Abstract

In science subjects, students have difficulty in remembering the material and have low group discussion skills. This material requires visual media such as images and animations so that concepts can be understood more concretely. Science learning should use technology-based media. This study aims to determine the need assessment, validity, effectiveness, and practicality of Bamboozle-based multimedia. The method used is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model which includes stages: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research was conducted at SDN 2 Bangunmulyo Pakel District with 20 students as the subjects. Data collection techniques include need assessment, expert validation, pretest and posttest, and practicality questionnaire. The data analysis technique used the average percentage of needs questionnaires by students and teachers, the average percentage of questionnaires from material experts and media experts, the N-Gain test based on student pretest and posttest results, and the average percentage of student and teacher practicality questionnaires. The results showed that the need assessment showed a value of 88.6% with very need criteria, the validity test obtained an overall average value of 91.9% with very valid criteria, the effectiveness of obtaining an N-Gain value of 0.89 with a high category means very effective, and the practicality test results reached 88.6% with very practical criteria. Therefore, this media is recommended to be applied.

Abstract

This research is motivated by one of the difficulties faced by the fourth-grade students of SDN Manggis 2, which is the challenge of understanding the concept of length measurement units, such as conversion between kilometers, centimeters, meters, and millimeters, and difficulty in memorizing length units. This issue is caused by the use of monotonous and less interactive learning media. Based on observations from 20 students, the scores ranged from 30 to 75, and the results of a student needs survey indicated that 85% of the students expressed a strong need for learning media. Therefore, the researcher developed an innovative and engaging learning media to enhance students' understanding of length measurement units.This study aims to develop the "Smart Stairs" media as a learning aid for the material on length measurement units and to assess the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the media product. The research used the Research and Development (R&D) method, with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research subjects were 20 fourth-grade students. Data were collected through observations, interviews, student needs response questionnaires, pretests, posttests, as well as validation from material and media experts.The results of the study showed that the "Smart Stairs" media had a validity rate of 82.22% from the material expert, categorized as very valid, and 82.5% from the media expert, also categorized as very valid. The practicality assessment by teachers via response questionnaires obtained a score of 46, with a percentage of 83.63%, categorized as very practical. The small group trial resulted in 75.2%, categorized as practical, and the large group trial resulted in 83.9%, categorized as very practical. The learning outcome improvement showed an average pretest score of 52.25%, which increased to 85.50%, with an average improvement of 63.63%. In conclusion, the "Smart Stairs" media is suitable for use as a learning tool, as it has been proven to be valid, practical, and effective in helping students understand length measurement units.

Abstract

This study was motivated by a problem identified by the researcher, namely that teachers rarely use instructional media and tend to rely on lecture and question-and-answer methods. Based on a student needs questionnaire, 83% of students reported difficulty in understanding the topic of energy transformation in science lessons. This is evidenced by the fact that 9 out of 15 fourth-grade students at SDN Mojokambang 2 scored below 75. Additionally, 60% of students stated that learning activities did not include any games. In response to these issues, this study aims to develop SMOBI (Smart Box for Energy Transformation), an instructional media that is valid, practical, and effective as a teaching aid for fourth-grade science lessons on energy transformation. This research uses the R&D method with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The validity of the SMOBI media was assessed with a score of 85% from material experts and 83.3% from media experts, categorizing it as highly valid. Its practicality was evaluated through questionnaires: the teacher respondents gave a score of 87.5%, while student respondents in small-group testing gave a score of 94%, and in large-group testing, a score of 95%, classifying it as highly practical. The effectiveness of SMOBI was based on students' mastery in answering evaluation questions, with 12 out of 15 students achieving mastery, resulting in an effectiveness rate of 86.6%, which is considered highly effective. SMOBI can be used in the learning process to improve student learning outcomes, increase student engagement, and assist in understanding the material.

