Abstract

Candied fruit is one of the processed foods which favored by many people. One of the sweets agro-industry that exists in Pesucen, Kalipuro, Banyuwangi is Rezeki Moro agro-industry. This study aimed to find out: 1) the stock level of raw materials of candid fruit in Rezeki Moro agro-industry, 2) the optimal time to reorder raw materials, and 3) the amount of added value of fruit after being processed into candied fruit. The data analysis used was the analysis of raw materials availability using EOQ and ROP methods and value-added. The result of the study showed that  the need for raw material such as nutmeg was 30 kilograms, while the number of economical orders with the EOQ method was 73 kilograms. The need for tamarind was 25 kilograms, while the number of economical orders with the EOQ method was 32 kilograms, also the need for ceremai (Phyllantus acidus) was 50 kilograms while the number of economical orders with the EOQ method was 60 kilograms. The level of reordering of raw materials from all sweets product in Rezeki Moro agro-industry was efficient since the ROP point was smaller than the EOQ point. The processing of candied nutmeg provided an added value of Rp. 9,848.00 (39.39%). The added value of processing candied tamarind is Rp. 17,468.00 (46%). Furthermore, the processing of candied ceremai has added value Rp. 12,548.00 with a value-added ratio of 43.5%.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the coffee farmers’ group dynamics and the coaching partern of coffee farmers. The research area was determined purposively. Determination of research respondents was carried out by snowball sampling with a total of 54 respondents. The research was conducted descriptively. Indicators of farmer group dynamics including farmer group objectives, task functions, group coaching and development, group unity, group atmosphere, group pressure, group effectiveness, and hidden intentions. The results showed that 56.5% of respondent understood the group's objectives, 60% of respondent replied that there was a clear division of tasks in the coffee farmer groups. The selection of administrators in the group structure is based on aggrement among member group. 70.2% of respondent farmers said that groups provide information about group activities. 77.7% of respondents said that groups invite and involve their members to participate in group activities based on the abilities and skills of the members. 80.2% of respondents said that the group has a strong sense of unity. 60% of farmers feel that the conflict and pressure that occurs in the group does not disturb the atmosphere within the group because it has been managed well. 58.6% of farmers think that there is no conflict and internal competition among members of the group. 69.1% of respondents think that the goals in the group are easy to understand. Abstract

Forest management carried out by the Panti District community in collaboration with Perhutani is regulated through an agroforestrybased Social Forestry program. This study focuses on the role and contribution of stakeholders to the agroforestry program, the household income of agroforestry farmers and the contribution of the household income of agroforestry and non-agroforestry farmers. The research method uses analytical descriptive. The sampling method used purposive sampling and incidental sampling. The data collection method used primary and secondary data. The data analysis tool uses quantitative description, income analysis and analysis of household income contribution of agroforestry farmers. The results showed that: (1) LMDH Rengganis acts as a policy creator, coordinator, facilitator, and implementer. Perhutani has a role as coordinator, facilitator and accelerator. KLHK acts as a policy creator. SDInpres and Bank BRI have a role as a facilitator. Community Empowerment Team (TPM) as facilitator and accelerator. Cabang Dinas Kehutanan (CDK) Wilayah Jember as facilitator, coordinator and accelerator. Village government as coordinator; (2) The average income of agroforestry is Rp. 24,673,333/year and is classified as profitable; (3) The contribution of agroforestry to LMDH Rengganis farmers in Pakis Village, Panti Subdistrict is categorized as high with a percentage of 84%.. Abstract

Saat ini, permintaan pasar akan komoditas jamur kian meningkat. Peningkatan tersebut akan mendorong peningkatan dan inovasi dalam penggunaan media pertumbuhan komoditas jamur yang berasal dari limbah tanaman semusim maupun tahunan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui teknik budidaya (media, bibit, pemeliharaan dan pasca panen) komoditas jamur dan teknologi inovasi pemanfaatan berbagai limbah tanaman sebagai media tanam. Metode analisis yang digunakan meliputi deskriptif, dan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Jenis jamur yang digunakan jamur tiram putih (Pleorotus Ostre atus). Media tanam jamur menggunakan serbuk gergaji, jerami, alang-alang, kulit kopi diaplikasikan dengan jenis pupuk cair yang terdiri dari kontrol, pupuk Excelent, pupuk Strong, dan pupuk Amino Age. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah nilai rata-rata hasil pemanfaatan berbagai limbah tanaman dengan tingkat produktivitas dan produksi komoditas jamur terbaik adalah waktu panen dalam interaksi kopi + kulit aminoase selama 21 hari; jumlah buah dalam serbuk gergaji + pupuk kuat sebanyak 102.4; berat buah dengan media serbuk gergaji sebesar 1,019.4 gr; ukuran buah dalam penambahan perlakuan pupuk strong adalah 15.976 cm.

