Volunteers are generally defined as individuals who participate in a voluntary behavior they carry out an activity of free will without any coercion, receive no compensation and do profit over others. This research aims to analyze individual motivation as Volunteers/Friends of Asia Africa Museum during the Bandung Historical Study Games 2021. This research further elaborates the theory and concept of Self Determination Theory (SDT) to understand the position and possession of Autonomy, Competence, and Relatedness within the individuals. Through descriptive qualitative research methods, particularly by observation and in-depth interviews with volunteers, this research has found various motivations in each individual that are relevant to the concepts within Self-Determination Theory (SDT).

For the last two years, Indonesia and all countries in the world have been engaged with the COVID-19 pandemic. The government issued various forms of policies to prevent the spread of COVID-19, including PSBB and PPKM. The West Java Police Public Relations, as part of the government, also communicated the program through their social media. One of the social media accounts used is the Instagram account @humaspoldajabar. However, the uploaded content has yet to achieve optimal results. The purpose of this study is to describe the management of Instagram social media @humaspoldajabar during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research uses qualitative research methods with the type of case study research and collecting data using observation and literature study. The result of this research is that the contents uploaded by the Public Relations Division of the Java Regional Police are content related to appeals, information, and policies for controlling the COVID-19 outbreak. Public Relations of the West Java Regional Police uploaded content that described humanist police activities accompanied by the positive imagery of officials within the West Java Regional Police. The West Java Police Public Relations should use brand influencers to optimize content and display content that suits the needs and characteristics of the public. Content in the form of positive imagery can actually threaten the image of the police themselves.

Pariwisata merupakan industri yang berkembang pesat secara global dan saat ini menjadi sumber pekerjaan dan mata pencaharian bagi banyak orang. Pembangunan pariwisata di daerah sebagai salah satu sektor pembangunan tidak dapat dilepaskan dari pembangunan masyarakat lokal dan pembangunan fasilitas pendukungnya. Salah satu faktor keberhasilan pengembangan sebuah destinasi wisata adalah komunikasi. Melalui komunikasi peluang keterkenalan suatu destinasi wisata akan terbuka semakin lebar dikenal oleh masyarakat luas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan komunikasi pariwisata dalam pengembangan destinasi wisata dan menjelaskan partisipasi masyarakat dan memahami model perencanaan komunikasi pariwisata dalam pengembangan destinasi wisata di Kecamatan Sungai Raya Kepulauan Kabupaten Bengkayang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi pariwisata pemerintah Kabupaten Bengkayang dalam mengembangkan destinasi wisata adalah dengan membentuk beberapa desa wisata, membina kelompok sadar wisata (Pokdarwis), dan mengembangkan partisipasi masyarakat pada daerah destinasi wisata yang melibatkan stakeholder pemerintah dan akademisi melalui pengabdian masyarakat. Simpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Komunikasi pariwisata dalam pengembangan destinasi wisata Pulau Lemukutan Kecamatan Sungai Raya Kepulauan di Kabupaten Bengkayang dilakukan dengan cara membina dan memberdayakan kelompok sadar wisata (Pokdarwis), melibatkan partisipasi masyarakat sekitar destinasi wisata, dan kampanye wisata yang mengusung tema Wisata bahari. Adapun saran nya adalah sebaiknya perencanaan komunikasi pariwisata di kawasan destinasi wisata Pulau Lemukutan sebaiknya pemerintah mengembangkan komunikasi yang lebih kreatif, terintegrasi dan berkelanjutan dalam melakukan pembinaan menyesuaikan pada aspirasi masyarakat setempat.

