Abstract

Cassava is one of the largest starch producing tuber crops in Indonesia. Tapioca from cassava starch can be used as a raw materials for a variety of foods including biscuits, instant porridge, meatball, sausage, nuggets, and flour condiment. Breeding programs to improve cassava yield and starch content by using mutagen gamma rays irradiation was tested in four cassava generations (M1V4). Cassava is propagated by stem cuttings and the new characteristic obtained from gamma irradiation mutation is stable and can be passed from one generation to the next. Cassava mutants were obtained by evaluating the performance in different environmental conditions. The testing of yield adaptability and stability through a series of multi location is an important step before a new variety can be released. The aim of this research was to compare nonparametric stability and to evaluate the stability of the starch content of 16 genotypes (14 mutants and 2 varieties) in three locations in West Java Province i.e. Tapos (Depok), Cikarawang (Bogor), and Ciseeng (Bogor). Experiments were conducted in a completely randomized block design with three replications nested in each environment. Testing of yield stability in this study used four approaches with 10 parameters of nonparametric method. Starch content was estimated using gravimetric method. Based on frequency stability ranking of starch content from gravimetric method the G63142 genotype had the highest starch content estimation (29.99%), and the top five genotypes with high starch content were G63142, G61142, “Manggu”, G62151, and G63124. G61142 was categorized as genotype with static and dynamic stability, therefore this genotype is a very potential mutant to be released, whereas G63124 is categorized as a genotype with a static stability. Genotypes G63142, G62151, and “Manggu” had variable but relatively high starch content.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPerbanyakan tebu umumnya dilakukan secara vegetatif mengguna- kan setek. Teknik ini mempunyai keterbatasan memproduksi jumlah bibit dalam skala besar. Dalam rangka mendukung peningkatan produktivitas, maka perlu pemenuhan bibit tebu dalam skala besar. Kultur jaringan merupakan   teknologi   alternatif   yang   dapat   dikembangkan   untuk pemenuhan bibit dalam jumlah yang banyak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan formulasi media terbaik untuk induksi kalus dan regenerasi tebu varietas Kidang Kencana dan PSJT 941. Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Unit Pengelola Benih Unggul Pertanian, Pusat Penelitian dan  Pengembangan  Perkebunan,  Bogor  dari  bulan  Februari  sampai September 2012. Penelitian terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu induksi kalus, regenerasi tunas dan perakaran, serta aklimatisasi. Bahan tanaman tebu yang digunakan adalah daun muda varietas Kidang Kencana dan PSJT 941 yang masih menggulung. Empat formulasi media digunakan pada tahap induksi kalus. Sementara itu, pada tahap regenerasi tunas dan perakaran menggunakan tujuh formulasi media. Aklimatisasi menggunakan media tanah steril dan kompos (2:1). Percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap yang disusun secara faktorial, terdiri atas dua faktor dan diulang sepuluh kali. Faktor pertama adalah varietas dan kedua adalah formulasi media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media induksi kalus terbaik untuk varietas  Kidang  Kencana  adalah 2,4-D 9 µM  +  Picloram  4,5  µM, sedangkan PSJT 941 adalah 2,4-D 13,5 µM. Media regenerasi dapat digunakan untuk menginduksi tunas sekaligus perakaran. Media regenerasi terbaik varietas Kidang Kencana dan PSJT 941 adalah IBA 2,46 µM + BAP 1,33 µM. Kedua varietas dapat diaklimatisasi di rumah kaca dengan tingkat keberhasilan tinggi (80-100%).Kata kunci: Saccharum officinarum, tebu, kultur jaringan, organogenesis,                 perbanyakan Callus Induction and Plant Regeneration of Two Sugarcane Varieties (Saccharum officinarum L.) through In VitroABSTRACTGenerally, sugarcane propagation was done by vegetative cuttings. The technique had limitation of producing seeds in a large scale. In order to increase productivity of sugarcane, it is required to provide sugarcane seeds in large scale. Tissue culture is an alternative technique that can be developed to provide the seeds. The objective of this research was toobtain the best formulations for callus induction and regeneration of Kidang Kencana and PSJT 941 varieties. The study was conducted in the Laboratory of Superior Farm Seeds Management Unit, Indonesian Agency for Agricultural Research and Development, Bogor from February until September 2012. The researches were carried out in three steps, name lycallus induction, regeneration of shoots and roots, and acclimatization. Explant  material  used  was  young  rolled  leaves  collected  from  two sugarcane  varieties (Kidang  Kencana  and  PSJT 941).  Four  media formulations used for callus induction, while seven media formulations used for shoots and roots regeneration. Acclimatization used sterile soil and compost (2:1). The experiment arranged in Factorial Completely Randomized Design with two factors and ten replications. The first factor was varieties and second factor was media formulations. The results showed that the best callus induction media for Kidang Kencana was 2.4- D 9 µM + Picloram 4.5 µM, while for PSJT 941 was 2.4-D 13.5 µM. Regeneration  media  could  induce both  shoots  and  roots.  The  best regeneration media for Kidang Kencana and PSJT 941 were IBA 2.46 µM + BAP 1.33 µM. They could be acclimatized successfully in green house with highly percentage (80-100%).Key words:  Saccharum officinarum,  sugarcane, tissue culture, organo- genesis, multiplication

