Abstract

Nature inspires many artists, and is explored through visual expression using various media and techniques. Various streams that visualize this include realism or naturalism. These visual expressions can represent and record nature. Visual expressions that are conveyed in an abstract form that can provide a natural atmosphere by bringing calm, comfort, have not been explored by many artists both from within and outside the country. This creation aims to find out how to convey a calm situation through art works to art appreciators. The benefit of this creation for the development of society is that it can create a "reflective effect" for the public, both visually and spiritually/psychically. This art creation method uses qualitative descriptive and exploratory methods. The process of collecting data through library research, and searching on the internet. The results of the art creation process are 4 works that carry the theme of inner peace using oil paint on canvas measuring 60 x 60 cm. The composition of the 4 works is dominated by center and asymmetrical compositions. Coloring is dominated by using cheerful and contrasting colors, namely blue, yellow, green, white and a mixture of these colors. The conclusion of this creation is that the appreciator can capture natural objects that are visualized in each work.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengukur tingkat kebahagiaan masyarakat Kelurahan Sukawarna setelah dibuatnya mural di lingkungan mereka. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode campuran (mix method). Pertama metode penelitian berbasis komunitas dan kedua menggunakan survei. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pertama, masyarakat berhasil membuat karya mural dengan tema kearifan lokal berupa benda-benda hunian, flora, dan fauna yang diwarnai. Secara estetika, visualisasi dinding menjadi menarik, sehingga lingkungan menjadi menarik dan orang dapat mengambil foto diri di sana. Kedua, berdasarkan survei dengan adanya mural mempengaruhi tingkat kebahagiaan masyarakat sebesar 49,9 % Abstract Environmental problems, one of which is the space for the actuality of citizens. The mural is one of the attractive locations for environmental attraction and can be a marker of an urban area. At present RW 04 Sukawarna Urban Village has not been well organized, so it requires a colorful environment that can be one of the interesting areas in Bandung. This service is guided by the facilitator with the principle of partnership assistance with the Asset Based Community. Development method. The community service servants will complete a 12 meter long wall with a height of 3 m. The wall will be painted on and given color. The result of this service is a mural work with the theme of local wisdom in the form of objects of residential objects, flora and fauna that are colored. Aesthetically, the visualization of the walls becomes interesting, so the environment becomes interesting, and people can take self-photographs there. Economically, the environment can be an attraction and an incentive for tourists who come gradually, so that the community can empower economic growth in the future.

Abstract

Patimban, a new port to help the inadequate sea passage of the Tanjung Periuk port in Jakarta. The location of this port is in the north of Java Island in Subang. With regard to the construction of this port, of course it will have an impact on the activities of the local community, who are dominant as fishpond fishermen. The Ministry of Transportation, through its dharma women, collaborates with a team of presenters open up economic opportunities for the local community. From several alternatives, the batik tamarin technique was chosen for fisherwives, this technique is relatively cheap and safe so it is very appropriate for them to learn. It is proven that in a short time they have been able to master this technique, big hopes for them to be able to develop it and economic opportunities will open up.

Abstract

Batik kreatif pada masa sekarang semakin berkembang secara proses dan variasinya baik secara tehnik, pengolahan material, motif, dan hasilnya. Salah satu yang sedang dikembangkan adalah batik dengan tehnik transfer warna. Keunggulan dalam proses membatik transfer warna adalah tidak memakai bahan kimia, memiliki proses yang lebih sederhana dan cepat, serta ramah lingkungan. Maka hal tersebut perlu disosialisasikan kepada masyarakat melalui Pengabdian pada Masyarakat (PkM). Kegiatan PkM ini bertujuan memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang proses membatik kreatif dengan sistim transfer warna. SMK Kebangsaan Tanggerang Selatan adalah sekolah yang memfokuskan pada pengembangan batik. Inovasi baru yang ditawarkan pada pelatihan PkM diharapkan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan peserta didik dalam pengembangan materi teknik membatik dan dapat memperkaya khasanah teknik pembatikan di Indonesia. Karena masih masa pandemic, maka pelatihan pada tahap awal ini masih secara online dengan metode angket dan metode praktik dengan pendekatan cooperative learning. Diharapkan setelah masa pandemi selesai dapat dilanjutkan dengan metode eksperimen dan metode participatory action research. Hasil PkM diharapkan menambah wawasan para siswa mengenai perkembangan proses membatik sebagai warisan budaya tradisi.

