Abstract

The purpose of this reseach is to analyze the influence of using extract mangosteen skin 5, 10, 15 cc to the quality of  shape, colour, texture, smell and taste from the cupcake and to find out the difference of influence from the use of skin extract 5, 10, 15 cc to the quality of  cupcake.This research is pure experiment research, the source of data in this research are 20 panelist who gave the answerrs from organoleptik test format. Data analysis has been done with data descriptive way. Then the collected research data will be analyzed using variant analysis (ANAVA) and continued with interpretation about the result of research data.Based on data analysis, it is proved that there is a significant influence in the quality of cupcake shape with  Fcount (49.537)  > Ftabel (2,72) that means there is the difference of significant influence. Quality color gained by Fcount (62.142)  < Ftabel (2,72) that means no significant influence towards the quality of color. Elastic Quality gained by Fcount (135.014) > Ftabel (2,72) which means there are significant influence towards the elastic texture qualiti of cupcake Keywords: kue mangkok, leather, ekstrak kulit manggis.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the tourism products in Padang beach which is seen from the four elements of the tourist attraction, food and beverage services, souvenir services, amusement and recreational services. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques by using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. These results indicate that the tourism products in Padang not managed properly, results showed that the analysis of tourism products in Padang beach can be described from the indicators, are: 1) tourist attraction, in terms of beauty is good enough but not all neatly arranged only partially and the persistence of the garbage that littered the roadside, uniqueness in the beach of Padang are monuments IORA and maelo pukek that can be called with catching the fish and any culture values embodied in Padang beach but very minimal only theater in the cultural park 2) eating and drinking services, in terms of the price of lack of standardization of food prices, any menu variations, the cleanliness of the food is not very clean because of its location in a side street 3) services souvenirs unfound of locations that sell souvenirs coast of Padang. 4) amusement and recreational services, games duck water and dragon boat, but the water is dirty and there is rubbish strewn and entertainment arts festival held in the department of tourism and for children's games used to be in Muaro restless but now extinct, and there are games vw cycle but he rental price does not correspond with the facility, and other types of recreational sports but that is not well-organized.Keywords: Travel Products, Padang Beach

Abstract

This research is motivated young people in the city of Padang whogenerally prefer food in fast food restaurants that have differences in thepopularity of several types of fast food restaurants. Teens tend to prefer fast foodrestaurants although had to queue to order food and expensive prices. This studywas to describe the brand image of fast food restaurants for teenagers in the cityof Padang. This research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this studywere young in Padang amounted to 37 591. The sample in this study amounted to99 respondents. The sampling technique acquired through non-probabilitysampling method with purposive sampling. Deploy data collection techniquesbased on Likert Scale questionnaire. Data analysis covers: validity and reliability.Overall brand image of fast food restaurants in the average score of 140.71 in therange of 125 - <148 with image indicators is well. Be based category average of59.54 manufacturers currently on the score 53 - <63 in both categories, theindicator average consumer image 47.84 in the range be at the score> 50 withvery good category, the indicator image of the product at an average of 33.34 wasthe score 31 - <37 with both categories.Keywords: Brand Image, restaurant, Teens

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the relationship between promotion with purchasing decisions guestrooms at Hotel Bumiminang Padang. The population in this study is the guests who have stayed with the monthly average is 998 people. The number of samples in this study amounted to 91 people. The data collection techniques with indirect communication through a questionnaire ( questionnaire ) by using a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that: (1) Promotions that are in good enough category with an average score of 50.29, (2) Purchase Decision Guestrooms in the category quite well with an average score of 52.37, (3) Results of Person Product Moment Correlation test showed that there is a relationship positive (strong) and significant correlation between promotion with purchasing decisions are assessed by guests who have stayed in Bumiminang Padang, with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.509 (sig 0.000) with a strong category because it is in the range > 0.5-0.75.