Abstract

Tujuan PKM ini untuk menciptakan prilaku sehat sejak dini pada anak sekolah dasar. Pada program ini peserta diberikan edukasi tentang pentingnya menjaga kebersihan lingkungan dan diri. Menanamkan kebiasan menjaga kebersihan pada anak harus dilakukan secara kontinu. Baik dirumah dan disekolah.Sosialisasi dilakukan dengan metode ceramah dan demonstrasi, dilanjutkan praktek untuk mencuci tangan oleh anak-anak. Mulai dari observasi lapangan, identifikasi masalah, dan pelaksanaan kegiatan sudah berjalan dengan baik dan lancar. Peserta kegiatan adalah siswa kelas 5 dan dilaksanakan di dalam kelas kemudian dilanjutkan dengan praktek di halaman sekolah. Beberapa permasalahan yang ditemukan yaitu banyak anak-anak yang kurang perhatian tentang kebersihan tangan. Di sekolah juga sudah tersedia fasilitas untuk mencuci tangan seperti kran air dan sabun, namun fasilitas tersebut kurang dimanfaatkan oleh anak-anak. Anak-anak malas pergi mencuci tangan. Namun, setelah diberikan materi tentang pentingnya menjaga kebersihan tangan, sedikit demi sedikit kesadaran siswa sudah mulai tumbuh untuk mencuci tangan pakai sabun. Agar siswa lebih antusias mudh mengingat langkah-langkah cuci tangan yang baik dan benar tutor memberikan tutorial cuci tangan dengan metode 1, 2, 3. Pertama basuh, kedua Gosok dengan sabun, dan ketiga bilas dengan air mengalir. Setelah diadakan kegiatan ini, anak-anak mulai displin untuk mencuci tangan sebelum memegang makanan dikantin. Namun, ada beberapa yang masih malas menerapkan. Sehingga diperlukan perhatian dan pengawasan yang kontinu baik dari guru dan orang tua.

Abstract

Untuk mendukung program pemerintah dalam memutus mata rantai penyebaran covid 19 pihak kampus juga perlu melakukan pemantauan kesehatan dan aktivitas mahasiswa selama di rumah. Sehingga saat kampus aktiv kembali mahasiswa dalam keadaan sehat dan steril dari paparan virus. Pemantauan kesehatan mahasiswa ini tentunya memakan waktu dan biaya yang besar jika mengingat jumlah mahsiswa yang tidak sedikit dan tempat tinggal mereka yang tersebar diseluruh wilayah di NTB bahkan diluar daerah. Sehingga diperlukan aplikasi teknologi agar program ini lebih efisien. Salah satu aplikasi yang dapat digunakan adalah menggunakan aplikasi Google Form. Aspek yang diamati yaitu kondisi pisik, dan kondisi lingkungan tempat tinggal. Berdasarkan hasil pemantauan kesehatan mahasiswa STIA Muhammadiyah Selong Program Studi Ilmu Administrasi Negara yang telah dilakukan belum ada ditemukan mahasiswa yang memiliki gejala positif Covid 19. Penerapan hidup bersih mahsiswa selama dirumah sudah sangat baik terlihat dari jumlah mahasiswa yang selalu menggunakan masker yaitu 88,9%, yang mencuci tangan pakai sabun 96,6%, dan yang selalu membawa handsanitizer 49,6%.Namun, penerapan social distancing dan phisical distancing belum maksimal dilihat dari presentasi jumlah mahasiswa yang selalu menghindari berkumpul dan menjaga jarak yaitu 49,6%.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the implementation of the juvenile criminal justice system law in upholding child criminal law in Surakarta, explain the process of assistance for victims and child offenders who are dealing with the law with a restorative justice approach in the form of diversion, and explain the obstacles found LBH (Legal Aid) 'Aisyiyah Central Java in law enforcement which acts as a child crime in Surakarta. This study uses an empirical approach. This research was conducted by examining primary data in the field, namely LBH Aisyiyah Central Java in the form of facts about the results of research directly at the research location and the results of interviews with members of advocacy organizations at LBH 'Aisyiyah, Central Java and in the Legal and Human Rights Council of' Aisyiyah Regional Leaders. Central Java and secondary data. The results showed that based on the results of the study in 10 criminal cases committed by children who were resolved by diversion in Surakarta, they had fulfilled and were in accordance with the Articles regulating diversion in the SPPA Law.  Whereas the concept of diversion has been running in Surakarta with many determinations of the results of a diversion agreement between the families of the victims and the families of the perpetrators and also LBH (Legal Aid) or related LSM (Non-Govermental Organization)  for crimes committed by minors. Abstract

