Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis kesalahan berbahasa tataran sintaksis pada skripsi mahasiswa PBSI Universitas Katolik Santo Thomas Medan yang telah diuji pada tahun 2022. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu degan observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan adalah dengan reduksi data, penyajian, analisis, pengelompokan, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penetian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskristif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan kesalahan berbahasa tataran sintaksis pada skripsi mahasiswa PBSI UNIKA yaitu pada frasa dan kalimat dengan rincian (1) kesalahan penulisan frasa terdiri dari kesalahan pengulangan kata sebanyak 14, kata yang kurang lengkap sebanyak 14, preposisi sebanyak 2, dan kata tugas sebanyak 1; (2) kesalahan penulisan kalimat terdiri dari penggunaan huruf capital sebanyak 33, tanda baca sebanyak 15, huruf miring sebanyak 41, kesalahan analogi sebanyak 3, dan kalimat yang tidak lengkap sebanyak 1

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas VII SMP Santo Yoseph Medan pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengaruh model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap keterampilan menulis teks berita siswa kelas VII di SMP Santo Yoseph Medan. Jenis penelitian ini ialah penelitian Quasi Eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design yang menggunakan 2 kelas. Sampel yang dipilih adalah kelas VII A sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 38 siswa dan kelas VII B sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 35 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa Tes dalam bentuk soal essay. Teknik analisa data dilakukan secara kuantitatif. Berdasarkan perhitungan nilai rata-rata posttest keterampilan menulis teks berita kelas VII A selaku kelas yang menerima pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning adalah 82,02 lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai rata-rata posttest keterampilan menulis teks berita kelas VII B selaku kelas yang menerima pembelajaran tanpa menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning yaitu 57,14. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan uji t diperoleh nilai thitung = 11,62 dan ttabel = 1,99 maka nilai Thitung > Ttabel sehingga diterima H1 atau Ada pengaruh yang signifikan menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap keterampilan menulis teks berita siswa kelas VII di SMP Santo Yoseph Medan.

Abstract

This service aims to describe the forms of dyslexia language disorders in the communication of children aged 7 to 12 years who live in the Yayasan Tuna Netra Karya Murni orphanage. Dyslexia is a learning disorder that affects children's reading, writing, and speaking abilities. In the context of an orphanage, children often do not receive adequate assistance, so that dyslexia symptoms are not optimally handled. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation and interviews with caregivers and children in the orphanage. The results showed that children aged 7–12 years with dyslexia had difficulty recognizing letters, often reversed sounds or the order of letters in words, experienced delays in responding to questions, and had difficulty constructing sentences coherently. In addition, some children showed disorders in pronunciation, understanding spoken language, and a tendency to withdraw from conversations. The level of disorder varies depending on the age and ability of the individual. Children aged 7–8 years showed more phonological disorders, while children aged 11–12 years had difficulty in conveying ideas verbally. This study concludes that dyslexia language disorders in children in orphanages require special treatment through speech therapy approaches, early intervention, and communication training that are appropriate to the characteristics of the age and needs of the children.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the types of difficulties experienced by students in the material of FPB (Greatest Common Factor) and KPK (Least Common Multiple) in the fifth grade of SDN 07 Pontianak Kota. The research method used is descriptive qualitative based on the indicators of learning difficulties according to Abdurrahman (2003), which are (1) factual learning difficulties, (2) conceptual learning difficulties, (3) operational learning difficulties, and (4) principled learning difficulties. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. This research was conducted with fifth-grade students of SDN 07 Pontianak Kota by collecting data through tests. The results revealed that difficulty learning operations is the most common type of difficulty experienced by students with a total of 53.9% of difficulty, principle learning difficulty is the second type of difficulty experienced by students with a total of 52.34% of difficulty, concept learning difficulty is the third type of learning difficulty experienced by students with a total of 48.43% of difficulty, and fact learning difficulty is the least type of difficulty experienced by students with a total difficulty percentage of 15.625%. Then the results of the study showed that students were more likely to experience difficulties in doing FPB questions than the KPK with a percentage of 67.96%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didorong oleh rendahnya keterlibatan dalam membaca di kalangan siswa, yang menunjukkan ketidakpedulian yang nyata terhadap program literasi yang ditawarkan di lembaga pendidikan. Sejumlah besar siswa mengungkapkan kebosanan ketika diminta membaca oleh guru mereka, menunjukkan preferensi untuk bermain game daripada literatur. Situasi ini memerlukan perhatian mendesak terhadap kemanjuran inisiatif literasi sekolah dan kualitas layanan perpustakaan dalam memelihara minat membaca. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi dampak program gerakan literasi dan kualitas layanan perpustakaan terhadap minat baca siswa. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, sampel terdiri dari 72 siswa sekolah menengah dari kelas X, yang dipilih melalui teknik pengambilan sampel jenuh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner tertutup, diikuti oleh analisis melalui uji asumsi klasik, regresi linier sederhana dan berganda, serta penilaian validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa: (1) program gerakan literasi secara positif dan signifikan memengaruhi minat baca siswa (t = 5,539; p = 0,000); (2) kualitas layanan perpustakaan juga memiliki dampak positif dan signifikan terhadap minat baca (t = 2,782; p = 0,007); dan (3) jika dipertimbangkan secara bersama-sama, kedua variabel tersebut secara signifikan memengaruhi minat baca siswa (F = 63,454; p = 0,000). Koefisien determinasi yang disesuaikan (Adjusted R²) sebesar 0,638 menunjukkan bahwa 63,8% variasi minat baca dapat dikaitkan dengan kedua variabel tersebut, sementara 36,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar cakupan penelitian ini. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya peningkatan program literasi dan peningkatan kualitas layanan perpustakaan untuk menumbuhkan budaya membaca yang kuat di kalangan siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to determine customer satisfaction and the quality of consumer service when using online transportation service application, Maxim. This research is quantitative research by conducting a survey using a questionnaire research instrument. The data used is primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires online to Maxim users in the city of Medan using accidental sampling techniques to 30 respondents. The research results show that the majority of respondents are satisfied with Maxim's services. Most respondents felt their hopes and desires were met, would not hesitate to use Maxim again, and were willing to recommend it to others. Respondents also assessed that Maxim was quite punctual, safe and used a suitable vehicle.

