Abstract

Improving nutrition in women prior to conception represents an alternative approach to enhancing the quality of pregnancy. Increased knowledge and self-efficacy among preconception women positively impact changes in health behavior. The rapid development of technology provides an opportunity to implement innovative interventions, including digital health. The aim of this study was to systematically review the efficacy of digital health interventions in modifying the behavior of preconception women. The data were obtained by searching relevant articles published from 2015 to 2023 in electronic databases, including Google Scholar, Science Direct, Web of Science (WoS), Biomed Central, and PubMed. The following keywords were used: "digital health" OR "mobile health" OR "e-health" AND "preconception women" OR "pre-marriage women." Of the 266 studies identified in the search phase, only those that met the inclusion criteria were included in the review. These criteria included 10 articles that assessed the effectiveness of digital health interventions on the behavior change of preconception women. The articles included in this study originated from diverse countries and addressed various digital health interventions. The findings of the review indicated that ten articles reported an increase in pregnant women's knowledge, nine articles demonstrated an enhancement in self-efficacy, and nine articles documented behavioral changes. The behavioral changes observed included the initiation of folic acid consumption before pregnancy, an increase in vegetable and fruit consumption, and a reduction in unhealthy dietary behaviors, such as maintaining a normal weight, smoking cessation, and reduced alcohol consumption. In conclusion, digital health literacy interventions, delivered via web-based platforms or mobile applications, demonstrate effectiveness in promoting positive preconception health behaviors among women, ultimately contributing to improved pregnancy outcomes.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kepercayaan diri siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni tari di SD Kristen Makale 2 Kabupaten Tana Toraja. Kegiatan ini ini menggunakan jenis Kegiatan ini kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Prosedur pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam Kegiatan ini ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh sesuai dengan gambaran fakta yang terjadi di lapangan dan mendeskripsikan dengan kata-kata. Hal ini dapat dilihat berdasarkan hasil observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi yang langsung diambil di lapangan dimana peserta didik menunjukkan kepercayaan diri pada saat mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni tari. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari perubahan siswa sebelum dan sesudah ikut kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni tari, saya melihat siswa lebih antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan di sekolah khususnya seni tari karena saya melihat seni tari memberikan perhatian lebih untuk membangun kepercayaan diri siswa yang mengikuti seni tari. Hasil daari Kegiatan ini ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dapat membangun rasa kepercayaan diri peserta didik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni tari dengan kepercayaan diri siswa

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the transformation of Islamic education values contained in the teka ra ne'e tradition in the community of Kole Village, Ambalawi District, Bima Regency. This research uses a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach to trace how these values have changed, adjusted or preserved over time. Data collection techniques were conducted through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The informants consisted of religious leaders, community leaders, and residents implementing the tradition. Data analysis refers to the Miles, Huberman and Saldana model which includes data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the values of Islamic Education in the teka ra ne'e tradition experienced a transformation in both form and practice, such as the values of worship, care, sincerity, politeness, mutual cooperation, and friendship which are now also influenced by modernization, digitalization, and the developing social system.

Abstract

Based on the results of initial observations, it is known that the 2nd graders of UPTD SDN 015926 Aek Korsik classified as having lower learning outcomes in mathematics, especially in the material of equivalence in the value of money. Therefore, this research was carried out with the aim of improving student learning outcomes ​​by using Picture and Picture media. This research was carried out through the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which was divided into two cycles. The research subjects were 15 students of 2nd graders at SDN 015926 Aek Korsik. Based on the research results, the class average score in cycle I was 64.50, namely only 6 students (40.00%) were declared complete and as many as 8 students were declared incomplete. Student learning outcomes increased in cycle II with a classical average value of 75.93 above the class average Success Indicator (IK) score of 70.00. Specifically, there were 14 students (93.30%) who achieved scores above the minimum criteria and were declared complete, and only 1 student was declared incomplete. It can be concluded that the use of Picture and Picture media is able to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes on the subject of equivalence in the value of money.

