Abstract

The aim of this study was to see how learning results differ before and after using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, as well as to see how the PBL learning model affects the electrochemistry material in class XII IPA SMA N 11 Pontianak. The form of research used with a research sample of 35 persons was pre-experimental using a one-group pretest-posttest design. Pre-test and post-test data collecting methods were used. The normality test with the Shapiro-Wilk test was employed in the data analysis technique, and the results of the pre-test and post-test revealed that the data were not normally distributed, with Asymp.Sig.(2-tailed) less than 0.05. The Asymp.Sig.(2-tailed) value of the Wilcoxon test was less than 0.05. These findings suggest that there are changes in learning outcomes before and after using a PBL learning paradigm as a treatment. The pre-test and post-test mean scores were 53.71 and 84.57, respectively. An increasing in learning outcomes in electrochemical material is obtained by obtaining an effect size calculation value of 1.6, or the equivalent of 33% of the contribution of the PBL model.Based on the result of the pre-test & post-test there are difference in learning outcomes before and after using the PBL.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) of High School Chemistry teachers. The method used is descriptive quantitative method. The participants involved in this study were 42 high school chemistry teachers from 42 different schools in Kalimantan Barat. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire adapted from the TPACK Assessment developed by Schmidt, Baran, Thompson, Mishra, Koehler & Shin (2009) with 5 answer options with a Likert scale. Based on data analysis, the average TPACK ability score in each aspect is: for the TK aspect 75.03 with a good category; the average score on the CK aspect is 72.82 in the good category; the average score for the PK aspect; 76.12 in the good category; PCK aspect; 72.62 also in the good category; the TCK aspect; 71.43 in the good categor; in the TPK aspect; 75.71 in the good category; and in the last aspect, TPACK; an average score of 72.48 was obtained which is in the good category. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that chemistry teachers in Kalimantan Barat have a good TPACK abilities, thus those teachers properly use the technology in the teaching process. The range of correlation data shows a strong and very strong relationship with a positive correlation coefficient ranging from 0.691-0.931. This shows a significant correlation for each aspect of TPACK.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan e-modul laju reaksi menggunakan model problem based learning serta mengetahui respon peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development (R&D) model ADDIE, dimulai dari tahap analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation yang hanya dilakukan hingga tahap development. Subjek penelitian berupa e-modul yang diujicobakan dengan melibatkan 42 peserta didik kelas XI MIA di SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. Uji coba yang dilakukan meliputi uji perorangan, uji kelompok kecil serta uji coba utama. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar penilaian kelayakan & angket respon peserta didik. Penilaian kelayakan melibatkan tiga ahli untuk masing-masing aspek meliputi aspek materi, bahasa, kegrafikan. Penilaian kelayakan menunjukkan hasil dengan kriteria sangat layak dan diperoleh persentase rata-rata untuk kelayakan materi 97,22%, kelayakan bahasa 94,44%, kelayakan kegrafikan 93,18%. Kemudian hasil angket respon peserta didik diperoleh kriteria respon sangat baik, dengan persentase rata-rata pada uji perorangan 84,99%, uji kelompok kecil 86,66% serta uji coba utama 87,19%. Oleh karena itu, e-modul laju reaksi menggunakan model problem based learning layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan kelayakan video ikatan kimia dengan pendekatan multipel representasi yang dikembangkan. Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu Research and Development (R&D) dan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu video ikatan kimia dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu komunikasi tidak langsung dan teknik pengukuran yang berupa instrumen angket kelayakan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penilaian kelayakan dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa video yang dikembangkan ditinjau berdasarkan aspek materi mendapat persentase sebesar 86%, aspek bahasa sebesar 92% dan  aspek media sebesar 95%. Maka berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian ini dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa video yang dikembangkan sangat layak dan dapat diujicobakan

Abstract

Kementerian pendidikan, kebudayaan, riset dan teknologi telah mengeluarkan kebijakan agar seluruh perguruan tinggi di Indonesia melakukan transformasi pendidikan tinggi sesuai dengan delapan indikator kinerja utama perguruan tinggi yang salah satunya adalah internasionalisasi perguruan tinggi. Pencapaian tersebut diperoleh dari mobilitas dan kerja sama internasional yang dilakukan oleh sivitas akademika, yaitu dosen dan mahasiswa. Program studi pendidikan kimia FKIP universitas Tanjungpura berupaya berkonstribusi melalui mobilitas internasional dosen dan mahasiswa. Namun, kendala yang dihadapi adalah rendahnya kemampuan berbahasa asing dan minimnya informasi mengenai peluang mobilitas dan kerja sama internasional ini di kalangan mahasiswa. Hal ini menyebabkan rendahnya motivasi mahasiswa dalam berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan berskala internasional. Melihat hal itu, program pengabdian kepada masyarakat kepada para mahasiswa mengenai peluang mobilitas internasional dilaksanakan agar membuka wawasan dan meningkatkan motivasi mahasiswa. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan mengundang narasumber yang berkompeten dan membagikan angket kuisioner dan wawancara untuk mendapatkan respon dan pendapat mahasiswa mengenai kegiatan ini. Peluang dan strategi perolehan kerja sama dan hibah dari organisasi internasional, terutama eropa, disampaikan dengan gamblang oleh narasumber. Respon sangat positif diberikan oleh mahasiswa. Data angket kuisioner dan interview memperlihatkan bahwa mahasiswa termotivasi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa asingnya dan memiliki kemauan untuk terlibat dalam mobilitas internasional.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat proporsi yang dimiliki oleh mahasisiwa pendidikan kimia dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran sebagai tugas akhir. Subjek penelitian skripsi ini yaitu mahasiswa pendidikan kimia FKIP UNTAN yang telah menyelesaikan studi pada kurun waktu 4 tahun yaitu 2018-2021 yang berjumlah 103 skripsi yang melakukan penelitian pengembangan. Dari 103 skripsi tersebut terdapat 63 skripsi tentang pengembangan media pembelajaran (cetak). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode meta-analisis dengan teknik pengolahan data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan mahasiswa kimia pendidikan termasuk kreatif ditunjukan dengan proporsi mencapai 76% .Nilai proporsi tersebut diperoleh dari rata-rata pengembangan media dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan tertentu.

