Abstract

Abstark: Telah dilakukan pengembangan terhadap buku ajar kimia pada materi asam, basa, dan garam dengan pendekatan konstruktivistik dan multirepresentasi kelas VII SMP yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan keterbacaan buku ajar yang dikembangkan. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan yang telah dimodifikasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah buku ajar. Hasil penilaian para ahli terhadap buku ajar yang dikembangkan diperoleh persentase kelayakan sebesar 88.395% (sangat tinggi) yang meliputi kelayakan isi, kelayakan kebahasaan, kelayakan penyajian, dan kelayakan kegrafikan berturut-turut sebesar 89%, 81,25%, 88,33%, dan 95% dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Hasil keterbacaan buku ajar memiliki persentase sebesar 89,13% dengan kategori sangat tinggi yang menunjukkan bahwa isi buku ajar mudah dipahami dan tampilan buku ajar menarik, sehingga baik untuk digunakan sebagai bahan ajar. Kata kunci: buku ajar, multirepresentasi, konstruktivistik Abstract: The development has been done toward the chemistry textbook on the acids, bases, and salts material with constructivist and multiple-representation approach of Grade VII which purposed to know the eligibility and legibility of the textbook developed. The form of this research is the research and development that has been modified. The subjects in this research is the textbook. Based on the expert judgement of the textbook developed the percentage of eligibility is gained about 88.395% (very high) which consist of the contents eligibility, the language eligibility, the presentation eligibility, and the graphic eligibility consecutive are 89%, 81.25%, 88.33%, and 95% with very high score category. The result of the textbook legibility has a percentage about 89.13% with very high category which indicates that the contents of textbook are easy to comprehend and it has attractive packaging, so it is good to use as teaching materials. Abstract

Abstract:The aims of this research were to find out the differences of activity and learning achievement of students who were given learning using combination between picture and picture and time token with students who were given learning using conventional methods, and the influence of using combination between picture and picture and time token toward activity and  learning achievement of eleven grade students SMA Santun Untan Pontianak. This research was a quasi experiment (Quasi Exsperimental Design) research with Nonequivalent Control Group Design research, eleven grade  students was divided into experiment class and control class. Calculations used U-Mann Whitney test showed that there are differences in student activity and learning achievement of control class and experimental class with the consecutive value were -2.69 <-1.96 and -3.25 <-1.96. Combination between picture and picture and time token  learning gave high  influence equal to 36.86%  with  ES equal to 1.12 Keywords: Time Token, Picture and Picture, Activity, Learning Achievement

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to describe the error form students grade of VII SMP Kemala Bhayangkari on material changes. The research method was descriptive. The subjects of this study were students grade of VII A SMP Kemala Bhayangkari. As well as twenty two students were used as subject in this research. Data collection tools are a cause-and-effect test and interview guide. The result show that the average error in understanding the essential concepts, the errors in understanding the relationship between concepts, and the errors in understanding the use of concepts to solve problems are 38%, 28%, and 25% respectively. The student is wrong in understanding the concept of change of being, unable to determine the physical and chemical properties, physical changes and chemical changes, and the characteristics of chemical reactions. Students are wrong in understanding the relationship between the concept of temperature and phase change, the characteristics of objects with physical properties and chemical properties, color changes with chemical reactions, solubility with ionization power. Students are wrong in analyzing the physical and chemical properties of an event, analyzing the physical changes and chemical changes in an event. Errors that students do due to less of attention during the learning process, less of note complete, less of material understanding and less of order in the classroom.Keyword: Form of Error, Substance Changes

Abstract

Abstrack This study aims to determine whether there is a difference between the student’slearning motivation of grade XI of SMA NEGERI 2 TEBAS in the materials ofelectrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution using Think Pair Share (TPS) learning modelsand using conventional learning model, and determining the influence of its models onlearning outcomes. The research form used is quasi experiment with as research design“nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest”. Sampling using a saturated samplingtechnique. Data collection tecniques are measurement tecniques. Data collection toolused is a quetionnaire of student learning motivations and essay test. Motivationhypothesis test using independent sample t test ( independent samples T-test) at the reallevel = 5% yields sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 so that Ha received (Ho rejected), thisshows the difference motivation of students learning experimental class and controlclass. The test of learning result hypothesis using U-mann whitney test yields Asympvalue. Sig. (2-tailed) by 0.005 so that Ho is rejected, it shows the difference of thestudent’s learning result of the experimental class and the control class. Abstract

