Abstract

This research aimed to explore the factors influencing individuals' inclination to contribute funds as waqf to Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. Additionally, the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) was used as the conceptual framework to analyse human behaviour. In this context, trust and waqf literacy were evaluated and identified as determinants of cash waqf intention. The partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) method was used to completely analyse and assess the model. Meanwhile, the questionnaires were distributed electronically to 436 respondents in Indonesia. The results showed that subjective norms, trust, and waqf literacy had a direct effect on attitudes. However, these variables did not have a direct impact on the intention to donate cash waqf in Islamic boarding schools. Attitudes did not influence the intention to donate cash waqf while perceived behavioural control (PBC) had a substantial impact on the variable.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the implementation of the social fund management system in the welfare of the community in Baitul Mal As'adiyah Wonomulyo. This article is included in field research with a qualitative approach. The methodology used is descriptive analysis studies and case studies. The results of the study concluded that the existence of Baitul Maal As'adiyah has a role and benefits in helping to improve micro, small and medium enterprises in the vicinity, namely by collecting Zakat, Infaq, and Shodaqoh funds from the community and then distributed to 8 asnaf and those who are entitled to receive them in the context of poverty alleviation efforts. In addition, the existence of Baitul Maal As'adiyah is able to minimize the space for the role of loan sharks whose existence is very detrimental to small businesses.

Abstract

Waqf is a form of worship that has a major contribution to world civilization. This research aims to analyze the role of waqf in building Islamic and Western civilization in higher education institutions. The method used is qualitative with a literature study approach, namely understanding and studying theories from various literature related to research. The research results show that Islamic education cannot be separated from the role of waqf. One proof of higher education built from waqf is Al-Qarawiyyin University in Morocco. This university has been named the oldest and first campus to use waqf. The concept of waqf developed and was adopted by the western world with the term endowment fund. Harvard University is an example of a university built from endowment funds. Indonesia is one of the countries that has also practiced waqf at higher education institutions, but has not been able to provide free education to underprivileged students. This research is an original study to motivate the Muslim community to be more enthusiastic about giving waqf to higher education. This study is also very important for practitioners and policy makers in evaluating the potential and role of waqf in developing Islamic higher education institutions