Abstract

Art creation can be used to meet the needs of artists by being creative and expressing. The creative process of making this work was initiated from the creation of a figure on the object of the work of art as the artist's self-expression. This research method uses descriptive qualitative analytical and exploratory methods of data obtained from the analysis of aesthetic concepts from works of art. The problem in this process of creation is how art reaches its potential to convey the feeling of alienation of artist through the figures in the work. The results of this process of making are metaphorical figures of the process of contemplation. The message from this artwork is that art has an effective ability to evoke empathy and closeness between people who share similar experiences and complex feelings. Through figures who can reach that potential and independently make connections with appreciatorsPenciptaan seni dapat dipakai untuk memenuhi kebutuhan seniman dengan berkreasi dan berekspresi. Proses kreasi pembuatan karya ini digagas dari penciptaan figure pada objek karya seni sebagai ekspresi-diri seniman. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik kualitatif, dan eksplorasi, data yang diperoleh dari analisis konsep-konsep estetika dari karya-karya seni rupa. Permasalahan dalam proses penciptaan ini bagaimana seni mencapai potensi untuk menyampaikan perasaan keterasingan seniman melalui figure-figure pada karya. Hasil dari proses pembuatan ini adalah figur-figur metaforik dari proses kontemplasi. Pesan yang disampaikan bahwa karya seni memiliki kemampuan efektif untukmembangkitkan empati dan kedekatan antara orang-orang yang berbagi pengalaman yang serupa dan perasaan yang kompleks. Melalui figure yang dapat mencapai potensi itu dan secara mandiri membuat koneksi dengan para apresiator

Abstract

Figur perempuan telah menjadi inspirasi sebagai subjek dalam karya seni seniman di seluruh dunia. Untuk waktu yang lama, diwujudkan dalam artefak artistik, baik dalam patung (seperti Venus dari artefak Willendorf) atau dalam lukisan yang diciptakan oleh maestro dunia. Figur perempuan yang mendominasi cerita dengan menggambarkan sosok kebaikan dan keibuan. Namun, sosok perempuan masih menjadi subjek yang mewakili ide-ide para seniman, seperti dalam lukisan batik kontemporer berdasarkan Cerita Rakyat yang menampilkan figur perempuan. Makalah ini menggambarkan hasil penelitian sebagai upaya untuk melestarikan budaya dalam lukisan Batik dan fokus pada Batik kontemporer yang mengadopsi Cerita Rakyat dengan perempuan sebagai karakter utamanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan hasil penelitian yang berfokus pada estetika dan elemen visual, terutama sosok perempuan sebagai objek dalam lukisan Batik yang terinspirasi oleh Cerita Rakyat. Metode penelitian menggunakan sampel batik yang dianalisis deskriptif kualitatif melalui pendekatan analisis formal dan kritik seni tanpa interpretasi. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa Cerita Rakyat dengan karakter perempuan memberikan inspirasi untuk penciptaan seni lukisan batik kontemporer. Subjek tokoh perempuan adalah salah satu objek utama yang divisualisasikan dengan menyederhanakan bentuk dengan dekoratif yang khas gaya Batik. Sosok wanita distorsi dan disesuaikan dengan proporsi bentuk perempuan. Sosok ini tidak cukup rinci untuk mewakili karakter, tetapi sebagai motif lukisan batik kontemporer dengan nilai genre yang berbeda seperti variasi gaya tradisional, modern, klasik, dan komprehensif. Kontribusi penelitian ini dapat menjadi wacana dalam menginisiasi dan memperkaya visualisasi Cerita Rakyat dengan karakter perempuan dalam pengembangan lukisan batik Indonesia kontemporer.Kata Kunci: Lukisan Batik Kontemporer, Konservasi Budaya, Figur Perempuan, Cerita Rakyat.

