Abstract

SKH Republika menurunkan banyak tulisan mengenai isu lesbian, gay, biseksual dan transgender (LGBT) selama kurun waktu 24 Januari – 31 Maret 2016. Pertanyaan penelitian yang diajukan : (1) bagaimana representasi ideologi dan (2) seksualitas dalam pemberitaan SKH Republika?Metode Penelitian yang dipilih adalah analisis wacana Van Dijk dengan pendekatan intensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum SKH Republika menawarkan wacana anti LGBT melalui pemilihan narasumber dan pendapat mereka yang dikutip. Representasi ideologi yang ditampilkan bahwa LGBT bersandar pada ideologi liberalisme dan universalisme yang bertentangan dengan nilai, norma, dan hukum nasional Indonesia. Sedangkan wacana seksualitas direpresentasikan melalui kuasa pengetahuan bersumber dari psikolog islam dan institusi otoritatif yaitu agama, negara dan pendidikan. Semua narasumber islam di tiga institusi tersebut menolak LGBT sedangkan narasumber negara non-islam bersifat moderat dengan membatasi penampilan mereka di ruang publik, selanjutnya peneliti sekuler menerima praktik LGBT sebagai salah satu jalan masuk membentuk pengetahuan dan kesetaraan hukum.Kata kunci : Republika, wacana, LGBT, kuasa, seksualitas, pengetahuanThe Republika Daily published abundant articles about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) during the period January 24 to March 31, 2016. The research question: (1) how do the representation of ideology and (2) sexuality in the news SKH Republika? The Van Dijk’s discourse analysis with intentional approach was employed. In general The Republika Daily offers anti-LGBT discourse through the selection of speakers and their opinions are cited. According to The Republika Daily, ideology representation that is based on liberalism and universalism is against values, norms, and Indonesian national law. While the discourse of sexuality is represented by the power of knowledge comes from psychologists Islam and authoritative institution that is religion, state and education. All sources of Islam in the three institutions while the informant refused LGBT non-Islamic countries are moderate by limiting their appearance in the public space, the next secular researchers accept LGBT practices as one way in shaping the knowledge and legal equality. Keywords: Republika, discourse, LGBT, power, sexuality, knowledge

Abstract

Secara konseptual, kearifan lokal adalah nilai-nilai yang diaktualisasikan, atau dilaksanakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, yang mencerminkan jati diri suatu komunitas dalam batas kolektivitas tertentu. Kearifan lokal merupakan local genius sehingga merupakan kekayaan luar biasa yang di miliki Bangsa Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu evaluasi yang sistematik untuk mengidentifikasi seperangkat nilai-nilai kearifan dalam Budaya Jawa, kemudian mengevaluasi keefektifan program revitalisasi kearifan lokal tersebut bagi warga sekolah. Studi ini merupakan studi evaluasi dengan model CIPP. Wawancara dan pengamatan digunakan dalam pengumpulan data. Analisis data mengikuti model analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi proses pengumpulan data, penyajian data, reduksi data, dan membuat kesimpulan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan: (1) Konteks, adanya kesesuaian antara perencanaan program dengan kebutuhan; (2) Input, komitmen guru dan ketersediaan sarana prasarana; (3) Proses, cara yang dilakukan oleh sekolah untuk merevitalisasi nilai-nilai kearifan lokal Budaya Jawa di sekolah mencakup pengawasan, membuat peraturan, penggunaan pakaian adat, pembinaan kemampuan berbahasa Jawa; (3) Produk, nilai-nilai kearifan local Budaya Jawa yang direvitalisasi sebagai acuan etika komunikasi mencakup: empan papan, ajining dhiri gumantung kedaling lathi, lembah manah andhap asor, manjing ajur-ajer, jembar segarane, aja adigang adigung adiguna, nglurug tanpa bala menang tanpa ngasorake sekti tanpa aji, hamemayu hayuning bawana.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pandemi Covid-19 berdampak pada penjualan konvensional yang dilakukan oleh Badan Usaha Milik Masyarakat (Bummas) Tirta Mandiri, Jogotirto, Berbah, Sleman. Agar dapat tetap mendapatkan keuntungan, anggota Bummas perlu beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi dan informasi dengan mulai melakukan pemasaran digital. Salah satu bentuk pemasaran digital yang aman dan direkomendasikan adalah marketplace. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keahlian pemasaran digital dengan menggunakan marketplace pada anggota Bummas. Adapun jumlah anggota Bummas yang mengikuti kegiatan ini berjumlah 25 orang. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Kegiatan tersebut mulai dari membuat konten promosi, membuat akun, hingga memasarkan melalui marketplace. Hasil yang dicapai dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah 100% peserta menyatakan bahwa kemampuan hardskill dan softskill peserta meningkat. 100% peserta juga berhasil membuat akun marketplace dan memposting produk pertamanya. Berdasarkan evaluasi kegiatan, diperoleh masukan agar kegiatan pengabdian seperti ini dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan dengan mengangkat tema lain yang relevan dengan kebutuhan khalayak. Abstract: The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted conventional sales carried out by Community-Owned Enterprises (Bummas) Tirta Mandiri, Jogotirto, Berbah, Sleman. To remain profitable, Bummas members need to adapt to developments in technology and information by starting to do digital marketing. One form of digital marketing that is safe and recommended in the marketplace. This community service activity aims to improve digital marketing skills by using the marketplace for Bummas members. The number of Bummas members who participated in this activity amounted to 25 people. The method of implementing this service activity is, training and mentoring. These activities range from creating promotional content, creating accounts, to marketing through the marketplace. The results achieved from this service activity are 100% of the participants stating that the participants' hard skills and soft skills have increased. 100% of participants also managed to create a marketplace account and post their first product. Based on the evaluation of activities, input was obtained so that service activities like this were carried out sustainably by raising other themes that were relevant to the needs of the audience.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to find out the effect of financial literacy and personality traits on personal financial management. The population in this study was all students of the Faculty of Economics, which consisted of 1068 students, and 258 students were selected as the samples of this study using a proportional cluster random sampling system. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression. The result of this study showed that financial literacy and personality, whether simultaneous or partial, significantly and positively affect the personal financial management of students.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh literasi keuangan dan ciri-ciri kepribadian terhadap pengelolaan keuangan pribadi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi yang berjumlah 1068 mahasiswa dan dipilih sebanyak 258 mahasiswa yang digunakan sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan teknik proportional cluster random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan literasi keuangan dan kepribadian, baik secara simultan ataupun parsial, berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pengelolaan keuangan pribadi mahasiswa.

