Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to produce LKPD project based learning that was feasible to use and to measure the response of teachers and students to the products developed. The research used was R&D referring to the Kemp model. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The initial development trial subjects consisted of 15 people, the main trial consisted of 30 people and the trial of the use of the product consisted of 13 students of grade VII in SMPN 12 Pontianak and 3 natural science teachers. Data collection tools used were the feasibility assessment sheet and the questionnaire responses of teachers and students. The results of the feasibility assessment conducted by experts gave a very decent level of eligibility, namely the content, presentation, language, and graphic viability with percentages respectively 87.3%, 84.1%, 95.3%, and 96.6 %. The product trial results showed the students' response with an average score of 88.03% and the teacher's response with an average score of 98.3%, which classified as a high category. The effectiveness of LKPD can be seen from the results of the students' skills in making filtration equipment which was 87.8 and distillation equipment which was 84.8 with high criteria. Keywords: Mixed Separation, Project Based Learning, Worksheet

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model Sains Teknologi Masyarakat dengan siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model konvensional serta besarnya pengaruh pembelajaran model Sains Teknologi Masyarakat terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Jawai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan “Nonequivalent Control Group Design”. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIA sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VIIB sebagai kelas eksperimen. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model Sains Teknologi Masyarakat dengan siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model konvensional diperoleh nilai p < 0,05 masing-masing sebesar 0,000 dan 0,045. Perhitungan effect size diperoleh 0,60 (sedang) yang menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model Sains Teknologi Masyarakat memberikan pengaruh sebesar 22,58% terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar.   Kata Kunci: Model Sains Teknologi Masyarakat, Motivasi   Abstract: This research aims was to determine the differences of motivation and learning outcomes between students who were taught use Science Thecnology Society models with students who were taught use conventional models as well as the influence of Science Thecnology Society model with learning outcomes in class VII SMP Negeri 1 Jawai. The method used in this is quasi-experimental with “Nonequivalent Control Group Design”. The research samples were students in grade VIIA as control class and grade VIIB as experiment class. The result of data analysis showed that are differences in motivation and learning outcomes between students who were taught use Science Thecnology Society models with students who were taught use conventional models value earned was p-value < 0.05 respectively 0,000 and 0,045. Effect size calculation value earned was 0,06 (medium) Science Thecnology Society models gave 22.58% effect on increased student learning outcomes.   Keywords: Science Thecnology Society Model, Motivation

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan partisipasi aktif siswa dan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) dilengkapi dengan media booklet pada materi reaksi redoks (reduksi-oksidasi). Kelas yang akan diberikan perlakuan yaitu kelas X MIA MAN 2 Filial Pontianak Tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Pemilihan kelas didasarkan pada hasil observasi dan wawancara guru, partisipasi dan hasil belajar siswa yang rendah. Bentuk penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dan dilakukan 2 siklus. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan yaitu terdiri dari lembar observasi partisipasi siswa, lembar observasi kegiatan pembelajaran dan soal test. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan partisipasi siswa dan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II terjadi peningkatan. Secara berturut-turut rata-rata persentase partisipasi pada siklus I dan II yaitu siklus I sebesar 64,6% dan siklus II sebesar 76,8% dengan indikator keberhasilan ≥ 49%. Persentase rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II yaitu 42,3% dan 76,9% dengan indikator keberhasilan ≥75%. Kata kunci: Partisipasi Aktif Siswa, Think Pair Share, Booklet, Redoks, Hasil Belajar Abstract : This research were aimed to improve active participation and learning outcomes of student using Think Pair Share (TPS) equipped with a booklet media on redox reactions material. The treatment was given to X grade MIA of MAN 2 Filial Pontianak in the academic year of 2015/2016. The class was selected by classroom observation, teacher interviews, students participation, and the low of  learning outcomes of the students. The research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) and was conducted in two cycles. The data were collected by observation sheets of students  participation and learning activities, and test. The results indicated that there are improvement of students participation and students learning outcomes in  1st cycle  and 2nd cycle. Respectively, the average percentage of participation in 1st cycle  and 2nd cycle are 64.6% and 76.8% with ≥ 49% indicator of achievement. The average percentage of students learning outcomes in 1st cycle  and 2nd cycle are 42.3% and 76.9% with ≥75% indicator of achievement. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes between students taught with a cooperative type snowball throwing model with students taught by the lecture method on atomic structure material tenth grade of SMAN 5 Pontianak. The form of this research is Quasy Experimental Designs with the research design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample was XH class students as the control class and XF as the experimental class. Based on data analysis using the U-Mann Whitney test, the Asymp value was obtained. sig ((2-tailed) 0.024 or Asymp. sig ((2-tailed) <0.05, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected which means there are differences in learning outcomes between control class students and experimental class students on atomic structure material. Learning using a cooperative model snowball throwing type has a high influence with a value of effect size of 0.96.This shows that learning using a cooperative model snowball throwing type can improve student learning outcomes in learning the atomic structure material in tenth grade of SMAN 5 Pontianak.Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Snowball Throwing, Atomic Structure

