Abstract

These researches are for: (1) description of ability and export students in X grades high school 1 Sungai Puar, Agam, (2) description writing argumented students in X grades high school 1 Sungai Puar, Agam, (3) description relation between writing with skills how to write argumented paragraf students in X grades high school 1 Sungai Puar, Agam.            These researches used quantitative approach with descripted metode results of  research are from 2 tried out: objective and performance. Objective tried out used for gathering data, whereas performance used for gathering data of writing skills of argumented paragraf. Are exsampel of these researches are 32 people, we ased propotionat technique random sampling take out 24 % from all of students per class.            Base this research and data analysis, conclated : 1st understand reading students of high school 1 Sungai Puar, Agam resulted in good qualification (74,25), 2nd skiils of writing argumented paragraf resulted enough qualification (70,46), 3nd there were signifant relation between understanding read and skills of writing argumented paragraf, because of improving resulted t sount > t tabel (4,098 > 2,750). 0,60 so that writing and reading have significan relation.

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini dibahas keterampilan membaca teks berita dengan menggunakan teknik scanning siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Kecamatan Ampek Nagari Kabupaten Agam. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh empat alasan, pertama, siswa kurang mampu dalam memahami teks berita. Kedua, rendahnya nilai siswa dalam menjawab pertanyaan yang berkaitan dengan teks berita. Ketiga, siswa merasa bosan dalam membaca. Keempat, dalam proses belajar mengajar guru mengabaikan teknik yang cocok dengan permasalahan yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan membaca teks berita dengan menggunakan teknik scanning siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Kecamatan Ampek Nagari Kabupaten Agam.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Kecamatan Ampek Nagari Kabupaten Agam yang berjumlah 161 orang. Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 40 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel proporsional random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah berupa lembaran soal tes yang diberikan kepada siswa dengan lima alternatif jawaban. Analisis data dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah (1) mengolah skor menjadi nilai dengan menggunakan rumus persentase, (2) mengelompokan keterampilan membaca teks  berita siswa berdasarkan skala 10, (3) menganalisis data, (4) membuat deskripsi data.Berdasarkan Hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan hal-hal berikut. Pertama, keterampilan membaca teks berita dengan menggunakan teknik scanning siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Kecamatan Ampek Nagari, Kabupaten Agam dilihat dari unsur teks berita. What 92,5% (BS), Who 85,65 (B), Where 95% (BS), When 84,5% (B), Why 90% (BS), How 78,75% (B). Kedua, keterampilan membaca teks berita dengan menggunakan teknik scanning siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Kecamatan Ampek Nagari, Kabupaten Agam secara keseluruhan tergolong baik (B) dengan nilai rata-rata 85,75%. Kenyataan tersebut dapat menunjukkan bahwa siswa mampu membaca teks berita dengan menggunakan teknik scanning secara baik.

Abstract

This study is qualitative research by using descriptive methods. Data of this research is intrinsic element that support inner figure conflict in novel “Cinta Suci Zahrana”. Source of the data is novel “Cinta Suci Zahrana” created by Habiburrahman El Shirazy publish in 2011 that cansists of 284 page divide in 18 chapters. The purpose of this research is to describe inner conflice woman based on “Id”, “Ego”, and “Super Ego” that is caused of inner conflict in novel “Cinta Suci Zahrana” created by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. This research explains that Zahrana. Who has the woman figure in this novel have inner conflict because of “Ego” affected of herself. She too keep the ego was in hersef, so that she was wrong in taking decisions. She was sad because cold treatment of her parents when she succeed made an achievement that is proud. It causes of “Id aspect” that affected herself. Then, inner conflict Zahrana more added when she proposed bya Mr. Sukarman, the people who has bad attitude and as Dekan at the university where she was teach at that place. She decided to resign as a lecturer at Univ. Magunkarsa because she didn’t receive Mr. Surkarman’s propose. She chooses that decision because of “Super Ego” aspect an herselt. When her fiance was died, “Id aspect” always affect herself. Noeverhteless she was able to resolve the problem. Finally, Zahrana find her soulmate, she was married with Hasan, who has her students, and she lived happily.

Abstract

The novel is a story that takes some union issues that are raised as sadness , joy , treachery , honesty , and other life problems . Social conflict is conflict that occurs as a result of human social contact with other people . Conflict can be found in all walks of life.The method used in this research is descriptive method . Descriptive method decomposes the data means in the form of words or pictures, not in the form of figures . The aim is to create a description , picture systematic , factual , and accurate statement of the facts, attributes and relationships anatar investigated phenomenon , so saw the quality or the quality of the object of scrutinyOutcomes Research ( 1 ) Social Conflict shape divided in two : (a ) Individual Conflict With Family Circle ( b ) Conflict Individuals With Social Circle . ( 2 ) Cause Social Conflict or matter giving rise to social conflicts . that the cause of social conflict can occur from a variety of factors namely economic factors , particularly poverty and cultural background differences . ( 3 ) Impact of Social Conflict is the result of social conflicts arising .Based on the results of research on social conflict in the novel Land Tabu Anindita work . S Thayf , it can be concluded that Mabel , Mace , and Leksi as protagonist experiencing social conflict that is individuals with conflicts within a family. While individual conflicts within society experienced by Mabel figures only.

