Abstract

Every organization is basically a kind of control system. An irregular organizational system will have a negative impact and lack of control over the performance of the members of the organization. The organizational system also plays a significant role in creating a conducive atmosphere in the school environment. An effective and structured organizational system will provide boundaries and positive direction in the organization. This research is a quantitative research with survey method. From the results of this study it was found that the organizational system significantly influenced the work motivation of teachers in state vocational high schools Jambi Province. Based on the calculation results obtained by the analysis of the value thitung (9,0)> ttabel (1,969), until H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that the organizational system that is run and maintained within a school organization will be able to provide a significant influence on teacher work motivation. The research implications of these findings explain that the better the organizational system built in this school the better the effect will be on increasing teacher work motivation.

Abstract

In Aceh Province, Dayah Perbatasan Darul Amin is an Islamic Boarding school institution that has twice had achievement as the cleanest and healthiest boarding school as part of adiwiyata-based education institution concept. Such achievement by the Islamic boarding school can inspire and terminate a syndrome that a boarding house is a slump, dirty and unhealthy place. Also, it can change the public paradigm that boarding school is a very representative place to study. This research analyzes the Islamic boarding school management model in implementing the adiwiyata concept through participative leadership. The research approach paradigm is the qualitative one. The research used a diary method (DM). This article is an experience of Darul Amin Islamic Boarding School in implementing the adiwiyata program by implementing an effective Islamic boarding school. Results of the research show that adiwiyata program management is conducted through participative leadership, namely (1) formulation of adiwiyata Islamic boarding school, (2) building intern consolidation, (3) implementation of cleanliness management, (4) procurement of necessary infrastructure, (5) program evaluation and (6) organizational development. All elements' active contribution in realizing the adiwiyata Islamic boarding school can improve students' characteristics to live clean and love their environment. The participative leadership of the Kyai is proven to be able to improve the effectiveness of adiwiyata Islamic boarding school management.

Abstract

The educational agenda's long-term viability and suitability for institutional revitalization efforts are still being debated. To address the issue of educational institutions, a new conceptual framework model is required. The concept of organizational development via the concept of learning organization is already numerous and well-established. As a result, the study seeks to understand the governance model of long-term learner organizations that have been thoroughly examined in terms of organizational culture. The descriptive survey method was used for qualitative research. The study's findings revealed five essentials in the implementation of the learner school concept, namely the creation of an educational environment, the enhancement of institutional independence, the succession of learner leadership, and the caderization program as evidence of the institution's sustainability guarantee. Several school programs, including extracurricular activities, school literacy movements, habitation activities, and spontaneous behavior, reflect the cultural actualization of organizations. Managers' commitment to education is recommended by the study's findings in order to remain sustainable; community participation is optimized, with a focus on aspects of data inventory, planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs, and optimization of community participation by being supported by Local Governments, including stakeholders. The practical implications of learner concepts create broader and more transformative cultural values that reflect the 21st century's complex challenges and the need for structural reform in sustainable organizations.

Abstract

Social economic reality forced the Moslem population to be more concerned with general education so get rid of the religious education forward. A common problem that describe into two, the first in the case of a majority Muslim country the government does not understand that the core of nation-building through education is human development itself as a means and purpose. The second, in the case of a minority Moslem country the problem was faced is protective government policy until the movement of Islamic educational institutions in innovating was limited. This articles elaborates the illustration how education development to the right direction must beginning with a system approach in the education sector adjusted the need of the global market. Basically, every system created to handle something that routinely happens. Systems approach is a philosophy about the structure that coordinates activities in an organization with the most excellent way. The data collected for several books and journal which provided to the illustrations. The conclusion, there are three domain strategies and education policies for the government to develop education system effectiveness, are defense and security, productive workforce, positive social output. Especially for education institution, the strategy is (1) selection and development of graduate products; (2) financial education effectiveness for competitive advantage; (3) developing human capital; (4) moving, caring, and innovating; (5) marketing strategy; and (6) alliance strategy, building a network with synergy.

