena mengemis di Pantai Padang. Upaya tersebut dapat mencakup program pemberdayaan ekonomi bagi kelompok rentan, peningkatan akses terhadap pendidikan dan pelatihan kejuruan, dan penerapan langkah-langkah penegakan hukum yang ketat. Mengatasi tantangan-tantangan ini secara holistik sangat penting untuk menumbuhkan keadilan sosial dan meningkatkan pengalaman pengunjung di Pantai Padang secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

The abuse of liquor in today's world is no longer limited to adults, but teenagers are not immune from the bad effects of drinking. The phenomenon of alcohol abuse by teenagers should not be taken lightly, because teenagers have a very important role for the survival of a nation. The purpose of this study is to describe the phenomenon of adolescents consuming liquor at a wedding in Jorong Ranah Jaya Nagari Koto Gadang, Koto Besar District, Dharmasraya Regency. The theory used in this study is the theory of social Kontrol  according to Petter L Berger. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive method. Data collection methods are through interviews and observation. Interviews were conducted with 20 informants, the informants in this study were taken using a purposive sampling technique. The data analysis model is through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. From the results of the research it was revealed that, First, the activity of consuming liquor at weddings in Jorong Ranah Jaya is a common thing, because the existence of liquor has been provided by the residents who have the event and have even been entrusted to the youth chairman and the Jorong chairman to make this happen. which gives freedom to anyone to consume liquor including teenagers. Second, the community's social Kontrol  is carried out on teenagers who consume liquor, namely a) through parental supervision. Parents of children, even the head of Jorong and youth leaders must be actively involved in Kontrol ling the activities of teenagers who like to gather and drink alcohol at weddings. b) giving a warning, the community starting with the family and the social environment will try to measure every child's actions, both those who behave positively and even those who behave negatively, c) supervision of the environment in which they live. The social environment of children is closely related to the behavior they show and d) Witness/Punishment.

Abstract

Behavior change is a process of change experienced by a person based on what is obtained and learned through various sources such as family, friends, environment or himself. The process of change in a person is determined by his conditions and needs. The use of the tiktok application in elementary school-age children will definitely have an impact on changing children's behavior because basically children have the trait of imitating. The formulation of the problem in this research is how to change the behavior of elementary school-aged children using the tiktok application in Jorong Pasar Sijunjung Nagari Sijunjung, and the purpose of this study is to describe changes in the behavior of elementary school-age children as users of the tiktok application in Jorong Pasar Sijunjung Nagari Sijunjung. The theory used in this study is the social action theory proposed by Max Weber. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive method. Data collection methods are through interviews and observation. Interviews were conducted with 22 informants, the informants in this study were taken using a purposive sampling technique. The data analysis model is through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. From the results of the study it was revealed that elementary school-age children first recognized the tiktok application from their closest environment such as parents, siblings or even peers. The tiktok application has an impact on changing children's behavior, changes that occur in children can be positive and negative changes. The impact of positive behavior changes such as increasing children's creativity in making a work, increasing children's self-confidence, increasing children's interest in learning. Negative behavior changes such as a child's lack of interest in doing homework, changes in speech, and the child's timing is not effective. It can be concluded that the impact of changing the behavior of elementary school-age children in using the tiktok application has not only positive but also negative impacts, so parental supervision is needed.

Abstract

The Dharmasraya Regency Government has designated Jorong Harapan Mulya as one of the Quality Family Villages (KB Village). KB Village services in Jorong Harapan Mulya cover several sectors such as health and community social. However, the phenomenon that occurs is that this program has not run as expected, many people do not know about the benefits of KB Village, then there is a lack of human resources to run it. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation and constraints of implementing the KB Village program in Jorong Harapan Mulya, Tiumang District, Dharmasraya Regency.The theory used in this study is the theory of Structural Functionalism by Robert K, Merton. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive method. Data collection methods are through interviews and observation. Interviews were conducted with 11 informants, the informants in this study were taken using a purposive sampling technique. The data analysis model is through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions.From the results of the study it was explained that the implementation of the KB Village program in Jorong Harapan Mulya had not been able to run optimally. This is because of the 7 KB village programs, only 4 were implemented. Implementing the KB Kampug program in Jorong Harapan Mulya is still having problems or experiencing obstacles. Such as a lack of understanding or response from the community. In addition, the resources used are still inadequate. The resources in question are in the form of funds, facilities and infrastructure. For example, funds for carrying out activities are available from the district and also from jorong. In addition to funds, there are also infrastructure facilities, for example, Jorong itself provides a place when socialization or meetings take place in Jorong, using the house of the cadres and the working group alternately. Should have a KB village program house that is settled without having to move around

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that student learning success is always a problem in every subject, especially sociology in class XI IPS at SMAN 2 Solok Selatan, so that teachers must have other learning models that encourage students to work collaboratively in achieving learning goals. The purpose of this study was to identify the constraints and solutions faced by teachers in applying the make a match type of cooperative learning model in sociology class XI IPS at SMAN 2 Solok Selatan. The approach used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach, with a total of 6 informants which was carried out by means of purposive sampling. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data with data collection methods: observation, interviews and document study. Meanwhile, data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and document studies. The data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman model, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions.  The results showed that the teacher's constraints in applying the make a match type cooperative learning model in sociology class XI IPS at SMAN 2 Solok Selatan were difficulties in controlling the class, low student motivation, less effective time management and lack of workshops on learning models . As for the solutions made to overcome these obstacles, namely conditioning the class well so that the class atmosphere is not noisy, designing cooperative learning model activities of the make a match type, setting lesson time limits and attending workshops specifically for teachers.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that the project based learning model is not yet effective, student learning creativity is still low. One effort to overcome this problem is to apply the project based learning model in the sociology learning process. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of implementing project based learning in sociology learning as an effort to increase the creativity of Phase E 1 students at SMA N 1 Sutera. The theory used in this research is the behaviorist theory put forward by Gagne. The type of research used is quantitative because the data obtained is in the form of numbers. with Quasi-experimental research type. The population in this study were class X students of SMA N 1 Sutera with a sample size of 36 people. Sampling used purposive sampling technique. The instrument used for this research was an observation sheet. The data analysis technique in research is by using the T Test. Based on the results of research that has been carried out using the t test statistic, tcount = 21.13. Then t table with dk = n-k-1, dk = 36-1-1 = 34 at a significance level of 5% (0.05), then from the t distribution table the value of t table = 2.032 is obtained. So the result is 21.13 > 2.032 so that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The result of hypothesis testing is that Ha is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of the application of the project based learning model in sociology learning as an effort to increase creativity (case study of Phase E1 students at SMA N 1 Sutera).