Abstract

Background: Understanding the relationship between body length and weight in commercially essential shrimp species is crucial for assessing growth patterns and estimating biomass. This study aims to evaluate the relationship between body length and weight in three species of shrimp, namely the whiteleg shrimp (Penaeus merguensis), whiteleg shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei), and tiger shrimp (Penaeus monodon), as a basis for fisheries management in the waters of Jaloh Island, Batam City. Methodology: The samples were collected randomly from the results, catching fishermen at three stations during a day of data collection. Morphometric measurements were conducted on 180 individual, namely whiteleg shrimp (P. merguensis), White shrimp (L. vannamei), and Tiger shrimp (P. monodon). The length-weight relationship has been analyzed for a long time using simple regression using Excel software. The connection between character morphometrics and total length was analyzed with ANCOVA using SPSS 27 software. Findings: The results showed the determinant coefficient of three species shrimp in this study indicates a very close relationship between the growth of length and weight of shrimp. In the P. monodon species, it is known that approximately 78 % of the weight gain is attributed to the increase in shrimp length, while 22 % is attributed to other factors. Characters that influence the total length of the three species are generally overall, where P. merguensis is more influenced by the tail and weight, L. vannamei by the front, back, and body mass, while P. monodon involves almost all parts of the body. Contribution: This approach helps estimate biomass, identify morphological variations between species, and provides a scientific basis in supporting efforts to manage shrimp resources sustainably

Abstract

Cases of child sexual abuse in West Aceh have been increasing at an alarming rate, necessitating a community-based prevention strategy. This study aims to empower the community in preventing sexual abuse through an education and advocacy model based on local wisdom. The research employs the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, which involves the community in the process of problem identification, solution design, program implementation, evaluation, and monitoring. Activities include an initial survey, the development of educational materials, and training sessions for parents, teachers, and community leaders. The findings indicate an increase in community awareness of sexual abuse from 40% to 85%, as well as an improvement in understanding of reporting procedures from 30% to 80%. These results confirm that a community-based approach grounded in local wisdom is effective in raising public awareness of child protection, making it a sustainable prevention model.

Abstract

Penyelidikan tentang pembelajaran Missouri Mathematics Project yang diintegrasikan dengan pendekatan Problem Solving belum menjadi fokus perhatian dari penelitian sebelumnya dalam mengembangkan kemandirian belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pembelajaran Missouri Mathematics Project dengan menggunakan pendekatan Problem Solving pada kemandirian belajar siswa sehingga dapat diketahui tingkat keefektifan model tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan melibatkan seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Marioriawa sebagai populasi. Kami memilih dua kelas dengan teknik cluster random sampling dan didasarkan pada pertimbangan kemampuan siswa diasumsikan homogen. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan angket. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Missouri Mathematics Project dengan pendekatan Problem Solving efektif terhadap kemandirian belajar. Akan tetapi, untuk kemandirian, pembelajaran Missouri Mathematics Project kurang memberikan dampak tanpa menggunakan pendekatan Problem Solving.

Abstract

Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) merupakan seperangkat alat yang digunakan oleh tenaga kerja untuk melindungi seluruh atau sebagian tubuhnya terhadap kemungkinan adanya potensi bahaya kecelakaan kerja pada tempat kerja, penggunaan alat pelindung diri sering diangap tidak penting ataupun diremehkan oleh para pekerja, terutama pada pekerja pengangkut sampah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap dengan penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) pada pekerja pengangkut sampah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode Cross Sectional. Pelaksanan penelitian dilakukan pada pulan februari sampai dengan Maret 2024. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah petugas pengangkut sampah di Dinas Lingkungan Hidup kotamobagu dengan jumlah 71 orang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling dan instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji Chi square. Diperoleh 2 variabel independen yang berhubungan dengan variabel dependen penggunaan alat pelindung diri yaitu pengetahuan (p value 0,000), dan sikap (p value 0,002). Diharapkan untuk lebih meningkatkan kesadaran tentang pentingnya penggunaan APD saat bekerja sehingga dapat terhindar dari kecelakan kerja dan penyakit akibat kerja.

