Abstract

The Babakan Limbangan Village was one of village in the Sukaraja, Sukabumi district.  This an area  develops the aquaculture and fisheries processing sectors. Quality assurance system the products has not been  done at the processing location. The processing group in Babakan Limbangan village, Sukabumi need to be given knowledge for food safety, quality assurance systems and apply Good Manufacturing Practics (GMP). The purpose of this activity is increase comunmunity knowledge of food safety and creativity. The infomation transfer was done by seminar and make a products. The results of this activity there was increase the knowledge of the community how to process fishery products with good quality and skill of partners about aquatict product technology.

Abstract

This activity conduct to help the preparation of people included in Posdaya group to build the urban agricultural tourism, and also exploring the natural potentials that can be utilized by the community. Hopefully those aims could grow the economic sectors of Bogor City. The method used within this activity are Active Participation, Accompaniment and Training Forms, targeted the people included in Posdaya group. The result of this activity is to make sure that people who are included in Posdaya group have been established and ready in technically or either non-technically to make any changes or movements towards the urban agricultural tourism of Bogor City. Beautiful natural resources is a potential that can be used by the community to attract tourists to visit the location so they could grow the economic sector in the community.

Abstract

Landslides are one of the natural disasters that occur due to shifting movement of soil and other rock material. Factors that cause landslides are unsupportive soil structures and additional burdens on human activities that cause the carrying capacity and soil resistance to decrease. The community in RW 06 Kelurahan Cimahpar is an area prone to landslides, in 2019 there have been at least four houses affected by the disaster. RW 06 Cimahpar area is an area that is crossed by a river, and many residents are building houses on landslide prone structures. The socialization of the landslide emergency response system aims to provide knowledge to the community in order to minimize the adverse impacts caused by the disaster, and to mitigate the disaster.

Abstract

This activity was carried out in Bubulak Village RW 06, where most of the residents work as traders and small entrepreneurs (micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs)). The existing MSMEs can be used as community economic empowerment and the number of workers that can be absorbed, but the rapid growth in the number of MSMEs is not accompanied by high sales figures. One of the problems faced in sales is the reach of marketing areas, so knowledge is needed to find out how to analyze market opportunities, how to choose target markets, and how to manage effective marketing efforts that are supported by the effectiveness of marketing communication itself. This activity aims to provide knowledge about the use of social media as marketing media and provide skills to MSME owners in utilizing social media in order to increase marketing outreach. Community service activities are carried out in the form of training by providing materials and practices using social media. The success of this community service activity is supported by the following factors: 1) There is support from the Bubulak Village RW 06 apparatus, 2) There is support from the local community, especially MSME owners in Bubulak Village RW 06, 3) All participants are fully aware of the need ¬tention and benefits of this counseling in order to increase its ability in the use of social media to increase the range of marketing of MSME products, especially in Bubulak Village RW 06, 4) Infrastructure facilities provided by the MSME owner community in Bubulak Village RW 06. Counseling conducted by The SUIJI - SLP team can achieve the expected goals, namely increasing the knowledge of MSME owners, especially in terms of utilizing social media to increase the reach of MSME product marketing. Abstract

The Japanese eel fish (Anguilla spp.) is a high economical consumption fish with high nutritional content. Japanese eel fish according to high protein (16.4%) And vitamin A amounted to 4700IU. In addition, a Japanese eel fish (glass eel) also containing unsaturated fatty acids (EPA and DHA). One of the areas in Indonesia that has a great potential for glass eel resources is the province of West Java precisely at the estuary of Cimandiri River, Sukabumi. High export demand resulted in an increased arrest effort at Palabuhanratu Bay to threaten its population. This study aims to examine the activities of the Japanese Eel fish seed arrest accompanied by the sustainable management of the Japanese Eel fish resources in the estuary of Cimandiri River, West Java. The threat of a Japanese Eel resource on the Cimandiri River is caused by several factors. Such factors are such as environmental pollution, uncontrolled overfishing or arrest, and low awareness of the public to conduct sustainable use of the Japanese eel fish. Therefore, the solution that can be applied is community based management. Community-based management of this Japanese eel resource is a management with a community-based cultivation strategy. The cultivation of Japanese eel is a step in the preservation of Japanese eel as well as impact on the improvement of social life and community economy. Abstract

