Abstract

Teacher performance is teaching achievement resulting from activities carried out by teachers in their main duties and functions in concrete realization which is a logical consequence as a professional in the field of education, therefore many factors influence teacher performance. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of 1) leadership on teacher work motivation; 2) commitment to teacher work motivation; 3) work motivation on teacher performance; 4) the direct influence of leadership on teacher performance; 5) the direct influence of organizational commitment on teacher performance; 6) the indirect influence of leadership on teacher performance through work motivation; 7) the indirect influence of organizational commitment on teacher performance through work motivation. The types of data in this research are primary data and secondary data. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires, observations, interviews and research files. The sample for this research was 26 teachers at SDN 5 Bathin Solapan. Analysis tools and hypothesis testing in this research were carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) model, data processing was carried out using the SmartPLS program, and hypothesis testing was carried out at 5% alpha. The results of this research concluded that 1) leadership was proven to have a significant effect on teacher work motivation; 2) commitment is proven to have a significant effect on teacher work motivation; 3) work motivation has been proven to have a significant effect on teacher performance; 4) there is no direct influence of leadership variables on teacher performance; 5) there is no direct influence of the organizational commitment variable on teacher performance; 6) there is a significant indirect effect of leadership on teacher performance through work motivation; 7) there is a significant indirect effect of organizational commitment on teacher performance through work motivation.

Abstract

Kepemipinan merupakan bagian terpinting dalam suatu organisasi, bagitu juga organisasi di rumah sakit. Kepemimpinan dapat meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karyawan dan komitmen organisasi, sehinggga hal ini berdampak pada peningkatan kinerja karyawan. Tujuan penelitian ini membuktikan dan mengalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan pada kepuasan dan komitmen organisasi serta dampaknya pada peningkatan kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada katryawan di RSUD Bangkinang. Analisis data guna menguji hipotesis dilakukan dengan analisis SEM, dengan pengolahan data mlalui program AMOS. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kepuasan kerja memang benar dipengaruhi oleh kepemimpinan, dan kepuasan kerja tersebut juga berpengaruh signifikan pada kinerja. Kemudian komitmen organisasi juga ditentukan oleh gaya kepemimpinan dan komitmen berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja. Pada bagian akhir dari penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa secara langsung gaya kepemimpinan berdampak positif terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

Kinerja pegawai pada instansi pemerintahan menjadi menjadi isu yang sangatstrategis saat ini. Berbagai upaya dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Salah satunyaperlu diketahui faktor apa saja yang memperngaruhi kinerja pegawai tersebut. Penelitian inibertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengalisis 1) pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap kinerjapegawai; 2) pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja pegawai; 3) pengaruh komitmenorganisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai; 4) pengaruh budaya organisasi, gaya kepemimpinan dankomitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai.Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Kampar.Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder yang diperoleh dengan penyebaran kuesionerdan file riset. Sampel penelitian adalah 50 pegawai dan analisis data dilakukan denganmenggunakan model regersi linear berganda, dan pengujian hipotesis dilakukan pada alpha 5%.Tahapan analisis adalah analisa deskriptif statistik, pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas, pengujianasumsi klasik dan pengujian hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa 1)budaya organisasi terbukti secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai; 2) gayakepemimpinan secara parsial terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai; 3)komitmen organisasi secara parsial terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai; 4)budaya organisasi, gaya kepemimpinan dan komitmen organisasi secara simultan terbuktiberpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai.Kata Kunci: Kinerja, Budaya Organisasi, Gaya Kepemimpinan, Komitmen Organisasi

Abstract

The hotel industry is experiencing intense competition to attract customers who will take advantage of the hotel's services. Therefore, company demands for employee performance are increasingly higher, and several factors can affect employee performance. This research examines the effect of motivation, compensation, and organizational culture on performance through job satisfaction. The research sample consisted of 87 employee hotels. Data analysis and hypothesis testing were performed using the Smart PLS program's structural equation modeling (SEM) and data processing. The findings demonstrate a significant impact of motivation, compensation, and organizational culture on job satisfaction rather than employee performance. It has been demonstrated that motivation, compensation, and organizational culture indirectly influence performance through job satisfaction.