Abstract

The Islamic economic system is a moderate system that values private property and its development on conditions through justified means, does not tyrannize others, and has a very close relationship with the great Islamic morals and ethics. This article will describe the zakat blessings for Muzakki at BAZNAS Makassar City. This research is a type of field research that uses a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that the Islamic economic system is a moderate system that respects private property and its development with conditions through justified means, does not tyrannize others, and has a very close relationship with the great Islamic morals and ethics. The desired justice in the Islamic economic system does not solely lie in production and how to obtain it but also in its distribution and use, or utilization.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness and impact of distributing zakat, infaq, and alms (ZIS) funds for educational programs at Wahdah Inspirasi Zakat, Southeast Sulawesi. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with field research methods. The approach used is a case study with data collection methods through observation, interviews, and documentation. From the research results, it was found that the distribution of ZIS funds to the education program at Wahdah Inspirasi Zakat, Southeast Sulawesi has not been effective, because the Zakat funds collected from 2020 to 2022 have not been distributed as a priority to the education program. However, Wahdah Inspiration Zakat Sultra has distributed these funds for routine education every year in a scholarship program. Apart from that, the zakat, infaq, and alms (ZIS) distribution program at Wahdah Inspirasi Zakat Southeast Sulawesi has had a positive impact on zakat, infaq, and alms (ZIS) mustahik, including students with assistance with education costs.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze how to plan, implement and supervise economic empowerment at the Darul Qur'an At-Taqwa DDI Jampue Islamic boarding school, Pinrang Regency. The type of research used is qualitative using a phenomenological approach. The sources of research data are boarding school leaders and Islamic boarding school business managers. Furthermore, the data collection methods used were observation, interviews and documentation. Then there are three stages of data management and analysis techniques: data collection, data processing, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research indicate that currently the Darul Qur'an At-Taqwa Ddi Jampue Islamic boarding school, Pinrang Regency, is not yet effective in carrying out its economic empowerment management. Planning for economic empowerment has not been well structured, including in terms of determining tasks and responsibilities, as well as clarity of vision and mission, however at the implementation stage economic activities in Islamic boarding schools have gone well, although the funds obtained are still not able to fully support Islamic boarding school empowerment. Supervision at this cottage has been carried out quite well, they have formed a supervisory team and hold regular meetings. The implications of this research are: a) For the Islamic boarding school and business managers of the Darul Qur'an At-Taqwa DDI Jampue Islamic boarding school, Pinrang Regency, they can explore further the business potential that can be developed in their area to provide opportunities for all students in the Islamic boarding school. . For santri and female students to be more active and enthusiastic in the economic empowerment process, because financial skills training is an added value that can be obtained from Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana efektivitas strategi fundraising berbasis online di Wahdah Inspirasi Zakat Kota Makassar, penelitian ini juga ingin mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan dan juga seberapa efektif penerapan strategi fundraising berbasis online di Lembaga Wahdah Inspirasi. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiologi, sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder, selanjutnya metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan kepustakaan. Uji keabsahan data yang digunakan ialah metode triangulasi, reduksi data, penyajian data yang selanjutnya melalukan penarikan kesimpulan, pengujian keabsahan data dengan melakukan metode triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasanya pelaksanaan strategi fundraising online di Wahdah Inspirasi Zakat kota makassar memiliki beberapa fitur yang menarik yang mampu memikat hati masyarakat untuk menjadi donatur tetapnya dan juga dengan adanya penghimpunan dana berbasis online ini mampu meningkatkan penghimpun dananya di tiga tahun belakangan ini walaupun di tengah pendemi covid 19 yang mengakibatkan ruang gerak masyarakat menjadi terbatas.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the system of collecting and distributing ZIS funds at BAZNAS Bantaeng Regency, researchers also want to know the effectiveness of collecting and distributing ZIS funds at BAZNAS Bantaeng Regency. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach, while the data sources used are primary data and secondary data, further collection methods used are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the ZIS fund collection system at BAZNAS Bantaeng Regency is divided into two, namely the direct and indirect collection system. Then the distribution system consists of consumptive and productive distribution. Consumptive distribution is divided into two, namely traditional consumptive and creative consumptive, as well as productive distribution which is divided into traditional productive and creative productive. The effectiveness of the collection and distribution of ZIS funds at BAZNAS Bantaeng Regency can not be said to be effective as a whole when viewed from the measurements according to Campbell J.P where effectiveness can be achieved if it achieves program success, target success, satisfaction with the program, input and output levels and overall goals. However, from this fifth measurement, there are still some that have not been achieved because the collection of ZIS funds has not been evenly distributed to all circles of society, so that the collected ZIS funds do not reach the planned target. Then, in terms of the distribution of ZIS, the distribution is more consumptive in nature and the planning for the distribution of ZIS funds has not yet reached its planning target.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi pemasaran yang di lakukan oleh usaha pedagang kaki lima di lapangan syekh yusuf dan apa kendala-kendala yang terjadi dalam proses pemasaran yang di lakukan pedagang kaki lima di lapangan syekh yusuf kabupaten Gowa. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dengan sumber data yang di gunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder,selanjutnya metode pengumpulan data yang di lakukan adalah berupa kata-kata,gambar dan bukan angka.Uji keabsahan data yang di gunakan ialah metode Triangulasi dan peningkatan ketekunan yang selanjutnya melakukan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pedagang kaki lima di lapangan syekh yusuf dalam melakukan peningkatan penjualan belum sepenuhnya memenuhi kriteria yang telah di anjurkan dalam Islam.Dimana barang-barang yang mereka jual belum memiliki sertifikat halal dan belum tentu aman untuk di gunakan oleh konsumen. Akan tetapi jika di lihat dari segi makanan pedagang kaki lima di lapangan syekh yusuf mereka menjual mkanan yang tidak mengandung zat-zat yang berbahaya, mengutamakan kebersihan dan juga tidak melakukan hal-hal yang di larang dalam agama Islam seperti riba,maysir,gharar dalam memasarkan barang. Kepada pedagang kaki lima untuk terus menjaga dan meningkatkan strategi mereka dalam berdagang agar dapat bertahan di setiap persaingan sebagai motivasi agar mampu bertahan untuk terus berusaha.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh religiusitas dan citra lembaga terhadap keputusan muzakki membayar zakat di Baznas Kabupaten Bulukumba. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian asosiatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder, teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik penarikan sampel purposive sampling. Teknik penentuan sampel dengan menggunakan kriteria-kriteria tertentu, sehingga jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 364 responden. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan bantuan SPSS versi 2.0 for windows, yang diarahkan untuk menjawab rumusan masalah atau hipotesis yang telah dirumuskan dalam penelitian ini serta digunakan untuk menguji hubungan variabel religiusitas dan citra lembaga terhadap keputusan muzakki membayar zakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa religiusitas berpengaruh positif terhadap keputusan muzakki membayar zakat, citra lembaga berpengaruh posotof terhadap keputusan muzakki membayar zakat.
