Multicultural education is education that covers all students regardless of their groups, such as gender, ethnicity, race, culture, social strata, and religion The role of education is very crucial in instilling mutual respect, respect, and cooperation in diversity. Schools must teach about tolerance which is an appreciation and respect for diversity (plurality) that prioritizes humanism and ethics as the main pillar of the formation of an open society and able to work together in pluralism. Active learning strategies are an approach that is able to increase student involvement in the learning process and encourage them to think critically and work together with classmates who have different backgrounds. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with case studies. Based on observations and interviews with teachers and students, the implementation of multicultural-based active learning strategies in grade 5 of SD Negeri 03 Pekuncen showed several positive impacts, including: 1) Students showed a better understanding of the importance of respecting differences in daily life 2) Discussion-based learning and group work helped students develop communication and cooperation skills 3) With more interactive methods, students are more enthusiastic in participating in lessons 4) Learning that links social and economic diversity with daily life makes it easier for students to understand the materialCooperative learning strategies, thematic discussions, role playing, and project-based learning have increased students' social participation and interaction. Students become more confident, able to work together, and have better communication skills. The diversity of students' socioeconomic backgrounds is not an obstacle to learning, but rather a strength to build understanding and tolerance attitudes. Students learn from each other's experiences and understand that each individual has an important role to play in social life. Keywords: Multicultural, Active Learning Strategies

Multicultural values are an important part that must be taught to students, this is because Indonesia has a diversity of religions, ethnicities, cultures, and customs. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of multicultural educational values in Madrasas. This research was conducted at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'arif NU Sunyalangu Kebumen, the object of this research is the values of multicultural education implemented in schools, and the subjects in this study are teachers and students. This study uses a qualitative method with a naturalistic approach (naturalistic inquiry). Data collection was carried out by observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis is carried out with the Miles & Huberman interactive model, starting from the data reduction process, data presentation, verification and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the values of multicultural education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'arif NU Sunyalangu Kebumen have been well implemented through extracurricular and intracurricular activities. The extracurricular activities carried out include scouting, paskibra, sports, arts, and PMR activities. The intracurricular activities carried out are Islamic Religious Lessons, general lessons, flag ceremonies, and congregational prayers and recitations. The multicultural values that appear in children are tolerance, cooperation, harmony, togetherness, nationalism, solidarity, and social.

The increasingly advanced development of technology has had a very rapid impact on all aspects of human life, including in the fields of knowledge and education. Technology in the field of education is one of the media supporting the implementation of education itself, one of which is the use of Interactive Flat Panel Display (IFPD) media. The aim of this research is to examine in more depth the use of Interactive Flat Panel Display (IFPD) media in Social Studies Learning for Madrasah Students. This research was conducted at MI Darwata Sikampuh, with the research subjects being fifth grade teachers and students, and the research object was the use of IFPD in social studies learning. This research is a qualitative descriptive research, with the type of field research (Filed Research). Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles Huberman technique by reducing the data first, presenting the reduced data, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this research show that the use of Interactive Flat Panel Display (IFPD) media in social studies learning has a positive impact on students, this is shown by the students' learning motivation.

Masyarakat umum memiliki peran strategis dalam upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan di madrasah, pelaksanaan ini akan melibatkan partisipasi dan kerja sama masyarakat baik secara moral maupun materil. Peran masyarakat dengan institusi pendidikan merupakan serangkaian dari keseluruhan proses penyelenggaraan pendidikan yang direncanakan dan ditegaskan secara sengaja dan sungguh-sungguh. Pendidikan memiliki peran sentral dalam peradaban bangsa dalam upaya meningkatkan sumber daya manusia ke arah yang lebih terdidik. Studi kasus adalah salah satu strategi dan metode analisis kualitatif yang menekankan pada kasus-kasus yang terjadi pada objek analisis. Studi kasus juga merupakan metode penelitian ilmu-ilmu sosial. Penelitian studi kasus dapat dibagi menjadi tiga jenis, yaitu ekspatriat, eksploratif dan deskriptif. Dalam penggunaannya, peneliti studi kasus perlu fokus pada aspek desain dan implementasi agar lebih mampu menghadapi kritik tradisional tertentu terhadap metode/jenis pilihan. Pendidikan diharapkan mampu kemudian membentuk atau mencetak seseorang sehingga dapat mengembangkan sikap, keterampilan, dan kesadaran intelektualnya untuk menjadi manusia yang terampil, cerdas, dan mulia. Dalam hal ini, peran pendidikan di Indonesia tidak hanya pada peran siswa dan institusi sekolah, tetapi masyarakat juga memiliki peran penting dalam mengembangkan pendidikan baik sebagai sumber, pelaksana maupun pengguna hasil pendidikan. Inilah yang belum sepenuhnya direlifikasi oleh kedua belah pihak, keduanya menganggap bahwa keduanya adalah bagian yang tidak terpisahkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran yang diberikan oleh masyarakat akan memberikan acuan dalam pengembangan lembaga pendidikan baik di Desa Kalikabak, Kecamatan Kesugihan, Kabupaten Cilacap.

