Abstract

Setelah kewafatan Rasulullah SAW keadaan umat Islam semakin hari semakin tidak membaik mulai dari munculnya nabi palsu dan peperangan sesama umat Islam sendiri. Hal ini dipicu oleh kepentingan politik dari masing-masing pemerintahan. Termasuk yang menjadi salah satu contoh perpecahan umat Islam yaitu konfliknya Sayyidina Ali dengan Siti Aisyah dan Muawiyah dengan timbulnya perang siffin. Kemudian juga muncul peristiwa tahkim atau arbitrase. Dari sinilah golongan Sayyidina ali terpecah belah dan lahirlah golongan yang bernama khawarij. Selama ini Khawarij secara umum dikenal sebagai kelompok orang yang keluar dari barisan 'Ali Ibn Abutalib setelah peristiwa Tahkim (arbitrase). Pemahaman keagamaan mereka biasanya didasarkan pada teks, baik itu penafsiran kitab suci maupun pemahaman terhadap hadis Nabi. Dalam perkembangannya mereka juga mengembangkan standar-standar mengenai keabsahan hadis, seperti Sunni. Penelitian ini mencoba menganalisis perbedaan dan persamaan kriteria validitas hadis menurut Khawarij. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui lebih jauh apakah terdapat kontroversi dalam konsep pengukuran validitas hadis yang dikemukakan oleh Khawarij. Metode penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode penelitian kepustakaan atau studi kepustakaan yaitu pengumpulan data yang diperoleh dari buku, kitab, dan artikel. Penelitian ini memberikan hasil bahwa secara umum kriteria sahihnya hadis menurut Khawarij sama dengan kriteria sahihnya hadis menurut Sunni. Namun Khawarij dalam memahami sebuah hadis lebih tekstual dibandingkan kaum sunni yang juga memerankan akal untuk memahami sebuah hadis akibatnya buah hasil pemahaman hadis oleh golongan khawarij dinilai keliru atau menyimpang seperti contoh banyak hadis yang tertukar makna dan maksudnya antara hadis furu’iyyah dengan hadis mu’amalah. Namun bukan berarti setiap pemahaman aliran khawarij salah melainkan juga ada yang benar atau sesuai.

Abstract

Frank O Gehry adalah salah satu dari maestro arsitek yang menghasilkan karya arsitektur yang fenomenal pada era Postmodern. Sebagian besar karya arsitekturnya diyakini dirancang melalui intuisi dan pemikiran yang tidak dapat dijelaskan, seperti dalam “kotak hitam”. Namun demikian, pemikiran yang tidak jelas ini sering memicu lompatan kreativitas yang menghasilkan arsitektur yang luar biasa. Apakah pemikiran “kotak hitam” benar-benar tidak dapat dijelaskan?. Penelitian ini mencoba menjabarkan pemikiran “kotak hitam” dari Frank O Gehry. Teori Poetic Arhitecture (Arsitektur Puitis) yang ditulis oleh Antoniades (1995) digunakan untuk mengkaji saluran kreativitas Frank O Gehry. Dengan 12 (dua belas) kasus proyek arsitektur sebagai sampel, saluran kreativitas dari Frank O Gehry diterjemahkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa Teori Poetic Arhitecture (Arsitektur Puitis) dapat digunakan untuk menjelaskan aspek intuitif dari kreativitas desain. Teori ini dimungkinkan membuka "kotak hitam”" pemikiran proses desain sebagai metode pembelajaran desain yang akuntabel dalam pendidikan arsitektur

Abstract

An Android app called Cake is dedicated to teaching English. Another option for teaching speaking English is to use cake applications. Because this program is entirely free, there are a lot of benefits. It is not possible to practice speaking, reading, or even listening abilities with this application. The purpose of this study is to determine whether speaking skills of students in SMP Negeri 1Siniu class IX before and after using the cake application were significantly influenced. Quantitative research is used in this study. With a single group pre- and post-test designs, this research design is pre-experimental. This study was conducted in SMP Negeri 1 Siniu in June 2024. Abstract

Moral education is the fundamental basis for developing an individual's character, commencing within the immediate social context, specifically the family unit. The role of families in creating moral and ethical ideals that will serve as guiding principles for individuals in their daily lives is of the greatest significance. The absence of moral education contributes to the increasing rate of infidelity within current society. This article aims to highlight various factors influencing moral education within the family and explore their connection to the tendency to commit infidelity. This research uses an extensive literature review to collect data from various sources. Researchers analyzed research, books, and articles on moral education in the family and infidelity and looked for relevant findings. The results show that self-preservation morals play a crucial role in preventing infidelity. A case of infidelity behavior is frequently associated with a consistent pattern of moral values instilled by parents, whereby those who have been raised in an environment characterized by honesty, responsibility and love, tend to exhibit similar actions after getting married. A responsible person undertakes parental duties by demonstrating affection for his spouse, like he loves his mother or sister, thereby preventing infidelity.