Abstract

Carrots are widely cultivated by the people of Kandangtepus Village and become their main livelihood. This study aims to determine the characteristics, income, and factors that affect the income of carrot farming in Kandangtepus Village. The research method uses descriptive and analytical methods. The sampling method used quota sampling and snowball sampling. Methods of data collection using interviews and document studies. The data analysis method used descriptive analysis, income analysis, and multiple linear regression. The results showed the characteristics of the business; namely, most of them used privately owned land, capital from personal savings and loans from collectors, inputs that were easily obtained, labor achieved, implementation of carrot cultivation in accordance with the recommendations, yields sold to collectors, and carrot farming. Get support from farmer groups. Carrot farming with two cropping patterns is equally profitable, but carrot farming using an intercropping pattern will produce less than optimal carrot production. Factors that have a significant influence on the income of carrot farming are selling price, production amount, seed cost, fertilizer cost, and labor cost.

Abstract

The power of packaging design greatly influences purchasing decisions because unique packaging designs appeal to consumers. In general, the purpose of this activity is to provide training on the importance of coffee product packaging for the sustainability of the Ketatasi Fruit KSU business unit so that it can compete with similar products produced by different companies, with specific objectives: (1) To increase the management's understanding of Ketatasi Fruit KSU's role in packaging in the KSU Ketatasi Fruit ground coffee business; (2) To increase the knowledge of KSU Buah Kettasi managers about the functions, types, and uses of KSU Ketatasi ground coffee product packaging; and (3) To introduce tips on choosing packaging for ground coffee products at KSU Buah Ketaka. Results of the activities (1) The purpose of packaging is to maintain the aroma and taste of ground coffee both when distributed to consumers and when sold in shops, both in traditional markets and supermarkets. Same as long as the user is holding it. If the coffee is not packaged properly, the freshness, smell, and taste of the ground coffee will suffer after a week or two. The durability of ground coffee during packaging is influenced by several factors, namely storage conditions (ambient temperature), degree of roasting, ground coffee moisture content, fineness of the powder, and oxygen content of the packaging. (2) Good packaging materials should have the following characteristics: low water vapor permeability, low oxygen permeability, low aroma and odor permeability, carbon dioxide gas permeability, good oil resistance, etc., good scratch and tear resistance, and be easy and cheap to get.

Abstract

Many factors must be considered in coffee production processes. Use of factors of production must also be efficient in order to produce maximum production.This research was conducted in Panti Sub-district, Jember, as one of larger coffee producer in Jember. This location was also one area in Jember cultivated with Arabica coffee since 2012. Therefore, this study aimed to determine production factors in Arabica coffee smallholders; particularly technical and economic efficiency of Arabica coffee smallholders. Research method including interview and secondary data collection was carried out in three farmer groups in Panti Sub-district. Samples included 36 farmers from Surya Tani, Sejahtera Bersama and Taman Putri farmer groups. Analytical methods used were Cobb Douglass as a function of Stochastic Frontier to see the technical efficiency of farming and analysis of economic the selected efficiency with pricing approach. Technical efficiency in Arabica coffee farming in the selected locations were considered efficient in the level of 71.4% with aminimum of technical efficiency of 24.9% and a maximum efficiency of 93.4%. Economic efficiency showed that factors of labor and use of organic fertilizers were not efficient, thus there should be a reduction in use of labor and organic fertilizers. The factors indicated also that use of inorganic fertilizers was not efficient, with economic efficiency value (NPM/Px) of 1.579. The conditions indicate that there is a need to use of inorganic fertilizers to be an economically efficient manner.