Abstract

This research was conducted due to the students’ difficulties in expressing their ideas when they were asked to write tales .this researcsh was designed for describing the students’ ability in rewriting spoken tales in class VII of SMP Negeri 35 Padang. This was a  aquantitative research which used descriptive method. The data of the research was gotten from a test. The result of the research showed that the students’ ability in rewriting the spoken tales in class VII of SMP negeri 35 Padang was good in which the students’ average score was 81,94%. The students’ ability in rewriting the  rewriting the spoken tales viewed from (1) plot was good in  which the students’ average score was 77,08%,(2) background was very good in which the students’ average score was 86,45%, (3) characters was good in which the students’ average score was 82,29%. Based on these results , it was concluded that the ability of the stundents’ in class VII of SMP Negeri 35 Padang in rewriting the spoken tales was good in which the students average score was 81,94%.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe and analyze the influence of the direct object of the technique s ability to write poetry class VII SMP Negeri 2 Sutera review of the ability of students to use diction (choice of words) , style and imaging in writing poetry . This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods . Population in this research is a class VII SMP Negeri 2 Sutera subjects enrolled in 2013/2014 a total of 180 students. Sample size was 28 respondents, taken with purposive sampling technique . The data of this study is the ability to write poetry scores grade students of VII SMP Negeri 2 Sutera before and after using the technique of direct objects . Data is analyzed and then performed a t- test to determine the effect of the use of the direct object of the technique s ability to write poetry VII SMP Negeri 2 Sutera . The results of this study are : First , the average skills of students at pretest (early test) is 59.15 . Second , the average student skills at posttest (final test) is 75.03 . Third , there is a significant influence of the direct object of the techniques of poetry writing skill VII SMP Negeri 2 Sutera , because ≥ . Thus, the direct object is very accurate technique used in learning to write short stories.

Abstract

The background of the problem of this research is there is studenst’ problem VII grade at SMPN 3 Gunung tuleh west pasaman distric in listening. The students of SMP N 3 Gunung Tuleh fell difficult in listening, especially in listening to the interview which was read by the teacher. The purpose of this research to determine the listening skill of interviewing students of VII grade of SMP N 3 Gunung Tuleh west Pasaman through audio media figures on aspects of identity, leader opinion, the background of interview, the purpose of the interview and the content of the interview. The type of this research is a quantitative research that using descriptive method. The instrument used in this research is an essay test. Based on the analysis of data and disscussion of the result of the research concluded as follows: (1) listening skill through audio media interview students in listening figur identify obtain an average value of 7,4 more than enough qualitifications (LDC), (2) Student listening skill through audio media interview in listening to the leaders opinion an average value 5,4 with nearly qualified enaugh (HC), (3) Listening skill interview students thorough audio media interview in the background listening obtain an average value of 7,5 with more than enough qualifications (LDC), (4) Listening skill through students interview though audio media in listening the purpose of interview to get  scored on average 6,7 with sufficient qualifications (C), and (5) Listening skill through audio media interview in listening to the content of the interview obtain an average value of 5,8 with a nearly qualified enough (HC). In generally, listening skill in VII grade at SMP N 3 Gunung tuleh districts of west pasaman through audio media relatively more than enough (LDC) with an average value of the average 71,07.

Abstract

The central issue of this research is directive speech acts in a novel Lelaki yang menggenggam Ayat-ayat Tuhan  by  Taufiqurrahman Al-Azizy. This study aimed to describe the directive speech acts in the novel  Lelaki yang menggenggam Ayat-ayat Tuhan by  Taufiqurrahman Al-Azizy.  This research is a qualitative research method is descriptive content analysis. These results indicate a directive speech acts can be seen from the figures of speech in the novel  Lelaki  yang menggenggam  Ayat-ayat Tuhan  by  Taufiqurrahman Al-Azizy. Type of directive speech acts contained in the novel include speech acts ordered,  pleaded speech acts,  speech acts advising, challenging speech acts and speech act suggests.  Through a directive speech act character in the novel  Lelaki yang menggenggam Ayat-ayat Tuhan  by  Taufiqurrahman Al-Azizy we could take a lesson about the purpose of our life in Gods power. Because this novel is a novel reflection soul.
