Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Perbandingan Model DLTA Berbantuan Media Audio Visual dan Model DLTA Tanpa Berbantuan Media Audio Visual Berbasis Cerita Budaya Lokal Terhadap Kemampuan Menyimak dan Bercerita Siswa Kelas IV SD Gugus II Kecamatan Tamalate. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan bentuk desain penelitian ini pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV-SD dari lima Sekolah Dasar Negeri yang terdapat dalam gugus II kecamatan Tamalate. Sampel yang diambil adalah siswa kelas IV-A dan IV-SD Inpres Mallengkeri Bertingkat 1.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji  manova menyatakan nilai sig. (2-tailed) yaitu 0,000 < 0,05. Oleh karena itu, Ho ditolak dan H₁ diterima serta ditemukan perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Sehingga dapat  disimpulkan bahwa Model DLTA Berbantuan Media Audio Visual dan Model DLTA Tanpa Berbantuan Media Audio Visual Berbasis Cerita Budaya Lokal memiliki perbandingan yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan menyimak dan bercerita.

Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan desain penelitian dan pengembangan model ASSURE. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 5 MIN 1 Jeneponto yang berjumlah 24 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan karakteristik dari aplikasi digital android yang dikembangkan yaitu memuat materi ide pokok kelas 5 tingkat SD/MI dengan isi aplikasi meliputi petunjuk penggunaan media, KI/KD, materi pembelajaran yang dilengkapi dengan video, rangkuman, latihan soal, kuis, referensi serta profil pengembang yang dapat diakses melalui smartphone secara offline. Kelayakan aplikasi digital android ditunjukkan oleh total skor yang diperoleh dari validator ahli media, ahli materi dan guru mata pelajaran dengan skor rata-rata 3,6 dengan kriteria sangat layak. Kepraktisan aplikasi digital android mendapatkan hasil angket uji coba awal, uji coba kelompok kecil dan uji coba lapangan dengan rata-rata skor 3,48 dengan kriteria baik. Keefektifan aplikasi digital android dilihat dari hasil observasi aktifitas siswa dengan kriteria sangat baik dan persentase kelulusan dari tes yang diberikan menunjukkan kriteria sangat baik dengan ketuntasan belajar sebesar 91,67%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan literasi dengan teknik 6M berbantuan media gambar terhadap kemampuan menulis cerita narasi dan kemampuan bercerita siswa kelas III MI Abu Hurairah Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Quasi-Experimental Research atau Penelitian Eksperimen Semu. Metode yang digunakan yaitu literasi teknik 6M berbantuan media gambar pada kelas eksperimen. Sedangkan pada kelas kontrol hanya menggunakan metode konvensional. Peneltian ini terdiri atas 48 siswa kelas III yaitu 30 siswa kelas kontrol dan 18 siswa kelas eksperimen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan uji manova sebelum melakukan uji tersebut terdapat uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Hasil pengujian hipotesis manova menunjukkan bahwa nilai sighitung (0,00) < sig. α (0,05) berarti Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima artinya ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara kemampuan menulis cerita narasi dan kemampuan bercerita siswa kelas III MI Abu Hurairah Makassar. Dengan demikian literasi teknik 6M berbantuan media gambar dianggap berhasil dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerita narasi dan kemampuan bercerita bagi peserta didik sehingga metode ini dapat digunakan guru dalam kegiatan proses pembelajaran guna menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang baru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh metode field trip berbantuan media magic box terhadap keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi dan motivasi belajar siswa kelas V di Wilayah 1 Kabupaten Takalar. Desain kuasi-eksperimental dengan teknik non-probability sampling digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui tes menulis karangan dan angket motivasi belajar dari 59 siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa metode field trip berbantuan media magic box memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi siswa (nilai signifikansi = 0,000) dan juga berdampak positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa (nilai signifikansi = 0,000). Kesimpulannya, penggunaan metode field trip berbantuan media magic box efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis dan motivasi belajar siswa kelas V di Wilayah 1 Kabupaten Takalar.

Abstract

The Effect of the Poster Comment Method on Learning Outcomes of Writing Description of Class V Students of UPT SDN No 181 Pattopakang, Mangarabombang District, Takalar Regency. A Thesis of Primary School Teacher Education Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. Supervised by Munirah Madeamin as the first supervisor and Tarman A Arif as the second supervisor.This research discusses about the effect of poster comment method on the Indonesian language writing learning outcomes of the 5th grade student of V UPT SDN No 181 Pattopakang District, Takalar Regency. This research used pre- experimental design. The research population consisted of students of V UPT SDN No 181 Pattopakang , Mangarabombang District, Takalar regency. The research used purposive sampling technique, while the samples in this research were the 5th grade students, which consisted of 21 students. The research instruments were; observation and test of learning outcomes.