Abstract

In science lesson of elementary school, there are some problems related to the students' learning outcomes that are still low. This is proved by the average score of students is 69 and viewed from the percentage of students' learning achievement is 38%. This is because the students understanding related to the preparation of teaching administrations are still lack. Another factor that influences is lecturer teaching method is not appropriate. The learning that is applied so far is teacher-centered, so that students are more passive and less involved in learning activity. The objective of this study is to improve the students learning outcomes of science lesson of elementary school. This research used classroom action research with the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research subjects are A class of 6th semester of Primary School Teacher Education Department, Nusantara PGRI Kediri University. The data of this study are collected by observation and test techniques. The results showed that the average increase in student learning outcomes from pre-cycle activities of 69, in the first cycle 73, and on the second cycle increased to 83. While the percentage of students' learning achievement also increased from pre-cycle activity by 38%, in the first cycle to 59%, and in second cycle reached 87%. Based on the results study, it can be concluded that the module based on cognitive conflict can improve the understanding and learning outcomes of students in Science Lesson of Elementary School of Primary School Teacher Education Department, Nusantara PGRI Kediri University. Abstract

Pada jenjang Sekolah Dasar (SD) saat ini telah menggunakan Kurikulum 2013 (K-13) yang menekankan pada pembelajaran tematik dengan mempelajari berbagai bidang ilmu secara bersamaan dalam satu rangkaian tema. Tetapi permasalahnya adalah belum ada materi pembelajaran yang dikemas dalam bentuk multimedia interaktif yang mampu mengaitkan pembelajaran tematik K-13 di sekolah dasar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan produk multimedia interaktif berbasis K-13 sebagai inovasi pembelajaran tematik di sekolah dasar yang valid. Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan mengadaptasi model pengembangan ADDIE. Dikatakan mengadaptasi karena proses penelitian ini berhenti pada tahapan development yaitu dilihat dari segi validitas produk. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan angket sedangkan analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu diskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Validitas produk berdasarkan ahli desain grafis mendapatakan skor 87 dengan kriteria valid. Sedangkan menurut ahli materi IPA produk ini mendapatkan skor 86 dengan kriteria valid. untuk ahli MTK mendapatkan skor 86, ahli materi bahasa Indonesia mendapatkan skor 90, dan pada materi PKN mendapatkan skor 89 dengan keterangan valid. Pada penilaian ahli materi PJOK mendapatkan skor 93 dengan kategori sangat valid. Dari segi kebahasaan multimedia ini mendapatkan penilaian sangat valid dan sesuai dengan tingkat perkembangan kognitif anak dengan nilai kevalidan 92. Dengan demikian kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu produk multimedia interaktif berbasis K-13 ini dikatakan valid dan layak digunak

Abstract

This study aims to determine the suitability of colligative material aspects of the solution in articulate storyline-based learning media with assessment indicators on aspects of suitability of material with Basic Competency, suitability of material concepts with media, contextuality, depth of material, ease of material to understand, systematics, clarity of material, suitability of amount practice questions with the amount of material presented, the ease of reviewing the material, motivating students as a whole. The research instrument was a questionnaire assessment sheet related to the suitability of the material with the Basic Competency in articulate storyline-based learning media based on the aspects that have been mentioned. The method used in this study is the one method, which is a research step using a qualitative approach. The results of the research on the suitability analysis of colligative material solutions on articulate storyline-based learning media were obtained from a validity questionnaire questionnaire by two material experts. The suitability of the material aspects of this media is the result of validator one giving an average score with a percentage score of 88% including very good criteria (very valid), and validator two giving a percentage of an average score of 82%, namely in the good category ( valid). So it can be concluded that the suitability of the material aspects of the articulate storyline-based learning media is stated to be appropriate and valid