Abstract

Considering the bright prospects for food crop agriculture and horticulture, it is essential for the government to participate by planning, implementing, and fostering development in the agricultural sector. The goal is to increase agricultural production, thereby improving the income and welfare of farmers and the community. This research was conducted at the Department of Agriculture, Food Crops, and Horticulture, Kampar Regency. The aim of this study is to determine and analyze: the influence of transformational leadership on employee satisfaction; the influence of organizational culture on employee satisfaction; the direct influence of transformational leadership on employee performance; the direct influence of organizational culture on employee performance; the influence of job satisfaction on employee performance; the indirect influence of transformational leadership on employee performance through employee job satisfaction; and the indirect influence of organizational culture on employee performance through employee job satisfaction. This research utilized both primary and secondary data collected through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The population consisted of all employees at the Department of Agriculture, Food Crops, and Horticulture in Kampar Regency, totaling 177 individuals. However, only 136 questionnaires were analyzed due to some being incomplete. Hypothesis testing was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with a 5% alpha level. The results of the study conclude that transformational leadership significantly influences employee job satisfaction, and organizational culture significantly influences employee job satisfaction. Transformational leadership has a direct and significant effect on employee performance, and organizational culture also has a direct and significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction significantly affects employee performance. However, transformational leadership does not have a significant indirect effect on employee performance through employee job satisfaction, whereas organizational culture does have a significant indirect effect on employee performance through employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the role of teachers in developing students' emotional intelligence in Al-Kautsar Kindergarten, Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method by collecting observation, interview and documentation data. The results of the research show that the role of teachers in building children's emotional intelligence at Al Kautsar Kindergarten can be concluded that the role of teachers in building children's emotional intelligence has been implemented well by teachers at school. This can be seen from children's play activities at school, children's behavior, and children's communication with other people, both teachers and friends. The teacher's role in building children's ability to recognize their own emotions is carried out through telling stories, role playing, guessing expressions, and approaching children by speaking directly. The teacher's role in building the ability to manage children's emotions is carried out through storytelling, habituation, role models and approaches to children. The teacher's role in building children's self-motivating abilities is carried out through providing encouragement/motivation, rewards, watching and training to children. The teacher's role in building children's empathetic abilities is carried out through habituation, direct practice, exemplary stories, and role playing. The teacher's role in building children's ability to build relationships with other people is carried out through group learning, project play, and direct practice. Factors that influence child development are parents, environmental factors, peers, school environment, physical changes, changes in interaction patterns with parents, changes in interactions with peers, changes in external views, and changes in interactions with school.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the Management of Early Childhood Education in the Pembina State Kindergarten, Mandau District. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The results of this research found that planning was prepared through work meetings by planning (1) Annual and Semester Planning (2) Semester Program (3) Weekly Activity Planning (3) Daily Activity Planning. Implementation of learning in the Pembina State Kindergarten, Mandau District, is generally the same as other PAUD or Kindergarten, including: (1) Preparation/arrangement of materials and play equipment/APE (Educative play equipment). (2) Welcoming Children's Attendance (3) Daily Activity Facilities (4) Opening Activities (5) Transitions (6) Praying Together (6) Group Activities (7) Eating Together (8) Closing Activities. The evaluation carried out was divided into 2 stages, namely: internal evaluation carried out by meetings with school principals and teachers and the second evaluation was an evaluation meeting carried out by the Education Office.

Abstract

Teacher performance is important to ensuring the quality of education. Therefore, it is necessary to know the factors that influence teacher performance. This research aims to investigate how teachers perform by examining interpersonal communication and academic supervision of school principals on teacher performance. The sample study is junior high school teachers in Bukit Batu District, totaling 61 people, and all of them were used as samples. Data was obtained using questionnaires, interviews, and observation. Using multiple linear regression for the analysis method the result reveals interpersonal communication and academic supervision have simultaneously been proven to have a significant effect on teacher performance, noteless that interpersonal communication between teachers and principals is going well but is not yet optimal.  Interpersonal relationships between colleagues, teachers, and principals can help them cope with their work experiences and reduce the possibility of burnout, and it will have a good impact on achievement and performance Keywords: Teacher Performance; Interpersonal Communication, Supervision School Principal

Abstract

This study meticulously examines the moderating effect of job satisfaction on the relationship between transformational leadership, work environment, and employee performance in civil service police units members of Kampar Regency. The research method employs the SEM-PLS approach to provide better triangulation and elaboration of cases. Data is collected through surveys and follow-up interviews with civil service police officers in Kampar Regency as respondents. The findings reveal that transformational leadership style has a significant positive effect on employee performance, while the work environment has no significant effect. Transformational leadership style significantly influences performance through job satisfaction as a mediator. However, the work environment has no significant effect on performance through job satisfaction. These results highlight that leadership style and job satisfaction undeniably influence employee performance, but their effectiveness depends on various situational and contextual factors in civil service police units as public service agencies.
