Abstract

MSME Cita Rasa is a manufacturing industry in Gorontalo City. Fulfillment of consumer demand for the quantity and time of orders is closely related to the availability of raw materials, labor, machines, working time and other resources that support bread-making production. Therefore, it is necessary to calculate the scheduling of capacity requirements for bread products to see available capacity and actual capacity. The aim of this research is to create a bread production plan and determine the feasibility of bread production capacity at MSME Cita Rasa using the Rough Cut Capacity Planning method. RCCP is a method used to measure work station capacity so that it can be seen whether a production schedule requires overtime work hours or subcontracts. Based on the results obtained, from the production capacity feasibility test using RCCP, it can be seen that all work stations in the MSME Cita Rasa have a positive value, which means the capacity is feasible

Abstract

The Industrial Engineering Department is one of the departments at the Faculty of Engineering, Gorontalo State University which uses websites as a medium for delivering information. This website is used to convey information regarding class schedules, list of lecturers attending, information about departments, information about labs, final assignments, alumni and department accreditation. To measure the level of usability and quality of websites, the SUS (System Usability Scale) and WebQual methods are used. Seventy-five students majoring in industrial engineering were respondents in this research by selecting answers using a Likert scale. The calculation result of the average SUS score is 54.9, where the score falls into the grade scale F, Adjective Ratings OK and the Acceptability range is marginal low. The results of WebQual calculations, the correlation value obtained is 1 and the significant value is 0. This means that there is a relationship between user satisfaction and the three dimensions of WebQual. From the SUS score and WebQual value, it shows that the website has very low quality so this research recommends improvements.

Abstract

This study was conducted to improve the quality of bread products at UMKM Roti Masempo using the Taguchi method. The aim of the research was to investigate the main causes of defects in bread products and determine the optimal combination of process parameters to reduce defect rates. The Taguchi method was applied with the "smaller-the-better" characteristic to analyze factors contributing to product defects. The experimental design utilized an L9(3²) orthogonal array to simplify the combinations of factors tested. The study's findings indicated that the optimal combination to reduce bread product defects involved a baking temperature of 170°C for the top and 175°C for the bottom (level 2), along with a baking time of 18 minutes (level 1). With this setting, the risk of defective products decreased from an initial range of 15–30 defective breads to 3.24–5.25 defects at UMKM Roti Masempo.

Abstract

Convection Deanisa Sport is a business that moves in the production of clothing, among other office uniforms, school uniforms, alma mater jackets, and training sets. This convection is located on Jl. Jaksa Agung Suprapto No.5, Limba U Dua, Kota Selatan, Kota Gorontalo. From the results of initial observations in the field, defective products resulting from convection are still quite a lot in the period from 2023 to 2024. Some products that experience defects include errors in cutting, and the sewing process. the average percentage of defects by 10%. Of course, this percentage is very high for the scale of MSME convection Deanisa, so that for the limitation of product defect tolerance used, it is 2.5% - 3% by referring to research reports (Pratomo & Prassetiyo, 2023) and Research reports (Suhadak & Sukmono, 2021) that conduct research in MSMEs with the same scale as convection Deanisa. Therefore, in this research the author will analyze the quality of products using the six Sigma method through DMAIC steps in the convection process to identify product defects and evaluate the production process in creating products that are in accordance with the specified standards.

Abstract

Abstrak: UMKM Zoellen merupakan usaha yang bergerak di bidang kuliner yang berada di Gorontalo. Selama menjalankan aktivitas rantai pasoknya UMKM ini pernah mengalami kendala dalam proses pengadaan produksi dan pengiriman yang tidak tepat waktu. Proses pengadaan UMKM pernah mengalami kekurangan penyediaan bahan baku sehingga berpengaruh terhadap proses produksi berupa tidak tercapainya target produksi dan terlambatnya pengiriman produk. Dalam upaya penyelesaian masalah maka dilakukan pengukuran kinerja rantai pasok UMKM dengan metode SCOR dan AHP yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kinerja rantai pasok dengan mengetahui indikator apa saja yang digunakan serta memberikan usulan perbaikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat 13 indikator kinerja yang terpilih. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data, maka diketahui indikator kinerja memiliki nilai 64,61 (average) dengan menunjukan 5 indikator kinerja yang perlu dilakukan perbaikan.