Abstract

This qualitative research article aims to explain the determinant factors that influence viewers to choose TV's channels in the disruptive era. In the period triggered by the increase of the internet and digital technology, many innovations emerged, potentially disturbing and destroying the old system. Loyalty in the broadcasting industry of the disruptive age is temporary and can change quickly. Viewers effortlessly change their TV channels according to their interests and desires. Therefore, TV managers have to pay attention to various factors on TV's audience to choose TV channels. These determinant factors occupy a prominent position among TV station managers in Indonesia and around the globe as an essential contrive to grab the attention of TV viewers. Primary data was dig using the focus group discussion (FGD) before the Covid-19 pandemic occurred. The authors conducted five FGDs involving 9-12 participants in each FGD. This research found that there are 23 determinant factors influencing audience in choosing TV channels in the disruptive era. The 23 factors are divided into four categories namely, TV program content, audience's purposes, corporate action, and community influence. The conclusion is, from four determinants factors, the range of TV content comprises the most varied category. In contrast, community influence factor occupies the last position with one variation.

Abstract

Adanya Pandemi Covid-19 berdampak pada usaha mikro yang dilakukan oleh ibu rumah tangga yang tergabung dalam PKK Kelurahan Imogiri, Bantul, Yogyakarta.  Social distancing yang diterapkan pemerintah menyebabkan penjualan mereka menurun. Diperlukan skill baru dalam adaptasi teknologi untuk tetap bertahan di era pandemi, yaitu melalui pemasaran digital. Marketplace adalah salah satu langkah untuk berjualan online dengan aman, mudah, dan mampu menjangkau banyak target customer.Tujuan kegiatan pemasaran masyarakat ini untuk meningkatkan skill ibu rumah tangga dalam berjualan online melalui marketplace. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu, pelatihan secara luring dengan mematuhi protocol kesehatan dan pendampingan secara daring melalui grup whatsapp. Kegiatan tersebut dimulai dari membuat foto produk, membuat akun, hingga memasarkannya melalui marketplace.Hasil yang dicapai dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah kegiatan pelatihan sangat relevan dengan kebutuhan khalayak sasaran, serta dapat dirasakan manfaatnya. Berdasarkan evaluasi kegiatan diperoleh masukan agar kegiatan pengabdian seperti ini dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan dengan mengangkat tema lain yang relevan dengan kebutuhan khalayak.