Abstract

This study aimed to prove whether or not the use of Spotify can develop the listening comprehension of the tenth-grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Palu. The research design used in this study was a quasi-experimental design, and used a quantitative approach to analyze the data. The population of this study was the tenth-grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Palu. The researcher used purposive sampling and chose two groups: XD as the experimental group and XE as the control group, which each group consisted of 32 students. The instrument in collecting data was test (pre-test and post-test). The results of this study show that there is a significant difference in the increase in students' listening after being taught through the Spotify application. Data analysis shows that the tcounted (7,216) is higher than ttable (1,670) by applying a significance level of 0.05 with degrees of freedom (df) = 62. This means that the hypothesis is accepted. So, it can be said that Spotify can develop the students’ listening comprehension in learning English at SMA Negeri 2 Palu.

Abstract

Surgical wound infections are the second most common cause of nosocomial infections and have high morbidity and mortality rates. The use of antiseptic skin preparations is effective in preventing surgical wound infections. There is still insufficient evidence to evaluate the type, concentration and method of use of antiseptic agents for skin preparation in cesarean section. The aim of the study was to determine the effectiveness of skin preparation using chlorhexidine 7.5%, cetrimide 15%-povidone iodine 10% and povidone iodine 10%-alcohol 70% against Wound Infections for Caesarean Section Operations in RSUD Dr. Haryoto Lumajang. The research design used is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental approach, post test only-control group design. The population in this study were patients who underwent cesarean section at RSUD Dr. Haryoto Lumajangl. The sample was selected by accidental sampling from 27 February 2023 to 25 March 2023, and 66 respondents were found who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The samples were divided into 2 groups: the test group (33 samples) received a combination skin preparation of 7.5% chlorhexidine, setrimide 15% - 10% povidone iodine and the control group (33 samples) received a skin preparation combination of 10% povidone iodine - 70% alcohol . Observation of the surgical wound was carried out on day 3 and day 10. The results of this study indicated that there was no incidence of surgical wound infection on the third day. Surgical wound infections on the 10th day in the 7.5% chlorhexidine skin preparation group, setrimide 15% - 10% povidone iodine by 2 respondents and in the 10% povidone iodine skin preparation group - alcohol by 4 respondents. But statistically it was not significantly different from the value of p = 0.395, meaning that Ho was accepted and Ha was rejected, so there was no significant difference between skin preparation using chlorhexidine 7.5% setrimide 15% - 10% povidone iodine and 10% povidone iodine - 70% alcohol on the Incidence of Wound Infection by Caesarean Section at RSUD Dr. Haryoto Lumajang. With the difference in the incidence of surgical wound infection, it can be considered and an alternative for Dr. Haryoto Lumajang to use skin preparation using 7.5% chlorhexidine, 15% setrimide-10% povidone iodine Keywords: Surgical wound infection, skin preparation, chlorhexidine, povidone iodine, alcohol, cesarean section.

Abstract

This study aims to explore students' perceptions of using YouTube videos as a medium for learning English, focusing on its impact on learning motivation. The research employs descriptive qualitative methods to analyze YouTube videos as a learning tool. Data were collected through structured and open-ended interviews with 20 ninth-grade students at SMP N 3 Sindue Tobata and questionnaires. The findings indicate that most students are motivated to learn English through YouTube videos. A total of 70% of students agreed that YouTube increased their confidence in using English in daily conversations, while 25% agreed that the ease of accessing English learning materials on YouTube encouraged them to study more frequently. All students agreed that YouTube helps improve their vocabulary and pronunciation and significantly boosts their motivation to learn English through engaging and educational content. However, challenges such as distractions and reliance on stable internet access highlight the need for a structured approach to integrating YouTube into learning. The study concludes that students have a positive perception of YouTube videos as an effective tool to enhance their motivation and English skills.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning by using Contextual Teaching and Learning Approach. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were high school students. The data for this study were obtained by test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure learning outcomes and observations are used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that Contextual Teaching and Learning Approach can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completion in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 48.71%, the first cycle 66.39% and in the second cycle it increased to 89.66%. Thus, the use of Contextual Teaching and Learning Approach can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning.

Abstract

Listening ability is a skill that focuses on receiving, understanding and identifying a sound that includes several components of the language in this case specialized in English. Digital storytelling is the media that combine between audio and visual in story form. The purpose of this study is to prove whether or not there is an improvement in students' listening skills by using digital storytelling. This research used quasi-experimental. The population of this research was all of eight grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Banawa. The sample was 24 students from class D in experimental class and 24 students from class E in control class. After collecting data and conducting simple statistical analysis, it was found that the mean score of the experimental class (26.25) was higher than the control class (22.5). Then after applying a significant level of 0.5, it was found that the t-count (1.84) was higher than the t-table (1.68). It means the hypothesis is accepted. In conclusion, digital storytelling can improve the listening skills of the eighth grade students.

Abstract

The objective of the study is to find out the effectiveness of the English movie in teaching English speaking to grade seven students of SMPN 1 Mepanga in the academic year 2024/2025. The sample of this pre-experimental research was grading seven students of SMPN 1 Mepanga which consisted of 28 students of the VII D class chosen by using the purposive sampling technique. The data were collected by using a speaking test conducted before and after the treatment, or pre-test and post-test. The data was analyzed by using statistics methods. The result shows that there was a significant improvement in the student’s speaking ability. It was proved by the result of the t-counted (19.13) which was greater than the t-table (1.703) in the significance degree, (0.05). The conclusion of this research indicated that the English movie is effective in teaching English speaking in the classroom and provides a significant effect to improve the students’ speaking ability.