Abstract

This research arouse from the observation of the researcher when visiting the Object of the Pilgrimage tourist object of the Tomb of Syech Burhanuddin in Padang Pariaman District, that the unknown attraction, narrow accessibility, inadequate existing facilities of tourism and tourism activities contained in the tourist attraction of the Tomb of Syech Burhanuddin. This research is purposedto analyze how the potential of the grave of Syech Burhanuddin as a pilgrimage tourism object in Padang Pariaman Regency which seen from four potential indicators, namely attraction, accessibility, amenities, and activity. This research type is descriptive research with quantitative and qualitative method (mix metdhod). Data collection technique is done by using interview method, observation, documentation, and questionnaire. In this research using Purposive Sampling. Data collection techniques were conducted by interviewing the managers and distributing questionnaires using Guttman scale that has been tested for its validity and reliability.The results of this study found that the overall potential of the Tomb of Syech Burhanuddin as a Pilgrimage Tourism Object In Padang Pariaman District seen from four potential indicators of attraction, accessibility, amenitas, and activity. According to tourists 65.75% are tourist attractions are quite good, 68.75% accessibility is good enough, 44% amenitas not good, and 77% good enough activity.Keywords: Potential, Tourist Attraction

Abstract

This study is aims to: 1) determine leadership of GM, 2) determine behavior employee, 3) analyze relationship between GM leadership with employee’s behavior at Hotel Bumiminang Padang. This research with correlational system. Population in this research amounted to 83 people. With samples 83 people with non-probability sampling technique, the sampling using saturated. Data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed by descriptive analysis or correlation. The results showed GM's leadership in a good category (78.31%). Behavior of employees in a good category (83.13%). Results of correlation test there is a significant connection between leadership of GM with working behavior with correlation value 0.261 and 0.017 significance and interpretation of weak values Keywords: Behavior, Performance, Work, Employee

Abstract

The purpose of research is to see how big influence of the price (x1) andquality of the food (x2) to the purchase decisions of the students in the cafeteria FTUNP. The sample of the in this research were 100 people taken using thetechnique of sampling purposive. The data collection was done with thequestionare using scale likert that they are highly capable validity an reability.The research result indicates that:(1)The price of food in the cafeteria FT UNPbelongs in the category of less well with values percentage 50%. (2) The qualityof the food in the cafeteria FT UNP pertained less well with values percentage of53%.(3) The purchasing decision in the cafeteria FT UNP belongs in the categoryof good with values percentage 63%.(4) The prices and food quality togetherpositive and significant effect against the purchasing decision of the student in thecafeteria FT UNP, indicated by the significant value (0.00 < 0.05) and influentialcontribution amounting to 30.9%, while the rest of the other variable specified isnot examined.Keywords: Price, Food Quality, Purchase Decision

Abstract

This study aimed to 1) analyze the quality of service waiter/waitress in D‟Cafe Restaurant Hotel Axana Padang, 2) analyze guest satisfaction with service waiter/waitress in D‟Cafe Restaurant Hotel Axana Padang, 3) analyze the influence of the quality of service waiter/waitress to guest satisfaction D‟Cafe Restaurant Hotel Axana Padang. This study uses causal associative, variable inthis study is the quality of service waiter/waitress (X) and guest satisfaction (Y). The sampling technique used is incidental sampling. The number of 91 people, collecting data used were questionnaires. Quality of service waiter/waitress percentage of 42% is in the range score of 36-<44 with enough category and guest satisfaction percentage of 41% is in the range score of 36-<44 with enough category. Test hypothesis Simple linear regression FCount with sig 0,000 <0,05 then there is significant influence between quality of service waiter/waitress (X) to guest satisfaction (Y) as big 74% and 26% of other factors. Abstract

The purpose of research is to determine the level of importance and the implementation of tourist facilities for tourists through the method of Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) in Ketaping Beach Attraction of Padang Pariaman regency. This research consists of 3 indicators of tourism facilities, namely: basic tourism facilities, complementary tourism facilities, tourism support facilities. The type of this research is quantitative descriptive research with survey method. The population in this study are all tourists who visit Ketaping Beach tourist attraction with large population and the number is not known for sure. Sampling technique is non probability sampling, by using incidental sampling. The number of samples in this study amounted to 97 tourists. Data collection using questionnaires based on Likert Scale that has been tested for its validity and reliability. Based on the research result, it is concluded that in general the level of importance and the implementation of tourism facilities for tourists through the method of Importance Performance Analysis of 45.45% of tourists stated that tourism is important and needs to be provided and maintained in the form of hotels and other accommodation, tourist attractions, restaurants, toilets and mushalla.Keywords: Level of Interest, Implementation, Importance Performance Analysis, Ketaping Beach1Prodi D4
