Abstract

This qualitative study aimed to explore the strengthening of independent characters among Class II elementary school students during the Period of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM). The research utilized observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques, with the principal, Class II teachers, and guardians of Class II students as subjects. The analysis revealed that four indicators for strengthening independent character were identified within the learning process, despite some suboptimal outcomes influenced by various factors, including students themselves, teachers, and parents. The main strategy employed to enhance independent character was the involvement of parents in providing reinforcement, along with the teachers serving as positive role models. The most frequently implemented indicator for independent character strengthening was completing tasks without disturbing others, employing critical thinking and problem-solving approaches. Moreover, teachers fostered independent characters throughout all learning activities and actively cooperated with parents. These findings highlight the importance of cultivating independent character in elementary schools, emphasizing the significance of self-reliance, critical thinking, and cooperative learning. The implications of this study can inform educators, parents, and policymakers in designing effective interventions to foster independent characters among elementary school students during challenging periods such as PPKM. Highlights: Importance of parental involvement: The study emphasizes the significance of parents' participation in strengthening the independent characters of Class II students during the PPKM period. Role modeling by teachers: Teachers play a crucial role in setting a positive example and modeling independent character traits for students in the learning process. Fostering critical thinking and problem-solving: The implementation of critical thinking and problem-solving models in classrooms contributes to the development of independent characters among Class II students. Abstract

Language is a communicative phenomenon in a social context so that the ability to speak Arabic is no longer a complement but a vital requirement that must be mastered by prospective haj and umrah pilgrims. Therefore, the focus of research conducted by researchers is on user response to the design of a traveling-based communicative Arabic language e-book for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims at KBIH Jabal Nur Sidoarjo. This study used a descriptive qualitative method approach with data collection techniques including observation, documentation, and questionnaires and data analysis techniques with Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis model. The results showed a percentage of 90.8%, meaning that most of the congregation stated that the traveling-based communicative Arabic ebook included a new design typology that could be used as a guide in communicating practical Arabic in Saudi Arabia. Highlights: Vital Language Skill: Proficiency in Arabic becomes essential for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims due to the communicative nature of these journeys. Innovative Design: The study focuses on a new design typology for a traveling-based communicative Arabic e-book. Positive Reception: Research findings reveal a 90.8% approval rate among participants, indicating the effectiveness of the e-book for practical Arabic communication in Saudi Arabia. Abstract

Study aim For analyze impact from learning Darul Ahdi Wa nationality Shahadah to understanding attitude nationalist and religious student Grade IV of Cemengkalang State Elementary School. The method used is Pre Experimental Design with pre-test and post-test measurements were conducted on 28 students. The research This includes validity test, reliability test , N-Gain test, normality test, and paired test. Learning This combine values nationality and religiosity, with hope can increase understanding student about attitude nationalist and religious. The main goal education is For form moral character and improve intelligence. At the age of school basic, character student tend prone to to influence negative developing digital technology moment this. Abstract

The multicultural learning model is an essential approach in the context of today's education, in the era of globalization where social and cultural diversity is an important aspect that needs to be considered. This model aims to help students develop an attitude of tolerance in addition to emphasizing the cognitive component or mastery of knowledge. The purpose of this study is to see how the use of multicultural learning models affects the understanding of grade IV students about tolerance in Pancasila Education lessons. The researcher used a single-group experimental design and quantitative methodology. 28 students at SD Negeri Sidokepung 1 were the subjects of this study. Data collection was carried out through a pretest to measure students' initial understanding and posttest after the implementation of learning with a multicultural model. Testing the validity and reliability of the instrument is the first step in data analysis. Furthermore, using SPSS software version 26, normality tests, paired sample t-test, and N-Gain tests were carried out. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase in the understanding of students' tolerance attitudes, with the result of an N-Gain value of 0.82 which was categorized as high/effective. This researcher concluded that the multicultural learning model is effective in increasing students' tolerance attitudes and encouraging understanding of social and cultural diversity in the surrounding environment. The findings of this study are expected to support inclusive education and encourage the development of a tolerant generation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing a Project Based Learning (PBL) model integrated with the social values of Surah Al-Ma’un on elementary school students’ social attitudes. The research employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design. The participants were 30 fifth-grade students of SDN Wonoplintahan 2, Sidoarjo Regency, selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was a validated social attitude test. Data were analyzed using the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, paired sample t-test, and effect size calculation (eta squared). The results indicated a statistically significant improvement in students’ social attitudes after the implementation of PBL integrated with the values of QS. Al-Ma’un, with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The effect size was categorized as very large. These findings demonstrate that integrating PBL with religious values effectively enhances students’ empathy, social care, cooperation, and social responsibility, and supports character education in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of applying deep learning integrated with the values of QS. Al-Hujurat verses 9–13 on strengthening elementary school students' attitudes toward global diversity. The study uses a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest–posttest pre-experimental design. The research subjects consisted of 34 fifth-grade students at SDN Wonoplintahan 2. The research instrument was a global diversity attitude test that included indicators of empathy, tolerance, appreciation of differences, solidarity and cooperation, and global responsibility. The Shapiro–Wilk normality test, paired sample t-test, and Eta effect size were used to analyze the data. All analyses were conducted using SPSS 25. The results showed a significant increase in global diversity attitude scores after the intervention, with a large effect size and a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). These results indicate that QS. Al-Hujurat can effectively and sustainably shape the global diversity attitudes of elementary school students.

