Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the improvement of students' self-adjustment abilities using Group Counseling with Client Centred technique for grade VII students of State JHS 1 Central Tulang Bawang academic year of 2018/2019. The study applied experimental method of the Pretest-Posttest One-Group design. The research subjects consisted of 6 students with low self-adjustment abilities. The data collection techniques were done using scale of adjustment and structured observation. The results showed that students' self-adjustment abilities could be improved using Group Counseling Services with client-centred technique. The results of data analysis showed that the pre test and post test t-calc = -2.207 t table 0.05 = 1.645. The hypothesis of Ha is accepted, meaning that the adjustment ability of grade VII students of State JHS 1 Central Tulang Bawang academic year of 2018/2019 could be improved using the Group Counseling Service with client-centred technique. The conclusion revealed that there is an increase in students' self-adjustment ability before the treatment of Group Counseling Service with client-centred technique and after being given treatment of Group Counseling Service with client-centred technique for grade VII students of State JHS 1 Central Tulang Bawang academic year of 2018/2019. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan penyesuaian diri siswa menggunakan Konseling Kelompok dangan teknik Client Centred pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Tulang Bawang Tengah Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Metode penelitian adalah metode eksperimen desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 6 orang siswa dengan kemampuan penyesuaian diri rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala penyesuaian diri dan observasi terstruktur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan penyesuaian diri siswa dapat ditingkatkan menggunakan Layanan Konseling Kelompok dengan teknik client centred. Terbukti dari hasil analisis data pre test dan post test thitung = -2,207 ttabel0,05 = 1,645. Maka Ha diterima, artinya kemampuan penyesuaian diri siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Tulang Bawang Tengah Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019 dapat ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan Layanan Konseling Kelompok dengan teknik client centred. Kesimpulannyaadalah terdapat peningkatan kemampuan penyesuaian dirisiswa sebelum diberi Layanan Konseling Kelompok dengan teknik client centred dan setelah diberi Layanan Konseling Kelompok dengan teknik client centred pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Tulang Bawang Tengah Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019.Kata kunci: konseling kelompok, penyesuaian diri, teknik client centred

Abstract

The problem in this study was the low learning confidence. The problem in this study was "whether the learning confidence in student can be improved by using Gestalt group counseling techniques?". The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in Learning confidence through Gestalt group counseling services services in students of class X SMA Negeri 2 Tulang Bawang Udik Lesson 2015/2016. This research used Pre-Experimental method with One Group Pretest-Posttest. Research subjects were 8 students with low learning confidence. Data collection techniques used a learning confident. Result by using Wilcoxon test obtained, z count = -2.552 z table = 1,645, then Ho rejected and Ha accepted. An increase of 76.20%. The conclusion was Gestalt group counseling services can improve the learning confidence in students the class X SMA Negeri 2 Tulang Bawang Udik in the Academic Year 2015/2016.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rasa percaya diri dalam belajar rendah. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah rasa percaya diri dalam belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan konseling kelompok teknik gestalt?. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan rasa percaya diri dalam belajar melalui layanan konseling kelompok teknik gestalt pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Tulang Bawang Udik Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Pre-Eksperimental dengan One Group Pretest-Posttest. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 8 siswa yang memiliki rasa percaya diri rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala percaya diri. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon diperoleh, z hitung = -2.552 z tabel = 1,645, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Terjadi peningkatan sebesar 76,20%. Kesimpulannya adalah layanan konseling kelompok dapat meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Tulang Bawang Udik Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016.Kata kunci: bimbingan dan konseling, konseling kelompok, percaya diri