Abstract

Molecular geometry is a subject that many students find difficult to understand. This is because students have to imagine those molecules in order to fully understand the content. To help students understand those concepts, the learning meda that can be seen directly is needed. This study aims to produce students’ worksheet (LKPD) on molecular geometry and a Hy-Kit (Hybridization Kit) based on discovery learning. In addition, the validity and students’ responses also measured towards those LKPD and Hy-Kit. The LKPD was arranged based on discovery learning model and equipped with Hy-Kit. The research method is a research and development using the ADDIE model. The test of the product was carried out twice. These are group tests (limited tests) and field tests. The result of the study that discovery learning-based LKPD and Hy-Kit had a validity level of materials aspect, the level of media aspect and level of bahasa aspect were k=1.00 with very high category. The response of students for the group test and for the field test were k= 0.89 and k=0.90 which means very good/valid/very interested. Both results indicates that the LKPD and Hy-Kit are valid, feasible and ready to use in the learning process

Abstract

The integration between the three levels of chemical representations is needed by students to get a comprehensive understanding. Based on the preliminary study only 45.5% out of 120 year 2 and year 3 students of chemistry education who passed the final exam with satisfactory category. Thus, teaching resources that integrate the three levels of chemical representation are needed. The aim of this study is to develop and determine the level of validity of e-module utilizing multiple representations of molecular shapes based on VSEPR theory using augmented reality technology. This research employs research and development refers to the instructional design of the ADDIE model consist of 5 stages: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation and Evaluation. The products of this research are the e-module of molecular shapes based on VSEPR theory utilizing multiple representations and Augmented Reality Molecule Simulator (ARMOR) application. The resources presented 13 types of molecular shapes, molecules with lone pair and without lone pair of electrons around the central atom. The instrument used in this study is the validity questionnaire sheet. Data collected were then analyzed using the percentage criteria proposed by Akbar. The results of the experts’ validation indicated that the product is categorized as very valid with 94% of content validity, 93% of media validity, and 99% of language validity. Therefore, the ARMOR is suitable for use in teaching and learning process. Students show a positive response to the use of the application in helping them understand concepts, which are easy to use, has an attractive appearance, and fun.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap dan menganalisis tentang Penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam pembelajaran mate-matika untuk mengembangkan kemampuan penyelesaian masalah matematis di kelas V SDN 16 Mengkiang Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Bentuk penelitian yang dipilih untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut adalah penelitian eksperimen, sebab melihat pengaruh-pengaruh dari variabel bebas terhadap satu atau lebih variabel yang lain dalam kondisi yang terkontrol, dengan sampel penelitian peserta didik kelas V SDN 16 Mengkiang. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari soal test untuk mengukur kemampuan penyelesaian masalah matematis peserta didik dalam materi operasi hitung satuan waktu yang berhubungan dengan jam, menit dan detik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah: (1) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara peserta didik yang diberi pembelajaran model PBL dan pembelajaran konvensional; (2) terdapat perbedaan kinerja penyelesaian masalah matematis antara peserta didik tingkat kemampuan atas, menengah, dan bawah yang memperoleh pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan PBL; (3) terdapat interaksi antara penyelesaian masalah matematis dan tingkat kemampuan peserta didik setelah diberi pembelajaran matematika dengan model PBL

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are needed in solving problems because identitying problems requires an analytical thinking process based on clear data and reasons. The purpose of this study was to describe the critical thinking skills of chemistry education students class of 2020 in solving problems related to the mole concept. The type of research used in this study is descriptive quantitative. Subjects who participated voluntarily in this study were 38 people out of 49 chemistry education students class of 2020. Data collection techniques using measurement and direct communication. The research instrument used was adopted from the stoichiometry e-book developed by Rahmat Rasmawan in 2022 which has been validated by 10 validators with a score of 85 which means it is valid and can be used. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis. The results showed that critical thinking skills in the skilled category was 40%, while in the less and unskilled were 55% and 5% respectively. In each indicator, which are making assumptions is in the highly skilled criteria with 66%, making inductive thinking conclusions are in the skilled criteria with 84%, and interpreting information is in the unskilled criteria with 61%. The critical thinking skills of students in the 2020 chemistry education class are still in the unskilled category, this is due to the inhibiting factors, namely the online learning system and inappropriate learning methods
