Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of discovery learning model on students' science literacy in Indonesia. This research is a type of meta-analysis research. Data sources came from 10 national and international journals published in 2020-2023. Data search techniques in this study through Google Scholar, ERIC, DOAJ and ProQuest. The data analysis technique calculates the effect size value with the help of the JSAP application. The results of this study concluded that the average effect size value was 0.825 with large criteria. This finding explains that the discovery learning model has a positive effect on students' science literacy. This research provides important information about the application of the discovery learning model in learning

Abstract

Kemajuan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi telah membawa banyak pengaruh dan perubahan dalam peradaban manusia. Semua bidang dan sektor kini sedang berlomba – lomba untuk berevolusi menuju era digital. Tak terkecuali dalam bidang pendidikan yang perlahan meninggalkan metode pembelajaran konvensional dan beralih ke metode Electronic learning untuk mendukung proses belajar yang lebih cepat, akurat, dan efisien. E-Learning adalah proses belajar secara efektif yang dihasilkan dengan cara menggabungkan penyampaian materi secara digital yang terdiri dari dukungan dan layanan belajar untuk mencapai tingkat pembelajaran yang tinggi.pada penelitian ini menggunakan platform pengembang Aplikasi berbasis PC sebagai alat untuk mendesain dan melakukan perancangan. Aplikasi Mobile Based Test menggabungkan 3 jenis tipe akun dengan peran yang berbeda - beda yaitu Administrator sebagai pengelola aplikasi, Dosen sebagai Tutor, dan Taruna sebagai siswa. Aplikasi ini akan dijalankan di Smartphone Android dan  terintegrasi dengan Database sebagai pusat pangkalan data.  Aplikasi Mobile Based Test nantinya dapat mendukung pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang meliputi suatu aktifitas akademik berupa kuis, ujian harian, ujian tengah semester, ujian akhir semester dan berbagai metode penilaian yang menggunakan teori di jurusan Teknik Navigasi Udara.

Abstract

Radar Altimeter digunakan untuk mengukur jarak dari pesawat ke permukaan tanah atau permukaan laut yang bekerja pada frekuensi 4,2-4,3 GHz. Antena microstrip sebagai antena alternatif terdiri dari tambalan dan pesawat darat dengan Tembaga dan substrat menggunakan FR-4. Antena microstrip melingkar array 2x2 terdiri dari empat elemen antena melingkar tunggal yang dikombinasikan dengan teknik Wilkinson Power Divider. Optimalisasi array antena melingkar microstrip 2x2 pada 4,3 GHz sesuai dengan frekuensi operasi radar altimeter dengan kehilangan kembali -12,41 dB dalam rentang frekuensi 4,22 GHz hingga 4,36 GHz, bandwidth 144,1 MHz, VSWR 1,6, menghasilkan keuntungan 6.9 dB, serta menghasilkan pola radiasi lobus utama 7,34 dBi ke arah 20,0 deg dan beamwidth 26,3 deg. Hasil optimasi dibandingkan dengan antena microstrip melingkar tunggal, yang memiliki kehilangan pengembalian -16,19 dB dalam rentang frekuensi 4,27 GHz - 4,31 GHz, bandwidth antena ini adalah 48,4 MHz, VSWR 1,3, menciptakan keuntungan 4,3 dB, serta menghasilkan pola radiasi lobus utama 2,76 dBi ke arah 47,0 deg dan beamwidth 49,1 deg