Abstract

Cibogo Village, Kodya Bandung is located behind the Maranatha Christian University campus. The village has a Islamic boarding school (Pondok Pesantren) Ranca Herang which is currently actively inhabited by students and female students. These students focus on studying religion, at the end of the year they are always ready to go into society and be independent. On that basis, the pesantren submitted a letter to the Fine Arts Study Program with the aim of getting training from lecturers and students, namely skills that can increase community competitiveness. The method of implementing this activity uses mentoring methods and practical methods. This activity is in the form of training in making painted canvas cloth with the laying technique using a lithophone. This solution was given because the large number of requests for canvas from schools in the city of Bandung had not been fulfilled. Apart from providing training, this program also provides insight into the tools and materials for creating fine arts. The results of this training are carried out in stages and the results show that they are able to make canvas cloth practically, it is hoped that those who acquire these skills will later become provisions to earn a living from making canvas paintings so that they can improve their standard of living, over life, during life community life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas penyampaian pesan yang disampaikan melalui mural untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap kebersihan dan pentingnya melestarikan lingkungan. Metode penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif dan analisis deskriptif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah mural yang terdapat di Desa Pengkoljagong, Jawa Tengah. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa penyampaian pesan yang dibuat dengan menggunakan narasi visual berupa mural menunjukkan efektivitas meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya menjaga lingkungan yang bersih dan wajib melestarikannya. Narasi visual tersebut memvisualisasikan objek berupa lingkungan yang bersih dan nyaman dengan komposisi center serta warna yang dipergunakan menycolok seperti merah, hijau, kuning serta gradasi warna-warna yang diolah dari warna-warna tersebut.

Abstract

Designing motifs is still mostly done manually, using a pencil and then drawing on paper. The purpose of this research is to offer a solution in making geometric motifs by utilizing algorithmic art produced through computer technology. This method is a combination of the use of algorithmic art and the design used in making geometric motif designs. Algorithmic Art is a subset of generative art that is the result of an algorithmic process and is designed by the artist and usually uses a random process to generate variations based on external input. The results of this study are geometric motifs using the algorithmic art method. Geometric motifs can be applied to fabrics, decorations, and others.

Abstract

The proliferation of contemporary cafes in the Surakarta area and its surroundings has added to the increasing wheel of the economy. It is recognized that during the Covid 19 pandemic these efforts were somewhat dimmed, but after or after the Covid 19 pandemic, these efforts continued to increase. Contemporary cafe businesses, especially those that open coffee shops, mostly require something artistic, it can be in the form of decoration, appearance in arranging the room to other things. Decorations or cool language, aesthetic elements are needed to make these cafes more attractive to visitors, especially young people. Young people or children today need places to gather or hang out as well as places for selvi or making stories. Seeing this very promising business opportunity makes the author quite intrigued by this problem. Business opportunities, especially those engaged in making aesthetic elements on the walls of contemporary cafes. Based on the experience gained by the author as a graphic artist, it encourages the author to find suitable partners to be trained in the creation of graphic art works in the form of aesthetic elements, especially those using high and mini-sized printing techniques. The author finally chose the Makmur Graphic Community. This community is a community engaged in graphic studios, exhibition venues and also a place for graphic art work. The purpose of this PKM is to train and assist the Makmoer Graphic Community so that they can produce high-tech graphic art products in a mini format, as an aesthetic element in contemporary cafes in the Surakarta area and its surroundings. The choice of the Makmur Graphic Community as a partner is because this community is inhabited by very young members, besides that this community is already very present in the graphic arts arena, especially in the Surakarta area and its surroundings. Many events have been held both online and offline, it's just that this community has shortcomings, especially in the products produced. For the methodology, Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). The impact is clear that the Makmur Graphic Community is now not only able to produce works of graphic art as a medium of expression, but can also produce decorative works or aesthetic elements. The second clearly produces a significant impact in the economy because the demand for these crafts from time to time has increased. And this is very supportive of the theme of this national seminar, namely the role of universities in community empowerment in supporting progress after the Covid 19 pandemic.