Pesatnya perkembangan medsos ini dipengaruhi oleh perkembangan teknologi, yang mengalami evolusi semakin kesini semakin cepat. Saat ini penggunaan media sosial tidak terpisahkan dari kehidupan masyarakat. setiap aktivitas mereka selalu melibatkan media sosia apakah itu untuk mencari informasi seputar pekerjaan, hobi, hiburan dan fenomena yang trend pada saat ini. Dalam penggunaannya terkadang masyarakat lebih mudah percaya terhadap pemberitaan atau informasi yang beredar melalui media sosial meskipun belum diketahui kebenaran informasi tersebut. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah memberikan edukasi pada masyarakat bagaimana menyikapi dan menggunakan media sosial secara sehat dan bertanggungjawab. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah disertai contoh contoh informasi di media sosial yang sifatnya hoax, kredibel dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. Selian itu di berikan juga materi mengenai bagaimana membedakan informasi di media sosial antara informasi yang benar dan yang kredibel. Pemanfaatan medsos saat ini makin bervariatif, medsos tidak lagi hanya digunakan sebagai sarana untuk berkomunikasi atau bersosialisasi, namun medsos seringkali juga digunakan sarana pendidikan, sarana promosi (baik promosi yang sifatnya komersial maupun yang social), dan lainnya. Setidaknya ada dua langkah atau cara yang bisa dilakukan untuk membendung tumbuh dan berkembangnya medsos. Pertama, melakukan kegiatan penyadaran pada masyarakat (literacy media/digital) agar bijak dan cerdas dalam bermedia. Langkah kedua adalah membudayakan sikap tabayun (klarifikasi) untuk melihat pakah berita yang didapat benar atau tidak.The rapid development of social media is influenced by technological developments, which are evolving more and more here and faster. Currently the use of social media is inseparable from people's lives. their every activity always involves social media whether it's to find information about work, hobbies, entertainment and phenomena that are currently trending. In its use, it is sometimes easier for people to believe news or information circulating through social media, even though the truth of the information is not yet known. The purpose of this training is to educate the public on how to respond and use social media in a healthy and responsible manner. The method used is the lecture method accompanied by examples of information on social media that is hoax, credible and accountable. Besides that, material was also given on how to distinguish information on social media between true and credible information. Currently, the use of social media is increasingly varied, social media is no longer only used as a means to communicate or socialize, but social media is often used as educational facilities, promotional tools (both commercial and social promotions), and others. There are at least two steps or methods that can be taken to stem the growth and development of social media. First, conduct awareness raising activities in the community (media/digital literacy) so that they are wise and intelligent in media. The second step is to cultivate an attitude of clarification to see whether the news received is true or not.

Keluarga sebagai sistem lebih bersifat emosional, karena disatukan oleh ikatan mendalam yang mempengaruhinya dalam berbisnis. Komunikasi bisnis keluarga memiliki hubungan yang erat dengan pertentangan, perbedaan serta penolakan pendapat atau ide, ketidakpercayaan antara sesama anggota, bahkan memicu konflik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode penelitian fenomenologi. Penentuan sumber data penelitian, menggunakan teknik purposive dengan 5 informan yang mengelola bisnis keluarga dibidang kuliner yang telah berkembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi motif-motif yang mendorong pelaku melakukan bisnis keluarga, mendeskripsikan makna komunikasi bisnis keluarga serta mendeskripsikan aktivitas komunikasi bisnis yang dilakukan oleh pelaku bisnis keluarga dalam menjalankan bisnis kulinernya. Hasil penelitian ini adalah motif yang mendorong pelaku untuk melakukan bisnis keluarga diantaranya: motif kepatuhan (obedience motive), motif aktualisasi diri (self actualization motive), motif ekonomi (economic motive) dan motif bakat (aptitude motive). Makna komunikasi bisnis keluarga bagi pelaku adalah sebuah tantangan dan kepatuhan. Makna yang dikonstruksi tersebut, dapat dinetralisir dengan melakukan obrolan ringan, pertemuan bisnis keluarga, rapat keluarga yang dapat menghasilkan beberapa point, seperti pengambilan keputusan yang dapat dilakukan secara diskusi dan professional, melakukan pelaporan kegiatan bisnis, dan pemecahan dari perbedaan pendapat bahkan konflik. Aktivitas Komunikasi pelaku bisnis keluarga mencakup promosi, membangun hubungan dengan karyawan, supliyer dan memfasilitasi pelanggan restoran dengan acara karaoke, happy hours, nonton bareng, serta membina hubungan dengan partner bisnis dengan membangun perjanjian kerjasama pembukaan cabang baru. The mobility restriction during the COVID-19 pandemic did not stop the public from expressing their opinions. Since they could not go on demonstrations, they moved democracy to the digital sphere, such as on Twitter. Previous research has shown that Twitter users in Indonesia use the platform to express political views and opinions on governmental issues. The issue of the Nationalism Knowledge Test (TWK) at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) was a trending topic on Twitter for a while. The issue spurred discussions on Twitter when 75 employees did not pass the KPK-TWK on May 2021. The discussion then stopped for a moment before picking up again during the official dismissal of the employees on 30 September 2021. This article focuses on the social network analysis of the public’s responses to this issue on Twitter. Social network data were collected using Drone Emprit from May to October 2021 and analyzed using Gephi to generate graphical representations of the social networks. The results reveal the structure of the movement was centralized and dynamic. Regarding the dissemination of information, the most central was news media and anti-corruption activists’ accounts. These accounts mobilized the community on Twitter to make a critical social movement. This means that the digital sphere can be an evolution of democracy form and activism, especially in the anti-corruption movement.