Abstract

Matematika merupakan pelajaran yang ditakuti mayoritas siswa khususnya siswa sekolah dasar. Hal ini dikarenakan materi matematika yang bersifat abstrak juga disajikan secara abstrak. Matematika untuk siswa sekolah dasar harus disajikan secara konkrit sehingga dapat dipahami oleh siswa. Salah satu materi yang sering disajikan secara abstrak adalah operasi pecahan. Materi tersebut sering kali disajikan secara abstrak dengan rumus-rumus sehingga siswa kurang memahami makna dari materi tersebut. Dampakya, banyak siswa yang kesulitan dalam melakukan operasi hitung pecahan, khususnya operasi hitung pecahan yang berpenyebut tak sama. Selain itu, dalam mengikuti perkembangan zaman di era revolusi industry 4.0, guru perlu mengemas pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Salah satu inovasi yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan mengembangkan multimedia interaktif yang dirancang dengan software Macromedia Flash 8 dengan memuat animasi dari materi operasi pecahan yang disajikan secara menarik. Dalam proses mengembangkan produk multimedia, salah satu tahap yang dilalui adalah proses validasi. Validasi yang dilakukan kepada tiga orang ahli, yakni ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli bahasa menunjukkan bahwa multimedia interaktif masuk dalam kategori valid dan dapat digunakan untuk siswa.

Abstract

Kemampuan menulis bagi guru menjadi tuntutan profesinya. Bagi pengembangan karirnya guru wajib memenuhi syarat berupa penulisan karya ilmiah. Syarat ini seringkali menjadi penghambat kenaikan jenjang pangkat bagi guru mengingat rendahnya kemampuan dan minat menulis di kalangan mereka. Kegiatan yang akan dilaksanakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah kegiatan workshop menulis karya ilmiah, dimana pada tahap pertama peserta mendapatkan materi yang berkaitan dengan penulisan karya ilmiah. Selanjutnya, pada tahap kedua, peserta diwajibkan membuat karya ilmiah dengan menggunakan metode pendampingan, partisipatif, serta terbimbing. Tahap ketiga peserta mengumpulkan tugas karya ilmiah dilanjutkan dengan diskusi yang melibatkan semua personalia pengabdian dan peserta pelatihan. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan oleh dosen-dosen PGSD yang berbentuk kegiatan workshop penyusunan karya ilmiah bagi Guru Sekolah Dasar Pada Anggota Gugus 1 Kecamatan Ringinrejo Kabupaten Kediri. Materi teoritis tentang karya ilmiah dan pendampingan tentang praktik penyusunan penelitian tindakan kelas ini dapat menghasilkan output berupa proposal dan rancangan laporan penelitian tindakan kelas, diharapkan guru memiliki wawasan untuk menyusun penelitian tindakan kelas, disamping itu guru memiliki pengalaman dalam melakukan kegiatan penelitian.

Abstract

This activity aims to provide training to teachers and practice problem making and implementation in elementary schools. So that teachers get direct experience in making problems through the Kahoot application for teachers. The method of carrying out this activity is carried out from the preparation stage to the reporting of activities that take about 1 month. Parties involved in the activity include: 1). Lecturers as speakers and moderators, students as a support team for the implementation of the event. 2). Teachers in SDIT Bina Insani Kediri. Of the 25 teachers who have participated in the training, as many as 17 teachers have submitted the results of the analysis, based on the results of the questionnaire showed 4 teachers stated there were no obstacles in implementing kahoot. While the other 13 stated to experience some obstacles, namely less accustomed to operating kahoot. The advantages of applications when implemented include more interesting and easy to do. Kahoot application can be one of the alternative learning variations. Through the use of kahoot learning outcomes related to the order of the level of truth problems can be more quickly known. Kahoot application is practical, because teachers can directly monitor students who work on problems.

Abstract

Program ECOBOT (Eksperimen Cinta Botani) di SDN Kraton bertujuan meningkatkan literasi sains, memberikan pengalaman belajar langsung, dan menumbuhkan kepedulian lingkungan peserta didik. Program ini dilaksanakan di SDN Kraton yang diikuti oleh suluruh peserta didik dari semua jenjang kelas. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap konsep sains dasar serta keterampilan proses sains, seperti mengamati, mencatat, dan menganalisis pertumbuhan tanaman. Program ini menjadi bentuk inovasi edukatif yang mengintegrasikan pembelajaran sains dengan pendidikan lingkungan hidup, sekaligus menumbuhkan sikap peduli dan tanggung jawab terhadap alam sejak usia dini pada tingkat sekolah dasar.
