Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of the development of a web-based Academic Information System at SMK Negeri 3 Bone and the results of testing based on ISO 25010 quality standards. This research uses prototype development model. Data collection techniques using interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. System testing uses the ISO 25010 quality standard which focuses on testing functional suitability, reliability, performance efficiency, usability, portability, security, maintainability, and compatibility. As for the results of testing the system using the ISO 25010 quality standard, namely in the functional suitability test with good criteria, in the reliability test, it was stated that the system met the reliability aspect, in the performance efficiency test the results obtained for the GTMetrix class obtained B score with a performance of 84% structure of 94% and a load time of 2.2 seconds, in the usability test the percentage results are 90.98% in the very feasible category, in the portability test the results can run well on different devices and browsers, testing on the security aspect shows the system's resistance to malware and blacklisting websites has a medium risk so that this information system is safe to access. The website-based academic information system has fulfilled the maintainability aspect, and in testing the compatibility aspect it is stated that the academic information system has fulfilled the compatibility aspect.

Abstract

Direktorat Jenderal Bea dan cukai dalam memproses memasukkan datadata barang impor ternyata masih menggunakan cara manual yaitu menggunakan aplikasi microsoft excel. Hal ini memperlambat proses pemeriksaannya, karena proses impor barang diperiksa oleh bea dan cukai, jika barang yang masuk merupakan barang yang tidak resmi, maka kantor tersebut tidak akan melanjutkan proses pengiriman barang tersebut. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, maka dirancang sistem informasi pemeriksaan barang impor pada kantor bea dan cukai wilayah medan berbasis web yang dapat memberikan kemudahan dalam mengelola dan mendapatkan informasi untuk membantu dalam proses kerja perusahaan. Hasil dari sistem yang dirancang dapat mempermudah dalam mengelola data pada pemeriksaan barang impor pada kantor bea dan cukai

Abstract

This study uses the design method with a prototype research model. This is motivated by the fact that Indonesia is prone to natural disasters, so preparing for an effective and efficient disaster emergency response process is necessary. The resulting innovation is an intelligent rescue box prototype product integrated with an information system as a disaster emergency response solution, especially in meeting the basic emergency needs of post-disaster refugees. The effect will consist of two, and the first is the Smart rescue box (SRB), which provides the emergency needs of evacuees in one package to meet the electricity needs of refugees. There is a solar tracker system with real-time clock (RTC) data that is set as if it can follow the direction of the sun's movement for maximum absorption of sunlight. The second product is the SRB information system which is a disaster information system consisting of several useful features and a disaster education menu that can provide insights regarding disasters and disaster information that can be accessed easily. The measurement and observation test results show that the product has worked as expected, so it is feasible. The resulting product is still in the form of a prototype so that suggestions for further research can be further developed in terms of features and technology to become a complete product to facilitate the disaster emergency response process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the practicality and effectiveness of android-based sign language recognition learning media applications as an alternative to learning media in extraordinary schools (SLB). This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with the Concurrent Triangulation design combination method.The subjects of the study were 20 sign language teachers from three SLB schools in the cities of Makassar and Gowa as well as application users who assessed the practicality and effectiveness of the learning media applications that they would teach to deaf students. The data collection technique consists of observation, interviews, literature studies and the distribution of questionnaires/questionnaires. Meanwhile, the instruments used include observation sheets, interview sheets and questionnaire/questionnaire sheets. There are 10 criteria data components to assess the practicality of learning media applications and 15 criteria data components to assess the effectiveness of learning media applications. The results showed that the level of practicality of learning media was 3.65 while the effectiveness level of learning media was 3.41. By using the Likert scale, it can be concluded that android-based sign language recognition learning media applications are very practical and very effective for teachers to use as an alternative to sign language recognition learning media in SLB.

Abstract

Telehealth has developed as an alternative to cover healthcare in all regions. Telehealth technology cannot be separated from Information and Communication Technology (ICT) that has been infiltrated to human activities nowadays. Internet and mobile phone technologies in Indonesia have become new major needs. Indonesian Government and some institutions have tried to use these technologies in healthcare services in some remote areas. However, some obstacles have been found in the implementation of the technologies such as inadequate ICT infrastructure and lack of policies about healthcare for remote areas. The study was conducted to obtain the recent status of the telehealth in Indonesia to develop a simple and proper mobile application.  A literature study was conducted by collecting relevant information such as reports, regulations and policies released by the Indonesia Government regarding the healthcare infrastructures and latest technology used for telehealth. In addition, updated information from various institutions was also collected. The study reveals that there has been a gradual increase in the number of healthcare infrastructures in some remote areas in Indonesia. The number of ICT infrastructures is also expected to increase every year to facilitate communities in remote areas to be connected with others. Therefore, a mobile model of telehealth using text message services would be designed as a development model based on previous models that have been designed by some researchers.