Sabut pinang memiliki kandungan selulosa yang tinggi. Kandungan selulosa ini dapat dimanfaatkan untuk dijadikan selulosa asetat (SA). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh waktu sonikasi terhadap massa molekul rata-rata viskositas (Mv) dan karakteristik selulosa asetat berbahan dasar sabut pinang. Tahapan penelitian ini adalah delignifikasi dan ekstraksi selulosa, proses asetilasi, proses hidrolisis, penentuan kadar asetil dan derajat substitusi (DS), dan penentuan Mv. Sabut pinang didelignifikasi dan diekstraksi untuk menghilangkan lignin dan memperoleh selulosa murni. Tahap asetilasi dilakukan selama 3 jam dengan proses sonikasi selama (0, 15, 30, 60, 90, dan 120) menit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh waktu sonikasi terhadap massa molekul rata-rata (Mv) yaitu terjadinya penurunan Mv pada waktu sonikasi 120 menit. Spektrum FTIR SA hasil sintesis menunjukkan adanya puncak gugus karbonil (C=O) ulur pada bilangan gelombang 1737,85 cm-1 dan munculnya gugus ester dari gugus asetil pada bilangan gelombang 1224,59 cm-1 dan 1039,12 cm-1. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa proses asetilasi pada selulosa dari sabut pinang menjadi selulosa asetat berhasil dilakukan. Hasil difraktogram XRD selulosa sabut pinang memiliki perbedaan dengan SA hasil sintesis. Selulosa sabut pinang muncul puncak tajam yang tinggi pada 23,2771o yang menunjukkan selulosa sabut pinang bersifat kristalin. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan kartu domino kimia dengan siswa yang diajarkan tanpa menggunakan kartu domino kimia dan mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh pembelajaran kimia dengan menggunakan media kartu domino kimia terhadap hasil belajar materi koloid kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sekadau Hilir. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sebanyak 31 siswa dari kelas XI IPA 1 dan 32 siswa dari kelas XI IPA 2 berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Analisis data menggunakan uji U-Mann Whitney menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar dan motivasi antara siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan kartu domino kimia dengan siswa yang diajarkan tanpa menggunakan kartu domino kimia. Berdasarkan perhitungan effect size diperoleh 0,79 (kategori sedang), yang menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan kartu domino kimia memberikan pengaruh sebesar 28,52% terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci: Kartu Domino Kimia, Hasil Belajar Abstract: This research was aimed to determine the differences of motivation and learning result between students who were taught domino chemistry card with students who were taught without domino chemistry card and determine domino chemistry card’s effect on chemistry learning with domino chemistry against learning result in coloid subject matter eleven grade of SMA Negeri 1 Sekadau Hilir. The form of research that used was quasy-experimental with research design was Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Thirty one students of eleven grade IPA 1 and thirty two students of eleven grade IPA 2 participated in this research. Data analysis using U-Mann Whitney test showed that there were differences motivation and learning result between students who were taught use domino chemistry card with students who were taught without domino chemistry card. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine: 1) the difference of motivation and learning outcome students which were given learning with  cooperative learningjigsawtype with positive reinforcement to the students which given learning with conventional methods in environmental pollution material, 2) the magnitude of the influence of cooperative learningjigsaw type with positive reinforcement on learning outcomes students. The form of the research was quasy experiment  with nonequivalent control group design. Sample selection technique was cluster random sampling technique. Instrument of the research consisted of learning motivation questionnaire and learning outcome test. The results showed that there was a difference between learning motivation and students learning outcomes which were given learning with cooperative learningjigsaw type with positive reinforcement towards students which were given learning with conventional methods in environmental pollution material. Learning using cooperative learning jigsaw type with positive reinforcement on the material of environmental pollution in seventh grade of SMPN 8 Pontianak giving the influence student learning outcomes of 58.9% . Keyword:Jigsaw, Positive Reinforcement, Learning Motivation, Learning Outcome, Environmental Pollution.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to produce a chemical practicum guide environment-based acid-base material that is feasible to use and find out the students' response to the guide that was developed. The form of research used is research and development (R & D) which refers to the 4D development model modified to 3D. The subject of this study was an environment-based chemical practicum guide which was piloted in limited trials and extensive trials. Data collection instruments used were feasibility questionnaires and student response questionnaires. The practicum guide is validated by material experts, linguists and graphic experts. The results of the validation of the practicum guide on the feasibility of the content and presentation obtained a percentage of 92.71% and 89.30%, the linguistic feasibility obtained a percentage of 90.47% and the graphic feasibility of 95.37%. The results of the student testing response were limited to 82.6% and in the extensive trial of 83.2%. The results of the data analysis show that the environmental-based chemistry lab guide is very suitable for use in learning.Keywords: practicum guide, environment-based, acid-base material

