Abstract

The aims of this research are 1). Analyzing initial abilities in the experimental class and control class, 2). Analyzing the influence of the TPACK-based learning approach on learning outcomes, 3). Analyzing the effectiveness of a TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) based learning approach in class III at SDN 2 Sugih Waras. This research is quantitative research with a true experimental design experimental method. The research data collection technique used pretest and posttest, research samples were students in class III A, experimental class and III B, control class. The data analysis technique used was a prerequisite test, data analysis used the independent sample t test and the N-Gain test. Based on research results 1). Sig value. (2-tailed) from the pretest data of experimental class and control class students, namely 0.562 > 0.05. This shows that Ho is accepted, meaning there is no difference in the average initial ability of students in the experimental class and the control class, 2). There is an influence of the TPACK-based learning approach on learning outcomes. This can be seen based on the t test table which shows the Sig value. (2-tailed) is 0.00 < 0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, 3). The results of the N-Gain test in class III A which used TPACK got an average score of 62.41 which was categorized as quite effective, while in class III B which used the lecture and assignment method the average was 22.77 which was categorized as ineffective.

Abstract

Education plays a strategic role in developing high-quality human resources, yet Indonesia continues to face significant challenges in addressing educational disparities. This study aims to analyze the comparative aspects of Indonesia’s education systems, including public schools, private schools, Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), and community-based education, with a focus on disparities and innovations. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach, data were collected from literature reviews, government reports, and interviews with education practitioners. The analysis reveals substantial challenges in accessibility, teacher quality, and infrastructure, particularly in remote areas. Public schools, while providing broad access, often face limitations in facilities and educational quality. In contrast, private schools demonstrate higher standards but remain accessible only to certain socioeconomic groups due to cost barriers. Islamic boarding schools offer value-based education but may lack integration with general education standards. Meanwhile, community-based education emerges as a viable solution for remote areas but requires stronger policy support. The study also highlights that innovations such as the Merdeka Belajar program and digital technology adoption can serve as catalysts for reducing educational disparities. The findings underscore the need for more inclusive policies, enhanced teacher capacity, and increased investment in infrastructure to achieve equitable and high-quality education.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of educational and management theories to develop adaptive, effective, and sustainable educational governance. The main focus is addressing the gap between theory and practice in educational management within Indonesia and Malaysia, as well as evaluating the application of classical and contemporary management theories in an educational context. Classical management, emphasizing efficiency and hierarchical structure, is considered insufficiently flexible for modern educational needs, necessitating supplementation with human relations theory and transformational leadership that encourage innovation and well-being. This research aims to develop a new conceptual model that merges educational and management theories and provides practical recommendations for educational management in Indonesia. Employing a normative approach through literature review and comparative analysis of educational management policies and practices in Indonesia and Malaysia, findings indicate Malaysia's greater success in outcome-based management through community engagement, while Indonesia faces challenges in consistent policy implementation across regions. The study emphasizes the importance of adaptive managerial strategies based on local social and cultural contexts. It contributes theoretically by offering a new model for educational management and provides practical recommendations, including adaptive strategies and enhanced cross-sectoral and regional collaboration in ASEAN to strengthen education quality and sustainability