Abstract

Globalisasi menciptakan kesulitan, dan semakin mempermudah penguasa lapangan pekerjaan berfikir ekonomis. Angka pengangguran yang semakin meningkat setiap tahun menjadi fakta bahwa lulusan lembaga pendidikan kurang kompetitif. Pendidikan telah menjadi kebutuhan penting, dan di samping itu juga menjadi tanggungjawab manusia. Agar manusiap dapat mewujudkan kehidupan yang sejahtera, maka mereka (baik yang memberikan ataupun memperoleh pendidikan hendaknya memiliki pandangan serta pemahaman tentang kewiraswastaan demi tercapainya tujuan akhir pendidikan. Dengan perkataan lain, perwujudan manusia wiraswasta menunjang pencapaian tujuan Pendidikan. Pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam, lahir dengan kurikulum yang terintegratif antara agama dan umum. Keunggulan dalam proses pendidikan yang dinamis selama 24 jam memberikan pengaruh kuat terhadap pembentukan panca jiwa pesantren, seperti keikhlasan, kesederhanaan dan kemandiriaan. Jiwa kemandirian santri yang terbentuk menjadi potensi bagi pesantren dalam meningkatkan stabilitas ekonomi pesantren. Manajemen unit usaha pesantren mengandung arti sebagai proses pembentukan sebuah unit usaha berdasarkan potensi lembaga, sistem pengelolaan, hingga evaluasi terhadap pengelolaan unit usaha tersebut. Prinsip-prinsip dalam membangun unit usaha di pesantren adalah: (1) unit usaha bukan milik pribadi akan tetapi milik lembaga, pimpinan tidak berhak mengambil kebijakan sectoral terkait pengelolaan keuangan: (2) berfilosofikan administrasi yang baik mutlak untuk menjaga kepercayaan, harus ada laporan dan musyawarah rutin ked an oleh pimpinan terkait perkembangan unit usaha; (3) merekrut SDM yang memang ahli lapangan dan berasal dari internal lembaga sehingga komunikasi dapat berjalan lancar; (4) memperhatikan legalitas badan usaha untuk mengoptimalkan peluang yang ada; (5) membentuk tim ahli, minimal tenaga senior untuk memonitor perkembangan unit usaha.

Abstract

Abstract: The bargaining power of pesantren lies in character education, because of the cultivation of character in students of pesantren is by implementing Islamic religious values. Meanwhile, the development in Indonesia continues with a more focused on economics that demands life skills. This research was formulated to develop modernity in some aspects of curriculum in pesantren Sholahuddin Al-Munawwarah Gayo iLues Regency, Aceh Province. The approach to paradigm research is qualitative using the case study method, which is a systematic investigation of ia specific event. Data collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The learning system uses the principles of learning to know, learning to do, learning to be and learning to live together; Implementation of talent interest education by implementing pesantren-based management (MBP); In iaddition, the potential areas around pesantren can be reflected in the delivery of education, in accordance with the principles of contextual education and broad based education; The findings in ithis study produced several main conclusions: (1) reorientation of learning, (2) development of pesantren culture that supports the education of talent-interest, (3) implementation of pesantren based management, (d) synergistic relationships with society, government and talent suppliers. Keywords: Modernity of Pesantren; Curriculum; Talent-Interest. Abstrak: Daya tawar pesantren terletak pada pendidikan karakter, karena pada dasarnya penanaman karakter pada santri adalah dengan implementas nilai-nilai agama-Islam. Sementara itu, pembangunan di Indonesa terus dilakukan secara bertahap dengan fokus pembangunan yang lebih ditekankan di bidang ekonomi yang menuntut keterampilan hidup. Untuk membentuk lulusan yang berkarakter dan berketeramplan hidup muncul sebuah konsep pendidikan berbasis minat bakat. Penelitian ini dirumuskan untuk mengangkat aspek modernitas pesantren ditinjau dari aspek kurkulum barbasis minat bakat pada pesantren Sholahuddn Al-Munawwarah Kabupaten Gayo Lues Provinsi Aceh. Paradigma pendekatan penelitian adalah kualitatif menggunakan metode studi kasus, yakni penyelidikan sistematis atas suatu kejadian khusus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sistem pembelajaran menggunakan prinsip learning to know, learning to do, learning to be dan learning to live together; Pelaksanaan pendidikan minat bakat dengan menerapkan manajemen berbaiss pesantren (MBP); Selain itu potensi wilayah sekitar pesantren dapat direfleksikan dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan, sesuai dengan prinsip pendidikan kontekstual dan pendidikan berbasis luas (broad based educaton); Temuan dalam penelitian ini menghasilkan beberapa pokok kesimpulan yaitu: (1) reorientasi pembelajaran berbasis minat bakat, (2) pengembangan budaya pesantren yang menunjang pendidikan minat bakat, (3) implementasi manajemen berbasis pesantren, (d) hubungan kemitraan sinergis dengan masyarakat, pemerintah dan penyalur bakat. Kata kunci: Modernitas Pesantren; Kurikulum; Minat Bakat.