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low of students interpesonal communication. The purpose of this study  to determine the correlation of self confidence with interpersonal communication of the eighth grade students at SMP Negeri 9 Bandar Lampung. This research is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study amounted to 288 students with a sample of 158 students obtained through simple random sampling techniquest. The data collection techniques using a scale interpersonal communication and scale self confidence. The data analysis techniques using Product Moment Correlation. The research results obtained value r count = 0.414 r table = 0.159 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means there is a positive and significant correlation of self confidence with interpersonal communication. If the students self confidence is high then students interpersonal communication will also be high.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah komunikasi interpersonal siswa rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kepercayaan diri dengan komunikasi interpersonal siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 9 Bandar Lampung. Peneitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 288 siswa dengan sampel 158 siswa yang diperoleh melalui teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala komunikasi interpersonal dan skala kepercayaan diri. Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi Product Moment. Hasil penelitian diperoleh r hitung = 0.414 r tabel = 0.159, Ho ditolak dan Ha diterma, yang artinya terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kepercayaan diri dengan komunikasi interpersonal. Jika kepercayaan diri siswa tinggi maka akan diikuti komunikasi interpersonal siswa yang tinggi pula.Kata kunci: hubungan, kepercayaan diri, komunikasi interpersonal

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the school counselors’ performance for preparing guidance and counseling programs at high schools in Lampung Tengah. Population in this study were all school counselors that available at high schools in Lampung Tengah. The method used in this research was descriptive research. Data collection technique in this study used school counselor performance questionnaire. Based on the results of this study, in general the result of data analysis illustrated that the school counselors’ performance in the preparation of Guidance and Counseling Program at the State High School in Lampung Tengah, considered unfavorable because there was only one aspect that can all be classified well, while two aspects were pretty well categorized and four aspects were less well categorized. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kinerja konselor sekolah dalam penyusunan program bimbingan dan konseling pada SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh Konselor sekolah yang ada pada SMA Negeri di Kabupaten lampung Tengah. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik Pengumpul data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket kinerja konselor sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Berdasarkan hasil analisis data secara umum tergambar bahwa kinerja konselor sekolah dalam penyusunan Program Bimbingan dan Konseling pada SMA Negeri Se-Lampung Tengah, dikategorikan kurang baik dikarenakan hanya ada satu aspek saja yang dapat dkategorikan baik, dua aspek dikategorikan cukup baik dan empat aspek dikategorikan kurang baik. Kata kunci : analisis, kinerja konselor, program bimbingan dan konseling

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the increasing of positive self-concept of students with group counseling services. The problem of this research was the low positive self-concept of students. The method used was Quasi experimental one group pretest-posttest method, stastiscally analyzed by the non-parametric Wilcoxon test. The subjects were ten students who have low positive self-concept. The results showed that students positive self-concept can be enhanced with counseling services group, it was proved from the results of the data analysis of pretest and posttest which obtained z output = -2.803 z table = 1.645. Because z output z table, then Ho was ignored and Ha was accepted. It means that there was significant increases between positive self-concept of students before and after being given group counseling services.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan konsep diri positif siswa dengan layanan konseling kelompok. Masalah penelitian ini adalah konsep diri positif siswa yang rendah Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Quasi eksperimen one group pretest-posttest, dianalisis dengan statistik non parametrik menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Subyek penelitian ini sepuluh orang siswa yang memiliki konsep diri positif yang rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep diri positif siswa dapat ditingkatkan dengan layanan konseling kelompok, terbukti dari hasil analisis data pretest dan posttest diperoleh z hitung = -2,803 dan z tabel = 1,645. Karena z hitung z tabel,maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan antara konsep diri positif siswa sebelum dan setelah diberikan layanan konseling kelompok.Kata kunci : bimbingan dan konseling, konseling kelompok, konsep diri positif

Abstract

Berdasarkan data Kementerian Kesehatan, stroke merupakan penyebab kematian pertama untuk semua umur dengan persentase 15,4 persen, dan stroke juga menempati urutan pertama penyakit tidak menular yang mematikan. Time window yang ditujukan untuk pengobatan stroke adalah tiga jam, sehingga pengenalan gejala stroke sedini mungkin kepada masyarakat sangat penting. Tujuan Pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengedukasi masyarakat dengan video edukasi stroke CHERIE (Cerebral Hemorrhage and Ischemic Educational Video) bagi masyarakat untuk lebih memahami penyakit stroke, mulai dari gejala hingga petunjuk penggunaan obat. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah masyarakat umum di wilayah kabupaten Jember. Metode yang digunakan adalah memberikan edukasi dan mengukur tingkat pengetahuan melalui pretest dan post-test untuk mengetahui perubahan tingkat pengetahuan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini, sasaran mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan dengan rata-rata 42,8%, dengan nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 68, dan rata-rata nilai post-test sebesar 95,3. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan Pengabdian masyarakat dalam Upaya peningkatan edukasi masyarakat mengenai stroke melalui video CHERIE cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat.