Abstract

Wilayah pesisir dan lautan merupakan salah satu sumberdaya alam yang mempunyai sifat kompleks, dinamis, dan unik karena pengaruh dari dua ekosistem, yaitu ekosistem lautan dan daratan. Di lain pihak wilayah pesisir merupakan wilayah tempat berbagai kegiatan sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, perlu upaya meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat pesisir melalui pengembangan industri kreatif yang berasal dari pemanfaatan kreativitas, ketrampilan serta bakat individu untuk menciptakan kesejahteraan serta lapangan pekerjaan dengan menghasilkan dan memberdayakan daya kreasi dan daya cipta individu tersebut. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui model pengembangan dan strategi pengembangan industri kreatif di wilayah pesisir pantai di Kabupaten Sumenep. Penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Sumenep. Metode yang dipergunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan analitik. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang diperoleh dengan melakukan wawancara langsung dan FGD dan data sekunder. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, analisis pendapatan, Force Field Analysis (FFA) dan Analisis Hierarki Process (AHP). Hasil yang diperoleh adalah karakteristik sosial ekonomi, pendapatan dan model pengembangan industri kreatif di wilayah pesisir pantai di Kabupaten Sumenep. Produk yang perlu dikembangkan yaitu petis, abon ikan tuna, baso ikan dan kerajinan kerang Hasil FFA diperoleh Faktor Kunci Keberhasilan (FKK) pendorong dengan nilai urgensi sebesar 1,15 yaitu pesisir bagian utara di dominasi produk olahan basah dan bagian selatan produk kering dan FKK penghambat dengan nilai urgensi sebesar 2,77 yaitu para pelaku industri kreatif cenderung individual dalam mengembangkan usahanya.Kata Kunci : Industri, Kreatif, Pesisir, Model

Abstract

Subsektor hortikultura merupakan salah satu subsektor yang penting di Indonesia. Berdasarkan BPS (2021), tanaman hortikultura menjadi salah satu kontributor terbesar pada pendapatan nasional khususnya di sektor pertanian setelah perkebunan. Cabai merah besar (Capsium annum L.) merupakan komoditas hortikultura dengan produksi tertinggi dan terus dibudidayakan di berbagai wilayah Indonesia yang memiliki nilai jual tinggi. Mulsa plastik hitam perak pada usahatani cabai merah besar digunakan sebagai alternatif meningkatkan produksi. Analisis ini digunakan untuk mengetahui besar keuntungan serta kelayakan usahatani untuk terus dijalankan. Manfaat lainnya yaitu untuk mengetahui komponen biaya yang masih dapat ditekan untuk mengurangi biaya produksi tanpa mengurangi hasil atau jumlah produksi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada Binamitra Usahatani Hortikultura Multiagro Makmur yang berlokasi di Dusun Cangkring Baru, Desa Cangkring, Kecamatan Jenggawah, Kabupaten Jember. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi kegiatan observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Analisis dilakukan dengan melakukan perhitungan B/C serta R/C Ratio. Hasil analisis yang diperoleh menunjukkan usahatani yang dilakukan pada petani cabai merah besar mitra bersifat menguntungkan dan layak untuk dijalankan.

Abstract

Perkembangan jumlah UMKM di Desa Jatimulyo Kecamatan Jenggawah Kabupaten Jember dari tahun ke tahun semakin bertambah. Kebanyakan UMKM di Desa Jatimulyo yaitu lebih mengarah pada bidang makanan maupun minuman. Contoh UMKM yang ada diantaranya yaitu usaha catering, jamu tradisional, pengrajin tempe, kerupuk kedelai, rengginang, keripik usus, keripik singkong, susu kedelai, kerupuk pentol dan masih banyak produk-produk lainnya. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya, masih terdapat beberapa kendala yang pada umumnya dihadapi oleh pelaku UMKM. Tujuan kegiatan diantaranya : (1) Memberikan wawasan pengetahuan bagi pelaku usaha dalam Etika Bisnis.; (2) Memberikan pengetahuan bagi pelaku usaha tentang pentingnya pencatatan transaksi keuangan melalui manjemen keuangan sederhana; dan (3) Meningkatkan daya saing produk melalui publikasi web untuk mempermudah pemasaran. Kegiatan pendampingan dilakukan di Desa Jatimulyo Kecamatan Jenggawah Kabupaten Jember selama 3 bulan dimulai pada bulan Oktober sampai Desember tahun 2021. Metode pelaksanaan yaitu diawali dengan adanya survey dan sosialisasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Melalui pendampingan Satu Desa Satu Dosen (SDSD) dapat memberikan output bagi Desa Jatimulyo Kecamatan Jenggawah Kabupaten Jember yaitu berupa website UMKM yaitu https://umkmjatimulyo.wixsite.com/umkmdesajatimulyo.