Pelaksanaa Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) oleh tim dari Universitas Terbuka (UT) telah dilaksanakan di Balai pertemuan RW 10 Perumahan Bumi Sawangan Indah Pengasinan, Sawangan Depok. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra adalah balai pertemuan yang terletak di pinggir tebing sungai., balai pertemuan ini digunakan untuk berbagai kegiatan yaitu pertemuan pengurus RT dan RW, pertemuan PKK RW, Posyandu, dan Posbindu. Melihat pemanfaatan balai pertemuan ini dan kondisi bangunan yang berada di pinggir tebing sungai, tentu sangat tidak aman untuk warga dalam melakukan segala macam kegiatan di balai pertemuan terutama untuk anak-anak..  Tujuan kegiatan program PkM adalah: memberikan pengetahuan tentang keamanan lahan dan bangunan, pendampingan masyarakat untuk memanfaatkan lahan dan bangunan balai pertemuan, dan membantu merancang gambar untuk merenovasi bangunan dan membuat pagar balai pertemuan demi keamanan anak-anak,serta warga dan membantu mitra untuk membuat proposal ke pemda Depok agar memberi bantuan membangun turap sungai. Metode dalam melaksanakan program abdimas meliputi: observasi awal dan pengumpulan data; sosialisasi program PkM; pendampingan masyarakat dalam merenovasi dan membuat pagar pengaman. serta pendampingan dalam pembuatan proposal pembangunan turap ke pemnda Depok.  Hasil akhir dari program ini adalah: peningkatan kepedulian warga tentang keamanan dan meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pemanfaatan lahan dan bangunan balai pertemuan serta keberhasilan warga dalam mengajukan proposal pembuatan turap ke pemda Depok yang pada akhirnya pembangunan turap telah selesai dilaksanakan.Kata kunci:  pengabdian pada masyarakat, balai pertemuan, pemanfaatan lahan, pembuatan turap  sungai