Abstract

Anemia gizi besi masih merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat dengan prevalensi pada anak 5 - 12 tahun sebesar 29% di Indonesia dan di Kota Makassar sebesar 37,6%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor determinan (status kecacingan, status seng, kebiasaan sarapan pagi, pola konsumsi makanan sumber heme dan nonheme, pola konsumsi sumber makanan pelancar dan penghambat zat besi) terhadap kejadian anemia. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah potong lintang yang dilaksanakan pada bulan April – Juni 2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain potong lintang yang dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas 3 - 5 SD Negeri Cambaya Kecamatan Ujung Tanah Kota Makassar. Sampel sebanyak 120 siswa yang dipilih secara acak sederhana. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat, bivariat dengan uji kai kuadrat dan multivariat dengan regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor determinan kejadian anemia adalah status kecacingan (nilai p = 0,007), kebiasaan sarapan pagi (nilai p = 0,002), pola konsumsi makanan sumber heme (nilai p = 0,004), dan pola konsumsi sumber makanan penghambat zat besi (nilai p = 0,016). Hasil analisis multivariat menunjukkan bahwa pola konsumsi makanan sumber heme (OR = 5,09 dan 95% CI = 1,98 – 13,08) dan pola konsumsi sumber makanan penghambat zat besi (OR = 4,53 dan 95% CI = 1,65 – 12,43) adalah determinan utama kejadian anemia gizi. Iron deficiacy anemia has been a public health problem with prevalence on 5 - 12 year old children worth 29% in Indonesia and 37.6% in Makassar. This study aimed to determine the determinant factors (worm status, zinc status, breakfast habit, consumption pattern of heme and nonheme source of food, consumption pattern of iron enhancer and inhibitor food) toward anemia incidence. The study used cross sectional design conducted in April - June 2014. The population was third to fifth grade students of Cambaya State Elementary School at Ujung Tanah District , Makassar City. Sample of 120 students were selected randomly. Data was analyzed using univariate, bivariate with chi-square test, and multivariate with logistic regression test. The results showed that the determinant factors of anemia incidence were wormy status (p value = 0.007), breakfast habits (p value = 0.002), consumption pattern of heme and non-heme source of food (p value = 0.004), and consumption pattern of iron enhancer and inhibitor (p value = 0.016). Multivariate analysis result showed that consumption pattern of heme (OR = 5.09 and 95% CI = 1.98 - 13.08) and consumption pattern of iron enhancer and inhibitor food (OR = 4.53 and 95% CI = 1. 65 - 12.43) was a major determinant of nutritional anemia.

Abstract

This community engagement program aims to enhance digital literacy and digital ethics among Generation Z, particularly high school students in grades XI and XII in Wonomulyo, in response to the complex challenges of the information era. As digital natives, Generation Z has broad access to technology but often lacks the critical and ethical skills necessary for responsible digital media use. This program was designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of how to use digital platforms wisely, safely, and ethically through participatory and experiential learning methods. The implementation included socialization sessions, interactive workshops, case simulations, group discussions, and student-led digital campaigns. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ conceptual understanding, critical thinking abilities, and ethical awareness in navigating digital content. Participants also displayed strong enthusiasm in formulating a digital code of ethics and raising collective awareness about the dangers of misinformation, cyberbullying, and negative digital footprints. With active support from school officials and facilitators, the program effectively fostered responsible digital citizenship. It is hoped that this initiative can be sustainably replicated within the school environment and further developed as part of a character education curriculum rooted in digital competence. Strengthening digital literacy and ethics is a crucial step in preparing young generations to face global challenges wisely and ethically.