Abstract

Generation Z, as digital natives, possesses a strong attachment to social media, which serves not only as a space for communication and entertainment but also as a medium for developing competencies. This article explores the collaboration between Generation Z and social media in efforts to enhance their skills in the digital era. Using a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews and literature analysis, this study finds that social media plays a crucial role in building competencies such as digital literacy, visual communication, creative marketing, and entrepreneurship. Platforms such as LinkedIn, TikTok, and Instagram have become key channels for self-directed learning, professional networking, and global collaboration. However, this article also identifies significant challenges, including the risk of distraction, consumption of irrelevant content, and the lack of guidance in using social media productively. Based on expert interviews, the study reveals the need for a strategic approach that involves digital literacy education and active supervision from educational institutions and families to optimize the potential of social media. This research contributes to the literature on technology and education by highlighting how Generation Z can effectively utilize social media for personal development and future professionalism.

Abstract

Bronkitis (paru-paru basah) adalah penyakit pernafasan dimana lapisan di paru-paru meradang. Selaput lendir yang meradang, menebal, membengkak, dan menyempit, sehingga menutup saluran udara kecil di paru-paru menyebabkan batuk berdahak dan sesak napas. Penyakit Bronkitis sekiranya diderita oleh 64 juta orang didunia. Karena penggunaan tembakau, polusi udara didalam dan diluar ruangan yang kotor, debu,serta bahan kimia adalah factor resiko utama penyakit Bronkitis. Adapun penyebab penyakit Bronkitis disebabkan karena adanya lendir yang mungkin menyertai infeksi saluran pernafasan atas. Infeksi paling sering disebabkan oleh virus, tetapi juga bisa disebabkan oleh bakteri. Keadaan ini yang mendorong sangat dibutuhkan informasi yang tepat dan mudah bagi masyarakat untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan seputar Bronkitis beserta penanganannya, dengan mengembangkan suatu Artificial Intelligence yaitu sistem pakar berbasis Web menggunakan metode Dempster Shafer. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu dapat mempermudah masyarakat dalam melakukan analisis jenis penyakit Bronkitis dan dapat dijadikan layanan untuk membantu dalam mendiagnosa penyakit Bronkitis sehingga masyarakat tidak salah dalam proses penanganan dan dapat meminimalisir efek yang ditimbulkan Bronkitis.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Virtual Reality (VR)-based virtual laboratory facilities and infrastructure on students' competencies in the Department of Electronic Engineering Education at the Faculty of Engineering, Makassar State University. With the increasing integration of digital technology in education, virtual laboratories have become pivotal in enhancing students' technical and conceptual understanding, especially in technical fields such as electronics. The research employs a quantitative survey method, distributing questionnaires to 31 students. Data analysis includes descriptive and inferential statistics, including regression analysis to examine the relationship between the adequacy of virtual laboratory facilities, student motivation, and their academic competencies. The results reveal a significant positive influence of the sufficiency of virtual laboratory infrastructure and student motivation on their competencies. Specifically, the study finds that improvements in the adequacy of virtual laboratories contribute to a notable improvement in students' practical and conceptual skills. Moreover, higher student motivation correlates with better academic performance. This research underscores the importance of upgrading virtual laboratory facilities and fostering student engagement to maximize learning outcomes in technical education.

Abstract

UMKM Tahu Sumedang Putri Deli merupakan salah satu pelaku industri rumahan di Desa Lau Mulgap, Kecamatan Namorambe, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, yang bergerak dalam produksi tahu tradisional. Namun, metode penjualan yang konvensional dan kurangnya identitas merek (branding) serta desain kemasan yang menarik menjadi tantangan dalam memperluas pasar dan meningkatkan nilai jual produk. Program ini bertujuan untuk mentransformasi metode penjualan melalui penguatan branding dan pengembangan desain kemasan yang lebih modern dan menarik. Pendekatan yang digunakan meliputi pendampingan desain identitas visual (logo dan label produk), pembuatan kemasan yang higienis dan estetis, serta pelatihan strategi pemasaran digital yang sesuai dengan karakteristik UMKM. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan minat konsumen terhadap produk setelah dilakukan pembaruan kemasan dan branding, serta mulai tumbuhnya kesadaran pelaku UMKM terhadap pentingnya citra merek dalam membangun loyalitas pelanggan. Transformasi ini menjadi langkah strategis dalam mendukung keberlanjutan dan daya saing UMKM tahu di era pasar digital saat ini.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to design and develop an IoT-based robotics trainer media for vocational high schools (SMK) using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4D development model (Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination). In the Define stage, a needs analysis is conducted to determine relevant learning materials. The Design stage involves designing the trainer media, IoT web platform, and Student Worksheets (LKPD). During the Development stage, validation tests, practicality tests, and effectiveness tests are conducted, resulting in media that are valid, practical, and effective. The validation results indicate that the media have a very high validity level with an average percentage of 96.03%, covering aspects such as application/device, appearance, content, language, and presentation. Trials at various stages also yielded high scores, with an average score above 80%. The test results show that the media are highly practical and effective, with a gain value of 0.75, categorized as high, indicating an improvement in students' understanding. Overall, this learning media is relevant, easy to use, engaging, and effective in supporting IoT-based robotics learning.