Abstract

AbstractThe business and banking industry tend to develop increasingly complex from time to time, both in terms of business processes that occur, the prevailing organizational structure, to the size of the data and the number of personnel involved in it. Likewise with the role of elements of technology in supporting business operations that are getting bigger and bigger. Information systems, telecommunications networks, and databases for example, have become an inseparable part of the continuity of the operation of a business entity. But not only that, the threat that has the potential to disrupt the functioning of the technology supporting elements of this business is increasingly varied along with the times. These threats include burglary network security, lack of power, employee strikes, and more. Because of its considerable role, the threat to this technological element can be said to be a threat to the sustainability of the company as well. In this paper we discuss how risk analysis contributes greatly to the process of planning and managing DRP. Where do we know DRP is part of BCP. The Risk Analysis process is carried out with a technical analysis of risks related to hardware, lack of power, and human factors. While the development stage of the DRP includes Risk Assessment, Priority Assessment, Recovery Selection and Plant Documenting. Keywords: Risk analysis, DRP, risk assestement AbstrakBisnis dan industri perbankan  cenderung berkembang semakin kompleks dari masa ke masa, baik dari segi proses bisnis yang terjadi, struktur organisasi yang berlaku, hingga ukuran data dan jumlah personel yang terlibat di dalamnya. Begitu juga dengan peranan unsur teknologi dalam mendukung operasi bisnis yang semakin lama semakin besar. Sistem informasi, jaringan telekomunikasi, dan basis data misalnya, sudah menjadi bagian yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dari suatu kelangsungan operasi suatu badan bisnis. Namun tidak hanya itu, ancaman yang berpotensi menganggu berfungsinya unsur-unsur teknologi pendukung bisnis ini pun semakin bervariasi seiring dengan perkembangan zaman. Ancaman-ancaman ini antara lain mencakup pembobolan keamanan jaringan, ketiadaan daya, pemogokan pegawai, dan banyak lagi. Karena perannya yang cukup besar, ancaman bagi unsur teknologi ini dapat dikatakan merupakan ancaman bagi keberlangsungan perusahaan juga. Pada tulisan ini dibahas bagaimana analisis risiko berkontribusi besar dalam proses perencanaan dan pengelolaan DRP. Dimana kita ketahui DRP merupakan bagian dari BCP. Proses Analisis Risiko dilakukan dengan analisis risiko dari sisi teknis yang terkait dengan perangkat keras, ketiadaan daya, dan faktor manusia. Sedangkan tahap pengembangan DRP meliputi Risk Assesstment, Priotity Assesstment, Recovery Selection dan Plant Documenting. Kata kunci: Analisis risiko, DRP, risk assestement

Abstract

The increase of degenerative diseases. Degenerative disease is a disorder in which there is a decline in function or damage to body structure that occurs gradually. Some types of diseases that are included in the degenerative disease group include Diabetes and Hypertension. The main cause of the increased incidence and prevalence of degenerative disorders is changes in lifestyle and eating patterns that do not pay attention to the balance between intake and dietary needs and sedentary lifestyle. Improvements in lifestyle and diet can be done through the selection of nutrients that are adapted to the conditions of the degenerative diseases that he needs need the help of a nutritionist in determining a diet program or determining the diet. But not all people can meet an expert in nutrition to determine their nutritional needs due to several factors. To provide solutions to these problems, an expert system was created to determine the nutritional needs of degenerative sufferers by utilizing the field of Artificial Intelligence studies. With an expert system, the process for determining the status and nutritional needs of sufferers of degenerative diseases will be easier, because knowledge about nutrition has been adopted in this system. This expert system is used to determine the status and nutritional needs of sufferers of degenerative diseases using a web-based forward chaining method, the development of the system uses the eXtreme Programming method to accelerate the process of developing the system. With this system so that people can easily find out the status and nutritional needs of sufferers of degenerative diseases by providing food ingredient solutions recommended by nutritionists. Keywords  : Degenerative, Nutrition, Expert System

Abstract

Introduction: Readiness to face menarche is needed by teenage girl. Lack of knowledge about menarche can lead to a misconception about menstruation. Objective: The aim of this study was to determine the effect of videos and leaflets on menstruation on the readiness of teenage girl to face menarche. Methods: We used a quasi-experimental pre-posttest study with a control group design. The population of this study were students of class IV and V, the sample was obtained by purposive sampling with a total of 60 divided into two groups, namely the treatment group (n=30) and the control group (n=30). The treatment group was given educational videos and leaflets. Data were analyzed using the Mann Whitney test. Results: There was an increase in the readiness score (mean±SD [34.09 ± 3.49]) and the knowledge score (14.3±1.48) in facing menarche was higher in the treatment group than the readiness score (32.83±4.29) and knowledge scores (9.83±0.76) in the control group. The different test results showed that there are difference in readiness score (p=0.012) and knowledge score (p=0.001) between the treatment and control groups. Conclusion: Interventions in the form of educational videos and leaflets can increase readiness and knowledge to face menarche in teenage girl.

Abstract

In vitro selection using of salt (NaCl) has been used to select plants that tolerate salinity, so that effective selection process. The purpose of this study was to obtain information about the mechanism of salinity tolerance in rice in vitro conditions. This study consisted of two experiments, they are the selection of salinity tolerance somaclone putative mutants in vitro and study of salinity tolerance mechanism results in in vitro selection. The tolerant plants after being treated NaCl show response to the accumulation of proline is more, the content of K, Mg and Ca which tends to remain and Na content is lower, stomata density is fewer and the length and width ratio stomata is greater.
