Abstract

The function of education is the formation of human attitudes and character. Then, in simple language, you can state the general goal of education, namely "humanizing humans". The term Tri Kaya Parisudha can be interpreted as three behaviors that should be purified. Everyone must purify their behavior in order to obtain safety, peace and prosperity in their life in this world. A person's behavior is influenced by desire or lust (Kama). This desire should be controlled so that it does not become wild, so that behavior does not deviate from applicable rules or norms. The strategy for implementing character education through ethical learning in the Tri Kaya Parisudha teachings in Class VI C SD No. 3 Kedonganan is character education in the Manacika parisudha teachings, character education in the Wacika parisudha teachings, character education in the Kayika parisudha teachings. The issues discussed namely: (1) What are the strategies for implementing character education through ethical learning in the Tri Kaya Parisudha teachings in class VI C SD No. 3 Kedonganan?, (2) What are the obstacles and efforts in learning character education in class VI C SD No. 3 Kedongan? (3) What are the implications of implementing character education in class VI C SD No. 3 Kedonganan. ?. Result of the research show: (1) Strategies for implementing character education through ethical learning in the Tri Kaya Parisudha teachings in class VI C SD No. 3 Kedonganan, (2) Obstacles and efforts in learning character education in class VI C SD No. 3 Kedonganan, (3) Implications of implementing character education in class VI C SD No.3 Kedonganan.

Abstract

The Baligia ceremony in Jungutan Village, Bebandem District, Karangasem Regency has a uniqueness that distinguishes it from Baligia ceremonies in other regions, especially in Bali, namely that the Baligia ceremony is carried out specifically and takes the most important levels, as a form of final respect from the sentana (descendants) to all Puspa and Name (spirits) who are purified. And this Baligia ceremony is carried out for almost a year. Based on this background, the problems obtained are; (1) How is the Representation of Hindu Teachings in the Baligia Ceremony in Jungutan Village, Bebandem District, Karangasem Regency? (2) What are the characteristics of the Baligia Ceremony in Jungutan Village, Bebandem District, Karangasem Regency? (3) What are the Values of Hindu Education in Baligia Ceremony in Jungutan Village, Bebandem District, Karangasem Regency? This study aims to gain a fundamental understanding related to the Representation of Hindu Education Values, namely (1) To describe the Representation of Hindu Teachings in the Baligia Ceremony in Jungutan Village, Bebandem District, Karangasem Regency, (2) To describe the Characteristics of the Baligia Ceremony in Jungutan Village, Bebandem District, Karangasem Regency, (3) To describe the Values of Hindu Education in the Baligia Ceremony in Jungutan Village, Bebandem District, Karangasem Regency. From this research, it is expected to be a reference and provide benefits for all parties. This research uses a type of qualitative research with the theories used to analyze the problem are Representation Theory, Ritual Theory, and Value Theory to dissect the research problem. Data collection techniques are interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The data that has been collected is then analyzed by descriptive analysis methods with steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this study show (1) the representation of Hindu teachings in the Baligia Ceremony is divided into three, namely; sincere and sincere holy sacrifice, Atman's death to Brahman, and the spirit of togetherness and mutual assistance. (2) The characteristics of the Baligia Ceremony, namely Peminehan Anyar which is a ceremonial procession to obtain chess oil through a special process, which is obtained by filtering from feces, urine and milk from purified oxen. (3) The value of Hindu education contained in the Baligia ceremony is the value of tattwa education, the value of moral education, and the value of event / ceremony education.