Nutmeg syrup is one of the processed nutmeg meat products that has high selling potential. One of the nutmeg syrup producers in the Bogor area is DP Segar Sari. The purpose of this activity is to find out the potential and problems related to the production of Segar Sari DP nutmeg syrup in Bubulak Sub-District, Dramaga Sub-District, Bogor Regency, West Java Province through the Six-Univeristies Iniatitive Japan-Indonesia Service and Learning Program (SUIJI-SLP) 2019. Method used in this activity are field studies and interviews with DP Segar Sari owners to find out the existing problems. The problem solving method is carried out by means of literature study. DP Segar Sari nutmeg syrup requires the addition of natural preservatives and purifiers to improve its quality. Based on literature studies, it is known that chitosan added to nutmeg syrup can influence the nature and characteristics of nutmeg syrup, with the right addition can optimize the selling value of nutmeg syrup. Chitosan is able to prevent the growth of bacteria and mold, thereby extending shelf life. Chitosan is also able to clear up nutmeg syrup so it looks more attractive. Abstract

Covid-19 outbreak was present in the community in 2020 which brought serious attention to the government. The negative impact not only on health problems, but also affects the economy of the country and even the world. This topic will discuss village development planning related to the country's economy before and during the Covid-19 outbreak. The purpose of this study was to analyze community participation in the development planning of Cihideung Ilir Village during the Covid-19 outbreak. The research method used is descriptive qualitative by describing the phenomena and the existing literature. Many professions have been disturbed by the Covid-19 outbreak. The findings of this study suggest that awareness to community participation in promoting village development is the beginning of the community's economic prosperity during the Covid-19 outbreak. The factors that influence participation in the community include gender, age, educational level, employment and income, and the period of residency in an area. Abstract

This study aims to estimate the value of the community's Willingness to Pay (WTP) towards the preservation of water resources in Sukadamai Village and to estimate the economic value of water resources in Sukadamai Village, Dramaga District, Bogor, West Java. This research was conducted in February to March 2020, using primary and secondary data with random sampling methods and the respondents as many as 30 people. Analysis of the data used is quantitatively using the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM). Contingent Valuation Method is a method of gathering information about people’s preference or willingness to pay with direct questioning techniques. The results showed that the water resources in Sukadamai Village has several problems in the payment of fees and waste problems. The analysis also shows that of the 15 respondents, there were 5 respondents who were willing to pay more with an average Willingness to Pay of Rp 11,667 / KK / month using non-parametric calculations of Turnbull and K-M-T techniques. The estimation of the economic value of the water resources in Sukadamai is Rp. 28,747,488. The results of the analysis show that public awareness about the importance of the water resources existence in Sukadamai Village is still very low. Abstract

PT Rumah Rumput Laut (RRL) is one company that produces cosmetic products from processed seaweed. Seaweed processing is one way to increase the industry's absorption of seaweed commodities which is still low in Indonesia, especially non-food products. The location of the company is in Bogor Regency. In the midst of a pandemic of the Covid-19 epidemic, cosmetic competition will continue. The purpose of this research is to describe the cosmetic products made from seaweed, knowing the quality and competitiveness of cosmetics made from seaweed in the market before and after the Covid-19 outbreak. Cosmetic products from PT Rumah Rumput Laut are divided into three categories, namely mask, cream, and pomade. Data collection method is done by interviewing the company manager. The company is still producing amid the Covid-19 outbreak. However, the amount of production and sales decreased amid this Covid-19 outbreak. Abstract

Water is a living medium of aquatic organisms. Water plays an important role in aquaculture. Good water quality will determine the survival of the fish being cultivated. Recirculation is an effort to maintain water quality and overcome water problems in the Sukadamai Village aquaculture pond. This activity was carried out in RW 4 of Sukadamai Village, Dramaga District, Bogor Regency which aims to analyze the potential of fisheries in the Sukadamai Village aquaculture pond, the use of recirculation to maintain water quality. This activity was carried out on Friday, February 28, 2020 in the House of Pak Nadi RW 4, Sukadamai Village, Dramaga District, Bogor Regency, West Java. The data collection method is by interview and analyzed descriptively. The results of this activity found that the quality of the waters in the Sukadamai Village aquaculture pond was quite good because it directly used natural springs. Recirculation can be used to overcome the problem of far springs from the location of cultivation so that water can be reused. The use of filters can optimize the recirculation system in the Sukadamai Village aquaculture pond. The conclusion is that the problem of water quality is not too felt by farmers in Sukadamai Village. Keywords: resirculation, tilapia, water quality