Abstract

This article aims to describe how participatory leadership styles are applied and contribute substantially to the effectiveness of boarding school management. Research is done using survey data sets. Research is of a descriptive qualitative type. The research took Al-Mujaddid integrated boarding school locus of Sabang-Aceh city. Our analysis shows that participatory leadership becomes a fundamental base in the implementation of the boarding school education system. The effectiveness of participatory leadership styles refers to some aspects, namely (1) decision-making processes; (2) organizational conflict-handling processes; and (3) communication strategies in shaping a positive boarding culture. Research implications for boarding school managers in order to perform variative professional development in all types of leadership. Expectations to participatory leadership style can affect teachers' participation in teaching, mentoring, peer observation, and coaching compared to other types of professional development. The paper proposed a participatory leadership style in the Boarding Cottage, as well as other Islamic education systems that have characteristic similarities in the organization of boarding school education. Recommendations for educational practitioners for ideal leadership in boarding school.

Abstract

The difference in boarding school management characteristics in Aceh significantly contrasts with other provinces is the Board of Education/Dayah Office. Through the Dayah Region, the Aceh government has border boarding schools in four districts (Aceh Tamiang, Aceh Singkil, Southeast Aceh and Subulussalam City). The borders aim to fortify the encroachment of Muslims in the border region through educational access. This research is comparative qualitative research. Data sources were obtained from descriptive written and oral data and observed people and their behaviour. The presentation of research data is presented through data classification, general characteristic conclusions, propositions, and theories. Inductive techniques of analysis do the writing. This writing is expected to be a reference for the government in fostering boarding schools and managers generally in improving the effectiveness of boarding schools. The results of the study show a Border Power management model reviewed from managerial functions, namely planning operations in primary strategic plans; leadership functions lead to cooperation and participative styles; implementation functions (management sites) integrate between salafy-modern- and government and evaluative processes in organizational development concepts that prioritize on aspects of HR, economics and infrastructure mean. Implementing management on each border as a government boarding school is already underway, effectively referring to empirical data, the quality and quantity of Dayah Perbatasan are superior to the other educational institutions in their respective districts.

Abstract

Purpose: Researchers have tried to conduct analytic studies on IAI Tebo Jambi to analyze lecturer professionality in improving organizational effectiveness. Methodology: The study used qualitative design with survey approaches. As a source of informants, the study involved 3 managing—lectures as well as employees plus students through purposive sampling.  Data collection is done through the results of interviews, observations and documentation. Main Findings: The limits of area research selected for this study reflected the competence of lecturers into fundamental aspects in the learning process thus impacting the quality of graduates. As the newly transformed college from high school to institute demands strategy in HR governance system and fulfillment of college resource standards. Applications The practical implications when the quality of management education is enriched, it will create global management professionals who will contribute qualitatively to industry and lift global economic development as a whole. Novelty/Originality The process of IAI Tebo Lectures professional development with four steps, First, interested stakeholders, workers organization society; Second Competencies according to knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Third, the barriers and propulsors with contextual elements, personal characteristics and relational elements. Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis sejauh mana pengaruh kepemimpinan inovatif dan iklim sekolah terhadap mutu layanan pendidikan pada pondok pesantren MAS Jeumala Amal di Kabupaten Pidie Jaya Provinsi Aceh. Perolehan data melalui hasil analisis yang dilakukan pada 60 responden yang merupakan tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan pada MAS Jeumala Amal. Penelitian ini berjenis kuantitatif deskriptive survey menggunakan hipotesis Asosiatif. Adapun tujuan penelitian untuk menghitung besaran pengaruh; (1) Kepemimpinan inovatif terhadap mutu layanan pendidikan; (2) Iklim sekolah terhadap mutu layanan pendidikan; (3) Kepemimpinan inovatif dan iklim sekolah terhadap mutu layanan pendidikan. Hasil uji hipotesis analisis regresi sederhana diperoleh bahwa kepemimpinan inovatif berpengaruh terhadap mutu layanan pendidikan sebesar 79,9%, iklim sekolah berpengaruh terhadap mutu layanan pendidikan sebesar 54,4%, dan melalui analisis regresi berganda diperoleh bahwa kepemimpianan inovatif (X1) dan iklim sekolah (X2) berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap mutu layanan pendidikan (Y) pada pondok pesantren MAS Jeumala ‘’Amal di Pidie Jaya sebesar 79,9%. Dapat disimpulkan kepemimpinan inovati dan iklim sekolah berpengaruh terhadap mutu layanan pendidikan. Implikasinya, efektivitas kepemimpinan inovatif dan pengelolaan iklim sekolah kondusif mempengaruhi mutu layanan pendidikan.
