Abstract

Indonesia, the fourth most populous country in the world with 275.5 million people, faces increasing human activity that can lead to negative impacts such as the spread of infectious diseases. One of these diseases is Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF), which is particularly susceptible in residential areas with poor environmental hygiene. The rising number of DHF cases on Lombok Island is a significant concern. This study employs a spatial analysis modeling approach, specifically the Spatial Autoregressive Poisson (SAR Poisson) model, which considers the spatial dependence of dengue cases assumed to follow a Poisson distribution. The objective is to model and map the potential distribution of DHF cases on Lombok Island in 2021. The analysis reveals spatial autocorrelation in the data based on Moran's I. Significant variables affecting DHF cases include the number of permanent sanitation facilities (X2) and the number of drinking water facilities (X3). Mapping results based on the SAR Poisson model indicate that the distribution of DHF cases is relatively uniform across most sub-districts, with the highest incidence suspected in Tanjung Sub-district

Abstract

Changes in the production yield of three leading commodities in NTB Province continue to fluctuate and may harm society. To examine the condition of the production of cayenne pepper, red onion, and tomatoes based on rainfall in the coming period, a model is needed that can predict multivariate time sequence data. There are several models of multivariate time sequence analysis, one of which is the autoregressive exogenous vector (VARX). The VARX model is a multivariate time series model consisting of several endogenous variables (p) and supplemented with exogenous variables (q). The purpose of this study is to obtain a suitable VARX model and an estimation of cayenne pepper, onion, and tomato data. Using the VARX method, the optimum lag was obtained with the smallest Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) value, namely at lag 5 with a value of 66.5160. Based on the overfit carried out, the appropriate and best model to be estimated is VARX (1.1) with a total value of 66.42364, which meets the assumption of white noise and multivariate normal distribution that satisfies the optimum forecast amount.

Abstract

The use of technology in the world of education is a must where digital technology is currently an important part in supporting teaching and learning activities. Professional teachers have the obligation to plan learning, carry out quality learning processes, as well as assess and evaluate learning outcomes, so to carry out these obligations the first step a teacher must take is to design all learning tools. To improve this, it is considered important to provide workshops or training on Android-based learning media design. The workshop was carried out for one full day with details of the provision of materials, practice of making electronic applications and mentoring of participants after the workshop activities were completed. With the aim of increasing teacher competence in designing and utilizing android-based learning media in the learning process in the classroom. The workshop will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at SMAN 2 Selong. The results of the workshop illustrate that participants have been able to create android-based learning media applications.

Abstract

Accreditation is an acknowledgment from an accreditation body that an institution maintains a certain level of educational standards. Educational accreditation is a quality assurance process by which services and operating institutions, or educational programs are evaluated and verified by an external body to determine whether recognized and accepted standards are being met. If standards are met, accredited status is granted by the appropriate agency. To prepare for this it is considered important to provide assistance to every school that needs it, as was done by SDN 3 Suralaga. Assistance is carried out for 2 months, from April to May 2022. Assistance is carried out through 4 stages, namely 1) presentation of accreditation instrument material, 2) discussion and assistance on school readiness for accreditation, 3) physical evidence assistance, 4) preparation of physical evidence and 5) evaluation of sensitivity. The results of the assistance show that 1) the physical evidence prepared by each teacher who is given the task as the person in charge is ready and complete and 2) the school is ready for visitation.

Abstract

The uniqueness and cultural diversity of traditional communities as reflected in ideas, activities and artifacts can be studied and used as a source of learning mathematics. Most people view that mathematics is not related to culture or is culturally independent. The development of mathematics in society through cultural activities can be studied through ethnomathematics studies that can bring mathematics closer to student culture. Thus, this study aims to explore the number system and cultural meaning that developed in the Sasak people which can be used as a source of learning mathematics on the island of Lombok. This research is a research with ethnographic method. Research data was collected through observation, literature study, and interviews with cultural practitioners, traditional chief leaders, traditional leaders, Sasak cultural researchers and humanists. The results of this study indicate that the development of the number system has been developing for a long time in the Sasak people. Counting activities (bejinah) use arithmetic operations as is done in general but with local terms, namely total (rombok), less (sedik), times (kali) and divide (bagi). The developing number system is understood as a number in quantitative and qualitative form, in unit or set numbers. There are 5 types of unit or set numbers known by the Sasak people, namely bond units, measuring units for solid objects, measuring units for liquid objects, area units and length units. The mathematical concepts found in the activities of the Sasak people can be used as a source of learning and as a starting point in learning mathematics

Abstract

This study aims to cluster and visualize the earthquake data on a geographical map to determine earthquakes' characteristics using the k-means algorithm. Cluster analysis using the k-means algorithm was carried out on the earthquake data. K-means algorithm is familiar and is one of the well-known techniques to have been applied in cluster analysis. One of Its advantages in cluster analysis is scaling large datasets, for example, earthquake data. The data used in this study is earthquake data in the West Nusa Tenggara from 1991 to 2021. Applying the proposed k-means algorithm, the optimal number of clusters (k) used in this clustering is 2, based on the highest silhouette score of 0.749. The cluster analysis on the geographical map showed that the epicenters of the earthquakes were pretty spread out before 2018, and the number of earthquakes in the eastern region of West Nusa Tenggara is more than in the western area. However, in 2018, the clusters were all bunched in the northern Lombok region. There were a few earthquakes in the west region in 2018, but they happened before August 5. Even after 2019, most earthquakes continue to occur, with the epicenters clustered close to the northern Lombok region

Abstract

Indonesia is an equatorial country that has abundant natural wealth from the seabed to the top of the mountains, the beauty of the country of Indonesia also lies in the mountains that it has in various provinces, for example in the province of West Nusa Tenggara known for its beautiful mountain, namely Rinjani. The increase in outdoor activities has attracted many people to open outdoor shops in the West Nusa Tenggara region. Sales transaction data in outdoor stores can be processed into information that can be profitable for the store itself. Using a market basket analysis method to see the association (rules) between a number of sales attributes. The purpose of this study is to determine the pattern of relationships in the transactions that occur. The data used is the transaction data of outdoor goods. The analysis used is the Association Rules with the Apriori algorithm and the frequent pattern growth (FP-growth) algorithm. The results of this study are formed 10 rules in the Apriori algorithm and 4 rules in the FP-Growth algorithm. The relationship pattern or association rule that is formed is in the item "if a consumer buys a portable stove, it is possible that portable gas will also be purchased" at the strength level of the rules with a minimum support of 0.296 and confidence 0.774 at Apriori and 0.296 and 0.750 at FP-Growth.
