Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is generally attempted to find the effectiveness of using INTENS BOOK (Interactive English Book) media in learning English for the class X-AKL-3 students at SMK PGRI 1 Jombang academic year 2022/2023. To know whether this media is effective or not, the researcher used pre-experimental research applied in X-AKL-3 class. The research had been done in six meetings that were designed: first meeting was for pre- test, 4 meetings were for treatments, and the last meeting was for post-test. As the quantitative method, the researcher analyzed the data by using the paired sample t-test. The result showed that there was siginificant difference on the student’s mean score of pre-test’s score was 66,12. Then in post-test, the mean score was 84,12. In other words, INTENS BOOK media is effective in learning English for advance learner, especially for first grade of senior high school students. Key words: Intens Book Media, Learning English ABSTRAK Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektivan penggunaan media INTENS BOOK (Interactive English Book) dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris siswa kelas X-AKL-3 di SMK PGRI 1 Jombang tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Untuk mengetahui efektif atau tidaknya media ini, peneliti menggunakan penelitian pra- eksperimental yang diterapkan di kelas X-AKL-3. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam enam pertemuan yang dirancang pertemuan pertama untuk pre-test, empat pertemuan untuk treatment, dan pertemuan terakhir untuk post-test. Sebagai metode kuantitatif, peneliti menganalisis data dengan menggunakan uji-t sampel berpasangan . hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada nilai rata-rata siswa terhadap nilai pre-test sebesar 66,12. Kemudian pada post-test diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 84,12 . Dengan kata lain, media INTENS BOOK efektif dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris bagi siswa tingkat lanjut, khususnya untuk siswa kelas satu sekolah menengah atas. Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research to improve English skills in listening for Students Mentally Disable and help student mentally disable in learning English. In this study, to design and develop application media based on ICT. This research was conducted on tenth grade students of SMALB Muhammadiyah Jombang.  This study researcher chooses listening as skill and used Research & Development (R&D) method which used ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The researcher used some instruments to collect data they are interview and questionnaires and use of data analysis techniques to calculate scores from questionnaires using Linkert scale techniques. The result of questionnaires from material validation was 92 % “Very good” category and the result of media validation was 91 % “Very good” category and while after being implemented to student the final result was 89% which was categorized as “Very good”. Based on those result, it can take conclude that ELMED (English Listened Mentally Disable) can help student mentally disable in learning English especially in listening skills

Abstract

Digital marketing has become a main pillar in advancing micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) in various regions, including in Sidomulyo Village, Megaluh District, Jombang Regency. This study aims to analyze the role of youth in supporting and developing digital marketing for MSMEs in Sidomulyo Village, Megaluh District, Jombang Regency. This study uses qualitative methods with interview, observation, and documentation study techniques. The results of this study underline the importance of the youth's role in driving digital transformation in rural environments. Youth are not only agents of change, but also the main drivers in increasing income and welfare of Sidomulyo Village MSMEs, Megaluh District, Jombang Regency through digital marketing. Therefore, it is necessary to continue encouraging the active role of youth in supporting and developing digital marketing for MSMEs, with support from various parties, including the government, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning system of the Qira'ati method in learning the Al-Qur'an at TPQ Mathlabul Huda Paciran Lamongan and to find out the obstacles encountered in learning the Qira'ati method in learning the Qu’ran at TPQ Mathlabul Huda Paciran Lamongan. This research is qualitative in nature, taking the background of TPQ Mathlabul Huda Paciran Lamongan. Where researchers go to the field to make direct observations about a phenomenon that occurs. By using a theoretical basis that is used as a guide so that the research focus is in accordance with the facts in the field. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that the Ustadzah has implemented the Qira'ati learning system in learning the Qur'an very well. moreover, it is accompanied by an introductory book to learning the Al-Qur'an for students. Very good learning in terms of knowing hijaiyah letters, reading ghorib musykilat, understanding tajwid material, and reading the Al-Qur'an. The obstacle encountered during the implementation of the Qira'ati method was that there were some students who were late for the activity.

Abstract

This research aimed to design the learning media named ELISGAM for dyslexia students that could help them to learn English language. This media application was focused only in listening skill. The research method of this research was Research and Development method (R&D) that adapted ADDIE model that consisted of five procedures, they were : 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. This research involved six dyslexia students of SLBN Jombang in senior high school grade. From those steps, the researcher got the result of the research. 1) The result of media validation was 4,1 (good category), 2) The result of material validation was 4,4 (very good category), 3) The result of dyslexia validation was 4,4 (very good category). Based on the result, the researcher concludes that ELISGAM application was deserved to be used for dyslexia student to learn English language especially in listening skill.