Abstract

Strengthening religious attitudes among elementary school students is an important necessity amid globalization, while learning in schools still often focuses on cognitive aspects. One effort that can be made is the application of the Project Based Learning model integrated with religious values in Pancasila Education. This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing a Project-Based Learning model with religious values on the religious attitudes of fourth-grade elementary school students. This study used a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest pre-experimental design. The research subjects included all 25 fourth-grade students at SDN Candipari 2. Data processing used the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, Paired Samples T-Test, and Partial Eta Squared calculation with the help of SPSS version 25. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase in students' religious attitudes after the implementation of the Project Based Learning model, with a value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a Partial Eta Squared value of 0.869, which is classified as a large effect. These findings indicate that the implementation of Project Based Learning integrated with religious values is effective in improving the religious attitudes of elementary school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum optimalnya implementasi pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar yang masih cenderung berfokus pada aspek kognitif dan kurang mengintegrasikan nilai kearifan lokal secara kontekstual. Meskipun program 7 Kebiasaan Anak Indonesia Hebat telah digagas sebagai strategi pembentukan karakter, kajian yang secara spesifik mengkaji implementasinya berbasis kearifan lokal masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi program tersebut, mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat, serta mengkaji kontribusinya terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program berjalan melalui pembiasaan rutin, keteladanan guru, dan integrasi nilai kearifan lokal, namun dipengaruhi oleh keterlibatan keluarga dan penggunaan teknologi.

Abstract

Penelitian terkait media digital umumnya berfokus pada aspek kognitif, sementara aspek afektif seperti religiusitas masih terbatas. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dampak penggunaan media flipbook digital yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai Islam terhadap sikap religius siswa SD serta menganalisis perbedaan sikap religius sebelum dan sesudah penerapan media ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis pre-experimental design. Subjek penelitian adalah 20 siswa kelas V SD Muhammadiyah 8 Tulangan. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 20 siswa kelas V SD Muhammadiyah 8 Tulangan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket sikap religius pada tahap pretest dan posttest. Analisis data meliputi uji validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, dan N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada sikap religius siswa. Nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 16,25 meningkat menjadi 24,50 pada posttest dengan selisih 8,25 poin. Uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05), yang menandakan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Nilai N-Gain sebesar 94,12% berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Seluruh siswa mengalami peningkatan tanpa penurunan skor. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media flipbook digital berbasis nilai-nilai keislaman efektif secara signifikan berdasarkan analisis statistik dalam meningkatkan sikap religius siswa. Secara ilmiah, penelitian ini memperkaya kajian mengenai pemanfaatan media digital pada ranah afektif di sekolah dasar. Secara praktis, media ini dapat digunakan guru sebagai alternatif pembelajaran inovatif untuk menanamkan nilai religius secara lebih menarik dan interaktif.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of multicultural learning based on religious values on bullying behavior of students in elementary schools. The method used is quantitative with a true experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group model. The subjects of the study were third-grade students of Purwodadi 2 Public Elementary School who were divided into experimental and control groups. Data collection was carried out through tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of the analysis using the independent sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.004 (p < 0.05), which indicates a significant difference between the experimental and control groups. Multicultural learning that integrates religious values such as tolerance, compassion, and mutual respect has been proven to be able to reduce bullying behavior significantly. These findings indicate that a learning approach based on religious values not only impacts cognitive aspects but is also effective in shaping the character of students who are tolerant and moral. Thus, this strategy can be used as an alternative in creating a safe, inclusive school environment and supporting holistic character development.