Abstract

Ketergantungan masyarakat terhadap pupuk kimia perlu mendapat perhatian dari Perguruan Tinggi. Pasalnya, pupuk kimia dapat mengurangi kesuburan tanah. Oleh karena itu, perguruan tinggi perlu melatih dan mendampingi masyarakat agar beralih menggunakan pupuk organik. Pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan pupuk dirancang sebagai upaya mengurangi ketergantungan masyarakat dengan pupuk kimia. Selain itu, pelatihan dan pendampingan ini untuk mengolah potensi wilayah, dalam hal ini pupuk kandang, untuk meningkatkan produktifitas dan ekonomi masyarakat. Hasil pelatihan dan pendampingan ini menunjukkan bahwa kemitraan antara perguruan tinggi dan masyarakat menjadi penting. Kemitraan ini menjadikan masyarakat semakin mandiri dan berdaya saing. Selain itu, program pelatihan dan pendampingan ini menunjukkan komitmen perguruan tinggi dalam meningkatkan harkat dan martabat masyarakat.The dependence of the community on chemical fertilizers needs the attention of universities. The reason is, chemical fertilizers can reduce soil fertility. Therefore, universities need to train and assist the community in switching to using organic fertilizers. Training and assistance in making fertilizers is an effort to reduce community dependence on chemical fertilizers. Also, this training and mentoring are to process the region's potential, in this case, manure, to increase the community's productivity and economy. The results of this training and mentoring show that the partnership between universities and the city is essential. This partnership makes the community more independent and competitive. Also, this training and mentoring program shows the university's commitment to improving the city's dignity.

Abstract

In the 21st Century, advances in information and technology have spurred open access to economic learning for preservice teachers. Reinventing competencies needs to be done to keep pace with the advancement of knowledge and technology in the industrial revolution era. This paper aims to investigate the competence of preservice teachers of economics in the industrial revolution era. The literature review is used to find the challenges faced and the competencies needed by prospective economics teachers. Various relevant and credible literature (Science Direct, Taylor Francis, Emerald) for two decades have been fast reviewed and comprehensively to show the phases, levels, knowledge, competencies, and cognitive-noncognitive domains. The review findings reveal the challenges that preservice teachers of economics face as a provision for mastering competencies as teachers in the industrial revolution era. Next, a synthesis of the competency reviews is needed for preservice teachers of economics to present relevant and credible studies. Finally, this paper has implications for competencies that need to be prepared or reinvented through actions and policies that lead to professional economics teachers.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has revolutionized the field of education. Online learning is the right solution to replace in-person learning. Improvement and development of the online learning process are really needed to provide a meaningful learning experience for students. This study aimed to examine the implementation of online learning in the Faculty of Social Sciences, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta/FIS UNY during the pandemic. The quantitative observational approach with a cross-sectional survey was employed with the qualitative method done in group discussions. The respondents were selected using proportional stratified random sampling on all study programs in FIS UNY. Data were collected through an online survey and limited interviews to investigate students’ and lecturers’ experiences of online learning more deeply. In FIS UNY, online learning was mostly conducted through online synchronous learning. Besides, online learning was done using a learning management system developed by the university (BeSmart). There were several factors that influenced the practice of online learning at the faculty, namely the availability of learning devices, speed and stability of internet connection, and conducive learning environment. As many as 25.6% of students had issues related to learning devices. Then, 66.9% of the students stated that they did not have a stable internet connection which caused problems during the learning process. At last, 62.79% of the students admitted that it was difficult to focus on the learning process because their learning environment was not conducive. Besides IT skills, students’ independence and learning motivation were the internal factors influencing the online learning process. Another issue related to online learning was the lack of responses and feedback from the lecturers on the activities done by the students.

Abstract

Indonesia's struggle against the colonial powers, namely Japan and the Netherlands, began in the period between 1945 and 1949. In this case, the previous fighters fought for all their souls and bodies to seize and defend the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia from the shackles of the colonial invaders. Not only that, the economic, social, and psychological conditions were felt by the community and had a very large impact due to colonialism. The call of his conscience does not make him waver, the spirit does not waver, even though life is a bet between life and death at the last drop of blood. The generation of young people, especially students or students, is expected to be able to regenerate the values "‹"‹of the struggle of a figure who has fought for Indonesian independence, one of which is the struggle of a KH figure. Ghalib in Pringsewu, Lampung Province. The research aims to identify specifically the Struggle of KH. Ghalib in the Application of Character Education in Pringsewu Lampung. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method, with a biographical approach. The struggle of KH. Ghalib is one of the fighters from Pringsewu Lampung, along with other fighters fighting in the way of Allah, with Laskar Hezbollah, Sabillah, and Garuda Hitam fighters for the benefit of the people, defending the truth, and seizing independence from the Dutch colonialists. The exemplary values "‹"‹of struggle from the figure of KH. Ghalib can be a role model for the younger generation, especially for students or students. The values "‹"‹of the struggle of KH. Ghalib can be implemented in the application of character education in Pringsewu Lampung, one of which is always doing good, respecting the sick, maintaining inter-religious harmony, and being responsible for the interests of the people.