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan buku ajar dengan pendekatan konstruktivistik dan multirepresentasi pada materi pemisahan campuran kelas VII SMP yang dikembangkan berdasarkan hasil uji ahli (expert judgement). Penelitian ini berbentuk penelitian dan pengembangan dengan tahapan sebagai berikut: melakukan penelitian pendahuluan untuk mengumpulkan informasi, melakukan perencanaan dan mengembangkan jenis/bentuk produk awal. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah SMP Negeri 11, SMP Negeri 10 Pontianak, dan SMP Negeri 6 Pontianak. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan ada tidaknya perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran advance organizer tipe comparative dan model pembelajaran konvensional serta besarnya pengaruh penerapan model advance organizer terhadap hasil belajar. Sampel dipilih berdasarkan teknik cluster random sampling. Sampel tersebut adalah  XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah nonequivalent pretest-posstest group control design. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan yaitu tes, lembar observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil uji U-Mann Whitney diperoleh sig<0,05 (0,039<0,05) dapat disimpulkan bahwa perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model advance organizer tipe comparative dengan menggunakan model konvensional pada materi larutan penyangga kelas XI IPA  SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak. Perhitungan effect size dengan model ini memberikan pengaruh sebesar 14,43 % dalam peningkatan hasil belajar. Kata Kunci: advance organizer tipe comparative, hasil belajar, larutan penyangga Abstract: This research were aimed to determine the differences in test result among students taught using comparative type of advance organizer  model and conventional model and to determine the effect of  comparative type of advance organizer model toward test result. Samples were taken by means of cluster random sampling. They were  XI IPA 1 as control class and  XI IPA 2 as eksperimental class. Nonequivalent pretest posttest group control design was applied as form research. Test, observation sheet, and guidlines interview were used to collect data. U-Mann Whitney test showed sig<0.05 (0.039<0.05) could conclusion there’s a difference in test result between  students taught using comparative type of advance organizer model and conventional model on buffer solution materials in XI IPA class of SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak.  Result of calculation of effect size was 14.43% in increasing test result. Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pembelajaran yang belum melibatkan siswa sehingga aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model Quantum Teaching berbantuan animasi pada materi asam basa. Sebanyak 37 siswa berpartisipasi aktif dalam penelitian ini. Bentuk penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dan dilakukan dua siklus. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan yaitu terdiri dari lembar observasi tertutup, lembar observais terbuka dan soal posttest. Berdasarkan analisis data lembar observasi dan soal posttest disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar pada siswa kelas XI IPA 4. Peningkatan aktivitas memperhatikan, lisan dan menulis pada siklus I dan II berturut-turut yaitu 70,3% dan 86,5%, 21,6% dan 24,2%, 54,1% dan 62%. Persentase hasil belajar pada siklus I dan siklus II yaitu 62,2% dan 67,6%. Kata kunci: quantum teaching, animasi Abstract : This research background is motivated by the learning of students who have not been involved, so that the activity and student learning outcomes is low. The purpose of this research is to increase the activity and students learning outcomes using the model of Quantum Teaching aided animation on acid-base material. A total of 37 students actively participated in this study. The form of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) and performed two cycles. Data collection tool used was consisted of a closed observation sheets, open observation sheets and post-test questions. Based on the analysis of the data observation sheets and post-test questions concluded that there are increased activity and learning outcomes of students grade XI IPA 4. Increased activity of attention, verbal and written in cycle I and II respectively are 70.3% and 86.5%, 21.6% and 24.2%, 54.1% and 62%. Percentage of learning outcomes in the first cycle and the second cycle is 62.2% and 67.6%. Keywords: quantum teaching, animation