Abstract

This study looks at how self-efficacy and learning motivation affect the learning results of cadets at the Surabaya Aviation Polytechnic. There is a change in how vocational education is seen, with a focus on practical skills and being ready for work. This means that cadets need strong learning skills and confidence in their academic and technical abilities. However, in practice, there are differences in how well cadets perform, which aren't always linked to their intelligence. So, it's important to understand psychological factors like self-efficacy and learning motivation more deeply. The research used a quantitative method with an explanatory correlational design. The sample included 120 cadets, and data was collected using total sampling. The tools used were questionnaires for self-efficacy and learning motivation as the main factors, and the GPA as a measure of learning outcomes. The data was analyzed using multiple linear regression through SPSS version 26. The results showed that both self-efficacy and learning motivation had a significant impact on learning outcomes. The self-efficacy had a β coefficient of 0.000 (p 0.05), and motivation had a β of 0.000 (p 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.667, which means that together, these factors explain 66.7% of the variation in learning outcomes. These results show that improving self-efficacy and learning motivation is very important for helping cadets achieve better learning results at aviation vocational schools. The study suggests that the Surabaya Aviation Polytechnic should create programs to boost self-efficacy and support both internal and external motivation to help cadets reach their best learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study investigates the dynamics of Dirty Dozen human error factors within Air Traffic Control (ATC) training simulations conducted under unusual conditions such as emergencies, urgency events, and communication failures. Using a Grounded Theory approach, data were collected from 13 cadets of the Aerodrome Control Tower program at the Surabaya Aviation Polytechnic through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and supporting documentation. The analysis employed open coding, axial coding, and selective coding, leading to the construction of a conceptual model that explains the emergence and interaction of Dirty Dozen factors. Findings reveal that these factors often arise simultaneously and reinforce one another, primarily triggered by operational pressure, limited resources, and insufficient preparedness in non-technical skills. Contextual elements within the learning environment—such as informal norms and technical limitations of the simulator—also intensified the occurrence of errors. Despite these challenges, cadets demonstrated adaptive strategies including communication adjustments, teamwork improvisation, and stress management techniques. The study highlights the systemic and dynamic nature of Dirty Dozen factors and underscores the need to integrate non-technical skill development into ATC training programs to strengthen human error mitigation from the early stages of professional education.

Abstract

Microstrip antennas play a crucial role in modern wireless communication systems owing to their compact geometry, low manufacturing cost, and ease of integration with planar circuitry. Despite these advantages, conventional microstrip antennas encounter inherent limitations such as narrow bandwidth, low gain, and reduced radiation efficiency. To overcome these challenges, this study introduces an improved antenna configuration incorporating metamaterial structures—particularly the Split-Ring Resonator (SRR) and the Electromagnetic Band Gap (EBG)—designed to enhance electromagnetic performance through surface-wave suppression and resonance manipulation. A rigorous simulation procedure using CST Microwave Studio is employed to analyze the effects of metamaterial placement and geometric optimization. The investigation focuses on key performance parameters, including S-parameters (S11, S21), bandwidth, radiation patterns, gain, and radiation efficiency. Through parametric evaluation, the integration of metamaterials is expected to significantly improve impedance matching, broaden operational bandwidth, and enhance radiation stability compared to conventional designs. The results of this work are anticipated to provide meaningful insights into how metamaterial structures can reshape current distribution and modify antenna behavior across targeted frequency bands. These findings contribute valuable knowledge for developing high-efficiency antennas suitable for next-generation wireless technologies, particularly millimeter-wave applications, IoT devices, and high-frequency communication systems.

Abstract

Jalan inspeksi sisi selatan Bandara Internasional Juanda belum memenuhi ketentuanteknis perkerasan, sehingga berisiko mengganggu keselamatan dan operasionalpenerbangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode MDPJ 2024 untuk menentukanketebalan perkerasan berdasarkan analisis lalu lintas (CESAL) dan daya dukungtanah (CBR), divalidasi dengan SKEP/347/XII/1999. Hasil perencanaanmenunjukkan struktur perkerasan lentur setebal 0,5 m dengan komposisi AC-WC,lapis pondasi kelas A dan B (0.1 m dan 0.15) , serta lapis bawah sirtu (0.2 m), untukjalan sepanjang 1.450 m dan lebar 5 m. Estimasi biaya sebesar Rp3.180.000.000,00,mengacu pada AHSP dan harga satuan 2025.
