Abstract

Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam pertumbuhan dan perekonomian suatu negara. Pada era digital saat ini, akses internet yang luas memberikan dampak positif bagi para pelaku UMKM. Kehadiran media online memungkinkan penyebaran informasi produk dan mempermudah konsumen dalam melakukan transaksi secara online. Di Desa Sugihwaras, terdapat salah satu UMKM yang dikenal sebagai Nekiyuuu. Tantangan yang dihadapi oleh UMKM ini adalah keterbatasan pengetahuan pemilik dalam penggunaan aplikasi Shopee serta tidak memiliki logo. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini berfokus pada pelatihan penggunaan dan pembuatan konten di Shopee sebagai media promosi. Program ini terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu survei, wawancara, pengambilan foto produk, dan pengambilan video. Langkah-langkah ini diharapkan dapat memperluas jangkauan produk yang dihasilkan oleh UMKM tersebut.

Abstract

The whole world knows that there has been a pandemic phenomenon for 2 years in all countries including Indonesia, this has made some people's habits change, including in buying a product or shopping. The existence of social media is now not only used as a means of entertainment, but as a modern marketing tool used by many businesses to reach buyers on a large scale. This study aims to analyze what Social Commerce Strategy is carried out by PT. Semoga Berkah Sukses Group or more familiarly known as 109 Pillow Official through the Tik Tok Live feature to increase sales. This study uses a qualitative method approach with an analytical descriptive model. Data collection was carried out through observation, documentation studies and interviews with 109 Pillow owners and their Live Hosts. The results of this study indicate that consistently live streaming by implementing several strategies optimally is the biggest cause of increased sales.

Abstract

Mechanic Haircut micro business is a small business with the advantage of selling excellent services but is not yet well-known by many people. This service aimed to assist in creating creative promotional content to attract more customers by utilizing Instagram and TikTok applications. The method used in the marketing promotion consisted of 3 stages, namely observation stage, training assistance, and presentation. The community service obtained a positive result in which the activities carried out enabled the micro business owners to utilize Instagram and TikTok media as free promotional media to increase their customers. Using image editing apps and feeds containing edited images could provide recommendations for the target audience so they would be interested in becoming customers. After the service activities were carried out with good dedication and were successful in assisting Mechanic Haircut micro business, the increase in customers could be observed every day.

Abstract

General Background: The Russia-Ukraine conflict has emerged as a pivotal global issue, significantly reshaping the geopolitical landscape. Specific Background: This study examines how mass media outlets, particularly BBC Indonesia and CNN Indonesia, frame their coverage of the conflict, emphasizing the role of media narratives in public perception. Knowledge Gap: While existing research highlights media influence in conflict reporting, there is limited comparative analysis focusing on Indonesian media and their unique framing techniques. Aims: The research aims to explore the differences in narrative construction and coverage strategies employed by BBC Indonesia and CNN Indonesia regarding the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Results: Through a systematic review of news reports, the findings reveal distinct approaches in the two media outlets, characterized by variations in perspective, source selection, and information presentation styles, despite a shared commitment to accuracy. Novelty: This study contributes new insights into the comparative framing of international conflicts by Indonesian media, underscoring the importance of contextual factors in shaping news narratives. Implications: The results suggest that understanding these framing differences is crucial for evaluating media influence on public opinion and discourse surrounding global conflicts, potentially guiding future research and media literacy initiatives in Indonesia and beyond. Specific Background: This study analyzes how CNN Indonesia and Kompas.com frame and present information regarding the territorial conflict, emphasizing the role of media in shaping public perception. Knowledge Gap: While previous studies have examined media representations of conflicts, there is a lack of focused analysis on Indonesian news outlets and their framing techniques in this specific context. Aims: The research aims to investigate the construction and presentation of narratives surrounding the Israel-Palestine conflict by CNN Indonesia and Kompas.com using a syntactic analysis approach based on the inverted pyramid structure. Results: The findings indicate that both media outlets exhibit similarities in their reporting but also highlight notable differences in titles and accompanying imagery. Abstract