Students' speaking skills always require practice and also the right encouragement by the teacher. This is where the teacher as a person who has maturity in thinking should build a replication of activities and learning in the classroom as needed by students. This research is an action study of classroom action. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students at MI Muhammadiyah Sinduraja. The sociodrama method was carried out, the researchers obtained data on the percentage of good progress to improve students' speaking skills. The percentage which was originally shown at 60% had an increase to 75% when the action test was carried out in the second cycle.

This study aims to determine some of the methods of teachers in an effort to form a character of social care in the learning environment at school and the environment where students live. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, namely describing or describing the situation at MI P2A Meri about the learning carried out by the teacher in shaping the character of social care through social studies learning. The population used was grade 4 students of MI Meri totaling 30 students and the sample taken for research based on the Slovin formula was 28 students. The instrument used in this study was the research guideline grid with P2A as an indicator of the character of social care. The research results obtained in the formation of social care character of MI P2A Meri through integration of subjects and integration of school culture. Integrase subjects by including character values, help each other, like to share with others on lesson plans. Making student inspirational figures so that students become stronger in social care. The integrity of the school culture that is carried out is to provide service facilities in social activities, including 1) sharing food with friends, 2) thanking school cleaners, 3) lending stationery to friends who do not, bring or do not have one. 4) collect money and goods for victims of natural disasters, 5) visit homes for orphans and the elderly, 6) respect school officials. 7) help a friend who is in need of help. 8) donate blood. By participating in the learning and school culture program, students will get used to social care for their respective students

This study was conducted at SD Negeri 1 Purbalingga Lor with the aim of analyzing Social Studies learning through traditional and modern media in the context of facing the challenges posed by the Fourth Industrial Revolution, employing a case study method with a qualitative approach. The subjects of the research included educators and students from grades IV, V, and VI. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. While traditional media such as textbooks and physical objects remain widely utilized, they exhibit limitations in interactivity that may lead to student disengagement. Conversely, modern media, including instructional videos and interactive applications, have proven to be more effective in enhancing understanding and fostering creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. This research recommends the integration of both traditional and modern media to optimize students' learning experiences and better prepare them to confront increasingly complex global challenges. Additionally, it advocates for the incorporation of diverse teaching methodologies, the provision of technical training for educators, the allocation of technological resources, and the establishment of partnerships with parents. The findings of this study aim to cultivate adaptive and empowered learners in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Peran guru dalam menumbuhkan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 2 Bajong Purbalingga. Keterampilan berpikir kritis sangat penting dalam pendidikan, terutama di tingkat dasar, karena dapat membekali siswa dengan kemampuan untuk menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan menciptakan solusi untuk masalah yang dihadapi. Melalui pendekatan yang tepat, guru dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung pengembangan keterampilan ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa strategi pengajaran yang berfokus pada keterlibatan aktif siswa, pemecahan masalah, dan diskusi kelompok berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.

The Industry Revolution 5.0 demands the integration of technology and humanism, requiring education to adapt to these changes. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, involving observations, interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that teachers at SD Negeri 2 Candinata have implemented various innovative learning media, such as the use of digital applications and online learning platforms, to enhance student engagement and facilitate a more interactive learning experience. Data shows that 75% of students feel more motivated to learn social studies when using innovative learning media. Furthermore, teachers face challenges in terms of training and technology mastery, which need to be addressed through continuous professional development programs. Thus, the role of professional teachers is crucial in creating a learning environment that is adaptive and responsive to the needs of the times.

This study aims to describe teachers’ creativity in developing social studies learning media at MI Ma’arif NU 01 Bungkanel and to analyze its impact on students’ learning processes and outcomes. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, involving social studies teachers, the principal, and students as research subjects. The findings reveal that teachers are able to develop creative learning media despite limited facilities. Teachers utilized simple media such as hand-drawn maps, real objects, village miniatures, and buying selling simulations to present social studies material in a more concrete and engaging way. This creativity significantly enhanced students’ motivation, engagement, and comprehension of the subject matter. Moreover, the principal’s support and a conducive school culture encouraged teachers to continuously innovate. These findings are consistent with Edgar Dale’s Cone of Experience, Piaget’s constructivism, Dewey’s learning by doing, and Bloom’s taxonomy of learning domains. The study concludes that teachers’ creativity in developing learning media is a key factor in creating active, interactive, and meaningful social studies learning for elementary madrasah students.
