Abstract

Achun 178 restaurant is a business engaged in Chinese cuisine. This restaurant is located on Trikarsa Ekualita street, Batam. In running his business, the owner stated that there was a problem where this business did not yet have regulations and work contracts where previously there had been cases of employees resigning from the restaurant and opening a new restaurant with the same food recipes. To solve the problems faced by restaurants, the author proposes to assist these businesses in making legal documents consisting of business regulations and work contracts. Business regulations and work contracts that have been made contain the rights and obligations of employers and employees. This is made to align goals and provide harmony to work life at Achun 178 restaurant. Making this legal document is expected to help restaurants minimize problems that exist in the future.

Abstract

Pizza Hut Delivery is a fast food restaurant that innovates by ordering special takeout and delivery. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that affect employee performance at Pizza Hut Delivery in Batam City with employee involvement as a mediation variable. The sampling of this study used a saturated sampling method by distributing questionnaires to 55 employees of Pizza Hut Delivery in Batam City. Tests were conducted using Smart PLS. The results in the study stated that training and development variables on employee performance with employee involvement as a mediating variable had a positive insignificant effect, compensation and benefits and organizational fairness on employee performance with employee involvement as mediation had a significant positive effect.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of organizational culture, work environment, leadership style, employee competence, and motivation on employee performance through job satisfaction. The sample in this study was 60 Starbucks and Excelso employees in Batam City. Sampling in this study uses the saturation sampling method that uses the entire population as a sample. This research uses the application software Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) and Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that organizational culture on employee performance had no significant effect, work environment on employee performance had no significant effect, leadership style on employee performance through job satisfaction had a significant effect, competence on employee performance through job satisfaction had a significant effect, and motivation on employee performance. through job satisfaction significantly positive effect.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate how to improve Developing Green Abilities, Motivating Green Initiatives, Providing Green Opportunities, Green Process Inovation through Green Human Resource Management. Many companies still focus on increasing profits by maximizing the production process, without paying attention to the impact on the surrounding environment. Based on data for the 2022 period, there is still a lot of hazardous and toxic waste in Batam City, which can cause environmental damage and be dangerous for the health of the people of Batam City. In this research, researchers surveyed via questionnaire as a technique for collecting primary data. Questionnaires were distributed to employees of PT. Phillips, PT. Panasonic, PT. TDK Electronics Indonesia in Batam City because these three companies produce and sell electronic goods, where there is still a lot of electronic waste which is classified as dangerous (Pratiwi et al, 2016). The questionnaire was distributed to 250 respondents using the SPSS application to test the hypothesis. The research results showed that of the 10 hypotheses tested, 7 hypotheses had an effect on each other and the other 3 hypotheses had no effect.

Abstract

Seoul Café is one of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) which is engaged in the culinary field by serving Korean specialties such as tteobokki, bibimbap, kimbap and other snacks that are produced by themselves to suit the taste of the Indonesian tongue. Seoul cafe is located on Jl. Soekarno Hatta, Tanjungpinang and has been operating for 2 years. However, since the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been an uncertain market demand for visitors to the Seoul Café, causing the human resources (HR) at the Seoul Café to be less organized, because as many as 40% of employees had to cut off employment due to the uncertainty of cafe visitors. The main goal that will be discussed in this practical work report is implementing cross functional training to increase the motivation for seoul café employees by creating a training module, the purpose of this training module is to improve workforce efficiency, performance quality, and better service to cafe customers and can be utilized as a learning knowledge, work attitudes in order to achieve certain work competencies. The module will be designed by using ADDIE model and will be handed over to related parties.

Abstract

Lawet Coffee is a business that engaged in the field of culinary that mainly focus on coffee which located in Nusantara Street, Tanjung Balai Karimun. This Lawet Coffee business is included as Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) that gives satisfaction and sustain the customers loyalties. However, this business has a problem regarding the performance evaluation of the employees, which could cause the business does not able to reach the target of sales and could end up the business need to be shut down forcefully. A method for evaluate the employees performances are necessarily needed, it will be effective and efficient by using a method called Balance Score Card which part of Key Performance Indicator. Result and surface is an internal and external of SWOT analysist method, result of mapping strategy and combination of the SWOT analysist results are a formation of KPI. Business partner is having changes regarding the KPI formula which necessarily created for helping the partner of the business in evaluating from internal side as well as external side. Suggestion for the next study or research, expected to be able to design long time period and short time period of sales targets in order to expand the partner business quality with the new innovation.

Abstract

The aim of this activity is to help the company implement a performance appraisal system for all PT employees. Tritan Metalindo Success. Performance appraisals help companies make decisions with accurate and objective assessment results and help companies make decisions regarding career development for employees or even dismissal. Apart from that, it increases employee motivation to work better and meet the performance standards that have been set to achieve company goals. The method used is to provide output in the form of performance assessment indicators and work assessment forms that the company will use. The results of the activities were changes in the performance of the company's employees which increased due to increased productivity and profits at PT. Tritan Metalindo Success. Then one of the problems that occurred in the company was that the company's turnover rate decreased to only 7%, where there was an increase in the quality of employee work in the company

Abstract

Antasari Semesta is a company engaged in expeditions that focuses on shipping goods to various destinations according to the sender's request. The company is located at the talks. Tering, Commercial Center Building, JL., Orchid Garden Complex. Based on the results of an interview with PT. Antasari Semesta, the company does not yet have SOPs to recruit the right employees. Thus, the author will design and update a new employee recruitment system that is more accurate and meets the criteria set by PT. Antasari Semesta. In carrying out this practical work, the author uses several methods, including conducting interviews, observations and documentation. The results of this recruitment and selection SOP intervention also have a positive impact on PT. Antasari Semesta shows that this recruitment and selection SOP can improve performance and develop the company through more qualified human resources.

Abstract

Apotek D'Farma is a store that provides medicines, health products, and pharmaceutical services located at Ruko Bukit Kemuning DD 2 No.7 Mangsang, Batam, Riau Islands with 11 employees. The purpose of establishing this pharmacy is to ensure that every patient can effectively, safely, comfortably, and timely access the medicines they need. Currently, Apotek has a problem with a shortage of proper employees because it will expand the doctor's office. Because collaboration between pharmacies and physician practices can yield significant benefits for patients and businesses. In addition, there are competitors from other adjacent pharmacies so that employees who have competence and expertise in the field of medicine are needed. Based on the above problems, the recruitment and selection process is very necessary, so that the pharmacy will get the expected employees in accordance with their competence

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to learn how much of an impact E-Human Resource Management (E-HRM) had on productivity in Batam's industrial firms. In today's era of increased globalization, businesses of all sizes are scrambling to adopt E-HRM systems that make use of the cutting-edge technologies of Industry 4.0 in order to stay competitive. These results were processed using the statistical packages Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) and SmartPLS 3 (Partial Least Squares). Three Batam-based manufacturing firms, PT. OSI Electronics Batam, PT. Sat Nusapersada, Tbk, and PT. Sumitomo Indonesia, which use E-HRM, provided the 402 participants for this study. One interesting aspect of this study is the mediation role played by the innovation variable. The effects of E-Communication on innovation and two mediation hypotheses were the only ones to fail testing out of a total of 11. Therefore, it is safe to say that E-HRM has been shown to increase output in Batam's manufacturing firms.