Abstract

Health is a basic need for every individual. Health is not only related to physical health, but also mental health. Psychological wellbeing is a manifestation of an individual's mental health. Psychological wellbeing is positively correlated with social support, internal locus of control, optimism, job satisfaction, self-efficacy, contextual performance, gratitude, resilience, and job involvement. Individual processes to achieve psychological wellbeing need to be pursued through the provision of systematic guidance services. Information service is one of the important services to be implemented because every individual is basically thirsty for information. Information can be used by individuals to increase their knowledge and understanding of the concept of psychological wellbeing. This community service is designed to implement psychological wellbeing information services with educational comic media. Educational comics media are considered to be more effective in delivering information, more varied so that they do not become saturated, and can be accessed wherever they are.

Abstract

Law Number 24 of 2007 concerning Disaster Management is the main legal basis for disaster management in Indonesia. BNPB as one of its products has the functions of prevention, preparedness, emergency response, as well as disaster rehabilitation and reconstruction. A qualitative narrative approach was used to analyze BNPB's performance and produce follow-up recommendations. Its effectiveness also still varies due to differences in potential and challenges in various regions in Indonesia. A number of follow-up recommendations are provided in this article to improve BNPB's performance in disaster management in Indonesia. BNPB's performance in recent years has been quite good and needs to be appreciated. BNPB has succeeded in reducing the trend in the number of fatalities due to disasters, but it needs to improve in SPD technology through the CSR program. BNPB has succeeded in establishing Destana, but needs to look for more fundings such as from village fund allocations and encourage disaster education as local content in school curriculum. BNPB's performance in its emergency response has not optimal, overlapping regulations between the central and regional governments needs to be clarified. Meanwhile, disaster rehabilitation and reconstruction performance is more focused on short-term infrastructure and economic recovery. BNPB can coordinate with health services provided by BPJS Health which provides psychological and mental health services for long-term recovery of the social and psychological aspects of disaster victims.

Abstract

Asiaticoside, a bioactive compound derived from Glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice root), has garnered attention for its potential as a hypolipemic agent. This study explores the lipid-lowering effects of asiaticoside, focusing on its mechanism of action and pharmacological properties. In silico analysis showed a high activation probability (pa=0.934) for asiaticoside, indicating its strong potential to interact with targets involved in lipid metabolism, such as PPAR-α, and reduce blood lipid levels. Additionally, its low inhibition probability (pi=0.003) suggests minimal risk for non-specific biological interference, making it a promising candidate for therapeutic use with a favorable safety profile. Asiaticoside’s antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties further enhance its potential for cardiovascular protection by reducing oxidative stress, a key factor in atherosclerosis. While preliminary in silico results are promising, further in vitro and in vivo studies are required to confirm its efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetics. Overall, asiaticoside represents a promising natural agent for managing hyperlipidemia and related metabolic disorders, offering an alternative to conventional synthetic therapies.

Abstract

This study was conducted to identify the most frequent problems faced by students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at the University of Lampung, the differences in problems encountered based on study programs, and the most effective strategies to overcome these issues. The research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method. The study population consisted of all active undergraduate students from 19 study programs within FKIP. A total of 576 students were selected as research samples using a convenience sampling technique. The research instrument was the Problem Checklist (Daftar Cek Masalah/DCM), which reveals 11 domains of problems: health, economy, recreation and hobbies, social life, personal relationships, youth issues, family life, religion and morals, school adjustment, future and aspirations, and curriculum adjustment. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The findings showed that health issues were the most frequently reported problem, identified in 16 study programs (84.2%). This was followed by social problems in 15 study programs (78.9%), and personal problems in 13 study programs (68.4%)