Abstract

The development of globalization and technology has brought significant changes to all aspects of human life, including influencing children's behavior. Nowadays, elementary school children are familiar with dating and are even able to express their feelings to the opposite sex. This phenomenon is important to research so that children are able to understand that elementary school is a time to learn to be a brahmacari. The problem formulation is: (1) The dating style of elementary school children at SD Negeri 26 Pemecutan (Hindu Religious Education Perspective); (2) The impact of the dating style of elementary school children on the learning motivation of students at SD Negeri 26 Pemecutan (Hindu Religious Education Perspective); (3) The role of Hindu Religion and Character education teachers in responding to the phenomenon of elementary school children's dating styles at SD Negeri 26 Pemecutan (Hindu Religious Education Perspective). The purpose of this research is to determine children's dating styles, the impact they have, and the role of Hindu Religious Education and Character teachers in responding to the phenomenon of elementary school children's dating styles at SD Negeri 26 Pemecutan (Hindu Religious Education Perspective). The theory used in this research uses stimulus-response theory and moral foundation theory. Data collection methods use observation, interviews, literature study and documentation, with qualitative descriptive analysis. The research results show:(1) Children in the Hindu perspective are categorized as students (brahmacari), so they are not suitable for dating. The current style of dating for children is done by meeting in person at school/outside of school, and using social media; (2) The impacts that arise are negative and positive impacts; (3) The role of Hindu Religious Education and Character Education teachers is as supervisor, guide and director in educating children based on Hindu religious teachings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pendidikan interventif sebagai strategi penguatan moderasi beragama serta peran sekolah dalam menumbuhkan sikap moderat siswa. Moderasi beragama menjadi aspek penting dalam menjaga keharmonisan masyarakat multikultural, terutama di tengah meningkatnya tantangan intoleransi dan radikalisme di lingkungan generasi muda. Pendidikan interventif dipahami sebagai pendekatan pendidikan yang menekankan pembinaan karakter, penguatan nilai toleransi, serta pengembangan sikap inklusif melalui proses pembelajaran dan budaya sekolah. Dalam hal ini, sekolah memiliki peran strategis sebagai lembaga yang membentuk pola pikir, perilaku, dan karakter siswa agar mampu menghargai keberagaman serta hidup berdampingan secara damai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi literatur, observasi, dan wawancara terhadap guru dan siswa terkait implementasi moderasi beragama di sekolah. Data dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan untuk memperoleh gambaran yang komprehensif mengenai penerapan pendidikan interventif dalam lingkungan pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan interventif efektif dalam menanamkan nilai toleransi, sikap dialogis, dan penghargaan terhadap perbedaan. Selain itu, budaya sekolah yang inklusif, keteladanan guru, serta kegiatan keagamaan yang moderat berkontribusi dalam membentuk sikap moderat siswa secara berkelanjutan. Kata kunci: pendidikan interventif, moderasi beragama, sekolah, sikap moderat, toleransi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Tri Sandhya habituation, its supporting and inhibiting factors, and its implications for strengthening students’ religious character in Hindu Religious Education and Character Education at SMP Negeri 1 Denpasar. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the principal, Hindu Religious Education teachers, and students selected purposively. Data analysis followed the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña interactive model, including data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that Tri Sandhya habituation has been routinely implemented and integrated into the school culture. Its implementation is supported by school commitment, teachers’ role modeling, a religious environment, and active student participation. The inhibiting factors include differences in students’ understanding of the meaning of Tri Sandhya, the influence of digital technology, and the tendency of some students to perform prayers merely as a routine activity. The habituation process positively contributes to strengthening religious character, as reflected in improved discipline, responsibility, self-control, religious awareness, and positive behavior among students. The study concludes that Tri Sandhya habituation is an effective strategy for fostering students’ religious character through consistent and continuous spiritual practices.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has encouraged teachers to utilize interactive learning media in the classroom. One of the learning media that can be used is Zep Quiz, an animated and game-based learning platform capable of creating a more engaging learning atmosphere. This study aims to determine the implementation of animated learning media Zep Quiz, the obstacles and efforts in its implementation, and its implications for students’ learning interest in Hindu Religious Education and Character subjects in class VII F of SMP Negeri 1 Denpasar. This study used a qualitative approach with purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, documentation, and literature studies. The results showed that the implementation of Zep Quiz was carried out through planning, implementation, and evaluation stages integrated into the Teaching Module. The use of Zep Quiz was able to create interactive learning, increase student participation, and foster students’ learning interest. Obstacles encountered included unstable internet networks, limited time in preparing media, and students being distracted by game elements. The efforts made by teachers included coordinating with the school IT team, preparing quiz templates, and providing learning guidance during activities. The use of Zep Quiz also had implications for the development of teacher creativity, more structured learning, and easier evaluation of student learning outcomes.