Abstract

English language learning is developing English skills contextually and gratefully according to the context and daily condition and situation of students. This is to produce a form of English learning that touches more on the language needs of learners. This research is aimed at designing a learning media called R_Funlish (Reading Fun English) application for 11th grade students at SMK Kreatif Hasbullah Bahrul Ulum Tanbakberas Jombang. Especially in reading skill material. This research discusses the media for learning reading skills based on Google Drive Hyperlink as media to support teaching and learning activities. This research uses Research & Development with ADDIE models which consist of five stages such as analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subject of research is the eleventh-grade students in SMK Kreatif Hasbullah Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang. 1). The result of media validation was 89,4 (very good), 2). the result of material validation was (good), and 3). the result of the respondent was 85,18 (very good). Based on the result of the study, R_Funlish application shows that the media can influence enthusiasm for learning and make them more excited about understanding the material.

Abstract

This research aims to design a learning media named CHILLGO to support the speaking skills of the 10th-grade students BDPM (Marketing Online Business) 2 at Vocational High School PGRI 1 Jombang. This research used Research and Development (R&D) as the method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The result obtained from the material validation score was 80% which was in the “Good” category and the result of the media validation score was 80% which was in the “Good” category. The result of the students’ responses score was 95% which was in the “Very Good” category. It can be concluded that CHILLGO media deserves to be tasted and to be applied as a supporting media in a class activity.

Abstract

Students' science literacy skills are one of the foundations in developing the competencies and character quality demanded in 21st-century learning, so it is important for teachers to help students improve their science literacy skills by applying appropriate teaching strategies. This study aims to describe students' science literacy skills after participating in learning by applying the guided inquiry model on the topic of Global Warming in the 9th grade at SMP Negeri 51 Surabaya. The one group pretest-posttest design was used with 29 students from class IX C as the research subjects. Research data were collected through a testing method adjusted to the science literacy indicators in the science competency aspect. Data analysis used a dependent sample t-test and N-gain analysis. The research results show a significant improvement in students' science literacy skills, indicated by a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05. This means that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, so it can be stated that there is a difference in the average science literacy skills of students before and after the implementation of the guided inquiry model. Additionally, the N-gain analysis shows an average score of 0.75, which falls into the high category. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the guided inquiry model is capable of improving students' science literacy skills in the aspect of science competence. ABSTRAKKemampuan literasi sains siswa menjadi salah satu pondasi dalam mengembangkan kompetensi dan kualitas karakter yang dituntut pada pembelajaran abad ke-21, sehingga penting bagi guru untuk membantu siswa meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan literasi sains siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model inkuiri terbimbing pada materi Pemanasan Global di kelas IX SMP Negeri 51 Surabaya. Desain one group pretest-posttest digunakan dengan menjadikan sejumlah 29 siswa kelas IX C sebagai subjek penelitian. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui metode tes yang disesuaikan dengan indikator literasi sains pada aspek kompetensi sains. Analisis data mempergunakan dependent sample t-test dan analisis N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains siswa yang signifikan, ditunjukkan oleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Hal ini memiliki arti H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak, sehingga bisa dinyatakan ada perbedaan rata-rata kemampuan literasi sains siswa sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model inkuiri terbimbing. Selain itu, analisis N-gain menunjukkan skor rata-rata sejumlah 0,75 yang masuk dalam kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, bisa didapatkan kesimpulan yaitu model inkuiri terbimbing mampu meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa pada aspek kompetensi sains.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) merupakan salah satu cara yang efektif untuk mengintegrasikan pendidikan tinggi dengan kepentingan masyarakat. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini melibatkan mahasiswa KKN dalam menyosialisasikan praktek wudhu dan sholat yang benar kepada siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri (SDN) Sidomulyo Jombang. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang tata cara wudhu dan sholat sesuai dengan ajaran Islam, sambil memberikan manfaat nyata bagi komunitas setempat. Metode yang digunakan mencakup sosialisasi, demonstrasi, serta penyediaan materi pendukung berupa brosur dan poster.

Abstract

Innovations in teaching media are essential for improving the quality of learning, especially in basic mathematical concepts such as multiplication. This article discusses community service activities in the form of training in creating interactive teaching media for simple multiplication learning. The training is aimed at primary school teachers in Rayung Village, Kepohrejo Village, Kudu District, Jombang Regency with the aim of improving their skills in creating technology-based learning media. The method used in this training is Participatory Action Research (PAR). The results of the activity showed that the participants were able to create and use technology-based interactive teaching media well, and were able to increase students' interest and understanding of multiplication materials. In conclusion, the training is effective in providing teachers with new skills and potentially improving the quality of learning in primary schools.