Abstract

Program pengembangan masyarakat yang berlandaskan seminar perancangan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKPD) ini bertujuan untuk memperkaya lanskap pendidikan SD Negeri Bandar Khalifah, Aceh Tamiang. Diselenggarakan pada 10 Januari 2024, seminar ini menekankan pendekatan kolaboratif, memungkinkan pertukaran ide yang hidup di antara para instruktur. Hasilnya menunjukkan hasil yang sangat baik, dengan peningkatan keterlibatan guru, kepercayaan diri, dan rasa kebersamaan. Program ini berhasil mengatasi permasalahan unik yang dihadapi oleh para pengajar di lingkungan setempat, memberikan wawasan praktis dan solusi untuk penciptaan LKPD yang efektif. Tes pasca-seminar menunjukkan peningkatan besar dalam pemahaman dan kesiapan instruktur untuk menerapkan taktik ini di kelas mereka. Selain pertumbuhan keterampilan individu, proyek ini mendorong pembentukan jaringan yang mendukung di antara para instruktur. Peluang berjejaring yang dikembangkan selama seminar berkembang menjadi kolaborasi berkelanjutan, yang menambah jaringan kemajuan profesional yang berkelanjutan. Dampak positifnya juga dirasakan oleh siswa, dan para guru melaporkan adanya peningkatan keterlibatan siswa dan peningkatan hasil belajar. Keberhasilan upaya ini menarik minat otoritas pendidikan setempat, sehingga menawarkan potensi kerja sama dan inisiatif yang lebih besar. Kesimpulannya, proyek pengembangan masyarakat ini tidak hanya mencapai tujuan jangka pendeknya namun juga meletakkan landasan bagi pertumbuhan dan kemitraan yang berkelanjutan. Seminar pembentukan LKPD berfungsi sebagai paradigma perubahan revolusioner dalam sistem pendidikan, yang menggarisbawahi pentingnya investasi berkelanjutan dalam pengembangan profesional guru untuk kemajuan pendidikan yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of problem-based learning model assisted by PhET simulations on problem solving ability and mastery of physics concepts of students. This type of research is Quasi Experimental with non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study were all students of class XI IPA SMAN 4 Mataram with sampling technique using purposive sampling technique, because there were four classes XI IPA, so it was determined that class XI IPA 1 as the experimental class and class XI IPA 2 as the control class. Based on the results of the study, the average value of physics problem solving ability of students in the experimental class was 45.09, while the average value of problem-solving ability of the control class was 39.61, while the average value of concept mastery of the experimental class was 70 and the control class was 51.15. Data on problem solving ability and concept mastery of both classes are normally distributed and both are homogeneous. Data on problem solving ability and concept mastery were analyzed using the polled variance t-test at a significant level of 5% and obtained  of problem solving ability of 2.24, while concept mastery obtained  of 6.18 and obtained  of 2.00, with hypothesis testing criteria if  is greater than  then  is rejected and  is accepted. Based on the results of this study, it shows that there is an effect of problem-based learning model assisted by PhET simulations on problem solving ability and mastery of physics concepts of students.

Abstract

This research seeks to elucidate the Job Creation Regulation Number 6 of 2023, promulgated on December 30, 2022, by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, as a manifestation of the Government's commitment to ensuring legal protection for citizens' rights to employment and a dignified standard of living through job creation. Employment relationships may arise due to labor, directives, and remuneration. This research examines the two primary forms of employment relationships recognized under Indonesian labor law: Fixed-Term Employment Agreements and Indefinite-Term Employment Agreements. It employs a statutory and conceptual approach as the methodological foundation. The research relies on various legal materials, which are systematically collected and analyzed to address the legal problems under investigation. This research aims to provide a precise, clear, and accurate comparison of Law Number 13 of 2023 concerning Employment and Job Creation Regulations (RI Law Number 6 of 2023 regarding the Enactment of Perpu Number 2 of 2022 on Job Creation). This approach reveals that workers under a Fixed-Term Employment Agreements (PKWT) receive legal protection and compensation from the outsourcing company following the termination of their work agreement, including in cases of transfer of the outsourcing company, as stipulated in the aforementioned regulation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of problem-based learning model assisted by PhET simulations on students' physics problem solving ability. This research is Quasi Experimental with non-equivalent control group design. Data Problem solving ability of both classes are normally distributed. Based on the results of the data homogeneity test, the problem-solving ability data are both homogeneous. Problem solving ability data was analyzed using the polled variance t-test and obtained a t_count of 2.24. The t-table value for problem solving ability data is 2.00 at a significant level of 5%. The value of t_count is greater than t_table, meaning that there is an effect of problem-based learning model assisted by PhET simulations on physics problem solving ability of students.