The present study examines website accessibility on the labour union's website regarding their ability to provide a friendly website for people with disabilities. Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) were employed to assess web accessibility. Labour union confederation’s website had significant accessibility errors on adaptable, navigable, operable, and low-contrast elements. Besides, the website had severe alerts and errors. Generally, most websites have not employ accessibility guidelines; hence information rights fulfilment among people with disabilities failed to be achieved. The limitation of this research lies in the number of labour union websites being analysed. Nevertheless, this research employs labour confederation websites with many members and federations that represent labour unions based on the type and location in Indonesia. Another limitation lies in the evaluation tools, which are limited to free tools usage. Thus, future research should employ various tools, neither free nor paid tools. Website developers should get socialisation regarding the urgency of website accessibility while repairing some aspects with low scores and errors. The government should enforce accessibility regulations. The community of people with disabilities should actively deliver their feedback to web developers thus their information rights can be fulfilled. The information rights fulfilment among workers with a disability tends to neglect by the labour unions. It can be seen from the labour union confederation's website that it is not accessible yet for all workers, so an inclusive workplace is challenging to achieve.

Pagoda as a cultural product and religious institution that must be maintained as a national cultural treasure. Siu Hok Bio Temple is one of the oldest temples in Semarang. The pagoda is able to maintain the authenticity of the building and the values of Chinese culture and Taoist religious values, and even become a center of reference for the culture and values of Taoism. However, there are concerns about its sustainability because there is no younger generation who want to continue their cultural and religious values. Starting from this, this research wants to examine by focusing on the efforts of pagodas to maintain their existence as centers of Chinese culture and Taoist values in areas where the majority are of other religions. This research uses a theoretical approach through the perspective of social exchange evolution theory developed by Sillar, 2019 and ICT (Integrative Communication Theory) theory, 2005. The research method uses subjective interpretive research, a qualitative approach through participatory research. The conclusion of the research shows that the external approach to the environment is carried out in participatory communication quite successfully. However, in building communication with the congregation the pagoda tends to be puritanical and conservative, so that integrative communication cannot be carried out, which in the end does not occur conducive social exchange. The recommendation is to separate the values of Taoism and Chinese culture in order to be adaptive to the younger generation who have entered the digital world.

When discussing climate change, one of the effects that is very pronounced is the abrasion and flooding that often occurs in Indonesia, especially in the province of DKI Jakarta, as one of the fastest sinking cities in the world. If this is not controlled, most of the city could be completely submerged by 2050 (Mayuri & Rafki, 2018). In an effort to combat climate change, some research suggests that young people are potentially well placed to trigger ambitious and long-term societal change by adopting sustainable attitudes and behaviours in energy use. (Ouariachi et al., 2017). To determine the increase in pro-environmental attitudes after an experiment using the documentary film "Tenggelam Dalam Diam" for teenagers in DKI Jakarta Province. This study will apply a Nonequivalent group design which is a quasi-experimental research design by comparing two pre-existing groups, where one group receives an intervention (experimental group) and the other group does not receive an intervention (control group) (Creswell, 2014). The results of Asym. Sig. (2-tailed) shows 0.00 which is less than 0.05, it can be stated that the documentary film "Tenggelam Dalam Diam" has an effect on pro-environmental attitudes of DKI Jakarta province teenagers. The results showed that the movie was effective in raising pro-environmental attitudes among teenagers in Jakarta, This research is expected to provide useful information for policy makers and stakeholders, in developing campaign strategies or programs that are more effective in increasing pro-environmnet attitudes and concrete actions towards the environment.

This research aims to develop and design the application of assistive technology to transform the lives of individuals with disabilities, providing them with the skills and tools they need to overcome barriers that previously prevented them from fully participating in society. This research focuses on developing digital applications as a technological support for media lecturers to use in learning for students with disabilities. The research method used in this research is Design Based Research, which consists of three main stages, namely needs assessment, design process, technology used, and making interactive prototypes. Current developments in assistive technology and disability research indicate a growing interest in using assistive technology to promote inclusive practices in the pursuit of knowledge. There is a focus on creating diverse and culturally adaptive learning environments that suit diverse needs and experiences and increasing awareness of society's challenges and prejudices when using assistive technology. Adopting digital apps as assistive technology is not only a huge step toward making educational settings more inclusive and accessible for students with disabilities but also provides a variety of capabilities to meet the different requirements of students, such as configurable displays, interactive and multisensory learning possibilities, and interaction with other assistive technology.