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) berbantuan multimedia terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi bahan kimia rumah tangga di kelas VIII MTs Negeri Siantan. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling dengan kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII C sebagai kelas kontrol. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar berbentuk esai. Berdasarkan analisis data menggunakan uji U-Mann Whitney menunjukkan terdapatnya perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang diberi pembelajaran menggunakan model kooperatif tipe TGT berbantuan multimedia dengan siswa yang diajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional, memberikan pengaruh sedang terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan harga effect size sebesar 0,73 dan persentase peningkatan hasil belajar siswa karena pengaruh model kooperatif tipe TGT berbantuan multimedia sebesar 26,73%. Samples of the research were selected by random sampling technique with VIII A as experiment class and VIII C as control class. Data collection tools used study achievement test in essay form. The result of data analysis using U-Mann Whitney test showed the differences of learning outcome between students of students of experimental class and control class that were taught by using Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative model assisted with multimedia and students who learned with conventional model, gave moderate influence toward students’ study achievement with the effect size of 0.73 and the percentage of students’ study achievement improvement from Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative model assisted with multimedia by the amount of 26.73%. Abstract

Abstract: The fondamental of chemistry is the process and product, in chemistry learning students were not only given by fact and concept, but also were trained to find fact and concept to develop chemical product through the scientific process and attitude. Scientific skill and attitude hold important role in finding the concept of science. This research was purposed to increase students attitude towards thermochemistry subject using inquiry approach experiment learning method. The experiment in this research was the exothermic and endothermic reactions where students must be able to differentiate those two reactions. The second experiment was calorimetry. In this experiment, students were asked to determine an enthalpy reaction. The form of this research was classroom action research. The subject of the research was eleventh grade science students of SMAN 3 Sanggau, as many as 35 students participated in this research. Observation sheets, questionnaires, lesson plan, and students works sheet were used to observe development of students scientific attitude. The instruments were validated by three validators. The validation result stated that the research instruments were decent to be used in this research. This classroom action research consists of two cycles, each cycle consists of action planning, action, observation, and reflection. The increasing of scientific attitudes that want to be seen are curiosity, critical thinking, and cooperative where each attitude has three assessment indicators. The indicators success of this research were seen from the increasing of students scientific attitude as much as 50% of all students in each cycle. Scientific attitude percentages that were earned from each cycle are 57% in firs cycle and 74.3% in second cycle. The result of classroom action research showed the increasing of students scientific attitude. We recommended there for teacher can increase the students scientific attitude so it can give advantages towards learning outcome and concept of science understanding. Keywords : scientific attitude, experiment method, inquiry approach, thermochemistry, classroom action researchAbstrak: Hakikat ilmu kimia adalah sebagai proses dan produk, dalam pembelajaran kimia siswa tidak hanya diberika fakta dan konsep, tetapi siswa juga dilatih untuk menemukan fakta dan konsep untuk mengembangkan produk kimia melalui proses dan sikap ilmiah. Keterampilan ilmiah dan sikap ilmiah memiliki peran yang penting dalam menemukan konsep sains Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan sikap ilmiah siswa pada materi termokimia dengan pembelajaran menggunakan metode praktikum pendekatan inkuiri. Praktikum termokimia dalam penelitian ini adalah reaksi eksoterm dan endoterm dimana siswa harus bisa membedakan kedua reaksi tersebut, praktikum berikutnya adalah kalorimeter, dalam praktikum ini siswa diminta untuk menentukan entalpi reaksi. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Sebanyak 35 orang siswa XI IPA SMAN 3 Sanggau berpartispasi dalam peneletian ini. Lembar observasi,angket, RPP dan LKS digunakan sebagai instrumen untuk melihat peningkatan sikap ilmiah siswa. Instrument penelitian tersebut divalidasi oleh tiga orang validator. Hasil validasi menyatakan bahwa instrument penelitian tersebut layak digunakan untuk penelitian. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini terdiri dari dua siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Adapun peningkatan sikap ilmiah yang ingin dilihat adalah sikap ingin tahu, sikap berfikir kritis, dan sikap kerjasama dimana masing-masing sikap ilmiah memiliki tiga indikator penilaian. Indikator keberhasilan dilihat dari peningkatan peningkatan sikap ilmiah siswa sebesar 50% dari seluruh siswa pada masing-masing siklus. Persentase sikap ilmiah yang diperoleh dari setiap siklus adalah (57%) pada siklus I dan (74,3%) pada siklus II. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas menunjukkan adanya peningkatan sikap ilmiah siswa. Melalui penelitian ini guru dapat meningkatkan sikap ilmiah siswa dalam pembelajaran sehingga dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap hasil belajar dan pemahaman konsep sains.