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana keterampilan dasar mengajar guru kimia berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 (studi kasus di SMA Negeri 6 dan 8 Pontianak). Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian diambil dari kelas X dan XI IPA dari dua SMA Negeri yang ada di Kota Pontianak sehingga sampel berjumlah tiga orang guru. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi di kelas, komunikasi langsung (wawancara) dan dokumen rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Alat pengumpul data berupa lembar observasi tertutup, pedoman wawancara, dan catatan lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh informasi bahwa keterampilan dasar mengajar guru kimia SMA Negeri 6 dan 8 Pontianak dalam penerapan kurikulum 2013 berturut-turut sebesar 12,4% dan 16,4%.   Kata kunci : keterampilan dasar mengajar, kurikulum 2013 Abstract: The aim of this research is to determine how the basic skills teaching of chemistry teacher based curriculum in 2013 (a case study in SMA 6 and 8 Pontianak). Form of this research is quantitative descriptive case studies. Research subjects were taken from the ten and eleven grade of IPA from two existing SMA in Pontianak so that they are three teachers who had participated in this research. The data of this research was collected by observation, interview and document of lesson plan. Enclosed observation sheet, interview guides, and field notes use to collect data. Based on the analysis of data were obtained information that basic skill teaching of chemistry teacher from SMA 6 and 8 Pontianak in curriculum implementation of 2013 respectively are 12,4% and 16,4%. Abstract

AbstractThis  research  was  conducted  to  determine  the  differences  of  student  learningoutcomes and the number of chemistry comic inquiry approaches based of chemistry comic effect towards student learning outcomes. The form of the research was Quasi Experimental Design with the design of nonequivalent control grup design. Random sampling was used as sampling technique. Student learning outcomes tests and interview were used as data collection tool. Before the research instrument are used, the instrument has validity. Based on the posttest data analysis using the Mann- Whitney test, Sig values obtained at 0.000 < 0.05 showed that there is a differences learning outcomes between students who were taught by using the help inquiry approaches based of chemistry comics in the nomenclature of inorganic compounds with students who learn without using media of comic. Inquiry approaches based of chemistry comics gave a high influence towards student learning outcomes by 58.9% on X grade students of SMA Wisuda Pontianak. Keywords: Approach to Inquiry, Chemistry Comics, Inorganic Compounds, Teaching Materials.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan multirepresentasi pada materi perubahan fisika dan perubahan kimia, dan kemampuan berpikir formal siswa kelas VII SMPN se-Kota Pontianak, serta arah dan kekuatan hubungan antara kemampuan multirepresentasi dengan kemampuan berpikir formal. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik Stratified Sample. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan korelasional. Kemampuan berpikir formal siswa diukur menggunakan tes Burney, sedangkan kemampuan multirepresentasi siswa diukur menggunakan tes pilihan ganda beralasan. Analisis korelasi diuji menggunakan statistik korelasi Spearman-Brown. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan kemampuan multirepresentasi siswa kelas VII SMPN se-Kota Pontianak dalam kategori kurang dan sangat kurang dengan persentase kemampuan untuk level makroskopik, simbolik, mikroskopik berturut-turut 38,54%; 20,05%; 18,2%. Kemampuan berpikir siswa kelas VII SMPN se-Kota Pontianak yang telah mencapai tingkat berpikir formal hanya sebesar 1,5%. Hubungan antara kemampuan multirepresentasi dengan kemampuan berpikir formal menunjukkan hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan nilai koefisien korelasi untuk level makroskopik, simbolik, mikroskopik berturut-turut 0,244; 0,396; 0,393. Kata kunci : makroskopik, simbolik, mikroskopik, berpikir formal Abstract: This aim of this research is to know multipel representation ability of material physical changes and chemical changes, and formal thinking ability of students grade 7th junior high school in Pontianak, and direction and strength relationship between multipel representation ability with formal thinking ability. Samples were selected by Stratified Sampling technique. The form of this research was quantitative descriptive and correlational. Formal thinking ability of students were measured by test Burney, whereas multipel representation ability of students were measured by test reasoning multiple-choices. Correlation analysis was tested by Spearman-Brown correlation statistics. The results of data analysis showed that multipel representation ability of students grade 7th junior high school in Pontianak in less and very less categories with percentage ability in level macroscopic, symbolic, microscopic respectively are 38.54%; 20.05%; 18.2%. Thingking ability of students grade 7th junior high school in Pontianak who have achieved a level of formal thinking only 1,5%. Relationship between multipel representation ability with formal thinking ability showed a positive and significant which has value of coefisien correlation in level macroscopic, symbolic, microscopic respectively are 0.244; 0.396; 0.393.
