Abstract

The purpose of this study is to outline how innovative educators are utilizing smart tablets as a teaching tool for Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) content pertaining to Indonesian kingdom history at MIN 1 Banyumas. Twenty-five fifth-grade kids made up the sample used in this study. Purposive sampling was the method employed to choose students who participated in science education using smart tablets. This study used documentation, teacher and student interviews, and observation as data gathering methods. Interviews were conducted to see how teachers and students felt about using smart tablets, observations were made to observe how technology was used in the classroom, and documentation was done to back up the findings. To thoroughly explain the use of smart tablets in Indonesian royal history education, the gathered data was examined using a qualitative descriptive methodology. According to the study's findings, using smart tablets can help teachers develop more engaging and interactive lessons while also boosting students' enthusiasm and engagement with royal history content. Teachers can use technology in innovative ways to help pupils grasp difficult subjects. According to the study's findings, MIN 1 Banyumas' use of smart tablets in science instruction has improved student engagement, learning quality, and digital literacy

Abstract

Multicultural values are an important part that must be taught to students, this is because Indonesia has a diversity of religions, ethnicities, cultures, and customs. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of multicultural educational values in Madrasas. This research was conducted at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'arif NU Sunyalangu Kebumen, the object of this research is the values of multicultural education implemented in schools, and the subjects in this study are teachers and students. This study uses a qualitative method with a naturalistic approach (naturalistic inquiry). Data collection was carried out by observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis is carried out with the Miles & Huberman interactive model, starting from the data reduction process, data presentation, verification and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the values of multicultural education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'arif NU Sunyalangu Kebumen have been well implemented through extracurricular and intracurricular activities. The extracurricular activities carried out include scouting, paskibra, sports, arts, and PMR activities. The intracurricular activities carried out are Islamic Religious Lessons, general lessons, flag ceremonies, and congregational prayers and recitations. The multicultural values that appear in children are tolerance, cooperation, harmony, togetherness, nationalism, solidarity, and social.

Abstract

The increasingly advanced development of technology has had a very rapid impact on all aspects of human life, including in the fields of knowledge and education. Technology in the field of education is one of the media supporting the implementation of education itself, one of which is the use of Interactive Flat Panel Display (IFPD) media. The aim of this research is to examine in more depth the use of Interactive Flat Panel Display (IFPD) media in Social Studies Learning for Madrasah Students. This research was conducted at MI Darwata Sikampuh, with the research subjects being fifth grade teachers and students, and the research object was the use of IFPD in social studies learning. This research is a qualitative descriptive research, with the type of field research (Filed Research). Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles Huberman technique by reducing the data first, presenting the reduced data, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this research show that the use of Interactive Flat Panel Display (IFPD) media in social studies learning has a positive impact on students, this is shown by the students' learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to develop globe and map-based learning media for natural appearance (IPS) material for fourth grade students at MI Ma'arif NU Batuanten. This learning media is designed using an engagement-based approach and integration of the latest technologies such as augmented reality (AR) or virtual reality (VR) to enhance student learning experiences. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. This research was conducted using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The evaluation results showed that globe and map-based learning media were effective in increasing students' understanding of natural features and motivating them to learn more actively. The participation of teachers and students in the evaluation process also shows an awareness of the importance of evaluation in the learning process. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. In conclusion, this study shows the benefits of using globe and map-based learning media in learning natural appearance. The results of this study provide a broader understanding of the development of innovative and effective learning media for social studies material for fourth grade students. The implication of this research is the importance of using creative learning media and integration with other learning methods to create a holistic and integrated learning experience.other teaching methods to create a holistic and integrated learning experience.