Abstract

The study aims to describe the level of students' ability to distinguish between standard and non-standard vocabulary in the Indonesian language. The population in this study was a student of V grade SD State 59 Noling who totalled 35 people. Data collection is done through test techniques, while data analysis is done using percentage techniques. This is evident from the data analysis that showed that 77.1% of the students of the sample obtained a score of 6.5 above, whereas the students obtaining a score below 6.5 was 22.65%. On this basis, it is expected that the learning process in the classroom, the teacher intensively gives tasks or training to the students in particular in terms of the difference between standard and non-standard vocabulary so that in the end students can establish the distinction between the two.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the quantum teaching and cooperative integrated reading and composition methods on students' ability to write descriptions. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The location of this research was SDN 261 Bilangporoa, Bulukumba district. Determining the subject of this study using simple random sampling technique with a total of 60 students. Data collection techniques used written tests. Data analysis in this study used the t test and ANOVA. The results of the study stated that from the third class, two experimental classes and one control class experienced an increase, but the experimental class improved better than the control class, where the posttest value of the quantum teaching experiment was 72.25, the integrated cooperative reading and composition experiment was 72.50 and the with conventional methods 66.40. For the inertial analysis results of the quantum teaching class using the independent t test a significance value of 0.017 was obtained and cooperative reading class and integrated composition were 0.013 and for the posttest ANOVA test results a significance value of 0.017 was obtained.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using the Cipit Baru Poetry Learning Model on the reading comprehension ability and reading interest of fourth grade elementary school students. A quasi-experimental design with a post test only-non-equivalent control group focus was applied to all fourth grade students (total sampling). Research data were collected through poetry writing ability tests and poetry appreciation with two assessment rubrics. The results showed that there was a partial and simultaneous effect of the use of the "CIPIT BARU" Poetry Learning Model on the ability to write poetry and appreciate poetry in grade IV elementary school students at both research loci. The conclusion of this study is that the use of the "CIPIT BARU" Poetry Learning Model can improve the ability to write poetry and appreciate poetry in grade IV elementary school students, as well as the importance of applying an innovative poetry learning approach in increasing students' reading interest and comprehension.

Fakhirah Amalia Lukman. 2023. Improving Reading Comprehension Skills using the Sustained Silent Reading Method in Class IV UPT SPF SD Inpres Kelapa Tiga 1 Makassar. Thesis. Primary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. This research aims to improve reading comprehension skills using the Sustained Silent Reading (SSR) method for class IV UPT SPF students at SD Inpres Kelapa Tiga 1 Makassar. The subjects used in this research were 23 students. This research procedure consists of 4 stages each cycle, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The indicator of reading comprehension in this research is the achievement of learning completeness. The data collection is an observation sheet and the final test of each cycle. The results of this research show that there is an increase in students' reading comprehension, namely in the first cycle of students' reading comprehension, an average score of 56.1 was obtained with a learning completeness of 26%. In cycle II the average score was 80.8 with learning completeness of 86.9%. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Sustained Silent Reading (SSR) method can improve reading comprehension in class IV students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Kelapa Tiga 1 Makassar.

Abstract

This study discusses the effect of the synthetic structural analytic method (SAS) assisted by audio-visual media on students' reading and writing skills. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the synthetic Structural Analytical method assisted by audio-visual media on students' reading and writing skills. The type of research used is Quasi Experimental Design with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design type. The population in this study were all class I Cluster III Galesong District consisting of six schools with a total of 332 students. The sample in this study was class I students at SDN No. 190 Inpres Bura'ne, totaling 53 people using cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out through technical tests to determine students' initial reading and writing skills in the form of questions and reading texts. The results of the study are based on the Independent Sample T Test Hypothesis 1, decision-making framework, if the significance value is less than 0.05, it can be said that the synthetic structural analytic method (SAS) assisted by audio-visual media on beginning reading skills. The significance value obtained from the independent sample t test is 0.00, which is smaller than 0.05. Therefore, it can be stated that there is an influence of the synthetic structural analytic method (SAS) assisted by audio-visual media on beginning reading skills. At the same time, the Independent Sample T Test Hypothesis 2 findings show that the significance value for the test is 0.00, which is less than 0.05. Consequently, it is possible to say that there is an influence of the synthetic structural analytic method (SAS) assisted by audio-visual media on initial writing skills. And the results of the Manova test, the significance value obtained from the Manova test is 0.00, which is smaller than 0.05. Therefore, it can be stated that there is an influence of the synthetic structural analytic method (SAS) assisted by audio-visual media on initial reading and writing skills