Abstract

Abstrak: SAMSAT sebagai salah satu penyelenggara pelayanan administrasi kendaraan bermotor tidak luput dari berbagai persepsi yang menunjukkan bahwa pelayanan yang dilakukan belum efektif dan kurang berfokus pada masyarakat sehingga memunculkan keraguan tentang kualitas pelayanan yang di berikan oleh kantor SAMSAT, seperti halnya pada SAMSAT Bone Bolango. Terdapat beberapa keluhan dari masyarakat mengenai pelayanan SAMSAT Bone Bolango, seperti keluhan atas lama waktu pembayaran pajak dan mesin pemanggil antrian yang tidak berfungsi sehingga petugas perlu memberikan perhatian lebih agar nomor antrean tidak terlewat. kekurangan lain yang menjadi permasalahan dalam pelayanan pembayaran pajak di SAMSAT Bone Bolango yaitu adanya keluhan dari masyarakat mengenai kurangnya bentuk pengarahan, dan responsivitas pegawai yang didapat oleh masyarakat dalam setiap permasalahan yang terjadi pada saat pembayaran pajak berlangsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa dan mengukur kinerja kantor SAMSAT Bone Bolango menggunakan penerapan Balanced Scorecard yang terintegrasi dengan metode OMAX. Berdasarkan hasil penerapan Balanced Scorecard yang diintegrasikan dengan metode OMAX sebagai alat pengukuran kinerja SAMSAT Bone Bolango, diketahui bahwa kinerja SAMSAT Bone Bolango secara keseluruhan dapat dikatakan belum cukup baik karena dari keempat perspektif hanya 1 perspektif yang nilai performansinya di atas nilai rata-rata yaitu perspektif keuangan. Perspektif finansial merupakan perspektif dengan nilai indeks performansi dan indeks produktivitas tertinggi dengan nilai masing-masing 116,67% dan 6,50 Hal ini menunjukan bahwa SAMSAT Bone Bolango memiliki pengelolaan anggaran yang baik. Perspektif pelanggan merupakan perspektif dengan nilai indeks performansi dan indeks produktivitas terendah dengan nilai masing-masing 16,67% dan 3,50 Hal ini menunjukan bahwa masyarakat (wajib pajak) belum cukup puas dengan pelayanan yang diberikan oleh Kantor SAMSAT Bone Bolango.

Abstract

PT. Sinar Kristal Nusantara currently only relies on driver experience in determining distribution routes without special studies, which causes delays in the delivery of crystal ice products due to irregular distribution flow. This study aims to determine the optimal distribution route with the shortest distance to make deliveries more efficient and timely. The methods used are Nearest Neighbor and Tabu Search algorithm. The process starts by classifying the initial route using Saving Matrix, then determining the optimal route through Nearest Neighbor and Tabu Search. The results showed that this method resulted in a total mileage of 31.05 km with a travel time of 37.26 minutes, more efficient than the current route which reached 63.90 km with a time of 75 minutes. Tabu Search proved to be a superior optimization method because it produced a shorter route than using Nearest Neighbor alone. In conclusion, the combination of Nearest Neighbor and Tabu Search can improve the efficiency of crystal ice distribution at PT. Sinar Kristal Nusantara.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the level of the integrity index in the Gorontalo region, which includes six districts/municipalities and one province. Data were collected using a questionnaire instrument distributed to civil servants, beneficiary communities, vendors, and experts. The data were processed using R-Studio software to ensure accurate and comprehensive analysis. The findings reveal significant variations in index scores, with the highest score recorded in Bone Bolango District and the lowest in Pohuwato District. The dimensions of transparency and goods/services procurement management show strong performance, while institutional integrity and anti-corruption outreach tend to be low. Gorontalo City and North Gorontalo District show low institutional integrity scores, indicating the need for organizational culture reform and strengthened oversight systems. Initiatives such as technology-based services, community engagement, and anti-corruption training have shown positive outcomes, although their implementation remains inconsistent. Indications of nepotistic practices and tolerance toward gratuities pose challenges that require immediate attention. Strategic recommendations include strengthening internal oversight mechanisms, implementing a meritocracy system to eliminate nepotism, intensifying anti-corruption outreach, and enhancing community involvement in public oversight. The use of information technology and collaboration with supervisory institutions such as the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) are essential to realizing a more integrity-driven, transparent, and accountable governance system in Gorontalo.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada UMKM Bakso Civia di Kota Gorontalo yang mengalami permasalahan utama berupa ketidakkonsistenan bentuk dan ukuran produk bakso, yang berpotensi menurunkan tingkat kepuasan pelanggan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis mutu produk dengan menggunakan tiga alat bantu dari metode Seven Tools, yaitu lembar periksa (checksheet), histogram, dan diagram tulang ikan (fishbone diagram). Berdasarkan data dari total produksi sebanyak 5.950 unit bakso, ditemukan sebanyak 736 unit (12,4%) merupakan produk cacat. Jenis kecacatan tertinggi adalah ukuran tidak konsisten sebanyak 323 unit (43,9%), diikuti oleh bentuk gepeng sebanyak 231 unit (31,4%), dan tidak bulat sempurna sebanyak 182 unit (24,7%). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa faktor penyebab utama kecacatan produk berasal dari aspek manusia, metode kerja yang belum terstandarisasi, serta ketidakteraturan dalam penggunaan bahan baku.

Abstract

This study proposes a safer bentor frame design using a Research and Development (R&D) approach combined with the Pahl & Beitz design methodology. User requirements were gathered through field observations and questionnaires, revealing major safety issues in current bentor structures, including braking performance, suspension reliability, and dimensional inconsistency. A revised configuration was developed featuring a rear passenger layout, AISI 1020 frame material, front disc brake, telescopic suspension, and a differential drivetrain system. Structural performance was verified through static load simulation using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) based on real operating conditions. The results indicate a maximum stress of 140 MPa, displacement of 0.49 mm, and a safety factor of 2.49, remaining within the allowable limit of the material’s 351 MPa yield strength. These findings demonstrate that the proposed design offers improved structural integrity, stability, and operational safety, making it a viable alternative for practical implementation.