Abstract

Education has an important role in forming a generation that has the ability to think critically, analytically, and solve problems. However, in social studies learning in schools, there are still many teachers who use conventional learning, so that learning is less effective. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of inquiry-based learning in social studies subjects and describe its influence on student learning outcomes. This research was conducted at MI Ma'arif NU 1 Pancasan, Ajibarang District, Banyumas Regency, the subjects in this study were grade IV students totaling 27 students. This study uses descriptive qualitative research, with the type of field research. The research data was obtained through interviews and observations, then the analysis techniques included the stages of reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of the research obtained by the researcher related to the implementation of inquiry learning carried out by teachers are carried out through 5 stages: 1) Student orientation to problems, 2) Managing the learning process, 3) Providing investigation guidance, 4) Presenting learning results, 5) Evaluation and reflection of activities. Inquiry learning has a positive effect on student learning outcomes, including encouraging students' enthusiasm and curiosity so that they are actively involved during the teaching and learning process, fostering an independent, creative attitude, and being able to develop students' ability to think critically.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the social competence of teachers in developing Social Studies (IPS) learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma’arif NU 01 Karangkemiri. The social competence of teachers is an important factor in creating effective interactions with students, colleagues, and parents, thereby contributing to the improvement of student learning motivation and engagement in the learning process. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The population in this study consists of all social studies teachers at the madrasa, with a sample of one fourth-grade teacher selected purposively. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted in three main stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that teachers have good social competence in managing classroom interactions, applying effective communication strategies, and building harmonious relationships with students' parents. Learning methods such as group discussions and project-based approaches have proven to enhance student participation and understanding of social studies material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemanfaatan media pembelajaran Kitemlar (Kincir Teman Belajar) dan SmarTV dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) kelas 6 yang masuk ke dalam Kurikulum Merdeka yang lebih luas sehingga pada penelitian ini lebih dikhususkan pada Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) materi tarian adat, asal daerah dan ibukota provinsinya di kelas 6 SDN 2 Sokawera Kecamatan Somagede Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang melibatkan 32 siswa (15 perempuan dan 17 laki-laki) sebagai subjek penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan media Kitemlar dan SmarTV mampu meningkatkan motivasi dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pembelajaran. Kitemlar yang merupakan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis kincir atau permainan, efektif dalam menarik perhatian siswa dan memfasilitasi pembelajaran aktif. Sementara itu, SmarTV membantu visualisasi materi pembelajaran sehingga lebih mudah dipahami. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran yang inovatif dan relevan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPS di tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Revolusi Industri 5. 0 telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam kehidupan manusia, terutama di bidang pendidikan. Dalam konteks ini, peran guru IPS di sekolah dasar menjadi sangat penting untuk menyiapkan generasi masa depan yang mampu menghadapi berbagai tantangan dan memanfaatkan peluang yang ada. Sebagai pengelola pembelajaran sosial, guru IPS dituntut untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi, nilai-nilai kemanusiaan, dan kreativitas dalam setiap kegiatan pembelajaran. Mereka tidak hanya bertugas menyampaikan materi, tetapi juga membentuk sikap kritis, kreatif, dan berwawasan luas pada siswa. Pendidikan IPS di era Revolusi Industri 5. 0 mengharuskan guru memanfaatkan teknologi canggih, seperti perangkat digital dan media sosial, sekaligus membekali siswa dengan keterampilan abad ke-21, termasuk literasi digital, kolaborasi, dan pemecahan masalah. Di samping itu, penting bagi guru IPS untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai sosial dan etika yang diperlukan untuk beradaptasi dengan perubahan zaman. Dengan demikian, guru harus menjadi fasilitator yang dapat mengarahkan siswa untuk berpikir kritis dan bertindak bijaksana dalam menghadapi berbagai perubahan global. Oleh karena itu, guru IPS berperan sebagai agen perubahan yang mempersiapkan siswa menjadi warga negara yang siap menghadapi tantangan dunia yang semakin kompleks.

Abstract

Keberagaman budaya adalah masalah umum di sekolah dasar dan dapat menyulitkan proses belajar. Menanamkan nilai-nilai antarbudaya adalah masalah bagi SD Negeri 3 Kaliori karena keberagaman siswa di sekolah tersebut. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki cara-cara di mana SD Negeri 3 Kaliori dapat secara aktif mempromosikan pengembangan nilai-nilai antarbudaya pada siswanya. Observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi adalah landasan metodologi penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel yang dipilih secara purposif dari siswa dan pengajar di SD Negeri 3 Kaliori sebagai populasi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman siswa tentang keragaman, toleransi, dan sifat-sifat terpuji lainnya dapat ditingkatkan dengan penggabungan pendidikan multikultural ke dalam pembelajaran aktif. Teknologi digital dan pembelajaran berbasis proyek juga membantu siswa dalam mengembangkan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang keragaman.

Abstract

Kompetensi pedagogis adalah keterampilan penting yang harus dimiliki bagi pendidik untuk menyelenggarakan pembelajaran yang efektif dan bermakna, terutama dalam konteks Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi kompetensi pedagogis guru IPS di SD Negeri 2 Wlahar Purbalingga dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran, khususnya di tengah tantangan adaptasi teknologi dan relevansi kontekstual. Mengadopsi pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap guru IPS kelas empat dan lima. Analisis data dilakukan dengan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman (reduksi, penyajian, penarikan kesimpulan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki pemahaman yang kuat terhadap karakteristik siswa dan kemampuan perencanaan pembelajaran yang sistematis. Namun, terdapat tantangan dalam integrasi media digital, penerapan metode pembelajaran inovatif (PBL/PjBL), variasi asesmen autentik, dan sistematisasi refleksi pembelajaran, seringkali karena keterbatasan sarana dan pelatihan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan kapasitas profesional guru melalui pelatihan berkelanjutan yang berfokus pada inovasi pedagogis dan penyediaan sumber belajar yang memadai, serta studi lanjutan untuk menguji efektivitas intervensi tersebut di berbagai konteks.