General Background: Social media platforms like Instagram serve as spaces for users to share content, express their interests, and engage with others, with features such as posts and Instagram Stories facilitating diverse forms of communication. Specific Background: Ecological Observation and Wetland Conservation (ECOTON), a foundation focused on wetland conservation, particularly in managing the Brantas River, utilizes Instagram to promote environmental awareness, particularly concerning plastic waste. Knowledge Gap: While numerous studies examine the role of social media in environmental activism, there is limited research on how non-governmental organizations (NGOs) like ECOTON leverage Instagram to convey messages about plastic waste management. Aims: This research aims to describe and interpret the meanings embedded in ECOTON's Instagram posts, specifically analyzing the signs and symbols in their photos and videos using Charles Sanders Pierce’s semiotic theory. Results: The findings reveal that ECOTON effectively uses Instagram to raise awareness about plastic waste, presenting their messages comprehensively and resonating with the public through a strategic use of visual and symbolic representation. Novelty: This study contributes to the understanding of how environmental NGOs harness social media to frame ecological issues, emphasizing the role of visual semiotics in shaping public consciousness. Abstract

The purpose of implementing this community service is a form of responsibility from CSR (corporate social responsibility) to the surrounding community. This time the community service is focused on Pia Mahen MSMEs engaged in snacks, the presence of MSMEs also has a positive impact on improving the economy in Indonesia. The method used to carry out community service is by using 3 stages, starting from the pre-production stage which contains the search for problems that are being experienced by the resource persons, during production, namely the process of community service by carrying out various programs that have been formed, and post-production, namely the assessment stage of the success of the community service process that has been implemented. The selection of this method is considered helpful to classify the order that will be carried out for this community service. The result obtained from this community service is that there is an increase in followers and posts on Pia Mahen's Instagram and TikTok accounts, with the creation of interactive and creative content, thereby expanding the marketing reach of Pia Mahen's products. Based on the community service that has been carried out, it is understood that participation in marketing strategies with online media is very influential and has a significant impact

Abstract

The workshop business is a competition with high competitiveness with many competitors engaged in vehicle repair services. Fierce competition between automotive workshops encourages more effective, innovative and solution-oriented business branding. The "Jancuk Garage" workshop is a business in the field of motorcycle repair with several advantages but a low customer ratio. The purpose of the rebranding is to introduce Jancuk Garage to the public, increase the customer ratio, increase the positive image of the business in the eyes of the public and build righteousness and reputation. The implementation method includes creating social media content on an attractive Instagram account with the identity of Jancuk Garage's business so that it is known by the wider community. Make brochures, name cards, stickers and boxes of criticism and suggestions to be shared with the public which are effective promotional materials. Build good communication with customers and certain communities and improve good service from handling to facilities at the workshop

Abstract

UMKM Bakso "Goyang Lidah" Krian menghadapi kendala dalam memperluas pasar dan meningkatkan penjualan, dengan pencapaian target hanya 60-70% dari 100 porsi per hari. Pendampingan media sosial dilakukan untuk meningkatkan eksposur digital melalui pembuatan akun media sosial (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, dan Twitter), pembuatan logo, foto produk, konten, dan rebranding kemasan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi wawancara, diskusi, dan pelaksanaan program. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman pemilik UMKM tentang media sosial, penggunaan aplikasi editing, serta peningkatan jumlah pengikut dan jangkauan media sosial. Evaluasi menunjukkan respons positif konsumen dan peningkatan penjualan. Pendampingan ini berhasil membantu Bakso "Goyang Lidah" memperoleh keunggulan kompetitif di pasar kuliner local.

Abstract

In the digital age, social media serves as an important platform for individuals to express themselves and build identities. Vina, who has more than 9.5 million followers, utilizes TikTok to share job search tips, resume building, and interview techniques based on her experience as an HR Senior Associate at a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE). The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study, analyzing the uploaded content and the interactions that occur on the platform. The results showed that Vina managed to create a positive image through her professional appearance and interactive communication style, while showing her authentic side behind the scenes. Erving Goffman's dramaturgy theory is used as an analytical framework to understand the difference between front stage and back stage in online identity formation. This research provides insight into the role of influencers in shaping identity in the digital era and its impact on audiences. wuThis study aims to analyze Vina Muliana's (@vmuliana) online identity formation as a TikTok influencer who focuses on career education.
